Headed out of St Arnaud I saw the gallery sign, so made a detour, and this cache being there too, I 'had' to log it as well. Cache and log are good. This would make a nice addition to the SideTracked series. REALLY SideTracked - Saint Arnaud. TFTC FUF009.
We had been in Wooroonook Lakes for a weekend camping adventure with some fellow geocachers, and headed home to Melbourne today via St Arnaud which looked like geocaching heaven. Unfortunately the geocaching app wasn't available when we arrived which made for some very hard hunting, and we only managed 3 in St Arnaud (we'll have to come back up this way another time). Thankfully we did manage to find this cache by using the geocaching website. Thanks FUF009 for the cache. It was nice to meet you yesterday
A quick little find, i am having a great St Arnaud day but i am getting tired now so may have to call it quits soon. I had a terrific morning finding the whole Eucy Drive series with no DNFs. I walked some sections and drove others so the geopooch and i are both satisfied with our morning workout. i am now making my way further south collecting finds along the way. Often i cache midweek and it is a little unusual for me to cache for a whole weekend so I decided to head off this weekend for two days of caching fun. As it turned out i was able to get away latish on Friday afternoon so it will be more like two and a half days, yippee! I have been itching to get back over to St Arnaud and to do more of the fantastic series laid out around town and in the surrounding areas. Friday saw me pick up a couple of newish caches near Kooyoora, (Melville Caves), then get started on some cache series to the north east of town. After setting up camp and logging my finds i was early to bed and had a terrific sleep. This morning i set off early to finish the Eucy Drive series and now i am enjoying collecting caches and adlabs around town. Later i will probably head a little further south. St Arnaud Railway Station is find number 3,963 for me. A fun small sized traditional cache I enjoyed finding as one of my caching adventures in Northern Grampians Shire. I am logging this one on Saturday 7 Sept 2024 at 7:55 pm and the weather is Broken Clouds 11C 72% 3 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy FUF009.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Out for the day in the PeuGEOt with littlecogs to find some more of the myriad of Geocaches in and around the pretty town of St Arnaud.TFTC
Well, we were assuming this might have been on the actual railway station somewhere, but still turned up in a familiar and well used location. Thanks for another quickie FUF009.
Away for the ANZAC Day weekend painted Silo Art tour. (Self drive) picking up a cache at each location. TFTC
The GPS took us straight to this one which was in the obvious place.Wouldn't mind a dollar for every cache we've found in this type of hiding place. Thanks FUF009.
Went on a cache hunting day together with goingplaces2. It was a really fun day with lots of original caches that made the finds interesting. All good here. Log was signed and we were off to find the next cache with anticipation. TFTC.
Started out this morning on a very overcast and cool day with ilook4geo. This was the first cache of the day but most of our finds were out of town. This was a very quick and easy find and we were soon on our way after signing the log. Thanks for this cache go to FUF009.
Wooomelang to St. ArnaudMoving camp today, stopping on the way to pick up caches where possible with the caravan on.This was a great way to visit the area. After setting up in the caravan park we completed a few AL & any nearby cachesThanks FUF009 for hiding this cache.

Our last full day in St Arnaud for this trip so just collecting a few caches around town. This one was a quick find with good coordinates. TFTC
Out with sorceysal for a few days at St Arnaud. Along the way we stopped to collect a few caches to add to our finds list.A second look here and it was spotted. As I was returning it a local arrived and knew exactly what I was doing.Checked with him on the state of the roads for Eucy as I am now driving a 2 wheel not my tractor Suzuki. Such friendly people in this town. Thanks for the fun FUF009
On our way to St Arnaud for a couple of days with 6hinemoa2. Looked here and felt spiders to withdrew and started searching elsewhere but where else could it be. 6H2 had another look and there it was. Thanks Simon
Found on a sunny Sunday morning. Cache in good condition. Thanks for the Traditional Cache FUF009

A quick find as we walked around town.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

What a wonderful railway station - I do love the gallery and shop there - what a credit to the township of St Arnaud. thanks for placing a cache here.
Found before checking out the Art Gallery and after viewing the CWA State Exhibition. I love trains and stations- no trains today, but a beautiful old building. TFTC
The only good reason to get out of a warm car into the cold breeze is for a cool old railway station and a cache together. Found both very easily then got back in the car before we froze to death. TFTC

Out and about in the area to tackle the new power trail in St Arnaud and to catch up with the crew.
Despite the cold, we thoroughly enjoyed our geocaching experience. There's something special about embracing the elements and the challenge of finding a cache. It's a great reminder of how adventurous and resilient cachers can be, even in unfavorable conditions.
Thank you for the cache and the smile on the map.

Rutherglen Mega Trip. [^] Day 11 - Myself and Anymules are still making our way back to S.A. via a convoluted route which just happened to have caches we wanted. [^] After staying overnight at Bendigo we were up early and doing more caches before heading over to St. Arnaud and surrounds. Into Horsham for dinner and onto Kaniva for our last overnight stop.
A very quick find in the first obvious spot searched.

Quick find in one of the usual cache lairs. It looks like the railway is in use again, although difficult to find out much about it. More Googling required...
Knew where to look, and signed. A beautiful spot early Sunday morning and we also checked out the gallery.
Found it nicely tucked away before exploring the station and the art gallery. SL, TFTC
After driving straight past this little number on more than one occasion, catnap777 and I made sure we stopped here this time on Boxing Day of our StArnaud Christmas Holiday.

Beats me how we both missed this cache whilst here for the Mega back in 2019.
It also blows my mind that we were both here during that Mega, but in very different circumstances, not finally meeting each other till March 2021 .
Here we are today, both signing this cache together. Precious.
Thank you FUF009.

Had some spare time while working in town and figured it would be perfect to find some caches. This was a nice quick easy stop and find.

Catching up on logging. We spent a week in Adelaide catching up with family and then headed to St Arnauds via the Silos south of the Mallee Highway arriving in St Arnaud last night. So today we are off to explore the street art and caches around the town. We have been aiming to get back here since the Mega in 2019 where we were able to catch a few of the trails but of course not all. This was the next cache for the morning. JMelb went off to take a photo of the iron art out the front whilst GMelb made the find. It's sad when railway lines are no longer used!!

Perfect. Nice drive by and in first place we looked. Big container is lovely. TFTC
On our maiden voyage in our new (first ever) caravan, but not travelling to far from home or the dealer that sold it to us.
Moved camp from Donald to St Arnaud this morning and we wondered if the fog would lift.
Still foggy and chilly when we found this one, but a quiet Sunday morning with only one chap about taking photos of the building. Didn't take long for him to move on before we made a quick find.
TFTC SL and all TB's visited.

#18822. Day 2 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. Here we are at St Arnaud for a full day of caching but I think we have upset the weather gods. Took the bicycles with the doggies in tow and got rather saturated riding around doing 2 AdLabs and picking up a few other caches around town this morning. After a warming lunch we headed off to the Wax Gardens where we once again got wet.
A muggle-free morning and a quick find here, thankfully as we made our way around town. Noticed the water tank and the jib and the artistic circle in front of the building. Like most railway buildings, a nice one here too.
Thanks FUF009

Day Two of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Playing on the deadly treadlies in the rain in St Arnaud. Dogs only got out of their trailer a few times.
The look of the station is not improved by the steel fence they have erected along the platform.
But the water equipment was interesting.
Thanks, Robmc.

A Winter Saturday is always a good time to grab a few caches. LittleBoss2 and I headed from Bendigo today so I could reach a milestone and I couldn't think of a better area than St Arnaud to get some quality caching done.

Jinky and John are on a jaunt from Geelong to Ararat, to St Arnaud, Bendigo, Moama and back to Geelong. A tentative crossing of the NSW / Vic border, but a crossing not done since BC! A good cache, TFTC, left a geonickel.
Stopped here for two reasons - to view art display and to find this cache. It took longer than expected as my gps wouldn’t settle, eventually common sense clicked in and we soon had our name in the log. Thank you FUF009.
Bunadoorian and I were out and about early today and after fulfilling the requirements for the two Virtuals in town - we started on one of the Adventure labs which brought us nearby. I love the painted silos near by. We came here and found this cache in good condition. TFTC and for bringing us here FUF009.
A nice early morning cache. Lovely old station building. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
Find #2800 for me, making this a milestone cache! Yay! This was a quick find for me at 12:30 pm with my dog Bonnie after leaving your special geobirthday event. I decided to find just a few more before heading back to Bendigo and this was my first stop after the event. Thanks for the fun and the cache FUF009!
We made this the last cache we found in the town before heading out to work on the Challenge series. It brought us to the lovely old station. It’s such a pity passenger trains no longer go along the route. My father and his parents would probably used it quite a bit before they moved to Melbourne during the Second World War. I had a quick find with no spectators to see my actions.
Nice easy find after visiting the Silo Art

On a camping road trip and we are now staying at Wooroonook Lake. Today we made a trip into St Arnaud to get some supplies, have a look around and pick up a few caches of which this was the first. Once at GZ it was Mr Pooky who made a relatively quick easy find. What a quaint little railway station. TFTC, the history / Information and bringing us to this spot.
