Today out and about on 222 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
Find # 14615Been a while since I've been out solo for a long trip. But things change over time. And I'm living the past.So with some time off work, I've jumped the border wall to chase down some long trails in South Aussie... don't know how many I'll get. But I've got quite a few downloaded. I do have a short hit list ( of 2) caches to help with a challenge. All others are just for the Adventure and countryside views. Armed with all the necessary TOTT from tweezers and magnet grab to 6m ladder and 8m fishing pole. I believe I'm prepared for all that I'll come across. (Just had to leave the Kayak at home )Day 2. Murray Bridge to Swan Reach, via Nuriootpa to visit Geostuff.Managed to get my hit list, of 2 done today... a few others thrown in. A couple of short sharp trails and the fireman's hat.... then focused on the high Terrain "On your bike" caches west of Swan Reach...No one around for the extraction... made it a simple find TFTC CheekySatyr
Staying at the sports grounds at Greenock. Day 3Now that we have completed the bunch of grapes it's time to visit another area of the Barrossa.Today we did such a varied types of caches, in many interesting locations. Thanks CheekySatyr for hiding this cache.
Caching with team SPBINZ, Sidewaze, Paddle chick, bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie. After a great day yesterday putting (almost) all of the bunches of grapes in the "Barossa" series back how they were we're planning a much more varied day today and having a good look around. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Aotearoa / New Zealand.
We've been out completing the loop this morning on a bit of a random caching mission and now we've reached Angeston. Seeing a few more of the sights today as we are off the trail. Found as part of the SPBINZ team (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ, and Nanzie). TFTC CheekySatyr and kia ora from Aotearoa/New Zealand # 21,985**Otepoti/Dunedin is the place to be 26-27 October, 2024 for GCA7ZHD - Geo Toroa Mega! Please come and join in the fun, find heaps of caches and experience some wonderful Southern hospitality.**
Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie are caching our way around the Barossa signing our logs as SPBINZ or some variation on that. TFTC CheekySatyr#16431

I am trying to make the Feb29 Mega in Adelaide my 20,000th find, and that means keeping a close eye on my numbers. So this is just a temporary log to help me keep my numbers accurate. I'll expand on this when I get home.Find # 19915
Touring around with geocaches as our guide today. On the hunt for fuel and a pharmacy!More local caches and a new LGA today. All caches were found in good condition.TFTC cheeky satyr
Another JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni & sir_spectre) day was organised heading up north again to find some pole caches, some D/T combinations and various others on our travels. We were joined by Mrs travellinbees and GTA5 and had a fun day winding our way along lots of dirt roads and tracks trying to find some out of the way caches. We made it to Truro for lunch at the bakery then headed off to the south east before heading home.We were on the way home and decided to stop for this one, the last of the day. It took a while to find but we got there in the end. Thanks for the cache CheekySatyr.
Found on the way home. We looked and looked and looked, Mogni looked were we looked, she found it. Quick find. I was looking for something different, something with less cammo.Out on the monthly outing with the JAMS crew ( JJ52, Allister W, Mogni plus sir_spectre ) but not mitchell&hound since she is off on a extended holiday. Travellin'bees and GTA5 joined us for the day out as well. Today's targets were to get a ladder cache and some solved puzzles that require a extension pole then turn right at Nurioopta and find hopefully about 40 caches so i can get closer to 20,000 and find my 20, 000 cache over in Victoria just after christmas. The only other target we had was to get the " Pirate Project " cache since onlt 8 " Pirate Project " caches were published in South Australia and 3 of the JAMs crew published " Pirate Project " caches and so did the Jams account. The weather was nice for a change and while no snakes were sighted we did find 3 lizards. We fixed a few broken containers and replpaced any full or wet logsheets.
The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre) joined the travellinbees and GTA5 for a fun day out north grabbing a few more more caches as one of us aims for 20 000 finds.....Any cahes that needed some help were fixed. Thanks to CheekySatyr from mogni .
Quick stop to retry finding this one, definitely a well hidden cache. Bit of a stretch to get it!
A big reach up to catch this one, with a small Tott we were able to get it. Another Tott to sign the log. A big stretch to return it. Another find another smile thanks for helping us stay healthy.
Another cache that Kyliesmiley spotted before me but we are a team and this needed teamwork for retrieval. The cache log was tough to extract but we got there in the end. TFTC
Found with Jamesta18 today while doing some off the road caches, its our Anniversary weekend so we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and find some caches I was looking up and around and one looked odd, not in sequence like the rest Log is a little tricky to extract , but signed and off we went TFTC
Out for a morning walk in the misty rain. Found this one nice and quickly! Log needs replacing.
Back here for a second day in a row. After logging yesterdays finds I noticed how many I missed so here to remedy this. I did not need to complete a full circuit to find the cunning hide. Cache is in good condition but the log sheet is really full and needs replacing.
Thanks for the cache CheekySatyr, find #8717 at 9.44am

Wow! What a great find! Best and hardest cache we’ve found! Kids and parents had fun!
Southern Autumn adventure Day 39. Mid North section of SA trip Day 10. Barossa Valley Day 2. The direction for today was Angaston. I was distracted by the markets first and then made it to Angaston. I started with a few caches around town and then hit the bike trail on my scooter to finish the caches back to where I left off the other day. The rest of the day was spent caching between Angaston, Tanunda and Nuriootpa, picking up what I was able to until I hit my daily count for this trip.
With several places to look, I was happy one of the spots I thought would hold the cache did.
Thanks for the cache CheekySatyr

Looking for some cooler weather, we’ve decided to head towards the coast, choosing specific caches to help with challenges along the way.
A quick find by the eagle-eyed RoamingHowie. A bit of a struggle to get the logsheet out but got there in the end.

The Epic Road Trip with OzHockeyChick has now entered a new phase “No More On Your Bike”. After a huge and tiring day yesterday finishing off the western section, it’s a far more relaxed day today exploring and doing a little more sight seeing.
It took longer to retrieve the log than it did to find the cache here! Another well travelled cacher spot ticked off.
Thanks CheekySatyr for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

naughtybunny and I went around and around and around here over and over and over again until we saw the sneaky bugger. cache logged and put back for the next sucker. TNLN. Cheers.
Did 3 or 4 passes, did some groping around, squinted a lot, then read some logs and did another slow pass around. I think Chookster and I spotted this at the exact same time, but he's a lot taller than I am.
Nice hide, this was fun to find.

Another day in the Barossa with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies.
The weather was looking a bit iffy so we traveled by car collecting caches in the rain around the Barossa.
I thought I knew where it would be, but didn't look closely enough. This lead to a protracted search, and a few words when we eventually located it.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19932. Day 10 of our holiday in SA and the weather forecast was for rain, showers and rain. Robmc and I loaded the geodoggies into the chariot and headed off around the countryside collecting caches where we could. Surprisingly, we managed 26 finds and finished off 2 waypoints of an AdLab we started on our last visit.
Took a little while here as looking up isn't that easy. The hide was what I had suggested but it just took a while to locate.
Thanks CheekySatyr

I recently completed one cache find in each 360 degrees from home location challenge. I have now decided to continue and aim for five finds in each of the 360 degrees. Today I was targeting specific caches in missing cells for this challenge and a few solved mysteries along the way.
A great day of sunshine and a bunch of high quality caches made for a very enjoyable day.

Out for a days caching in the area, targeting a few specific caches to help complete our Day Hidden calendar and our Jasmer Calendar. Lots of great caches were found, some very creative while others had great views. This one helped in one way or the other as a target for the day.
Another clever cache, well presented and well hidden. Love the ones that are hidden in plain sight. A fav from us. TFTC
