Yay, time for a Tuesday trekking tour.
The starfish picked up the Rat from the Rat's den.
Then there was time for a quick couple of caches.
On to the snakes place to pick up a Snake.

We cached our way down south to meet up with the Starman at the planetarium.

The awesome foursome then cached their way further south.
We parked the geomobile close by and walked to GZ,
Then the search began.
We searched and searched. nothing.
Here with a previous finder and a paf.
still no cache.

I walked down the hill from Clydesdale Ct and circled the tree once, read the hint and found it with ease. I am still finding this lovely little containers, I recall when you released all these, it was an epic effort, and I am sure I am still yet to find some of them.

The cache and book were in good condition. Thanks for the hide and bringing me here Alysse14. I found ur.... ur.... urcache.

No chance of being unnoticed here - the neighbourhood dogs going balistic as we pulled up Twisted.
Fortunately, we couldn't be seen at GZ Big Grin.
TNLNSL.
Doesn't look like any horses have used the trail for quite some time (no sign of shoe marks) Smile. Think it would be quite something to see a couple ride through Razz.
Oh, and the birds were in full song while we were here Big GrinCool[^].
Thanks Alysse14.

After just grabbing the "Koala Walk" cache, i read up on this one seeing if it had been visited since i tried for it back on Anzac Day... Yes! it has and has been put back [^]

I circled three trees to no avail then after about 10 minutes i tried the 1st tree again with much more scrutiny....... "Ah! there you are, Planet Uranus! Who said you could wander outta the Solar System?" lol.

Thanks to the previous cacher for showing this god the way home ha ha, he must been on the turps the night before on the 24th of April Big Grin Gaia must have been so worried about him [:o] Big Grin

The cache was found and signed at 10:37 on Wed 6 May 2020. [Blue face turned to Yellow, yippee [^]]

Replaced exactly where it was found. Nice spot. It won't get Muggled with luck.
[Hint: It's now above waist height... just Big Grin]

No luck with Uranus this morning... he wasn't home but then again i probably didn't knock long and loud enough ha ha [meaning it's usually me Big Grin]

Checked the 3 tree's in the area the GPS wanted me. I hope it's not missing [:o]

Thanks for the challenge anyways, alysse14 Smile

Looked in the tree at GZ, nothing. Then went to the nearby trees, nothing. Then found at 1::00pm by chance 20m away from GZ on the ground as we were about to log a DNF. Returned it to a likely spot at GZ TFTC

Had noticed this interesting series when it first came out and had found seven a while ago. Today it was decided to target the rest, with one disabled this left 24 to look for. On a pleasant afternoon down south managed to find all but two.
As I don't like to leave a series unfinished this means that I'll be back for those last three.
Thanks alysse14 for this cache and the nice series

Had to find a cache for the leap day souvenir and this was close by. Took the geodaughter and geopup for a trip and had a bit of a hard time first up. The geodaughter wandered off with the pup as there were some other dogs around making a racket. I wandered down to join them and recalibrated the GPS in my phone and she took the reins as we went back up the hill. With a fresh perspective I found the container soon after, signed the log and replaced. TFTC.

Nothing in Uranus.

Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for a fun cache guys. Love your work. We signed the logbook. Cache in pretty good condition.

Easter 2020 sees South Australia Geocaching hosting the next Easter big MEGA event, GeoVenture 2020 at Millicent. GC82DAN. Check out the event page and our website. We would love to see you at this four day event. Sponsored by Wattle Range Council and Geocaching.com. Lots of caches to find including two classic art work trails.

This geocache was found using a Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20. Waypoints and paperless geocaching downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared and submitted using GSAK publish logs...

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

When hevwalker says let's go caching... we do. The question is always the same, "what area do you have lots of caches to find?" Then she proceeds to check the map and look to see if we both have unfounds.
This Greek Gods series was the ideal caching run. Still have more to get but that will be another day (after the current situation eases, could be some time)
Cute camoed caches ??

Apologies for the late log, the current self isolation situation is a perfect opportunity to chip away at my unlogged finds, expect more ?? ??

This evening I headed out with Davidwazza to complete the Greek mythology series, it was good to see all the containers were the same and we soon got into the hang of how they were all hidden.
All but a few were found as we ran out of time.
Thank for the series and caches

04-Feb-20
After work this evening, gridge98 and I had planned to hit up this *Greek Mythology* series around the southern suburbs. I think it was a shame that these weren't able to be placed together somewhere so they could be driven, hiked or ridden along, and would have nicely grouped the consistent theme of them. They were hard to attack in one stance because the clusters were quite spread out between suburbs, so I wondered if it would have been better to just complete various suburbs, rather than targeting this series. Anyway, just my comments about their overall vicinity placement.

The locations itself weren't too bad, with parks and small vacant areas selected, which made them nice to walk around in. The cache containers were nicely decorated, and matched the particular name of them, which is to be commended. All of the containers had a magnet attached, despite half of them hidden in locations not needing a location, so guessing the container was designed first, before the hide locations selected.

Most didn't take long to find, with coordinates all reasonably good. We had a few that did take a little bit of time, but that was just because it wasn't hidden in the usual place.

This was our second cache this evening, and this one took a while to find. Like others before us, we were looking between three trees, with the coordinates at one tree just didn't seem to have many hide spots. In the end, we made the cache find, and coordinates seemed good (it was just an unusual hiding spot). It was slightly moved to ensure its longevity here. The cache was found with container and logbook in good shape. Thank alysse14 for the cache placement to this series.

Not in the first place I looked, or event the second or third. But then I spotted a flash of colour.

Thanks for the cache alysse14.

Found on a great day out with CPwanderer, clare007 and AussieM&M.
Our aim was to complete all 32 in this series. Which we did.
The weather was good as was the company.
A fun series with cute containers.
While we were looking for this one, a neighbour approached and offered to help. He seemed to know about a previous cache hide here. He helped us search and actually made the find.

TFTC and the series alysse14
Apologies for the late log.

Out and about caching with Gizmo's Gang, CPwanderer and Clare007. We aimed to find all 32 of these caches on a warm but not hot Sunday. Ran into another cacher at one of the 32 too.

02-Feb-20
Out & about with Aussie M&M, Gizmo's Gang & CPwanderer today.
The target was to complete the 32 caches of the Greek God series.
We had only started searching when a neighbour who had been watching us,
walked towards us & asked if he could help us?
It seemed that he knew about a previous cache which was in a nearby tree.
He helped us find the current cache in the correct tree.
Thanks for the hide alysse14

Found on a great day out with clare007, Gizmos Gang and AussieM&M!!!! Perfect weather to collect all 32 in this series!!!A fun series that had us going all over the place!!! As we searched a neighbour approached and asked if we had found it? Turns out he was remembering a cache from a few years ago that was in a nearby tree. He helped us search and actually made the find!

So 2 years ago I set myself a personal challenge to get 10 caches on every calendar day. The final day I now need to find caches on is Feb 29. A huge thanks to all who have helped me get this far. Today I needed 3 finds but managed about 8.
Thanks to alysse14 from mogni Big Grin

01-Feb-20
found with mogni. She needed a puzzle for a calendar day. We where passing by a few of these caches published recently on the return and stopped to make a quick find.

01-Feb-20
Decided I would go out and find a few more of these little cuties now that the rain has stopped. [^] Who would believe 2 days ago I was out in 42° heat and today everything was wet and so much cooler. Surprised

I ended up finding 6 and having to report to the CO that one of the caches has gone missing. Sad

I only had my phone and it was taking me between 3 trees...I spent far too long looking at the wrong trees and then found it where I hadn't looked previously. Red Face

Thanks for the cache alysse14. Smile

Today the plan was to finish the Greek series. The crappy weather was a bit off putting but eventually I got myself organized and headed out.
I had added some extra caches to the list and whilst I was out I remembered I also needed a multi which meant for a much further drive than anticipated.
In the end I didn’t finish the Greek series but did find about 17 caches. I will have to come back for the remaining 3 Greek caches.
I found caches hidden by a variety of hiders and managed to stay quite dry (just the feet getting wet). At least I didn’t have to worry about snakes today!
This one took a while to find but once I got the right tree the cache was soon in hand. TFTC Alysse
