Suscoe was in the South East of S A today. It was great to be in this area again. We found a range of caches today and enjoyed finding them.A bit of sun, a bit of showery weather and lovely green countryside. Thanks to GeocachingSA
We had a surprise couple of days free so we decided to head across the border in an a but unfortunately that was .attempt to find our 10,000th South Australian cache. Happily we achieved that yesterday and today we are doing a few more around the Millicent area before heading to Beachport for the night. We had hoped to be at the Millicent Mega but COV!D 19 put an end to those plans. we even had a permit organized to cross the border revoked four days out. It's now a couple of years later and we are finally finding some of the caches that were put out for the event. and appreciate the effort gone into placing them.We had a great time picking them upMany thanks GeoVenture2020 for these caches.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Millicent for a few days to grab some finds placed for the ill fated Mega 2020. Thanks for the hide. LNCU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are staying at Millicent for the week, finding some of the caches we should have found if we had not been prevented from attending the 2020 Mega by Covid19. Thanks for the cache. LNCU
I am spending a few days in Millicent and my aim for today was to complete finding the SFE Challenge Caches (done and dusted) and to find Regular Caches to qualify for a challenge I am working on. This cache in good condition was a quick find. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache
Nice quick and easy find.
Thanks for the interesting history.
Interesting to hear about the downsizing…. Any wonder the quality of these products have also gone down.

Planned a big day for caching today. This was our first seek and find. Only I struggled to find it first up but then found the prize. TFTC GeoVenture2020.
Found with a team consisting of BecknMonts, McLookers, Maccamob, Rabbitto, and Muzza. The day turned out to be better than expected and the caching was good too. Many thanks to the CO's for the placements.
Over in SA again with a cut down group of geocaches compared to last time. We felt it was time this group of Victorians found some Millicent caches, as we were banned from the mega! We are signing the logs as Vic1. Thanks for the sometimes challenging caches GeoVenture2020!
We found this cache today on our Millicent Meander - Day 1 in company of Maccamob, BecknMonts, McLookers, Alansee, and Muzza. A few on the western environs of Millicent. Thanks from D & HA B-A

It's now school holidays!! Woohoo!! 2 days ago me and my dad set off for the long weekend to attend the GeoVenture2020 mega event! We drove from Willunga and it took us about 5 and a half hours (including 30 caches on the way ) to reach Millicent. Yesterday was the day of the mega! I got my pathtags ready and my self ready to talk
This was my first mega. Today was the third day in Millicent. Me, my dad and James0116 set off to complete the trail A before going to Penola to attend 2 events. I spent 60 bucks at GeoStuff also, I got some geocoins!
Thank you for maintaining and placing this cache!
We really appreciate your effort!

Taking a bit of a wander around Tantanoola this afternoon with ilook4geo, despite it being very cold with a strong, blustery wind. Found enough caches to keep us happy and each log was stamped with both names before being put back as it had been found.
Thanks go to GeoVenture2020 for placing this cache.

Caching around Tantanoola but not really enjoying the cold, windy day. Did enjoy the caches found, signed the logs and replaced as found. Haven't found caches in this area before. TFTC.
Today is our tird day exploring the geoart and many other caches as we wander around the area. Again, a good variety of hides and terrian's. We replaced two log sheets that were so wet they were just mush. No nasty critters were seen today. SL TFTC
The great Southeast Saunter with Anymules down to the Millicent area to find caches associated with the postponed GV2020 mega. But with leave organized and accommodation booked the caching trip was not postponed! [^]
Day 9: It looks like the rain and drizzle had finally cleared and it was time to go and clear the other caches near Millicent that we hadn't yet found and complete the GV2020 series Knowing where some of the GV2020 were placed this was to be 'waders' day.
One final one for the day. Took a bit longer than it should have but the light was fading and should have really had the torch out by now. But I found it as Anymules went back for a torch.
***Thanks GeoVenture2020 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Still down in the south east for the "Used 2B a Geoventure" celebration weekend. Just one (hundred) more!!!
( Hopefully we'll be back for the real Geoventure when it's able to go ahead )
Teamed up with Sebastbat, and JEM we hit the trail again today and just found whatever came up on our map, some new, some old, all fun! The weather was definitely better today!!
It's tomorrow already and we're still out here... I didn't choose the caching life, it chose me!
No shortages near here.
Thanks for placing and maintaining another great cache on this corner of our map GeoVenture2020

Stay safe out there, caches and their hidey holes can be dirty and wet!
wash your hands, wipe down your cache gear, stay on this side of the border (it was tempting...)
sanitise, exercise, even wear a mask if hayfever season gets to you and
cache the countryside safely distanced at least a roo or an adult brown snake's length apart ! ! !
Have fun out there ! ! !

Huge day out with the hound finding caches around Millicent and Mount Burr. Geohusband had to work so reassessed my plan as now the hound was in tow. He had already been out hunting for 2 hours before we left the farm so was already pretty tired. He was then super excited about the road trip and wore himself out even more before we started finding caches.
He loved his day and apart from a scary moment when he got bitten by something (thinking bull ant) on his paw he had a most excellent time. We found 40 caches and enjoyed the celebration event (Rex had burger and donut scraps). He was still puffed on Sunday night.
We found some really cool caches and thank all the CO and especially the Mega committee for all their splendid efforts. We love country caching.
Nice quick find here TFTC

found with mogni leaving Mount Gambier and on the way back to Adelaide. Today's aim was to get the night cache ( in daylight if possible ( and it was ) ), as many of the higher terrain caches around Millicent plus any higher D caches if we had the time, a few more off highway stray caches and any we just happened to pass.
A weekend in Mount Gambier with sir_spectre and catching up with family and friends. We had three days and we managed to make a big dent in the many, many caches around Millicent.

Today was my final day in the south-east, before geocaching back to Adelaide. After a cave dive in Pines Cave, it was on to the geocaching festivities, with an expedited pack up and drive to the Ashlar CITO that was just happening around the corner. I then met the group at a close D/T 5.0/5.0 geocache to see group ingenuity sign the cache. It was then a visit to some cave geocaches, and collecting a few more Millicent smilies. I detoured then north through Furner, and collected a large cluster of caches spread around the back roads. I was soon having enough doing random rural geocaches solo, so made my way back to the highway, and started making headway towards home. I made sure to stop off at an oldie geocache that I had eyed many times driving along this road, which was a few kilometres towards Lucindale, before passing through Kingston SE and onwards to home. It was a day of variety and clearing some more geocaches around 2020's mega destination.
A quick visit to this cache, after I walked around the tree from the wrong direction first up. Eventually I made the find with some fitting camouflage to this theme. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, thanks GeoVenture2020 committe for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Well if you live around here there is a good chance that you know someone who has or does work at KCA, not such a big employer now but back in the day this place was overflowing with workers. These days every other person admires the workers that are left here because they are on great wages.
Apologies for the late logging but we had a medical appointment in the Mount and didn't have the chance to log.
Another well hidden cache with good co ordinates.
