Great find, had to find a spot to cross the fence, there was one not too far from where we parked. Thanks my 4 year old loved the choice of swaps
Logging late, forgot about the Dinosaur Stomp that we found yesterday. Pretty sure most boys were in to dinosaurs Tftc 4Moule
Another pleasant stop at a location I would never have visited. Seeing the tracks on the otherside of the lake, I was very tempted to take the old Rodeo for a bog lap or 2. But in the not so dry weather thought it'd be a not so wise move. Plenty of Dinosaurs to be found here. Cheers for the cache.
Our first full day in Mildura and after a quite cool night some beautiful Autumn weather has been really turned on. Blue skies and warm sunshine. We are staying a bit out of town but with quite a number of well-favourited caches nearby in the bushland and a variety of types we thought we would head out amongst them and try our luck. They were located along a range of bush tracks amongst the scrub so while dusty, fun to drive. Sadly no emus of kangaroos were spotted today to add to the fun.It truly was a great day caching with a fun range of gadget caches added into the mix. We awarded quite a few favourites to celebrate them, especially as we managed to solve them all.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache TheMoules.**SKI Pair****
**Apologies for the late logging. For those who know me, know I am trying hard to catch up and not draft so many logs and leave them for so long again. Its already June 2024 and Im still catching up. ?????Tankengine, Youban and I were part of the MMA Team from Canberra over the couple of days in Mildura. We had a lot of fun with our friends and found some great caches. Most caches were in good condition and some seemed to have been moved from their original hiding spot and/or nibbled on (probably by animals as we found them laying in the open with the log in one direction and the container in another and the eaten ones we could see they were teeth marks). The roads were mainly clear and wide and although there had been some rain, the conditions were all ok.This cache: made this trickier to get to than needed. It was fun to get to though and the empty lake was interesting. Tftc!!!
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 youban Kittykatch Joolay NRC GLISS Barb2e Albida on our mini Mildura invasion! Signed MMA - Mildura May Adventurers! Thanks TheMoules!
Day 2 of the Mildura Adventure and we are collecting the rest of the Paddlesteamer geoart plus some interesting caches with lots of favourite points around the area. Caches signed as MMA or MMA23 for Mildura May Adventure. Tftc
Well that was a bit hectic. Took the wrong track but made it.
Day 4 of our Mildura Madness run and the gang is all here ??. Really looking forward to looking around. Signing as MMA23 or MMA. (Mildura May Adventures)

Southern Autumn adventure Day 54. Mildura Paddle Steamer Trip Day 3. After a huge day, the MAA team (Mildura Autumn Attack and we consisted of Nibletricecakes, Gliss!, Joolay, Kitty Katch, Barb2e, Tankengine, dty73, Youban and Albida33) headed back to the Paddle Steamer to finish the last bit. It did not take too long, and the whole series has been a joy of accurate and present caches. The next goal was the various Gadget caches rear Red Cliffs and then by the Gliding field. The day was completed with an all out effort to get to all the Turtle caches. Plenty of drive bys, but a few fun walks on muddy flats. This was another great series. A few of us gathered for take away dinner and retired for what rest could be achieved before tomorrows activities.
Thanks for the cache TheMoules

Found while on a fabulous weekend away to Mildura to complete the Paddlesteamer & Turtle geoarts, and various trads, multis + gadget caches. The Canberra crew included Nibletricecakes, joolay, kittykatch, youban, dty73, tankengine, barb2e, Klsarc & albida33. We signed as Mildura May Adventures 23 (MMA or MMA23). Unless otherwise mentioned, all caches were quickly found. TFTC.
Today was our second day adventuring together in the district. Out to tackle the Paddlesteamer and as many other amazing caches as we can with a lovely bunch of Canberra friends! Always fantastic to be able to get away for a long weekend of caching together. Loved the red dust and the crazy caching trails. Thanks for all the hard work from COs make and maintain these caches. Called our trip the Mildura May Adventure so signed as MMA or MMA23 today. Great to be caching with you KLSARC, GLISS! Albida33, Kittykatch, Barb2e, Joolay, Tankengine, DTY73 and youban. Thanks for a great weekend everyone. Thanks for the cache.
Headed out for a weekend afternoon of caching with the fam. Made a solo from where we parked to find for this one, taking the container back to the air-conditioned car for the geokids to make their selections before replacing at GZ.
Spiders are the theme of the caches today- having found one on or near all of the caches we’ve found so far!
Kids are now very happily playing dinosaurs on the way to the next one.
TFTC TheMoules, excellent choice of theme for this one!

Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure, yes I know we have wandered over the border. Never mind, it is a wonderful day and we have joined forces with FelixII so we are off to see what we can find. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.
Day 4 of my 5 day Geocaching long weekend away. This would be Find Number 25 of 31 for the day.
Always time for a few more finds before heading off. Think I took the long way to get here but got here in the end.

Started the day over coffee ️ with Mrs 4Moule and her mini-me I have decided that any day it’s not blowing a gale is a good day in these parts to do outdoorsy stuff. So toddled over here to sort out the go-go gadget caches and explore the landscape. This trail and was great value Ended the day hosing down Star the geocar A few smileys = a happy geocacher.
Wasn’t expecting to see a salt lake here. Had to stop for photos and there are also lots of billy buttons growing in the red dirt. Well out of the way and surprised to eventually motor to GZ. Cache is in VGC, as are all of yours

Certainly a out of the way place we headed out to this afternoon and we worked our way along the dirt tracks until we found our way here. We were greeted with a great sized hide in this remote area, luckily for us there were no velociraptors lurking about but to be sure we quickly added our names and headed back to the safety of the car. Thanks 4Moule for the hide and for bringing us here.
This one was perfect for our Geoson, whom said to us today “ I wonder if there is a Dinosaur one” and to our surprise we found this one. TFTC
Slowly catching up with my logging... Found while away caching with "The Mob" which consisted of GoodLook, The Drovers, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild & myself.
Your cache was found after we had completed the PS series.
In keeping with the dino theme (TNLN) I'm eating dinosaurs jelly confectionery as I post this log

A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA.
With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
After completing the PS series we split up as The Drovers had already done the ones we were about to do.
We still signed the logs as either The Mob or put our initials in the logs.
There were a lot of different kinds of hides here which really good. Nice to have something a little different.
Luckily we were in 4WD's today this took a bit of searching to find the best way in and then still needed to get over a fence to get to it. Quick find once finally at GZ.
Thanks for the placement and maintenance of this cache 4Moule

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
Was day 3 of our trip away and today we were back out to finish off the PS Series with "The Mob" consisting of GoodLook, The Drovers, FurfacesLL, LiB and myself. We managed to get heaps done yesterday so only needed a couple hours out on these today then The Drovers went off to do some caches they had left unfound whilst the rest of us went to do some around Mildura/Red Cliffs that they had already found.
We had a few left on the map in the area and it would have been rude to just leave them so this was the next target. The large salt basin has so many tracks that I think we ended up on the wrong one as we had a fence between us and the cache... oops. Cache obtained in the end, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the hides 4Moule And thanks to "The Mob" for a trip to remember [^].

Happy that I had a 4WD to access this one, yet we still needed to jump a fence.
FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, LíB and myself found a number of caches outside of the Paddle steamer and Turtle Series whilst in the area.
Most of the caches are stamped as The Mob (consisting of The Drovers, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, and myself), however a handful contain our own caching names or initials.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip was spontaneously planned and I was able to pull together a number of my caching friends who hadn't cached together before to form "The Mob".
LíB and I started in SA, drove to Victoria and ended our trip in SA; FurfacesLL and Rapidlywild came from Canberra and The Drovers began their journey from NSW; and then a few days later, feathertop from Victoria, joined us to complete the On Your Bike Series and other caches in SA.
We filled our days with piling in cars, hard core caching, Adventure Labs, crazy funny CB radio chatter, some laughter, some tense moments (OMG some of the ladder and tree climbs on this trip were crazy!), lots of lovely meals and even live music from a band called "Kung Fu Jesus" - nope, that is no joke.
We had hot weather each day (well into 30s), so I am thrilled that I now own a car fridge to keep the drinks icy cold (loving them at about 1 degree celcius).
A sincere thanks to 4Moule for placing this cache.

Stomping is exactly how I got to this hide.
The recommended route took me very close to a private residence so I skipped that and went the back way. With a few options I naturally picked the wrong one and had to frisbee flop over and back again.
My path out was looking ok until I chose the wrong one and ended up hitting the road via the water gangers track.
This was an after dinner find tonight after a successful day at the border chasing the Victorian/nsw border virtual.
Didn’t have anything to add to the themed cache on this occasion.
Hoping to find a few hides tomorrow in between haircuts and swim at Apex park.

Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity.
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

I have seen a T shirt with Sleep Eat Cache Repeat [^] Well a four day trip to Mildura with caching friends Team Waldron, E.gregory and FeatherWaite certainly fit that bill. Logs were signed with initials only for the teams - BEFW
Up at daybreak, quick breakfast and cache all day stopping only to have a snack whilst out on the trails, rush to set up camp near dusk for a meal, then perhaps some night caching, early night and REPEAT!
Strategic camping at Kings Billabong, Rocket lake and The Common meant we were close by the Geoart and target night caches. Two previous trips in 2013 and 2016 by me and some by E.gregory meant we visited some (well quite a few actually) previous finds but that made it quick for the people that hadn't found them previously.
I can't thank the CO's of these caches enough as some were really very inventive. Even having solved most puzzles before we came we were confronted with field puzzles and gadgets that were just mind boggling. [:X][:X][:X]
***Thanks 4Moule for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Brisal5, e.gregory1 and Team Waldron with the main aim to complete the Paddle Steamer and Turtle GeoArt series but also to find other caches along the way. We camped out on the banks of the Murray River near Mildura on the first night, at Rocket Lake campground in the Murray-Sunset National Park on the second night, then back to the banks of the Murray River near Merbein on the last night. We signed the logs as B.E.F.W. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the cache!
Hi there 4Moule.
We found your cache **"Dinosaur Stomp"** at 11:28:00 AM today.
Today we started out from our caravan park and commenced to log caches along a route determined by the "next closest" according to our GPS. This sort of route always gives us a sense of expectation, as we can never really tell where we will end up. We thoroughly enjoyed our cache hunt today. The cache notes told us about a dirt track, but the one we took left us on the wrong side of a fence.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends. Thanks also for placing a large cache container here. It made us feel really glad to find a large, kid friendly cache (with swaps) here.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache roughly where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Thank you 4Moule for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Suscoe was out and about again today wandering the raods, parks and bushland areas to the west, south and south east of MIldura.
We were travelling with Phetlern again and having a good bit of fun as we went along finding a very good range of caches.
It was a fairly cloudy day with a strong wind from the south and the clouds looked like they had a good bit of dust in them at times.
It was good to be caching on a coolish day, the flies seem to have been blown away and the sun peeped through every now and again.
Thanks to 4Moule for this hide, what a great spot to place this cache and how good was the full container of very appropriate SWAG.
Well done.
We were wondering about doing some circle work out on the salt lake but decided to get some more caches instead.

Travelling around Australia, camped on the mighty Murray today we headed out to see where Geocaching would take us. We rushed around trying to beat the rain but it did catch up with us before the day was over. "Fun" drive back to the caravan.

In Mildura for a few events grabbing caches for a few days while in the area. TFTC
[FTF] Well that was more of an adventure than it should have been! Google road maps had us enter via the wrong area which initially had us on the wrong side of the salt lake, and then once I wronged our first mistake then had us 9m from GZ.... on the wrong side of the fence!! After a last ditch attempt to find a cross track we were literally on the right track, on the correct side of the fence. Geoson 4 made the find and proudly claimed a green stamp and and left a trade of appropriate styling.
Thanks for the adventure and the cache 4Moule
