An amazing part of Burra’s history.
If only these could talk and tell us the history.
It's great to be able to travel and see so many quaint little country towns.
As we meander down towards GeoVenture 2020 (in 2021), Millicent, we stopped to put a smiley here.
It's wonderful to explore SA through the eyes of a Geocacher,
especially when it takes us to such interesting places.
We found your cache and with signing duties done and dusted,
we replace the cache as found.
Thanks for sharing this interesting historical location.

What a beautiful all jail well worth a visit thank you for bringing us here…..Don’t forget to get a key at the information centre so you can enjoy all the sites of Burra
It was school holidays and I needed a break from school and chores and needed to just have some fun. I talked sir_spectre into joining me for a weekend away caching near Clare and Burra. We avoided the big towns and focused on the caches we normally drive past on the way to somewhere else. Any caches that needed some attention got it.
Thanks to Davidwazza from mogni

quick find. slowly clearing out burra. Walking to gz with mogni, saw us followed by some one. That someone was another cacher. After talking to them for 10 mins or so we parted ways and found a few more caches.
found with Mogni. Headed out in the general direction of clare and planned to clean out clare before the June Long Weekend End Event in 2022. As usual there was ALOT of caches found before then and only a couple of caches where found in clare before staying in Farrel Flat for the night. The next day was cleaning out Burra and slowly making our way home. Damn doing multi's takes so long, since the final has a habit of not being in the direction you are planning to go next. All caches that where found that were brittle or damaged were replaced and logs found wet where replaced, except for nano's. Nano's are evil spawn and you can do your own maintanence on them.

I was staying at World's End camping ground for a few days with some muggle friends before we headed to Broken Hill. Today we were going for a drive into Burra and we stopped for a few caches on our travels. [^]
I have been to Burra numerous times, but well before I started caching, so it was an interesting exercise visiting familiar places again to find the caches hidden in some of those places.
Thanks for the cache Daviswazza.
