Great walk down the street. Sitting on the ground in the open so covered with debris. Thanks for placing.
We were in this area this weekend and in the spirit of the mega, I figured wed better collect at least one cache in a long weekend. This was it! Tftc
Found it! Came earlier this year but couldn't find it so thanks FapAndGap and Squirrel Nutcase for leaving a replacement!
working in Huapai and noticed a few caches around.noted a previous DNF on this one and we also drew a blank.so left replacement container and log.TFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap) Combining work and leisure on a sunny autumnal day.Gaps work brought us into the neighbourhood, so it was a quick scan of the geomap for nearby hides. This one was just up the road and worth a look. It didnt take long to flag this as missing, so we left a replacement (as others have done before us). Check under natural camo on the fence line Thanks JDIGGYDOG. TFTC.
Dnf. Spoke with a nice gentleman who loved next door & wanted to know why people keep coming to exploring the fence.
He explained there was a box of trinkets but its gone now.

Such a win for my youngest. She’s just getting into geocaching and this was a great moment.
Thanks for making the cache.

Another piece of treasure off Tapu Road and a nice spot for it. Parked up near by and went to the end of the fence where all the garden waste is accumulated. There was a workman just 'there' so checked all places before spotting some telltale hiding camo and a peeping cache container. All good here and replaced as found.
I had an appointment in Kumeu today so had to head into town for a small time and whilst there extended my visit to snap up a couple of caches and stretch my legs a little. I have had a few green blobs on my geo-map for a little while today so was good to yellowise them, whilst also adding one more small blue DNF, thanks all COs.

Recently moved to the area, and took the opportunity of a dull, grey, rainy Saturday morning to wander around& check out my new neighbourhood.... and grab a cache along the way.
A quick find. Tftc

I can’t remember the trolls. Maybe kids too old. Out playing cricket this morning so we used the 6 hours free time for caches
Caching today with themexikiwi and checked this one out.
No dramas here with the cache being tucked away in a likely place and we were back on our way in no time. TFTC

For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 6 caches today. It was time to control some of those pests out West today.
The last one required for today.
Cheers for the cache.

Needed a bit of a pick-me-up today so went to look for a few caches with michaelteacher on his lunch break. Nice and easy this one. All in good condition. Tftc
I have just started working at the school that you can see from the gz (though there's no kids yet!) and on a lunch break hayleyfcy and I came here to see if we could get the cache. We could spot the hiding spot from the car, but I doubt many people come down this way. Nice neighbourhood (and cool school btw). Thanks!
Nice quick find and gps and clue spot on. Haven't been down here before; so its nice to see Auckland housing expansion close up....cheers V.
Caching out west today, making the most of a lovely sunny day to add finds to the tally. An enjoyable drive in the country for the most part. My GPSr doesn't have these roads in the system, so I was sort of just following my nose. In the end I navigated to GZ with out incident and parked up at the end of the road. No issue making the find here as I quickly determined were to look. Cheers for the cache placement!
Nice quick find here and eyed up the nearby jeep which had lots of ammo cans on it. TFTC
For some reason I had missed this cache when last in the area. Today was the day to rectify this. Nice and quiet for a quick find.
I was on my way to Stillwater, but still had some time to stop to get this cache. The location was quite obvious as I approached. TFTC.
Spotted it from the road, as it was very exposed. Hid as best i could with what was available.
TFTC!

Met up with an old friend this morning and then headed out this way for a spot of caching. Nice and quiet on a weekday. Parked right by GZ and made a quick find. Dropped off TB.

Amazing when a cache is 400m away from my house! Feel like Will Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air loving in this new Huapai subdivision. Nice hide and congrats for your first!

Approached this from playing fields and overgrown vacant land. Quick find at accurate coordinates. Cache nice and dry in spite of sitting in a shallow puddle.
Today in my spare time I headed north and west to find a few caches a bit from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Found the cache in the second spot I checked. Quite wet at GZ but the cache was safe and sound. TFTC, Biggles.
Heading out West today to collect our daily cache. After all the wild weather overnight the motorway signs were warning of major issues with the traffic lights accross the region due to loss of power. Decided not to venture into the western suburbs and turned North towards Kumeu. Once at gz hide was quickly located. TB collected. TFTC - 1207 consecutive days with finds
Thanks JDIGGYDOG!

Very nice to have another view of the Domain....and so pleased to see they are finally getting on with the new school...which will really relieve Huapai and Waimauku Schools !

My last cache for the evening and I'm looking forward to a nice wine when I get home. I see the co-ords have been updated and because of that I have no problem finding the cache! I hope it gets to stay here for awhile. Congrats on your first cache hide!

Again another cache is published so close to home and I am 50km away across the other side of Auckland at work. Another FTF opportunity missed. So I find myself doing another pre-dawn raid here this morning at the KC co-ords (CO: you might wanna correct your co-ords) for a nice quick find to continue my daily streak (Day #451) Congrats on your first hide. Dropped a TB. TFTC
We were both home having a property maintenance day, so when we got the alert for a new local cache we were ready to spring into action. About to jump in our van, we realised the new tenant's moving truck had arrived unexpectedly early and was totally blocking our driveway. Not what you want to see when an FTF is up for grabs! Fortunately they hadn't started unloading and were able to move slightly to allow us through.
On our way to Huapai we checked the map and wondered if the coords might be slightly out. Sure enough, we quickly realised the cache couldn't be where the GPS pointed, but soon spied the actual hide some 37m away. Opened the nicely stocked container to find a blank logsheet, and signed for the FTF a little after 10am .
Congratulations on your first hide JDIGGYDOG, and we look forward to a few more local caches now .
