Log mushy.Cache out in open. Maybe from rain.Put a rock on it.Very cool place. Signed The RoosSadly, some old grey haired doofus and friends decided to try and drive all the way up even with his wife yelling at him not to. She'd walked up. LolTftc
Found it accidentally, didn't even know one was here. Fortunately, I pulled out my app and was able to log it. Sadly it has rained and the log is completely soaked. I tried to sign it but it wouldn't work.
Touring a bit further today and grabbed this cache.Nice quick find here. Teamed up and signing logs as TAD (Tenkae Astro Deanside), Tftc

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 144. Barcaldine Day 4. I went for another long drive today. Starting with back to Aramac to do the Lake Dunn sculpture trail loop. I returned to Barcaldine in the early afternoon to try to finish my caching around town, but it was about a fifty fifty affair, and then it started raining and did not stop all night. Forty mm by breakfast.
Having made it all the way out here, I was really impressed by the stones laid out near this cache and that the cache was a reasonable distance away. A nice place to sit and contemplate, if it was not so windy.
Thanks for the cache RoddyC

Incredible views atop this rise. Thankyou for the short detour as we make our way around the trail.
Came along here while visiting the nearby earth cache site. Wonder who made this feature. All good with the cache and the log was soon signed. TFTC.
This was a strange feature which may or may not work. It is certainly unique in Australia. Thanks for showing it to us go to RodddyC. Cache and container were in good condition.

31/8/21. What a fantastic cache experience! We came and meditate and found a cache! ️
Well this was something quite unique and except for cache placement would have remained unknown to us. Quite amazing to stand there and imagine being connected to the world. Thanks for placing. Picked up lorikeet travelbug to take on journey. Tftc
Wow, just wow. Amazing, prob never have found if not for caching. TYFTC. Found with NutCacheBNE.
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds or not as the case may be. TFTC.
03/01/21 Roadtrip Mackay to Emerald to Barcaldine to Aramac to Blackall to Jericho over the next 3 weeks. Lots of puzzle solving before and during trip. Searched area and found GZ . Replaced and signed log. TFTC SL
I actually found this on 4 October, but haven't had reception to log it. Lovely views from this spot and a good hint, however the logbook needs to be replaced as it is covered in mould and smells! Kind of surprising in this arid landscape, but I suppose the cache container creates a microclimate.
We were very kindly invited to do a maintenance run with RoddyC and Grannysmith1947. They found out our paths were crossing when we logged one of RoddyC’s logs last night. Thanks RoddyC for the invite and the cache.
My solo trip to Queensland continues...
After camping near Muttaburra last night, I was up and on the road early for a big day of looking about and caching. There were quite a few new caches out since I was last here a couple of years ago, so I was keen to grab some of them. My focus areas were Muttaburra, Aramac and the Lake Dunn sculpture trail, with a view to getting to Barcaldine for the evening.
I was fascinated by this one, so I donned my tin foil hat and entered the ‘healing circle’. I immediately noticed small cuts, scratches and bruises disappear, along with a a range of other ailments, including some I never knew I even had!
It wasn’t long before a man with a long grey beard appeared from nowhere and offered to sell me some bai lin tea and a Sydney Harbour Bridge. I offered to pay with my VISA card but he refused to accept it, mumbling something about the number of the beast.
Fortunately the elves and the fairies from the bottom of the garden arrived soon after and helped me get out of the circle.
Quite an experience really. I can’t wait to visit the other ‘healing circles’ some time!
Thanks RoddyC for the cache.

I’ve had the very best day today doing this whole loop out from Aramac. TFTC RoddyC
Just had to make a quick detour from the art trail to grab this one. Due to the road, we had to walk the last 50metres but with spot on coords it was an easy find tftc
Caching in and around Aramac and surrounds we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
A very interesting place to visit. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Day 361 - We decided today that a nice drive out to ARAMAC was the order of the day however we made a wrong decision and continued on from there and managed to stay out too long and not finish two started caches so after much discussion and a little bit of pig headiness we turned for home some 200K out of the way. It was however a nice drive and we manage to collect 31 finds and 1 DNF of those 1 werigo 1 mystery 1 multi 1 letter box and the remainder were the good old fashion traditional caches. What a great day.
Whist undertaking the werigo and the statue multi we traveled around and it was noticed that we were travelling past a cache so a short detour was made and at GZ the cache was soon found with the log signed it was returned to the location it lay.
Thanks RoddyC for showing us the interesting area at GZ

Big day out today from Aramac. Plan to complete the Wherigo and Multi together on the sculpture trail. Well it would have been okay if we didnt start the wrong WIG first up so we did a lengthy circuit of town to start the day with a DNF before heading further afield.
Thankfully we had a great day visiting Lake Dunn and seeing all the amazing sculptures. Even ducked into Gray Rock on the way back which was a great little historical spot.

Grey Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Now travelling west towards Barcaldine for TheLongestLine (of RVs) World Guinness Record attempt. BRC is very proactive in gaining greynomads to visit. This is one of their attempts. Geocaching is another. This is one of many caches in the BRC for us to attempt.
Left the van in Araramac while we drove out to the Healing Circle. Last time we were out this way, we had the van attached, it is often hard to take 3.5tonne off the road.
We walked up the last 50 metres, the track is currently closed to traffic and very rough. While I said my prayers at the Healing Circle, John found the cache.
Thanks RoddyC

Hi there RoddyC.
The QOGM event is over, and as we hadn't driven up to Muttaburra during the weekend, we decided that today would be a good day for a drive.
We had some GPS troubles, so we had to resort to "paper" logging and iPhone navigation for a while - so the caches won't always be logged in their correct order.
We thoroughly enjoyed today's adventure. Thanks for placing the cache for our enjoyment.
Regards
Ian & Penny.

A huge thanks for placing this cache, we had not heard of the healing circle before and we will certainly do a little research about it now. Again, without geocaching we may have missed this very interesting site. SL TFTC

Today we are participating in the first Geo Muster, taking us on a journey of about 200km from Aramac to Jericho via Lake Dunn and the Sculpture Trail.
Today had the potential to be a bit of a disaster from the outset but it was a fantastic day with us achieving everything we set out to do! We only had 3 in the car, so it was a busy but fun day with multi tasking and good teamwork getting us over the line.
Well done Team PIE!
We started out late from Barcy and picked up the 6 caches of the 20 in 20 series we had missed the day before, so we didn't get to Aramac until after 9am. We took a rough back track to the racecourse to find noone there so returned to town only to discover we needed to be back at the racecourse to start the whereigo! We went back and got that fired up on two devices just in case one crashed and then lined up at the starting blocks.
I was inwardly quite anxious by then and voiced my doubts about getting everything done. Mrs Patrol14 said we would get through what we could and make sure we at least saw all the sculptures. Goodo! thats a plan so I took a chill pill and we set off on our adventure.
Today we successfully completed the wherigo, 2 multis, an earthcache and all the trads except Dickson Island. And we saw all the sculptures too! We found all bar two of the things on the "spot the..." competition but could retro fit those in, as well as spying a few more things for the eye spy sheet. We also shared in a FTF with the Gullivers and still made it to Jericho in plenty of time to have a cuppa with others in the park. We then went and dressed some anthills and did a few more caches before attending the event and had a great meal at the Jericho Hotel. We decided to skip the movie as it had been a big enough day and finished the last couple of caches in Jericho before heading back to Barcy.
This was the first cache on the trail and there was a good view over the plains from up here.
Thank you to all the COs for your hard work in creating the caches and hides we visited today.

What a beauty. Got it on this awesome trail with DiMorgan, Firesafe and Snakepiters. Fav point alloc. Thankyou. We formed a circle of friends and felt the positive energy. Great view.
Found during the QOGM muster, as we only had the waypoint we walked up signed the log and moved onto the next earth cache, but reading the full details now it would have been an interesting place to spend more time at, especially after the tree scapes Mrs Cachedin NQ incurred the previous day, thanks again for an informative cache RoddyC

Day 9 of our road trip to the QOGM and its the busy Muster Day. Thank you so much to all the COs who have placed caches along the highways and byways that we will travel over in the fourteen days we are away. Without your caches we would not see and/or learn about your local area.
Today was the big day we had all been waiting for the day of the muster. This turned out a very big day of a very long wher-i-go & multi. We passed & inspected some amazing sculptures on a our way to Lake Dunn & then the event & Jericho before returning to Barcaldine.
Caching today with Liz and Bruce & the Snakepitters who were driving their Red Belly Black & Firesafe, we made a great team together.
It was good to find such a variety of caches & hides along the way.
Fantastic views from this location. FP given. Our 2 carloads gave a group hug forming a circle of friendship within the inner sanctum.
