Reperio 13:24Day 1 of my little escapade towards Albury for the weekend, and after spending the night at Bowral, it was on to Tumbarumba this evening. On a drizzly day, it was nice to get out and find a few roadside caches, and this one was soon located and signed.Gratias RoostamanAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Driving across Aussie and stopping for random finds. From USA I believe this is my first find in NSW
This was my 6th find for the day, quick park and grab here although some steath was required but signed replaced and back on the way to wagga. Here comes the generic part of the log....Living in a small town with a young child doesn't give me as many opportunities as I would like to get out and cache, so when it was decided I needed to do some shopping out of town I thought why not have a change of scenery and head to Wagga (where i haven't cached yet)! A play date with the grandparents was organised, who insisted on making it a sleep over so I spent a few hours the night before getting a game plan to really make use of this time, get a d.t or 2 needed for my grid, some earth caches and get enough smileys to get the second cosmic souvenir. Would of been nice to have someone along for the ride but I still am enjoying the adventure flying solo. Thank you to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches.
Found out and about with Mrs Wackyweedos on a much needed roadtrip on some back roads. Werent going to Tumba or Wagga but managed a good handful of these caches today. Only cache 2 of the day and some questionable driving already. Mrs H thought she was turning her, but nooo. Cache spotted quickly by Mrs WW. Thanks for the cache and series along here today, Roostaman.
This series has been on our to-do list for a while. Managed to find and sign a few off today with MrsHaveanez. 2nd find for the day. I'm chief navigator . Thanks for the series Roostaman.
Find Number 2884 found at 10:55. Today we found 2 caches, 0 Adventure Lab stages and had 0 DNFs. Returning from a family gathering at Bowna, we stopped to get some caches to plug an empty day in our calendar. This took a bit longer than it should, because I was looking for the wrong thing in the wrong place. I found it once I started looking more carefullyThe cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as foundThanks Roostaman for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
I found this cache. Please excuse generic log, I need to catch up on my backlog of caches to make sure the Canberra mega event is my milestone. I will edit this log when I am back in geelong Victoria
Find 386 on 29 March 2024Found on our way to Capital Geobash. Quick and easy find here todayTFTC Roostaman
Find 4984 on March 29, 2024Nice quick drive by on our way to Canberra. All is well with the cache. TFTC Roostaman
I did a quick detour off the Hume to do these 4 nearby caches to break up the drive to the Canberra Mega. Great stretch of the legs and all quick finds. TFTC
Cache found and log signed with dalerious , on our way to the Mega .A nice stop in a quiet area to break the drive.Thank you Roostaman. You cache was found in good condition.
Found wirh catnap777 on our way to the Capital Geobash. This was one of the few roadside caches on the way to Canberra that neither of us had stopped for, so we targeted it for a quick parkngrab as the NSW part of "one in three states" for the day. [^]TFTC Roostaman, and for another break in the drive.
#1804Last time The Welder and I made the trip up to Canberra we drove through the most torrential rain the whole long trip and so made it hard to stop for caches but today as we head to then Mega, its a glorious sunny autumn day! We left home about six hours ago and crossed into NSW not sure sure how long it will take to cut the ties of the drudgery left behind but I am sure with each cache find we can start to relax and enjoy a well early and overdue break. Thanks for the cache, a new LGA for us!
Heymissjo and I are getting back into the swing of it now. First NSW cache for a couple of years, and a fresh LGA to boot. After initially being distracted by the impressive insect nest relic, the cache was soon in hand with names added. Thanks for the fun stop under a beautiful blue sky and a warm sinking sun.
A quick stop for an easy find on the drive north to attend the Capital GeoBash Mega .. always good to stretch your legs. Thanks Roostaman for the cache
Day 3 of our Great Leap Forward leap year Mega trip of 2024. Stopping Wagga for the weekend so we can attend a few events. Caching today with Joolay, Kittykatch and GLISS! Signed WW24 (Wagga Wanders 24). Always wonderful to be travelling across the country enjoying the amazing scenery and caching along the way. Main focus for this trip will be to tidy up the last couple of counties needed in Victoria and make a serious dent in the South Australian ones. Plus a few days in Adelaide enjoying the mega fun. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches so we can enjoy the game.
A caching road trip to Wagga to attend a couple of events and find a bunch of caches with Joolay and oother Canberra cachers. Logs signed as Wagga Wanderers 2024 (WW24). Thanks for the hide Roostaman
Quick find Puzzle time completed so now to get the next trail. Had these in our sights for ages.Met up with Nibletricecakes and GLISS!, signing as Wagga Wanderers 24 or WW24.Decided to travel down to Wagga for the events and to get some caching in with Kittykatch. Also a good time to christen her little camper. Awesome setup and we are ready to go.Thanks for getting me out and about Roostaman
Found with Nibletricecakes, Kittykatch, & Joolay on Day 3 of our Adelaide Leap Day Mega trip. Signed as WW24. TFTC
Spotted this short series from the highway and used it for a stretch break Coffee ?? is still another hour away! TFTC Roostaman
Found answers signed dsd or darksidedan or AB or Adventure Boys to save space in the logbook. Thanks for the cache and the Adventure.
Passing by on my way to QOGM in Longreach and needing a cache in the LGA for a challenge I paused a while to make the find.
Always liked Gundagai, especially as it's (mostly) dog friendly.
Thanks Roostaman
Thanks Roostaman
We are about to hit the highway after two days relaxing in Jingellic. We just HAD to stop. Avoided the wasps, SL, TFTC
First find of the day and another cache towards the Wheel Of Challenges.

Outnabout for some solo caching on the long road home. It’s always a great day for caching.

For anyone making Geo plans, do yourself a favour and visit Australia’s only current Geotour at Ballarat while it lasts: https://www.geocaching.com/play/geotours/ballarat-victoria
And for anyone that can travel to Longreach, Queensland, late September 2023, Google “QOGM” which is the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster. You’ll have at least 8 or 9 days of pure geocaching fun with around 200 like minded people attending a mix of events and access to over 200 geocaches placed by the QOGM team. It’s not a Mega, it’s better.

Another quick find on the way home from Wagga to Tumbarumba with the Croker Crew. A nasty looking wasp nest is keeping the cache company. Thanks for the cache.
After a hectic 4 days at the Australian Grand Prix it is time to move onto Bathurst for the 6 Hour Race grabbing caches along the way TFTC
DNF at 9:28
This one looked to be a reasonably easy find. However, access to one end of the sign was blocked by a fallen tree, the other end didn't seem to have a cache anywhere and the middle had a wasp's nest. Since I react badly to wasp stings, I beat a hasty and empty-handed retreat.
Thanks Roostaman for the cache, anyway

I think I know why the previous cacher could not find it. It was attached to the light pole to the right of the hint. I moved it back. TFTC
This one should have been easy, but for some reason I could not spot it today. Next time...
A trip to check out some of the awesome places in Victoria and grab some old caches. TFTC.
I stood starting at the wrong place for quite a while.

It is amazing how you become an instant ninja whenever you walk through a spider web easy quick find. TFTC
After spending a couple of weeks in Victoria we are travelling home to Sydney. We picked up a couple of these on the way south, now to grab a couple more on the way home. Tftc Roostaman
An easy find, pity about the spear grass seeds that were to annoy me at many caches today, thanks for the hide.
Been to Tumba-bloody-rumba finding geo-bloody-caches! Finalf29 and I are taking a few sidetracks on the way home... caching of course... may take a few days
Well I don’t think you will ever have to worry about that container being blown away! Thanks

Day 5 of our NSW road trip and we venture from Tumbarumba to Wagga Wagga. Another road not travelled before and many caches to be found. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining them for us to discover.
Caching today from Tumbarumba to Wagga Wagga. Hopefully the weather will be a little warmer, but I am not counting on it. Due to the number of caches found, I am doing a generic log. Thank you for placing this cache in this location - allowing other geocachers to find. Found cache and signed log. TFTC.
After a great couple of days in Wagga it was time to head off towards home and back to reality.
We have never had spare time leaving Wagga or the hangover was too great and have always gone straight home. This time we were determined to try our luck on the caches along this road and see a bit of different scenery.
Unfortunately after the recent rains things were still a bit muddy around the sides of the road and we were quite happy that we were in the 4wd otherwise we may have remained stuck
All the caches we could get to were found nice and easily and our name was added to the log books.
Many thanks Roostaman for the fun series on a road we haven't been on for years. We were amazed at how green it is for this time of the year.

Heading home after a few days camping along the river at Cobram and stopped off to grab another 4 in this series. T'was a hot day so the plan was to find, sign and get back to the car. All 4 were found without issue....
Thanks for this ones Roostaman....

TFTC. Good place to change drivers stretch the legs and find a geocache on the way to Canberra. I think I worked out that the polls were made of steel but the sign is made of aluminium. When you find it you’ll understand.
Day 2 of our mini break away visiting family. Off to discover some more of the beautiful countryside, it's so lush at the moment. Decided to finish off the w2t and t2w series and an enjoyable drive was had. And just as we near the end, down comes the rain, thats a wrap for us, nice complete row of smileys now. Tftc
Another quick stop to make a find on the way back to Canberra from Albury.

We have finally got to Tumut to visit our son and his family after the Covid-19 restrictions, and with a beautiful sunny day we thought that we would see how we went on this trail. So far today we have managed to convert 2 previous blueys into yellow smilies, so we are hoping that the rest of the day is as productive. We did have the thought that we could catch up with Mr and Mrs Roosta at the end of the day-but wouldn’t you know it, the pair has just set off on the road again! Can’t say we didn’t try.
Found this one quickly, but Mrs SKI needed to call in reinforcements as the wretched thing was not only out of reach, it really didn’t want to leave its cosy hiding spot. Mr SKI had no problems though,

As I'm heading up the highway to Kurri Kurri, I picked up this cache. It's a great way to interrupt the monotony of the drive, and a chance to stretch the legs. Tftc.
Found 11:30 29/11/19 on my way back to Canberra. Thank you Roostaman for the cache and bringing me to this location.
TFTC,
Back to only doing caches with a D/T of 2 or greater when I can. My time at the Vic MEGA has reduced my D to 1.85 and T to 1.8 and I need D 1.9 / T 1.9 to get a challenge near Taree.
Came away from the Hume to grab some caches for today. Having reached 9,000 while at the MEGA, there is a chance that I could make my 10 years of caching on the 28th May 2020 my 10,000th find with 170 finds per month. I don't think I can manage both goals, but it is worth having a go.
Easy find, visited trackables.

On our way home from St Arnuad Mega with Wazza9, decided to go on a road we haven't been on before. Quick find, stamped the log and replaced. Thanks to Roostaman.
The flies were esp bad here. Where did they come from.
Found on another epic caching loop with H423L which included the St Arnaud mega and many other magnificent Australian locations.
Thanks Roostaman and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

Slowly making my way back south after the Wollongong Mega I decided to keep with the 'Gong theme and made my way to Mittagong. Then it was time to head back south, and find a few more caches before crossing the border.
Had a great time finding the caches around here.
Thanks Roostaman.

Heading from Melbourne to woolongong for the mega and had to stop for caches along the way. This area is a regular stop when we pass this way so was fitting to grab a cache. Quick find which was good as still had a way to go.
Thanks Roostaman for the cache.

We are on a holiday enjoying our time away caching and sightseeing. We start the journey off with a few day stop in Hawaii. From there we will visit NewZealand from Wellington to Dunedin. From there we move on to Australia taking in a Mega along the way from Melbourne to Sidney ending in Brisbane before heading home via a layover in South Korea. We plan to pick up a few year 2000 caches and as many others as time will allow.
THANKS goes to Roostaman for placing this gr[8] cache! We appreciate all those who hide caches for without you there would be nothing to find. We are not gr8cachers we like finding GR8Caches! This was our 22787 find. Keep on caching!
