It was a race to get to it after reading the clue. Bothe saw it at the same time but Gav was first to touch this one
Had a change of plans today, spending doing some more caches around the town and the ROTF series. This was a quick find to start the day. TFTC
My main aim today is to finish off the Rotf trail which I started a few years ago. I had a family emergency on day 2 so had to go back to Adelaide. Enjoyed doing all the caches on a long day
TFTC hevwalker for your cache FMWH - Meningie that we found today.
Today was a travelling day as we made our way to Tailem Bend From Kingston SE. Not to many on the route as it is a little difficult to park 14 metres of motorhome and toad on the side of some of these roads. Rest areas are our preferred on a travel day. Still managed to grab 7 caches before reaching Tailem Bend.
Find count : 15728

It's now school holidays!! Woohoo!! 3 days ago me and my dad set off for the long weekend to attend the GeoVenture2020 mega event! We drove from Willunga and it took us about 5 and a half hours (including 30 caches on the way ) to reach Millicent. 2 days ago was the day of the mega! I got my pathtags ready and my self ready to talk
This was my first mega. Yesterday was the third day in Millicent. Me, my dad and James0116 set off to complete the trail A before going to Penola to attend 2 events. I spent 60 bucks at GeoStuff also, I got some geocoins! Today was the last day. There was a nice goodbye event at 10. After that me and my dad set off to do some caches around the area.
Thank you for maintaining and placing this cache!
We really appreciate your effort!

Apologies for the generic log.
Uni and Medusa, Southern Cross Caching, and I ... shonkylogic spent the October Long Weekend in 2021 attending the Easter 2020 Mega Event at Millicent.
Along the way we stopped to find as many caches as we could - because we somehow convinced our better halves not to accompany us. Or perhaps it was because they really don't like caching as much as us.
We came well equipeed in the Pahero, with not one, not two but THREE TOTTs to help us. Even that wasn't sufficient for all the hides, sometimes you just don't have the right tool for the job.
We enjoyed meeting up with old friends, in these days of Covid is really is very special to be able to hold an event like this.
Thanks hevwalker for placing and maintaining the cache

Found at 12:42 during a fantastic extended weekend away with Shonkylogic and Southern Cross Caching. We had grand plans to complete swathes of powertrails and solved puzzles, but the weather slowed us down a bit. Even so, it was a lot of fun, and we passed my goal - to get my 9000th find
Friday, day 1, had us driving and caching from morning in Adelaide until the 6pm event in Millicent.
Day 2 focussed on the fishing series, wine bottle, and numerous other caches in that vicinity.
Day 3 was our slowest, due to the worse weather, but still a lot of fun.
Day four, after doing SFE series and nearby caches, plus those we passed, I arrived home at about 8pm, after finding my 9000th cache along the way.
Great to catch up with many of the usual faces, some others we hadn't seen for a long time, and a few new faces too.
Thanks for the hides

A relatively quick find. Yes, Meningie is a nice place to visit. Thanks hevwalker.
Having worked for what seems like weeks and weeks straight we decided to give ourselves a day off and what better way to spend a day off but GO CACHING!!!!!! We did several on the way to and a few more on the way back from Meningie. The Weather was reasonably good and the rain held off for most of it. Thanks for putting your caches out for us to find.
Figured we knew what the clue was referring to, so started looking. There it was. Tftc
Headed south today with Jack, Sebastbat, and Purrfect Di. Had a great day.
All under the Team Mattycat stamp today - the others may get around to logging eventually [:o)]
Back in our 4wd had to give it a spin in some sandy tracks too
(Even drove past an event two hours after it had ended without even realising it was on )
A nice place to stop along the way home!
Thanks for the cache smiley hevwalker
Be safe caching. Cover your cough. Sanitise !!!

The great Southeast Saunter with Anymules down to the Millicent area to find caches associated with the postponed GV2020 mega. But with leave organized and accommodation booked the caching trip was not postponed! [^]
Day 1: Today was all about getting there. We actually got to just 75 kms short of Millicent before daylight left us and we gave up and made our way to our digs. Another FMWH and another chance for me to make a different acronym. Forever Making Whoopee Here - Meningie. [:o)] That should bring in the tourists. Oh yeah - found the cache too!

We always enjoy visiting Meningie, especially for the pastries at the bakery.
Mrs J made a quick find on the cache, and passed it through to me to sign the logbook. I thought we'd found a relatively new geocache as there was only one other entry in the book, but I see there's been 90 odd finds before us.
Thanks hevwalker.
