Found during a drive around town while staying in Horsham for a few days. Thanks for the cache Duntulum!
What a very interesting piece of history. Thanks for bringing me here and sharing this spot. Cache took a little longer than it should have as I had over thought it way to much. Cache in great condition.
Yeeha! The Wild West is calling and Snips and Co and I are traversing along the Southern and Western Victorian borders.Today we will travel from Kaniva to Melbourne , hopefully finding a few geocaches in new LGAs and some scenic spots.Snips and Co mentioned she had spent some time in this town and there were some interesting and difficult hides. so we stopped and were surprised how quickly we found this cache but it was good to have a little rest break and a smiley.
Ive searched for this one before pretty sure the camo has changed - found easily this time. Thanks Duntulum
Spent a good 20 mins searching but was also very conscious of loitering in the bushes in the middle of the day, so gave up as I have a 4hr drive home ahead of me. Hopefully I can come back one day and try again!
Visiting the Hay Family and out for a stroll on this lovely warm morning with the geokids! Great cache, ingenious! Thankyou
Staying at Riverside cp for 3 nights. Loved exploring and finding caches. Interesting history. TFTC
A quick find, but no log sheet. Nothing on the ground so took a photo just to prove we found it.
Took a bit as went around and read a few logs then realised but called a friend found it at same time omg you over think things at first took longer to get the log out to sign TFTC
Phew ...reminiscent camo! On a multi mission with weirdobiker after the Lameroo Ludicrous Leg Warmers events in SA and now heading back east via a through different LGA's. I'm thoroughly enarmoured with Dimboola, its public art and tributes to its history. Its been great exploring the country out west with plenty of highlights to remember. TFTC and the lure.
After being in Lameroo for the annual JLWE event this year with an 80s theme, we are slowly making our way homeOut and about with Ronice88 today to pick up caches here, there and everywhere.Very clever hide which deserves a favourite point
Autumnal Victorian Roadtrip.Day Six: Great Western to home.Weather: Foggy start, but still perfect! Im on a schedule here, with the relocation vehicle due in at Adelaide airport at 6pm. Consequently, this ended up being the last cache of the roadtrip after a DNF in Dimboola. What a great note to end on. I glanced at the cache title and thought that this was all about sheep farming, even though Hamilton is some distance from here. Tony must have been quite a man, and this is yet another sad story from the war years. I wonder what happened with the six children and the widowed sister in law. Ive been through Horsham many, many times, and would never have known of this story without the cache here. That alone warrants the FP, but its a clever and unusual hide too. Thanks for all the caches today Duntulum.
Found quickly with my newbie buddy. Slowly building up their geosenses. This was a new type of hide for them. Went back to the car to do the rerolling so as to not stand out. Interesting history. Fav pt given TFTC
I bet everyone one did what I did .lol..well played a very unique hide and a unique location took a photo of information so I could read it later tonight...the heat reaching 40 didn't help my patience in getting the log back into the cache ...and I almost succumbed to the heat lol... Tiz13 favourite point worthy..
Great cache. Thanks for the hint we soon spotted the cache. Very fiddly to get the log out but we managed. Log signed and all left as found.Interesting to read that he was re-elected unopposed while still a prisoner of war. Pity he didnt make it home. Favourite point from us. Thank you.
As I approached GZ I could hear music. The hall was in use by some line dancers. I stealthily approached what I thought was the cache and was rewarded with a log sheet to sign. Great container.Thanking you for the Traditional Cache that you placed Duntulum
I noticed the tweezers after I extracted the log! A camo Id not seen before. Bravo Thank you Duntulum for placing and maintaining Hamilton Lamb for us to find today.
Heading toward Adelaide for the Leap Year Mega to celebrate my first 4 years caching with commenced on a Leap Day event.Had to come into town to find a cache in this LGA, our earlier attempt wasn't working for us.
Muggle65 and l are on our way to the Leap Year Mega in Adelaide. Such a long drive but thankfully we have a few cache stops. Thank you for the break and the fun
Found with crank1 while on our way to Adelaide for The Great Leap Forward event. Duntulum, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
Filling in time till weekend for surprise birthday party in areaTook me longer until I put my reading glasses on and read the hint correctly Well danr
Log full and sorry I didn't carry spares on this journeythis took me quite some time! Thank you Duntulum for breaking up my long journey from Leongatha to Swan Reach to do the OYB series.
Headed this way today to check out the silo art. Couldn’t resist having a quick look for a couple of caches. Saw this one with the fave points and headed here.
The clue made sense to me until……. I we found it…… and yes it deserved the fave points and it gets another one tftc

In Horsham doing some errands so always try and grab a few caches when I’m here. Had already been up this way today, so should have looked at my map earlier. Read Hamilton Lambs info on the front door while the local Lilly pop lady kept quizzically looking at me. Ducked around the corner and it took a bit of a search … was just about to give up when I finally spotted something that made a lot of sense. Very clever. Thanks for putting the effort in to create some different caches Duntulum. Gets a fav for effort and interest in the local history. Pleased your dad made it home.
From the hint we were on the right track, but where???very creative, we’ll done
Sorry for the late logging, but grab this one while in horsham for a few days. TFTC
Walked up from my one night accommodation in Horsham. Fortunately no one around and found after a short search feeling very conspicuous. I wonder what the TV reception is like after this cache went in! Thanks.
Nice find. Thanks for bringing us out this way. Nice work put into making. Have a fav point from us.
Nice cache... didn't take too long and happy to have found it so quickly. But I'm sure I'm getting caching eyes as would never have clicked
What a funky little hide! Didn’t realise it was there for the first few minutes. TFTC
Took a lil while for the GPSr to decide which side of the building I needed to be on...
Eventually checked out the right spot.

Well there was an event I saw published in Bordertown hosted by Roaming Howie and since I was able to have 4 days off I decided to head over to attend the event and then to also do a few of the On Ya Bike series to finish off my D/T loop.
Throw a few oldies into the mix for my Ausmer grid and it was going to be a busy weekend with lots of Km’s.
So after attending an event, finding the ones required on the OYB series, surviving the heat then wind a forgotten challenge series then a few oldies and making it back to Victoria for the night it was time to head home.
Collecting caches that I come past as they say just one more.
A nicer day today with the heat turned down a bit.
An interesting read on the sign after first seeing the title and thought what was this all about.
A fav goes out to you for this very clever cache (but not for the log book)
Big things are continuing to happen! Are you joining the fun again in 2023?

Another clever hide. This time the nearly 3 year old found it. Happy Boxing Day.
In Hamilton to get fuel and caches. Now one of the challenges in Victoria requires us to find twelve in every LGA in the state, another 20 in at least 80 LGAs! This was a tough hunt in a fairly public location and the tiny log is crammed full and needs replacement. Very clever hide and hint was the only reason I’d look at that!
Another great cache that deserves the fav point. Stopped on the way to SA and enjoyed the break. TFTC
Found with MazzyMay on a trip west. Stopped in town for some lunch and found a couple of caches that were recommended by friends, this being the first of them. TFTC
A nice drive around Horsham this morning collecting a few unfound caches, a nice and easy find here
After the mega in Whittlesea over the past few days, e.gregory1, freddo and I headed home on a roundabout route via Bendigo and St arnaud to collect a few caches on the way.
Thanks for the cache

A neat little hide here.
November 2022. Time for the second Victorian Mega of the year. This time in Whittlesea. What is it with W's? Time for another epic road trip. Who will join our merry crew? We traveled from South Australia and camped in the pig pen. It rained. It blew. It was sunny. It was not sunny. All four seasons. Beautiful location and some awesome caches.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Found the cache but unable to write on paper as its stuck in the cache, may require some attending to
Saw one of these a few years ago. Unfortunately it was disconnected which made it an easy find. After signing I made sure it was back as intended it should be. TFTC
**Found with Happy pants and BAZMAN4LIF3 after staying in Horsham for the night**
The thing I love about caching is the interesting stories, the extra interest and attention you take when traveling, the sight-seeing, the history, the interests of the individual CO’s, *the fantastic photo opportunities* and sometimes finding places that even some locals don’t know about. I, like most cachers, look for more that a mint tin or a container under a bush. I appreciate the time that most CO’s take to construct a cache and write up a comprehensive listing and to create an interesting cache. **I love traveling this big land of ours.** I love taking the roads less traveled. I love the diversity of the land, the different scenes in the different seasons, the fresh air, the open plains, the lofty vistas and the magnificent waters. I even enjoy the longer scenic walks although I'm not as young and as fit as I used to be. I love the different coffee shops I find. I enjoy the times I cache with others but I usually cache on my own.
A clever hide.
Thank you Duntulum for highlighting this area and for adding this cache to my real-life treasure hunt. Appreciate your efforts.

Up early for a sneaky cache before I have to head off to Rainbow for the day. I wanted to get some caching in before the long trip back to Geelong tonight.
Cache was found open and on the floor so not exactly sure where it was meant to be hidden. I took a photo of it if needed. I placed it back where I thought it might belong.
Thanks for the cache.

Heading to Horsham for a day out caching, in the van with Geodog Penny on board.
Along the way we stopped in Rupanyup and Murtoa to do the Adventure Labs and made a short detour at Dooen.
Now in Horsham we are just driving around grabbing caches as we go.
Parked in the hall carpark and went for a short walk. We thought this one might be a hard one to find as we couldn't see any suitable hiding spots. Couldn't work out what was meant by the hint, then all of a sudden it all fell into place and we had the log in hand.
We don't normally give nano's or micro's favourite points but we did think this cache was well worth one, so a favourite point is going your way.

Boy talk about revisiting some old gz’s as l came here a while back and located a sneaky hide in one of the treated pine posts, now long archived. Talk about a unfortunate story of loss for both this remarkable man and his wife. We soon hade this we’ll hidden cache in hand, boy that is a different cache, great clue made for a quick find. Thanks again Duntulum for showing us some local history and the hide, our closest friends only lived a few doors up from here and we spent many times bringing our boys across the road to the oval to kick the footy. Still remember the Homers footy ground before it got gobbled up by all the current houses sprung up. Ah good times…
Heading over to Melbourne for the Grand Prix grabbing caches along the way TFTC

Now that was a clever hide and we would have given it an FP if it was correctly rated for "D"
This is a classic example of not looking that hard or detailed because it is a mere D of 1.5.
Gosh - soldiers in their 40's were enlisted!
Thanks Duntulum.
