Was wondering why there are 2 caches so close together, until I found this was archived (Undocumented GSAK feature ).
Found it anyway (without trampling the flora ) and apart from some dampness, cache is still in reasonable condition, considering its age.
Took Canadian coins. Left marbles. SL.
Thanks Team Piggy.

Found with Kiwi Explorer and The Wonderstuff from NZ on our Victoria and South Australia caching adventure.
Seems like this one is now gone. It's a shame really as it's a lovely area and there are plenty of places to hide a cache without it being in the water.

Found while on a caching road trip with Konie and The Wonderstuff. Oink oink oink. A tough wee find. we didn't expect to see it just sitting there it took ages to find and we nearly gave up, loved the area. TFTC.
Great cache except everyone's ruining the environment by stepping all over the reeds! TNLN, TFTC logbook getting reeeeeeeally... just read the next log.
Thanks for the cache - great spot, not many people around at the time. We were a little unprepared (did not have a pen), so could not complete the log. The log book was starting to get a little soggy.
This cache has been here a while and today was my turn to find and log it. A few bird watches were passed today on the track around to the cache and the cache was found quite quickly as the coords were good and I searched in the area I thought it would be hidden in.
Thanks Team Piggy. The cache is a bit damp but the logbook is still logable.

Cache is in a lovely park and wetlands area. Muggles continually moving along walking/bike path. Contents of cache quite damp. TNLN TFTC
Managed to dry the cache a bit, would suggest some of the larger items may want to be swapped out as this is possibly aiding in some of the moisture getting in from pressure on the seal.

Three of us looked but did not find.
After reading the logs again maybe we should have looked in wetter areas.

Wow! Beautiful place. I really enjoyed my walk towards the cache. The log book is so soggy. I found it hard to write my name down.
Thanks Team Piggy for the cache.

A pleasant walk with interesting bird life. Not sure if piggy's like mud but the contents are damp. Quick find and a convenient bench nearby to sit and log. TNLNSL TFTC
We had arrived back to our car after completing the other cache in the area, then realised this one was here also. Didn't mind doing part of the walk again as we loved this area. Located the cache without a problem, but contents are very wet, including the log. Put the log in a new plastic bag but it really needs drying out or replacing.

Great day for walking. cache was in need of some care. No pen or pencil, so was unable to log our visit, but will return to make the log, and drop in a pen. Damp inside the cache, log book might need some drying out.
Great cache, nice easy find.

Lovely spot... This cache was very wet. Also the log book wes a bit water loged and needs a new bag - didnt have any on hand to replace it. TFTC
Found this geocache while out on family walk and bike ride. Easy to find and good fun..
Had a good look around the indicated GZ but were not successful – we are blaming the poor satloc, but really didn’t want to get our feet wet!
Thanks anyway Team Piggy for bringing us to this delightful area – it was good to see some water actually flowing along the stream and as a bonus we also saw a couple of blue wrens.

Oink Oink Had my lunch by the waters edge then a short walk to get my feet wet, as is the cache. Log book bag had a hole in it but sorry didn't have a spare with me (the boss always thinks of such things but was there with a work mate today).
Took something and left something else but no idea what.
Anyway a lovely spot, Thanks.

Found the cache at 3pm. Accompanied with Joan. She found it before me!!! We enjoyed walk around the Laratinga Wetland. No swap. SL. Thanks Team Piggy for organising the cache and hunt.

I will confirm this cache is getting quite moist. Not surprising given its location. Perhaps a move to higher ground is in order?? TNLN SL.

MrMadMyers did not get muddy or wet in getting the cache. But we agree with the earlier finders - the cache container needs to be replaced. It is leaking and it is all getting wet!!! Great spot - replace the cache and put it up a little bit higher???? Out of the wet??? Thanks anyway.
Also stumbled across this very wet cache... Great location - we will be back! Took Bubbles - Left Basketball (shouldn't matter if it gets wet...). TFTC.
Found by Mr matmob feeling around with his foot! As others have said, the cache is quite wet. There was a roller bandage in the cache which we used to try and dry the container out a bit. Other than that, TNLN. We enjoyed the walk, a very pleasant spot. We thought we could just continue around and end up back at the car........WRONG!! Mr m decided to wade through some mud for a shorter way, Mrs m and geokid opted to return the way we came. Saw a beautiful superb blue wren. TFTC
The cache it needs to be relocated as it is right next to the water and it needs a clean out everythig is wet and logbook is full.
This was a very nice walk.Lots of people were here and the carpark was full. They have set up this place really good with tracks, toilets, shelters and bbq's.

found with muggles that will soon be cachers... cache in desperate need of help/maintainance/archiving. its terribly wet, the container is too old to cope I think. anyway its there!
first cache ive done not as a muggle couldnt find it . I reckon it might be underwater.!
I searched and searched but couldn't find it.I think it's submerged underwater somewhere!
We couldn't find it, but I admit I was little unwilling to get wet or muddy (I know where a lot of this water comes from!!) Will come back when the tides out.
On a ride around the Barker this morning. I ducked into find this cache and soon quacked it open
Got muddy too, I did. Thanks to the recent rains

Checked this out while walking the Geo_Mut. Cache is still in its little hiding spot.
While I was there I checked the co-ord on my new GPS. Had me within 3m of GZ.

The lack of water has caused lots of cache hidey holes to appear. Probably a lot more than was originally here..
We spent 30 minutes looking where we were pretty sure it would be, on the muddy side as well. When we left we had it looked pretty well gone over but no cache was to found. Will return with some hedge clippers for some plant adjustment..
Did find 2 yabbie holes though!

Ahh, Wetlands... My Nemisis.
I returned today with renewed vigor. On my walk around the paths I had time to reflect on my previous visits.
[ fade to thinking bubble ]
My first visit was on my first day of solo caching, after a good hunt and soggy shoes there was no success. As I walked back to the car sloshing in my shoes, I put it down to lack of experiance.
My second visit. This time I am serious about caching. Its time to bag some of these babies. I headed out with my list of targets for the day, headed here first, I knew the terrian, it was going to be a quick pickup and off to the rest. It wasn't long before I was sulking back to the car, nursing cut and bleeding hands. And no cache to be found. Headed off to my next target after tending to the dripping blood. "Thats it I'm not going back !!"
On my Third visit I awoke early in the morning, I heard that Nemisis taunting me from 2Km up the road. I packed the gardening gloves into the geo bag and off I set. This was a high muggle morning. The GPS was all over the place, after a good 20min hunt, my Nemisis had beaten me yet again.
After logging visit 3 I soon recieved a text from DS-Fifty. "Meet me at GZ"
This is it I thought, now finally I was going to get this off my list. I meet DS-Fifty and the hunt was on. Noooo !!!!, he can't even find it. What is it with this cache ??
Thats it I thought I am going to ignore this one.
Now three weeks later Nursesmith pops up with the taunts. "found easily" was it? thats it !!
[ fade back to Geo_Stik walking on path ]
So now I am determined, I am not leaving here without a find !!
Whats that ??
I can hear the cache still taunting me from its hiding place, the GPS is all over the place, No its not going to beat me. Wait !! there it is I can feel it !! NO!! muggles with their muggle dog have decided to rest on a nearby bench... So Close !! dare I risk it..... No, control yourself... just wait..... As the muggles moved off I logged my visit, left grouch took superball.
Thanks Nursesmith for renewing my interest.
(sorry for the essay)

Was riding around the wetlands today with a friend and decided to show him the joys of geocaching. Didn't have a GPS, but found it easily and took TB Nibblers nature trek on his chain. LNSL
Geo Stik, I think you are looking in the wrong spot.
PS The cache needs a new log book - its soggy and busting at the seams!

Went back today to help put Geo_Stik out of his misery. It certainly wasn't in the hidey hole where I found it. In fact the hidey hole itself is gone! There seems to have been some work around the water, poisoning weeds & cutting back etc.etc.
It needs a look at I think.
It needs a look at I think.
This was my third attempt at this cache, turning into a nemesis. Is it actually still there ? No finds for a couple of months.
I'm surprised this one wasn't more wet than it was. Took Willy Worm TB LNSL. TFTC.
Took a little hunting to find, but all was good in the end.
Left TB: Nibblers nature trek, well, just the tag and chain that is.

Muggles on bikes while finding this one. Shoes got wet and rain started The log book needs changing as it is a bit soggy. TNLN
The only question is, which one of these soggy bunches of grass are you hiding under. Could it be the wettest and muddiest. No swaps today. Never new Mt Barker was so nice.
Found today, almost floating away!

At Last. We've been here several times. But either due to muggles or poor eye sight, we've never found the damn thing. Success today. Had to do a couple of laps of the water until yet another muggle vacated the very nearby seat.

My very first cache!!! Got covered in mud and loved it!!!(finally decided to log find as an official cacher.)
Took a sunday afternoon walk with little sis. Found reasonably easily with no GPS!!! Had to dodge muggle walkers and their dogs!! TNLNSL (log is full and very damp, probably needs replacing)
Found by me (Kieranfunkle)! went searching in the dark, interesting experience! TNLbouncyball. Great fun. well hidden team piggy!
My first find as a solo cacher with 2 of my brothers; one "muggle" and the other a new cacher, kieranfunkle. The reeds are a bit nasty, but good hide! TNLN Thanks team Piggy

Great hide. The next hunter will need to check for size 12 footprints in the mud! Took keyring and left a periscope! SL TFTC
Well, my first cache, went to GZ after navigating around the pathways. Looked but did not find, too many muggles will return another day.
Took Grandma muggle for her first geo experience but couldn't find it again...and I have the scars to prove it. The reeds are fairly sharp and frustration got the better of me. The 4 munchkin geo's weren't much help either. Hopefully round 3 will be more fruitful...
Got this on our 2nd attempt too (like most other cachers seem to) First time was after a deluge last winter and the tide was in so to speak. Much better this time of year. There were slugs on the bottom of the container that Mrs Klem didn't know about until she rested it on her jeans Yuk! Took nothing but left a klem bear and a donald duck fridge magnet to join the other aquatic/wetland creatures in the cache. Another nemesis laid to rest. Thanks Team Piggy.
My second attempt, my first success. It is easy when you see it. Grabbed mushroom TB.
Thanks piggy
Thanks piggy
Returned to have another go at this one. In luck today. One thing our team does show is perseverance! Don't know why we didn't find it last time. Stanleys
GPS was pointing over the fence 7 metres, knew that was wrong, it was day light when we walked into the park, but the sun sets very quick in this part of town. So with no torch, and GPS telling fibs, we'll be back in an earlier time of day.
Cheers from The Barramundi's

Found the cache easily. It's a great spot - quite different to when you placed it. Have been walking & riding around here for years, but didn't have a GPS then.
Thanks piggy.
Thanks piggy.
Coords were spot on . Dropped off TB H Mushroom, had planned to take him to another cache but the cache was to small so this looked like a nice place. TNSL thanks team piggy
We can't see any problem either, it is right there!!
A great day for a walk in a wetland!

What's been everybody's problem . It was exactly where the GPSr said it was. TNLNSL TFTC.
What made us think we could find it when the previous 4 couldn't? Looked and looked assisted by 2 gps's to no avail. Great wetlands but no sign of the cache.

TRied to beat the incoming rain but failed to do so...Got drenched looking for this one but come up empty handed..but got shoes nice and wet from the close proximety to the water!!!will try next time im back here , lovely place though
If I weren't feeling the heat and I might have enjoyed the walk more and had a clearer head for the search. I don't know if the hint is a real one or just a funny comment but I got my feet wet in any case.
I looked, I've got the cut-grass cut to prove it! My second DNF in a row so I'm starting to doubt the satellites. I'll return another day.
Dont worry. I tried to find it aswell. Could not find the darn thing either. Oh well.. I might see you in the bushes next time I look for it. [:o)]
Ms Parrothead and myself enjoyed the walk around this park.

Tricky Sat-loc led us to walk around in circles many times, until the youngest and the shortest found it. Found 15:40. TNLN.
First time I ever saw ducks sitting up high in big gumtrees. They must have build a platform up there. The frogs were noisy and invisible. So was the cache at first. We added a tiny ball to the contents.
Oink, oink piggy.
Oink, oink piggy.
Found on a nice sunny day for a walk around the wetlands. We've passed this site before on bikes but assumed we wouldn't be able to get the road bikes to GZ - we probably could have! TNLNSL.
What a great spot. Found relatively easily during a very pleasant walk that coincided with some beautiful weather for the short time we were there. Made no swaps but enjoyed the frog serenade while doing the log thing. Had occasion to use the facilities there. They must be brand new and quite a flash affair they are, too . I marvelled at the prolific use of dressed Jarrah and the fresh timber smell [^] . Thanks for a very pleasant experience, all round Piggy
Found this afternoon after a lovely walk. Never even knew this wetlands existed. Beautiful area and will have to come back for a BBQ. GPS jumped all over for a while so i just looked in around and found after 10-15 mins.
A few muggles about enjoying the sunshine. GPS couldn't make up it's mind which direction the cache was. Found cache after a short search in the most obvious areas. Took turtle, left shark. Thanks Piggy.
Second attempt is a charm! This one has been driving me crazy! Finally one friday morning at work a kid from youth group drops in who needs some "quality time" so I took him for a walk in the wetlands... (better than trying to talk in an office). cache was wet and mouldy inside. took out and discarded mouldy frog and film canister... dried off the rest! The page explaining what it is is very very wet... hey team piggy if you want me to replace that it would not be a problem, I'll do it in the next few days, just let me know! TN (except aweful mouldy things) LNSL. Confused as to what archived means since people are still finding this even when being archived... Took my TB "the fisherman" to visit as this water might have redfin in it (certainly nearby there are redfin!)
Found after a brief search following a walk around the wetlands. Took Tictacs, left a winged monster toy. Cheers!
Cant believe it... its still there??? fantastic... looking forward to doing this one when it goes on line...
Well ... we don't know what happened here, but today we found it! And it was suprisingly easy to find! Perhaps it has been moved by a muggle? Yet, the Co-ords were spot on??! [?] Anyway, the "tide" was really high today ... almost lapping at the side of the cache. We've hidden it in a slightly more secluded position, as it was clearly visible from the path when we found it (i would've tripped over it, if I hadn't been too busy scouring the area!)
TeamPiggy, if you have any questions about re-enabling this one, don't hesitate to drop us an email ...
Oh, and no swaps by the way ...
Thanks!

Dont know what we did wrong... but looked seemingly everywhere!!! our first failure!
[:d] Our very first cache and did'nt Mrs Fossicker enjoy herself after all. The wetlands are a regular walking spot for the family, and its amazing to think these little treasures lay right under your nose (Since 2002), its a credit to all the geocachers out there that are so very careful with replacing the cache.
Some damage is occuring here, so please tread lightly.
The pink wellingtons strike for the first time ! May there be many more.
Thanks for an enjoyable find ! These award winning wetlands are truly spectacular.

Firstly, found myself on the wrong side !!!
Then after getting on the right side, spent a good 20 mins poking with a big stick, stomping & slushing around with (wet) shoes, and finally saw it.

Our 10th and final cache for a very successful day out. Hmmm.... a Piggy cache. Must be quite difficult. Seems like other people had trouble with this as well. We slowly made our way around to GZ and one of us started looking while the other kept an eye out for muggles. Searched and searched and as we were about to swap around, there it was. Thanks for another great location Piggy. Found by Dave and Terry. Took nothing and left nothing. Cheers.
Difficult find, cache was among some very sharp razor like reeds [B)]. Would recommend gloves for future seekers .
Also, in this area frogs=snakes ! Beware, long trousers and sturdy shoes recommended .
Container was in good condition and dry inside. There was a pack of orange Tic Tacs whose contents were a little damp: wouldn't recommend eating these [xx(] [xx(](considering where the water comes from around here).
Took blue bracelet, left a "popping" turtle.
Great cache, great spot.

Didnt see any pigs, but was a bit worried about the long legless lizards in the grass! Left an aproptiate poking stick leaning against a tree by a nearby resting spot. It worked well for me.
Took a coffee magnet & left a night vision frog to light peoples way who visit in the dark. Cheers
