After three rather intense days of caching, focussing on the amazing "On Your Bike" geo-art, today we took the opportunity to enjoy the Murraylands in the company of fellow Victorians & caching companions - Suscoe.
Lots of history!

Thanks Mattycat for placing caches in interesting locations.

Today I headed out for a day of caching around Blanchetown. I didn’t believe Mrs Google when she said it was going to be 26 degrees. I am not sure it was that wallet but it was quite a contrast to previous days.
Was happy to come away with around 50 finds and only a few dnf.
I mainly focused on the Ronka JLWE series the puzzles were all found in great condition but unfortunately the trads were a little worse for wear, alas I didn’t have any ‘large’ containers to replace with. Was good to finally get this series ticked off.
There were a lot of sleepy lizards out and dragon flies obviously as confused as me with the change in temperature.
Enjoyed a nice picnic down by the river and even managed to fit in some cache maintenance on the way home.
My thanks to all the CO for their awesome efforts.

Day 1 Adelaide to Monash

Found with mogni on route to monash. It turns out that we can't get in to the B abd B till 4 pm, so killing time finding caches on route heading to monash and leaving a trail of smileys behind us. quick find.

Myself and mogni came up to the river land to go to MacCabe Corner and find the virtual there plus drive the mail trail in murray sunset national park plus the 4 x 4 track in cooltong national park. The original idea was to go through to mildura but with weather 37, 45 , 37 degrees fore cast we changed plans and stayed in monash instead. Any caches that where found damaged where replaced and any logbooks found full or with 2 or 3 spaces left where replaced.

30-Jun-19

After a DNF we dropped past to check on the cache and the original had indeed been rooned.

Didn't have the same size in the geosupplymobile, so fashioned a more hidden hide, slightly smaller.

Now a smallish small or a largish micro [:o)]
Just above ground level.

Not a BBB hide. More like a BBBBBBBBBBBB hide. ie, not in the prickly stuff Cool

PLEASE respect the locals and don't cross the fences to the private property. Enjoy the view!

We had no luck finding this one today. We had a search around but came up empty. Was worth the detour to check out the buildings. Thanks for the hunt.

One of the finds made today with clare007 and Froghoppin, tackling the caches in the Brookfield C.P. / Blanchetown area. Some creative caches, all in good condition!!! Some interesting accommodation here!!!

Out & about with CPWanderer and Froghoppin caching for the day around Blanchetown, Brookfield & Towitta.

The showers had finished, so the rest of the day was overcast & breezy which proved to be good weather for caching.

Our first stop of the day and a nice, quick find.
Thanks for bringing us here Mattycat

31-Jul-18
Out with a CPWanderer and Clare007 we ventured out for a tour around Blanchetown for the day, a coolish day with some blustery wind but great conditions for caching and finishing the day without a DNF was a bonus Big Grin

Our first for the day, certainly love seeing these old buildings reminding us of our pioneering days, with the winter being so dry being rooned would be an understatement, cache was a quick find for s today Big Grin

The streak continues, 7 years, and still looking.
Was about to head out shopping when the ping for this one went off. Quite a distance, but the month is still young and I haven't had an FTF fix yet. Early enough in the day that hopefully the locals will be busy with life and work.
Well over an hour later was approaching GZ to see a car already parked there Sad
After a chat with some locals who were interested in the ruins, managed to find a still blank log Big Grin
Thanks Mattycat for putting this cache out here for us all to find and also wonder about the nearby ruins.
