I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.

I went for a walk with my family and wanted to check this cache again as it was on my DNF list. It was a strange sight when we came to GZ. It looked like someone is using it for drug inhaling parties.
Be careful and I would suggest to not to go there at this stage.
I reported it to the police.

25-May-20
Disabled until the local drug militia decide to move on.

I made my way to the place far more complicated than it should, nevertheless I got it. Thanks for the cache. Terrain was a 3.5 for me.

Found what I thought was a well worn path to the GZ but I was wrong - backtracked and came in from a different spot. I didn’t tire in my search and soon found the spot.

Find number 6230. I had intentions of coming up to Te Atatu last Friday but the possibility of 12 FTF got in the way. So today it was. In order to not get caught in the traffic on the Southern motorway I left Hamilton at 4 am. Flew through and arrived just as the sun was rising. A couple of caches before breakfast. Then it was a day on the bike clearing as many as possible in the area (56) before enjoying Fish n Chips while waiting for the evening traffic jam to pass. Finally getting home at 9 pm. Tired but happy with my day.
I could have done with a mortar to clear my track to GZ. After signing I was able to back track. Thank you for the placement

20-Oct-19
Abit of searching off track for this one

09-Oct-19
All done and dusted thx.

09-Oct-19
I treaded carefully and stealthily amoungst the bushes trying to get close enough to disarm this unexloded weapon. No enemy could be seen but I managed a quick whip out of the pen at gz. I scribbled my secret codename hence disarming this green spot on the map. Another success in this war zone today, TFTC:)

Tricky to find our way in....near a fallen tree.
Definitely a Bush bash
...glad to find it though.

I was out looking for fingerprints to find the Museum theft culprits. A rainy day today so I was glad not to have to travel far to find them. I was motarfied to see the log sheet is missing from this cache. Tftc

With part of Team BOP - (Mr) Davidson clan, McJandals, and NZFlossy... All logs were signed RoT - Rotorua or Tauranga. We have been planning this mini raid of Auckland for a short time. We have discovered that we need a small push to kick onto our next milestone. Hopefully, this weekend's haul of caches will bring us a little closer...

We decided to focus much of our attention on Te Atatu this weekend. The sheer number of caches, the walkability factor, and the rumor of some high quality caches sounded appealing... We also agreed to stay together on the trail rather than split up - This proved to be a good idea considering the reputation and hiding prowess of the COs in this area. Four pairs of eyes didn't miss much...

A bit of an excursion to get in here - and out again too. The logbook is almost at the end of its life and will need replacing soon. Thanks The Belligerantz and TFTC.

In Auckland for a weekend of caching with Squirrel nutcase McJandals and Nzflossy. Signed Team RoT.

15-Jun-19
On an Auckland adventure with three other BOP cachers. An early start with lots of fun and a night in the big smoke. I don’t venture up here very often but we were on a mission. Thanks to the COs for some great caches Signed as Team ROT Got there in the end not too bad. Log damp and almost full Now how do we get out TFTC

15-Jun-19
On a road trip with part of Team BOP which includes myself, NZ Flossy, Squirrel Nutcase and Davidson Clan. To save room we have signed ROT and I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing us here. Cheers Awsome. Log wet

Today was a dot day so I took Jrgun9 out for a walk to grab a few caches on the Peninsula.
I had decided to leave this one when I spotted a track in. Unfortunately we followed the wrong geotrail. Near GZ, after a long search, I read some old logs and found just the hint I needed for the next search to be more successful.
T F T C The Belligerantz.

13-Apr-19
Good hint and soon spotted hide.
Container had no lid on it so a little damp.
Placed back best I could, hopefully out of the elements. SLTFTC

07-Apr-19
We didn't feel like bush bashing our way to GZ which is what it looked like we had to do. So passed this one by.

31-Mar-19
I had a bit of spare time this afternoon before an appointment out in West Auckland and so I thought I’d grab a few caches out here on the Te Atatu Peninsula. I thought I would come over this way as I used to live on Te Atatu Road back in the day and so I thought I’d come and visit the old neighbourhood. Adding to this I am quite keen to complete the current Cache Carnival series and I am also currently trying to maintain a current daily geo-streak. Making these finds this afternoon make it day #952 in a row. So after parking by the old gun placements, I made my way to GZ on foot after finding a couple of other caches on the way. It took me a while to navigate my way from the path, but once I did I was met by a couple of rather persistent fantails. Loved the creativity of this cache. So the log book has been signed and the cache has been put back nicely in its spot. The cache is also holding up well. Thank you Belligerantz for taking the time to set up this cache. A favourite point from me.

25-Feb-19
This one appears to be a bit of a dud. No wonder The Belligerantz resistance failed to gain any traction. Anyways..... all quiet and peaceful now in the Te Atatu exclave. Long live the NSA. Daily cache sorted - TFTC Smile

21-Feb-19
Found it! Along with a lot of trash that we removed.

28-Jan-19
The hint lead us straight there. Log a bit damp.

28-Jan-19
We have been following the ongoing North/West unrest with great interest from the safety of the East so took advantage of the Auckland Anniversary Day ceasefire to enter the Western territories and gather further intel.
This one was definitely in the centre of the battlefield and after determining the best route to GZ we had to watch our step.
Fortunately the cache was quickly located but carefully signed so as not to trigger an explosion. Very clever, TFTC.

01-Jan-19
Couldnt find it, will try again another day perhaps

01-Jan-19
Tricky to get to but got there. The log was prrtty wet but sigmed it and tried to dry things out. TFTC. Loved the cache itself. Clever.

30-Sep-18
Do not recommend looking for this one. It is off the track in wetland scrub where the public should not be going.

30-Sep-18
Not such a great place for a cache, not accessible for children. Difficult cult terrain and off path.

23-Jul-18
Today was really the last chance the HKCB and I had had to gather the required intellegence (caches) for the Hidden Souviner Challenge and as such, since we had only begun collecting caches towards this last week, time was rapidly running out.
All caches signed as "HKCD"

So come wet or fine we were to collect caches. So plans were hatched and we departed at 'Oh My God its only 3am" from Hamilton headed for the big smoke (Home by 3pm). Rain it was to be for the start of the day, clearing up by about 9am then as we packed the car and got on the motorway heading south it started again. We just laughed heartidly at our good fortune.
We did well for the day with myself collecting some 65 caches towards the total and only about 3-4 DNF's, so for all that good work we have left quite the hole in the map ready for the next visit.

Thank you all the CO's for your fantastic contributions to our days efforts and may your wars continue to populate the Geocaching Maps. I know they are generic logs but then sometimes you get that.

Thank you for the cache, thank you for the placement

22-Jul-18
With the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs ending soon, and not much of a tally to my name so far one big push was going to be needed to get over the line. Cats&Dragons was is a similar boat, so after a quick scout of the maps Te Atutu, and the nearby motorway cycleway looked like just the ticket to get us both the numbers we needed.

A early start of 3am (this is getting more and more regular) from hamilton saw us starting the hunt just before 5am. The weather wasn't playing along at first as we had drizzle for the first hour or so, but it cleared up once the sun came up and stayed away right up to the point we headed for home. It turned out to be a very successful day with more than enough found to uncover all the Hidden Creatures.

We found a great varity of caches over the day, with some really great hides as well as one or two that were too good for us, or muggles had got them. I'll mention a few here and there that were extra memorable as I get to them, but unfortunetly I only have time for a cut and paste log for most. However a huge thanks to the CO's as the quality of caches were very high.

22-Jul-18
Did not find. Too swampy today.

22-Jul-18
Cool find

14-Jul-18
Out collecting as many of the caches as we can in this area today. We followed the track through the grass and once we had passed the furniture took several walks around before we noticed something that fitted the clue.as others have said nicely themed.now we must try and get back before one of the trees falls down as it looks like it isnt far off.

12-Jul-18
In Te Atatu for a nephew's birthday, so grabbed a few more caches towards my final Hidden Creature, but found myself involved in the Peninsula Wars. After Viewing the Harbour we continued to this location, and got off the beaten track to take out this mortar position. And then retyred safely.

04-Jul-18
Continued walking along the path to this cache, spotted a few trails into the long grass and hoped one would end up near the cache!

Sneaked past the little lounge area, following the GPS to some unknown place. With the help of the hint I soon spotted the cache.

I see today Lostcourse is out and about too, there name appearing in most of the logs I have signed today.

Another fun find, thanks The Belligerantz for another Te Atatu cache Big Grin

04-Jul-18
Out and about for a spot of cache detection for a few hours today. Great winter weather for it today as it is cool yet still and sunny. I parked up on Longbush Road and made my way into the trail network. After success at "The Gatling Gun" I continued along the main trail towards GZ. Spotted a trail in the grass, off the main track, and followed it into the trees. Passed the abandoned furniture and soon noted an object of interest. Closer inspection confirmed the find. Nicely themed hide. Cheers for the cache placement!

17-Jun-18
Very creative. Quite hard. TFTC

10-Jun-18
Last one of the day for a80 and myself and a nice quick find after braving the long wet grass to get to GZ. Bit soggy but nothing unmanageable and we were calling it a day shortly after. TFTC

10-Jun-18
Decided for a rare trip into this war zone with the protection of local ally evilno9. This war does not leave my shoes dry. TFTC

10-Jun-18
Found! Bit wet & dirty but an interesting find, did have to cheat a bit which I regret. Don’t read the comments!! You’ll find it too! Tftc

04-Jun-18
Found cache reasonably quickly but didnt recognise it for what it was; took another 15 minutes then re-read the logs and took a closer look. There it was aĺl along.

02-Jun-18
Seeing that I had recently purchased an e-bike I was eager to give it another try-out back out Te Atatu way.

Shall I follow the geo-trail or is that somebody else's trail.

Cheers for the cache.

26-May-18
Sorry for the delayed logging. caching with Keylev. TFTC

26-May-18
A couple of us had our heads in the cloud, while others did the heavy lifting. This was okay with me since I was a bit tired from the all the walking and hunting we had been doing today. TFTC.

26-May-18
Keylev hatched a plan for a few SEACers to infiltrate the west today. The weather played ball and we had a good, but brisk walk along the water front walkways and then did a few park and grabs for good measure. Keylev, Agazo, Dragon_griffin, laval, hemaludy, cragger, etc. joined in for the fun and we signed the logs as Team SEAC today to save time and log paper. Many thanks to all the westies for their caches today (and a few northerners too!)

We're enjoying the hostilities as it means more lovely caches for us - let peace never reign!!!

TFTC!

26-May-18
Found with team SEAC. TFTC!

26-May-18
A planned was hatched with Team SEAC to do a mission out at Te Atatu Peninsula. Luckily the recent rains had subsided for our caching adventure. The signal was bouncing around under the tree cover but I eventually spotted something that made sense with the hint... and there was the cache, TFTC!

26-May-18
Thanks for the cache.

26-May-18
thanks for the cache

26-May-18
A day to head out this way was planned with some of the Team Seac to turn some green dots into yellow smiles. Thankfully the rain held off although the wind was quite sharp and cold. Had a great day.

We were very careful where we stood today as we encountered A LOT of mud in many places. All good here though.

Logs signed as Team Seac (South East Auckland Crew) to save space.

26-May-18
We were last minute additions to the crew caching today, thanks to the cancellation of all games of soccer. Thankfully the day dawned a lot clearer than the last few days with mainly blue sky and just a bit of a brisk wind to contend with. All logs signed Team SEAC to save space, there were 11 of us caching today (with Team SEAC there is always 11!) - HeMaLuDy, darthcacher1, purply, NZIceman, Keylev, craggar, laval, dragongriffin, Agazo & NZTravellers.
Thankfully it wasn't too long before dragongriffin spotted something that fitted the hint as our GPS was bouncing all over the place. Mr HeMaLuDy explored the item and came up with the cache.

10-May-18
Pleased to have a fast find here today. Tftc

27-Apr-18
Well, well well found it while crawling through bush and trees. Branches in your face but grand daughter saw the tyre....and I thought tread carefully...yes there it was amongst gungy leaves, twigs and yukky stuff!!!

26-Apr-18
Wow what a great place to hide a cache? Had to do alot of creeping and crawling.

15-Apr-18
After a secret meeting with some fellow westies at a very secret location only known to me because I'm the General, I decided to come here on my own for safety reasons to explore the type of weapon used here against the NSA, I had to bide my time to gain entry to the undergrowth, too many spies sneaking around... but eventually I was able to slide on my belly to GZ and make a discovery of something that could go bang, but will it go bang! Hmmm.... time will tell. It's well hidden too, just what we need to keep the anti-Belligerantz at bay.

I managed to make a quick track down to the GZ and hint lead me straight to the likely spot and sure enough catch in hand. Disarmed and log signed!

Managed to find an approach that was not too challenging and soon arrived at camp. From there the clue quickly directed me to the correct site. TFTC!

31-Mar-18
Spent the morning in Tat North with TW collecting a few caches. Thanks.

30-Mar-18
I have been watching with interest all these caches popping up in my back yard in recent months, so finally decided to go out and clear a few of them. So took my GPSr for a short walk along the Coastal Walkway, an area I know well, to clear a few of these recent caches. Headed in through the bushes and quickly spotted something of interest at GZ, soon revealing the cache. Nice hide, TFTC!

27-Mar-18
I had a work meeting rescheduled today which left me with more spare time than I thought I had. Decided to head west and find a few caches. Took a little while to work out the best way to get to this cache. Looks like I passed through a deserted encampment on the way. Glad it was deserted, gave me time to look for the cache. Spotted an item of interest and that's where the cache was. TFTC, Biggles.

17-Mar-18
No luck today. Had to go back home so didn’t have enough time to properly look around. Will try next time.

23-Feb-18
Im sure theres Mortar this cache than meets the eye, drove down from the trail in my tank to deliver a blow to the progress of the war effort, quickly located the position , wheeled in the rest of my troop to approach on two fronts and assigned it to kingdom come, all the B Ants had scattered, it will be a while before they can regroup, it was well done and put together, bespoke even, its given me a few ideas on my memoirs when I retire.------General G-2

Out with lokky was a quick find once we found a path way in . Tftc

15-Jan-18
I headed off the main track and followed the unmarked trail into the jungle to locate the mis-fired mortar that had been reported nearby. All the while taking care not to attract sniper fire.
I carefully made my way through the abandoned western base that had been decimated by Northern bombers at the start of the war, disarming a few boobytraps as I went along.
Thanks to the encoded message, it didn't take long to find the mortar. Inferior western manufacturing had meant that it had not fired properly and I quickly went about disarming it, before retracing my steps. All accomplished without any sign of the Belligerantz horde. TFTC Smile

12-Jan-18
Not an easy one this, but managed to find a decent, if round about, path to GZ....very nice...cheers V

07-Jan-18
GPS was not playing nicely on this one so it took us a while to find this one. The hint is helpful

NICE hide tftc

06-Jan-18
Ryan and I had great fun here as well. Loved the camo and was very pleased to see the camp empty as we passed through. TFTC

06-Jan-18
Last one for today...walked to the trailhead and spotted what looked to be a well troden geotrail in and that was the right approach, looks like Team Welsh had been earlier to flatten the approach for us. In the end, Mr Tuolei was sent in as a skirmisher as our M-8 Light Armoured Car (commonly known as a "Greyhound" in British service) seemed to find the terrain too taxing and refused to go through the long grass.

Quick find with the handy hint here, signed the log and retreated. Passed the camp on the way, looks to have been long abandoned. Thanks for the cache.

05-Jan-18
Again it is 0600 and there is precipitation in the air (That will keep those Not So Adventurous agents of the North away). As I infiltrated the area, I was wondering how to stealthily approach the GZ, but there it was, follow the Geo-Trail. I see that the North has been fooled into thinking this is an abandoned westies camp. Ha! Westie subterfuge wins again, they will be Mortar Fried!!
Mission accomplished, move out!

03-Jan-18
Glad I came here in daylight...and lucky also the Not So Amazing camp had been abandoned .
Made short work of checking the Wesities paperwork here !
.

03-Jan-18
Stumbled across what apears to be an abandoned westies camp site during a truce with Supernanny and NZWashers. Hint made easy work of this once NZWashers pointed us in the right direction. TFTC

02-Jan-18
Took a while to work out how to get into the area but soon had the cache in hand, well themed. TFTC

02-Jan-18
This took a bit of getting to especially with my bike in tow. interesting little camp on the way in. With the good hint it didn't take long to find. Loved the cache. Gave it a fav.TFTC

The General is very busy in counter measures at present... hasn't had the time to come and view matters here, but I have to say well done on keeping your end up in this war that those pesky NSA agents have come up with... well done on your first placement btw!

01-Jan-18
Early afternoon before the rain in the area to get some smiles, souvenir and caching day on NY day ... Hiding spot was so obvious but of course went there on the end ... TFTC

30-Dec-17
Oh god I dropped the lid, not once but twice! Managed to find it on both occasions, whew! Nicely themed but a bit more offroad than I was expecting.

29-Dec-17
On a mission this morning to relocate the Gatling Gun, which was too close to this mortar. Not wanting either of these to set each other off I couldn't leave it much longer. Brought reinforcements in the form of Kommandant Merlot58 along for the mission.

We walked down from her barracks nearby, following the path of many others before us. We spied the abandoned Northerners basecamp (boy, what a mess they have left in their wake!) and continued to find the mortar. After a quick search it was located and returned ready to fire upon the enemy forces. Well done on your first cache! You have made the Belligerantz proud! A well deserved fav point awarded.

28-Dec-17
We were resting up at home when this cache was published. Didn't really expect to have any show of beating the Westen forces but decided to have a shot and at least make it our daily find. Made my way to GZ and on opening the Mortar round was not at all surprised to see other names already there. TFTC

I was doing some chores around home and was just clearing up when notification came out that the Belligerantz were making an assault and this one was less than 400m from home. I threw all my gardening tools in the garage and raced off and after parking up nearby I made the short walk down to gz. Looks like someone has set up camp nearby, maybe the NSA had an outpost but all their soldiers had gone AWOL? General G2 might need to pull them in line me thinks. Loved the themed cache, well done fellow Belligerantz! I had just finished signing the log for {FTF} when I heard the crunch of leaves and turned to find FMZ behind me. So once he signed we headed off to the next one which wasn't too far away.
