DRB "I'd go home if I had one" was transferred from GeocachingSA to user scramping
We had a surprise couple of days free so we decided to head across the border in an attempt to find our 10,000th South Australian cache. Happily we achieved that yesterday and today we are doing a few more around the Millicent area before heading to Beachport for the night. We decided to tackle this series as we had heard a lot of good reports about it and even in the less than perfect weather we had we can see why.We really enjoyed the themes and the containers and had a great time driving around locating them.We missed a couple due to the rain coming down super heavily and there was one we didn't have the right equipment for but we are happy to say that we did find everyone we looked for. Some took a little longer but we will blame that on the cloud playing havoc with the GPS'rs.Thanks GeoVenture2020 for a fantastic series.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Millicent for a few days to grab some finds placed for the ill fated Mega because of Covid. Thanks for the hide. LNCU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are staying at Millicent for the week, finding some of the caches we should have found if we had not been prevented from attending the 2020 Mega by Covid19. Thanks for the cache. LNCU.
TFTC! 30 December 2023 7:20:37pm 6862After a full day of caching GV series, Rod series, and many caches in between. This suited on our way back into town! Loved the themes! All in great condition! Thanks for the novelty! Had to have a chuckle at this one! Wasnt sure what to expect but such a good choice!
Found by Rebel Acts in the company of The Empire, we were also joined by local hevwalker who helped us out with some required equipment for the days caching.
With it being School holidays in Victoria I had some time spare to head to Millicent where I teamed up with the Empire for a few days caching in the area, we had a fantastic time exploring the area. Today we tackled the The finding fish and DRB trails and a few other none trail caches that we past along the way. Then it was just the two of us to do the whine bottle before heading back into town for Dinner at the Pub for hevwalkers Birthday.
This is one of the caches found today.
Thanks for the cache.

Another day in sunny Millicent of caching goodness. Here again with Rebel Acts and now joined by hevwalker, we had business on the trail, some logbooks needed replacing and we were happy to sign the new ones. Thanks for all of the caches in this cool series GeoVenture2020!

This was the Suscoes final full day of caching in Millicent and in the surrounding areas for this trip.
We were with our good friends Phetlern again and we had another terrific day out finding a range of caches in all sorts of locations.
It was a foggy start to the day but it lightened as the day progressed and ended up a quite pleasant Winter's day with sunshine and no wind.
Thanks to GeoVenture2020, a nice hide.

A somewhat foggy start to our final day based in Millicent, with our caching buddies, Suscoe. As the fog cleared and the sun actually became warm, we had a fun day finding a variety of caches, multis & trads, singing our way along the themed trail.
Thanks GeocachingSA for placing an interesting little trail.

We found this cache today on our Millicent Meander - Day 1 in company of Maccamob, BecknMonts, McLookers, Alansee, and Muzza. Now on the west of Millicent. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Over in SA again with a cut down group of geocaches compared to last time. We felt it was time this group of Victorians found some Millicent caches, as we were banned from the mega! We are signing the logs as Vic1. Thanks for the sometimes challenging caches GeoVenture2020!
Found with a team consisting of BecknMonts, McLookers, Maccamob, Rabbitto, and Muzza. The day turned out to be better than expected and the caching was good too. Many thanks to the CO's for the placements.
Today was day 1 of a Millicent blitz with McLookers, Alansee, BeckNmonts, Maccamob and Rabbitto, all signed as Vic1.

Found by Mary and David, in company with McLookers, beckNmonts, Alansee, muzza, and Rabbitto (signing as VIC1), at at 16:26. This trip was planned to tackle the many caches around Millicent as we'd been locked down last year and unable to attend GV2020. Our thanks to GeocachingSA.
We have been allowed to travel to South Australia and our first stop was Bordertown then onto Millicent where we will spend a few days before heading towards Adelaide. Today we completed the DRB series that has popped up since we last cached here. All were found and in good condition, we replaced any log sheets if they needed replacing. SL TFTC

We met up with a few other teams at various times during the day and signed logs as misfits or mystery randoms.
A fun day was had with lots of caches found, lots of TOTTs used and very wet feet and legs, but we were lucky that the rain held off for most of the day.
Really enjoyed this series of caches thanks GeoVenture2020.

The great Geoventure 2020 tour....take 2...which is of course now in 2021 Once again it myself and AnyMules doing things that not many sane people would attempt. [:o)]
Day 2: Today we set out to do a few newer caches in and around Millicent. But as we were following the unfound boxes we found ourselves out at Mt. Burr and so it was onto the wonderful Native series, then a spot of Pole Fishing and then some more of the DRB series along with anything else we came across. If anything was particular interesting there will be a comment
Here.. Loved the camo but there was nothing attacked to it with the cable tie. Searched everywhere for the attachment...nada There is a nice tube with a Geoventure 2020 log now!
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks GeoVenture2020 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

And the caching goes on with ilook4geo. We wanted to keep the run going fairly quickly as the sky was looking very heavy and threatening rain. We had worked our a run sheet and we found most of the selection, but the hunt was shortened when it did start to rain - yet again. This was an easy cache to find and all was on good condition. Loved the attachments used for this series. Thanks for this cache go to GeoVenture2020.
Out on a cache hunt for the day with goingplaces2 and we had a lot of fun. Then it rained. Caches were found, logs were signed, each was replaced. Job done. TFTC.

Staying another day in the south east after the "Used 2B a Geoventure" celebration weekend.
There's such a choice of caches to find down here [8)]
( Hopefully we'll be back for the real Geoventure when it's able to go ahead )
"Still is a Geoventure", "Better Late than never", "Geoventure Resurrection" all came to mind for next year We're sure it'll be a blast!!!
Teaming up with Sebastbat, and JEM, we hit the tracks again today and headed, umm, thataway...
The weather which was "challenging" on the weekend had turned to a mild and pleasant sunny day. We're starting to really like it down here, but alas, "essential" work expects us home soon [|)]
We have one, or two, but we're not going becasue there are caches to find!!!
Thanks for placing and maintaining another great cache in this region of our state GeoVenture2020

Stay safe while caching, the things you touch can often be dirty,
wash your hands, wipe down your cache gear, stay on this side of the border ( it was tempting... )
sanitise, exercise, even wear a mask if the season makes you sneeze and cough, and
cache the countryside safely distanced at least an emu or an adult brown snake's length apart ! ! !
Have fun out there caching the regions ! ! !

Huge day out with the hound finding caches around Millicent and Mount Burr. Geohusband had to work so reassessed my plan as now the hound was in tow. He had already been out hunting for 2 hours before we left the farm so was already pretty tired. He was then super excited about the road trip and wore himself out even more before we started finding caches.
He loved his day and apart from a scary moment when he got bitten by something (thinking bull ant) on his paw he had a most excellent time. We found 40 caches and enjoyed the celebration event (Rex had burger and donut scraps). He was still puffed on Sunday night.
We found some really cool caches and thank all the CO and especially the Mega committee for all their splendid efforts. We love country caching.

Home is where the heart is
And my heart is anywhere you are
Anywhere you are is home
I don't need a mansion on a hill
That overlooks the sea
Anywhere you're with me is home

Maybe I'm a rolling stone
Who won't amount to much
But everything that I hold dear

For home is where the heart is
