It was a sad day in my household when Richmond defeated the Crows and won the premiership!Im here for my third year of volunteering with the Green Team, running Schoolies this weekend and of course any trip away from home would be incomplete without collecting as many caches as possible!I laughed when I found this one as Id waked right past it a couple of times!The log was full so I replaced it. There wasnt room for both so I have the old one. Will send the CO a photo and if they would like it back that can most likely be arranged.

After over seven weeks on the road, I'm back home and finally catching up on all my logging.Caching in South Australia was fantastic, so many good hides to find, and we found ourselves zigzagging all over the place doing lots of geoart but of course ran out of time to get everything done on our to-do list.The majority of caches we found were in great condition and well maintained, which is a credit to all the CO's who placed them, so thank you.Our logs were mostly signed as 6 for QLD to save room on the log sheets, and no doubt, we'll be back again in the future ??

4.51pmIn Adelaide to attend the Great Leap Forward event from Qld with geofriends and having a great time.Today we headed to Victor Harbor and Goolwa to find caches on our must do list.Back in Adelaide and still caching around the suburbs, we stopped to grab a few caches while here.Lovely area and here we made a quick find. After very recent abdominal surgery we were hoping to make a start on the latest Signal Labyrinth souvenirs.

We decided to head for this series of caches but were very picky where we stopped to ensure not too much stretching or scrambling was required

This weekend we headed south to the fleurieu peninsula for a camping night away and to also attend a CITO at Victor Harbour plus find a few caches along the way, total of 70 for the trip and a nice 2 days away.

Time for another road trip to unwind! Owl gathered JJ52 and took off. The rain was thinking about starting but they managed to avoid it and did a big circuit of the south to collect stray caches that appeared on the map, including some of those 'one day' caches. This was one sitting on the side of the road begging Owl to find it. So she did.

7years of full time travelling and we have only been to Victor Harbor once when we were staying in Kuitpo Forest in 2014. Time for a longer stay this year. Yesterday we were riding about on the train.

Just a day at the van today so we ducked out to find a few caches before lunch today.

The team headed off to Adelaide for a wedding for a couple of weeks in the caravan, exploring Victorian and South Australian country side, with many campsites to stay at, and many more caches to find along the way. Thanks so much to the CO's maintaining these for us to explore.

Whitepaws9 and I spend a day at Victor Harbour. We did two Adventure Labs. Unfortunately, one of three Adventure Labs was closed on Granite Island. After Adventure Labs, we did find some caches there.

Not being real footy fans but it would have been nice to see Adelaide win, funny how much happy work places are when Adelaide or Port Power have a win, yea South Australia is definitely a footy state. Although Richmond hadnt had a premiership for almost 40 years so we suppose we cant begrudge them a hard years work being rewarded.
The Tigers sealed their 11th flag – and first since 1980 – with a run of seven unanswered goals from early in the second quarter that had the Crows staggering on the ropes just 10 minutes into the third term. Richmond led by 28 points at that stage, having kept the Crows goalless for a quarter and a half. There you have it ...... the Tigers deserved to win.

I was finally child free for a couple of hours so I thought I would tackle the AFL Premiers caches. The weather was a bit iffy today with the odd shower and wind gush. There wasnt as many cars about today being so cold and wet so it worked out well for me.

This one was a quick easy find, I forgot to bring my tweezers so I will come back to sign the log.

Today my target was to hit my next big milestone. I also wanted to get 10 Freddo caches, I am attempting to get to 350 Freddo finds by the end of the year. I think I got 8 in the end, 10 was a bit too ambitious given all the other things that needed to be done today. My list tells me I still have 360 odd to find so a long way off ever being anything near Freddovarna.
I did however make it to 9000 caches and had a nice day out. Saw lots of wildlife including a ginormous bull. The weather was a bit weird but definitely much better than yesterday.
Managed to make my on time arrival at Marion shopping centre at 3.30pm if only I had all the day light hours for caching....
So once the Freddo business was out of the way (this took up most of my caching allowance) I headed to Mogni territory, I think I hit 100 Mogni finds today.
It was good to pick up the rest of the AFL Premiers series today. Several were missing last time I did them, some I couldn't find, some had been archived. Today all were found relatively quickly in excellent condition. Liked the tape jobs! TFTC mogni

Yes I did, with Anymules and sometimes Muff1 and later mogni. Luckily no car problems and quite a few caches found.

First order of business was to go back and get all the replaced or new additions to the AFL premiers series. After a great year for the Crows the Extended VFL decided to give home ground advantage to these guys for the finals. No surprises who won then. I resisted my urges and just found and replaced the cache.

Neither hubby or myself follow AFL so unfortunately none of the colours have any meaning for us. But we did get to see some great views from some of the caches. Some were a little hard to find and some really easy. Some you needed to work out how to access the cache container others were 'just there'. SL TFTC

With spot on coords and the hint there was only one place this could be. Took longer to get the log back in than find it.

As it was forecast to be very hot at home I decided to go for a drive down to Victor Harbor to find mogni's new caches and a few others that I happened to drive past. [^]

Kept bumping into CPwanderer, clare007 and Gizmos Gang and met up with them and Mogni for lunch before continuing on.

Had a good day and found all the caches I looked for and really enjoyed the air conditioned car between caches.

It was a case of deja vu having completed all of this series not long after it was first published. It is good to see the series revived again. [^]
