Logs
Spent some time looking for this one and then spotted a camouflage bison, opened it up and found the last log was 2022, but the first logs matched. Then looked some more and found the current log in a mint tin. TFTC
Went for a walk with our friend who lives on this road. Beautiful views! Would be a pipedream to live here and have these views every day.

A crazy wet day to be out caching. But I wanted some more finds for this calendar date, and Mrs TW had kindly offered to accompany me. Don't think I have been to this area before. A bit too wet to appreciate the view, but we were grateful for a quick find here. TFTC
Mrs KC and I convoyed our way here, we said how the title reminded us of Hunt for the Wilderpeople and then after reading the description we realised we were right. Great little spot for a cache. Thanks for bringing us here.
Finally back here to put a Smiley on the map instead of a Frowney. And... you've got to be ******* Joking. Talk about a case of "Over Thinking It". Once again I ****** about with my interpretation of where I was supposed to got, then I had a glimpse of what I thought might be the cache. Its a good job there was no one else anywhere near as the air was BLUE.....You ******* **** **** . Just managed to hit a new low in terms of Senior Moments.... Still... could only get better from here...right...Well..NO. Strolled the 10 m back to little Aprill, and turned key, squeezed brake, pressed starter, and you guessed it....**** *** .
30 mins .... and numerous, bright ideas later, it occurred to me that it might be a similar...or exactly the same, problem I'd encountered a few years ago......and it was.... fortunately, I had the where withal i.e. screwdriver and sharp knife, to fix problem and so get mobile... Once again, I blame the CO for all these problems.....nah.... ... thanks for an interesting, and sunny interlude...cheers Roger (V)

#10,709. I had just collected Infoferret from the airport and we had dropped off her bags in Green Bay. It was late in the day but decided to do a few caches around Titirangi. This was one of them. IF made a quick find of this one. Just as well as I was peering down the cliff thinking surely rusty is not expecting us to clamber under that tree on the clifftop (spoiler alert - don't go climbing around trees and cliffs). Signed the logbook and replaced the container where found. Thanks rustynz for hiding the cache here.
Now that we can find caches, today was devoted to some maintenance. This one I can confirm was gone, so I have replaced it with a small vial covered in camo tape.
Majestical view, and a dog muggled me as I was putting the cache in place.
Cache in place, a Happy level caching day everyone

Due to level4 lockdown for covid19 I have not been able to check on this cache.
I suspect it is missing as its meant to be an easy find.
When we get back to level2 I will visit and replace.
Be safe, be kind, happy caching

My partner and I read the comments for further hints. The descriptions seemed to have applied once upon a time but after searching for some time, we couldn’t find it. Maybe we’ve missed something but the hint didn’t make sense. Natural cover? Hmm…
Hadn't been down this way for ages and had high hopes after a frustrating Mud Spattered half hour further along the coast. GPS tried to send me 50m over the edge of the bank, and no matter where I searched I couldn't find any kind of Post as the hint alluded to. All in all a frustrating couple of hours in the drizzle in Titirangi. Still did find a nice café for a bit of lunch on my way home...cheers Roger (V).
First geocache ever, this is the start of a journey finding them all - well most of them. Loved the experience of finding it!
We walked up from French bay and search for a bit and it was a simple find and was quite fun to search for
It has amazed me too, that this cache has not moved in the 2 years . A extra piece of waterproof log paper added, and I have covered the bison with camo tape. It is still nestled beside the pole, under some tall grass.
A majestical place to visit today

Found out in the open exposed. Not sure if this will last as there's no cover left around hint item.Tftc
No luck. Bit too slippery under foot to explore extensively. Great spot and will be back.
Found while on a trip north with tmann421.
Enjoying discovering the areas and finding some caches.

My initial look didn't spot anything, but then I spotted a silver bison about 2m away completely out in the open. Relieved to find a logbook inside and then rehid according to the clue. Really worry about the longevity of this one though.

Made this quick grab to keep my streak going!
Thanks for the cache!
It was really sitting out and open, so I hid it better.

Met up with TheWonderStuff this morning to go caching out West and add a few more gemstones to our collections and try and unlock the vault. Had no trouble locating the cache, but loads of difficulty opening it, with an injured thumb. Handed it over to TWS and he had no trouble - turned out I was trying to open it wrong!
Found it as per hint. Very exposed. Re-hide with bit natural camo. All good here. Thanks!
I see why now I am back here, I knew this territory was familiar but not until I parked up! Yes, I have been here, in another life (but not in another life form...) it seems so long ago! Nice view too.
Just getting a few caches today towards my 7000th cache coming up. The C.O knows all about this, she has one coming up too! Cheers rusty.

First cache of the year and a nice link to the last cache of the year for me. Been out here at least once from memory so nice to come out again after brunch in Titirangi with TheMexikiwi and a quick find was had here before heading off.
Always a nice spot - TFTC

I'd just finished my morning cuppa when I noticed this new cache pop up. As I'm currently living only 5 mins from the Jags who live 5 mins from the cache I grabbed a pen and keys and raced out the door picking up Mrs Jag up on the way. Having found the previous cache here it was a nice easy find for a joint {FTF} at 9.20am
We were just discussing which cache we would find today to fulfill our dot calendar when this was released. Nek minit Merlot messages to say she is on her way to collect MrsJAG for this nearby newly released cache. We knew exactly where the cache would be as have found a cache here before. Parked very close to GZ and were happy to find a blank log, so signed in for a joint {FTF} with Merlot58. Stopped to check the views before departing. TFTC
Within reach for a FTF chance we headed out quickly, but a few wrong turns had us behind the locals. Met up with FMZ at GZ for a quick chat before heading home to finish breakfast. Thanks
Great excuse to head over this way and find a few caches to help me towards my 1000 cache goal for the year. Nice spot. TFTC
