Finally in Horsham after leaving Adelaide this morning. Easy find with CatCasper. TFTC!
Thankfully, I found this cache relatively quickly as the road was very busy. Signed the log and returned as found.
Yeeha! The Wild West is calling and Snips and Co and I are traversing along the Southern and Western Victorian borders.Welcome to town signs are a good way to see the character of the area.. sadly no cache found here to day though
Makeing my way back to the border, slowly getting caches on the way. This one was quickly found on my way out. TFTC
Motorhoming around in winter and finding a cache here and there. Easy find on a very cold day. TFTC

Horsham we are here! On a multi mission with weirdobiker after the Lameroo Ludicrous Leg Warmers events in SA and now heading back east via a through different LGA's. Its been great exploring the country out west with plenty of highlights to remember. TFTC and the lure.
After being in Lameroo for the annual JLWE event this year with an 80s theme, we are slowly making our way homeOut and about with Ronice88 today to pick up caches here, there and everywhere.Quick find at the entrance to Horsham
It was the final day of my slowly caching my way home to Adelaide from Bacchus Marsh; with the plan to find a few caches along the way before making the final stretch home. Having picked up a couple of caches on the way out of Horsham, the majority of my time was spent between the Dimboola area and Kaniva. With a decent number of caches put out in, and around, Dimboola since I was last in the area, it was nice to make a dent in finding them. When it got late in the day, and I had found all the caches that I was after, I put the GPS away and made my way home. Apologies for the generic log as I have plenty to write from my trip away.Find #9826, at 10:07 amTFTC
Heading towards Horsham today not sure where I am staying. Last time in this area would have been 30 years ago and by bus
Adelaide Leap Day trip. Day 12.and Tasmania Trip Day 1. The next phase of my journey begins today as I head across towards Geelong to catch the ferry to Tasmania tomorrow night. Apart from one DNF from my last trip I did not stop till some of the new counties in Victoria. I had a big plan for the day but cut it short as the pub I selected to stay in was so relaxing, I could not get out again. I did not see any signs of the fires, so that was good, but it was a long drive and I left my lunch board at the first cache in Victoria. Oh well. A great night in the pub, doing logs in the front bar and a nice lamb cutlet dinner. With cars rushing past, I stopped here for a look at th entrance sign and was rewarded with a quick cache find. Thanks for the cache Duntulum45763.3 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2021 Wangaratta Event engraved A#469**Albida**
Find 4627 on February 28, 2024Day#2 on Fergzters roadtrip to the Great Leap Forward Mega Event in Adelaide. Today's stretch was from Taylor's lake near Horsham towards Adelaide. Nice quick grab on the way out of town. All is well with the cache. TFTC duntulum
#19193 - 9:49:55 AM; Day two of "The Great Leap Forward" road trip. A last minute change of plans due to my usual partner in crime becoming unavailable saw me heading off in the geomobile and not by air as previously arranged. After a night in Beaufort, I continued the journey west through Ararat, Great Western, Stawell, Dadswells Bridge, Horsham, Dimboola, Nhill and Kaniva, where I was joined by feathertop, before crossing the border into South Australia. It was then on to Bordertown, Keith and Murray Bridge, before returning to Tailem Bend and the accommodation followed an event to wrap up the daily mission. All caches were found in good condition and returned as found once the log was signed. No problems here. TFTC duntulum
I headed out of Horsham along the highway,so that I could be welcomed back by this spotand find the cache A pleasantly easy find .... ta !!

From Sunday 16 April 2023 to Sunday 23 April 2023, I and J plus the little one spent 8 days in the school holiday trip to the State of Victoria. We visited the Melbourne, Phillip Island, Great Ocean Road, etc. We planned to find some caches on the way, including traditional cache, multi-cache, mystery cache, virtual cache, Wherigo cache, EarthCache, Adventure Lab cache, and we found over 60 caches for this trip. We enjoyed the holiday!
This cache was the second find on Day 1. It was found on our way to the MacKenzie Falls.
A quick park and grab cache. Found the cache easily.
Signed the log, and put it back.
Took a photo before I left. See attachment.
Thanks for the cache, duntulum. Greetings from Adelaide, South Australia.

Stopped to get a cache or five in a new LGA. quick find.
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

In my quest to find enough caches in each LGA to qualify for one of the Whittlesea challenge caches, I made a short detour to this one to make the find.
A quick stop here and I was on my way.

A quick find and then I headed to my motel for tonight. Cache and log are as in new condition. Always great when someone rates a mintie tin correctly. TFTC Duntulum.
Love these caches that only need a couple of steps to find, which we did. Thanks duntulum
A quick find on our way from Murray Bridge back to Creswick today with feathertop at the wheel, thanks for placing it here.
I was heading to Horsham to pick up my Daughters car that was being repaired after she had a run in with a Kangaroo a few weeks ago. After collecting her car and getting it back to the Motel I had some time to cache before finding some dinner.
As the daylight was fading it was a nice quick find. I had a nice surprise when I was returning the log book I spotted a glimpse of the plastic wrapping that path tags come in and on closer inspection I noticed that there was a pathtag stuck to the magnet. Woo Hoo Bonus
Thank you duntulum for the find

Arrived in Horsham yesterday late afternoon after spending 4 days in Swan Reach SA doing the "On Your Bike" series which was full on - so we needed a bit of a rest doing some easier caches and when we looked at the caches that have sprung up around Horsham since we were last here, they were nearly all 1.5/1.5 or less! How good is that we thought. A nice easy "there it is" saunter which will assist with our recuperation. Well that was a big mistake wasn't it [B)]
There were some really clever caches that we absolutely admired and took a while to nut out, there were some fantastic locations - however by no means were most of them correctly rated - especially for the Difficulty part. What happens when one sees a low rated D/T is that you drop your "searching" guard as you expect to see it within a few seconds. So when you don't you think it has been muggled and you are then not sure if you should continue to search - all a big conundrum looming which in the end detracts from the sometimes excellent creations that you eventually find.
This cache took a few minutes to locate which we felt a bit bashfull about given the low D/T rating - "amateurs" DAK would have told us [:o)]
Thanks Duntulum - let's hope we can improve our searching and finding skills

A goods train went past in the dark at speed while I was logging. Quite an experience. Nice new log, thanks!!
In town for a few days and while passing by noticed a couple of trads that were still green and not a smilie looking at me from last time passing by. So found this one a while ago but had forgot to log it, blaming the whole covid thing for not keeping up with my logs. This one was found on dark a while ago while grabbing a few caches out this way on the way back to the farm but still managed to spot it quickly enough, thanks duntulum for the hide.
Been to Dayboro from Cairns to attend the Mega, quick trip to Sth. Australia now turned tail and heading slowly back up north. 4 May 2021 12:18 pm Tyfc duntulum total caches now 2085
