I needed one physical cache for the day after the nearby event, and this was just a short walk up the street. Just walk to the end of the rainbow. Locus Cache was already busy eliminating hiding spots when myself, Jlly and LB arrived on the scene, and LB spotted the cache before I had the chance to get low. We gave that mint tin some love. Thanks for the hide Fr3dd0.
We came up the street to find someone else nosing around. It had to be a another cacher A wander around town with Otter61 and LB to find some treasures and complete and Adventure Lab.TFTC FreddoKeep smiling
Muggle partner, Rex and I headed to Strathalbyn to attend an event while also hoping to find the odd cache or two[^]We ended the day by getting home at 2am the following morning![?][|)]My Auntie Yvette also received a suprise visit and we chatted for almost 3 hours[:X][:X]Overall, 13 were achieved and the last two were FTFsA very long day[|)][|)] however I have not, for a long time, seen muggle partner smiling as happily as when he finally found the cemetery cache at Owen[:X], to end the day[^][|)][^]While looking for this cache I got muggled out: by LiB, Jolly and Otter61 Conveniently, they all can bend more easily than me hence it was them that quickly found the cacheTNLN. We actually found two here. When putting it back there was a second mint tin. I thought my daughter was crazy but she was correct.

Hi Freddo! Thanks for the cache. It's in excellent condition and hidden in a good spot (more interesting than the usual micro hiding spot). SL TN LN TB visited.
After set-up our tents at the campground, Bullertrout and I are back out getting a few more caches. TFTC Fr3dd0#16688
Paddle Chick and myself are heading to Murray Bridge area. Getting caches along the way and very hot today

I have collected the south Australia souviner plus the leap year souviner too YAY!! So glad to be here

Wow that was so hard. We couldnt find it. Spent a long time circling the chair and thought for sure we had worked it out a couple time but alas. Will have to come back and try again another day
A quick find while we headed into Strathalbyn for the day. Signed log at 10:55am with 4maal.
Thanks Fr3ddo
Thanks Fr3ddo
On a very rare and special occasion, I was out and about with my lovely on a mid-week escape. The weather was lovely, chilly air, fairly clear skies and warm in the car. We left home at a respectable hour, wandered through the hills at our leisure stopping for a morning cuppa while taking in views of the southern coast. Great conversation and experiences at a variety of caches. We stopped for lunch in Strathalbyn and had a stroll in the shops and park after. I had not been caching in this area before so there were many to choose from, including a couple armchair solves waiting patiently.
After walking back and forth for the sequenced AL in the park in Strathalbyn, I reverted to normal caching until it was home time. We managed many different cache types and picked up a golden oldie to fill a gap in my Jasmer grid. All up a wonderful day with over 30 remote hills finds added to my tally.
Thanks for the cache Fr33do. I did a quick lap of the big battery box, then onto where the cache is hiding. I must be in sync with you today, in all the placed it could be, I put my hand directly on it in the third place I touched. Perhaps it was the beer with lunch, or was it I had herself along giving me good luck. What about this chair design, its superb, so good you could fit about 50 mint tins in there, with only one having the log book. Should not have suggested that. Maybe I get in first and do that at another chair in this town, I will have to come back so its on the cards. Find #8476 at 3.37pm . Woot, next drive by please navigator.

Out doing some rally work for the Adelaide Rally and grabbing some caches along the way TFTC
Caught up with some caching buddies who I dragged over to this one to help get this little one, Sesall had a bit of a struggle but after a bit of ingenuity he soon had the cache in hand, much to our delight well done Sesall and TYFTC
A bit tricky on the retrieval needed the assistance of a near by stick but a great hide tftc
A very quick and easy find with naughtybunny. I'll leave it at that TNLN. Cheers.
Found with Chookster on our way back from a caching trip to Goolwa and surrounds. This is one I had failed to find on a previous visit, didn't log it as I was pretty sure the issue was me, not the cache! I may have ranted for a while or a few weeks even about 3 bloody Freddo caches that I couldn't find in Strath...
So we pull up in the car, short walk, aided by swarms of mozzies (they seem to LOVE this spot!) and I show Chookster all the spots I looked, even in the surrounding structures, the garden, the vegetation... and he found it in the absolute first spot he looked, in about 3 seconds.
I did briefly wonder if it was possible to beat someone to death with a mint tin...

*Another geocaching adventure with woolwood9.*
We visited many good caches and trails on our trip and had a lot of fun!
*Really appreciate your effort putting this cache out.*
We soon located the container, getting it out was another story - it had been pushed up too far but we eventually got it. The force was strong with this one!
All logs stamped: *tm/ww NZ*

A rare day taking the non interested other half for a drive to Strathalbyn where she allowed me to find a few hides. I did agree to stop at some arty farty shops and buy her lunch at a bakery which was enough to make her happy.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
The obvious structure was identified but alas, there is no where under, hmm.
Try that other structure and yes, a prize.
Thank you for the cache Fr3dd0 Find Number 9798 on 5/07/2022

Visiting for a family reunion and then discovered that there was a cache around the corner. A good reason to go for a walk on a brisk winter afternoon and walk off the results of a great lunch at the Lake Breeze cellar door. TFTC.
Finally found it, needed a TOTT and a good break in the traffic for a Sunday morning. TFTC Fr3dd0.
We are finally able to travel interstate without heaps of loops to jump through. We thought we would take it easy and have a look around South Australia and grab a few more LGA's while we were here.
IT took a little bit of search but luckily I checked the right spot
This was find number 6 for the day.

Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. However the cache was in a confined space which made retrieval somewhat challenging. The cache and contents were in good condition. We always familiar with magnetic mint tins but thus us one of the better ones because of its placement. It earns a favourite from us. Thanks Freddo for the cache.
Camping at Langhorne creek for a lazy weekend of R&R and of course caching. Out today to Strath for a few supplies and then down to Milang. Knowing the CO we knew it wasn't a nano that we where looking for!!! TFTC
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Freddo

We wandered by on our way for some groceries and grabbed this newly replaced cache.
Many thanks for the hide and replacement Freddo

We searched high and low for this cache but sadly we think it is has gone missing. Looks like the resident has done a bit of gardening and may have tossed it.
