TFTC Very hot (for us) today. We may have been distracted by the heat as well as muggles. If it is on the structure, it eluded us.
Found during a drive around town while staying in Horsham for a few days. Thanks for the cache Duntulum!
Find 5274 on September 28, 2024 Found while on a family holiday. Today was a rest day in Horsham and surrounding districts picking up a few caches here and there.Simple but well hidden. Very nice. All is well with the cache. TFTC Duntulum
Finally able to turn this frown into a nice yellow smiley. The last time I looked for this one I was having car repairs and so I have the same story today. Fortunately the ending was a little more favourable today as I made a very quick find of the sneaky cache, with the help of a tell tale tail. There didnt seem to be as much traffic today either, so I didnt feel quite as conspicuous. Thanks Duntulum for another great cache in Horsham.
Great concept! Tell tale sign helped! On a multi mission with weirdobiker after the Lameroo Ludicrous Leg Warmers events in SA and now heading back east via a through different LGA's. Its been great exploring the country out west with plenty of highlights to remember. TFTC and the lure.
After being in Lameroo for the annual JLWE event this year with an 80s theme, we are slowly making our way homeOut and about with Ronice88 today to pick up caches here, there and everywhere.Quick find as we came into Horsham
Looked in every single metal tubing on the sign and sculpture with a torch and nothing. Travelled from SA to find so was a little disappointed that people don't put these things back in the right place. Hopefully next time
Found it,it took awhile to find but found it.We were on our way back from a footy practice match.
Newbie navigator was concerned that we shouldn't be here, but made the quick find with reassurance. Have driven past many times and thought that it deserved a closer look. TFTC
Took a while but I found it with a mate. Couldn't log yesterday cuz my phone went flat
I was concerned that we shouldn't be in the area but with reassurance, I ended up finding the cache before my expert geopartner.Tftc
Thanks for a great hide. Had me stumped for a while but the clue helped. Cheers.
Great spot, cool cache! Disregard rude people with rude logs! Very limited parking lol
Forgot my pen- rookie error Thanks for the hide. Lovely spot to stop and let kids stretch their legs.
Cool hide, Duntulum. Thanks for hiding and maintaining this cache. All in good shape at GZ. SL. TN. LN.
Felt a bit conspicuous with all the cars going by but luckily found it quickly. Cool sculpture. TFTC
Found after a bit of a search on a nice sunny day. Thanks for the Traditional Cache Duntulum
Easy find on a cool morning on way to Melbourne a cache or two on the way too TFTC
A great way to highlight a sculpture I would never have noticed. Once I got on my knees, I found something that led to the cache.
Thanks for placing the cache Duntulum.
Thanks for placing the cache Duntulum.
Quick find on an interesting sculpture just a short walk from the evening accommodation. Log book empty so I think the CO has replaced after the last two who couldn't find it. But no log to that effect. Thanks.
Got excited approaching GZ with the cool sculpture, but after 10 mins searching I had to give up
Cool spot to s too...
Did a cpl of laps before spotting the hide. Nice work.

Thanks

In my quest to find enough caches in each LGA to qualify for one of the Whittlesea challenge caches, I made a short detour to this one to make the find.
After eventually finding this one, it then took some time to get it out as it hadn't been put back properly, got there in the end.
**Thanks to Duntulum for placing this cache.**

A nice drive around Horsham this morning collecting a few unfound caches, a nice and easy find here
After the mega in Whittlesea over the past few days, e.gregory1, freddo and I headed home on a roundabout route via Bendigo and St arnaud to collect a few caches on the way.

Needed to PAF here. Missed it by that much.
November 2022. Time for the second Victorian Mega of the year. This time in Whittlesea. What is it with W's? Time for another epic road trip. Who will join our merry crew? We traveled from South Australia and camped in the pig pen. It rained. It blew. It was sunny. It was not sunny. All four seasons. Beautiful location and some awesome caches.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 1: No Entry - Wrong Way.
Once again myself and Anymules headed to Victoria for a Mega event ignoring the very familiar sign at the border. As usual despite leaving early and only wanting to get to Ballarat we arrived at our overnight digs just as it was getting dark. [^] We stopped for a few new caches and lab caches, many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs.
Took a little while but we found it in the end.
***Thanks Duntulum for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

After attending a Celebration Event in Dimboola this morning, this cache was found as we cached our way back home. On arriving at the sculpture, we initially thought this might take us a long time, as there are so many potential hiding places. Then Chook spotted something but nearly didn't check it further. But lucky she did and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC Duntulum.
A lot of searching for this one before finally spying the tell tale sign. TFTC.
Oh dear, should leant to pay a bit more attention to the GPSr.
Just messaged poor CO and then realized that I was only 31 m away checking out the wrong sculpture! Face plant moment!!!
TFTC and your swift responses!!
Having dejavu here too!

After a morning of retail therapy in Horsham it was time to grab some smilies.
A few grabbed in town before I headed down to Halls Gap via Zumsteins.
On the hunt for a possible FTF.
By the end of the day I had 1 ad lab location and 12 trads with a surprising 2FTFs in there. And roughly 5ks of walking ( not counting the shops)
A quick n easy grab worthy of the D1.5, or was this because I found this cache when it was on the sculpture out the other end of Horsham.... Hmmmmm I wonded if the council have plans to move it again.... now wouldn't that be funny.
TFTC Duntulum
Dropping off a fave.

Up early for a sneaky cache before I have to head off to Rainbow for the day. I wanted to get some caching in before the long trip back to Geelong tonight.
Sneaky little hide! I felt a little awkward scrambling up the garden bed but there seems to be a geotrail now which is handy.
Thanks for the hide

Just as we were about to look for this cache I received a phone, so feathertop was left to her own devices, and, of course, came up trumps as usual.
Thanks for replacing the one here on this interesting sculpture.

I was heading to Horsham to pick up my Daughters car that was being repaired after she had a run in with a Kangaroo a few weeks ago. After collecting her car and getting it back to the Motel I had some time to cache before finding some dinner.
This one took some finding being taller than most didn't help me in finding this one but eventually I was able to get my name in the log book.
Thank you Duntulum for the hide.

In Horsham today for work so a cheeky cache or two was in order! Back here. Easy find today. How I missed last time who knows! Ha ha. Thanks
Find No. 3664. Found at 3.40pm
Heading to Horsham for a day out caching, in the van with Geodog Penny on board.
Along the way we stopped in Rupanyup and Murtoa to do the Adventure Labs and made a short detour at Dooen.
Now in Horsham we are just driving around grabbing caches as we go.
Parked nearby off the edge of the road and took Penny walking to look at the sculpture. Having a dog in tow works really well sometimes as muggles think nothing of you when they see you walking a dog. Probably spent five minutes looking over the sculpture before coming across what we were looking for.

Logging this one for the second time around. I found the initial cache on the other side of town many moons ago and was surprised to see that the sculpture had been moved to this spot. Can’t remember where the old cache was hidden so it still took a few minutes before we located this sneaky hide. Just continuing our caching run around town today and managed to locate an assortment of different hides including this one, thanks again for the hide.
Heading over to Melbourne for the Grand Prix grabbing caches along the way TFTC

Whaaat! A "D" of 1.5 in that sculpture where vehicles are zooming past you every few seconds!!! And the cache is not even visible!!!! Have I previously mentioned that the D ratings of these caches are woefully under rated [:o)]
We have a similar "community" sculpture in Port Macquarie that caused a massive uproar amongst the citizens - I even contacted the artist to find out what he actually meant to convey with his artwork which was very illuminating, but not convincing when I relayed it to some of the more scornful citizens
Thanks Duntulum.
