Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Milang a few days to do the Nurragi track caches and to grab others in the area. That track done we are ranging further afield to grab some finds. Quick find. Thanks for the hide. LNCU
We visit Swan Hill, Mildura, Renmark, Barossa Valley, Victor Harbour, Tailem Bend and the last night at Ballarat. Stopped for few caches on the way. We had a lot of fun travelling these roads and seeing the farms and wildlife along the way. We found a range of caches. Many thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches.

The word in English for the number four is one of a kind, as it’s the only number that has the same number of letters as the value of the number itself!
The number four is the smallest composite number. A composite number is a positive number that is the result of multiplying two numbers that are lower than themselves. In this case, two times two gives us the number four.
It’s commonly believed that there are at least four dimensions. The first three are length, width, and depth, which make up physical objects. The fourth dimension, at least according to scientists, is commonly notated as time. If you hold an apple in your hand, that apple has length, width, and depth, which can easily be seen and measured. The apple’s fourth dimension is the time at which you are looking at it.
US President Franklin D. Roosevelt believed that everyone in the world should at least have four basic freedoms. In no particular order, these are Freedom from Want, Freedom of Speech, Freedom from Fear, and Freedom of Religion.
These days computers can store so much information that they work with gigabytes and terabytes of information. At the end of the day, though, computers still deal with millions of tiny amounts of data all the time. The most basic unit of information is known as a bit. Eight bits are known as a byte. Some practical joker was obviously involved in the naming of four bits (half a byte), as it’s known as a nibble!
The chemical element beryllium has the atomic number four. On the periodic table, it joins the other alkaline earth metals in group 2. A rare element, beryllium is a common component in the aerospace industry as it holds its shape in a wide range of temperatures and is incredibly lightweight!
Some of the most common engines used today are known as four-stroke engines. It doesn’t mean you need to stroke them four times to get them to work. Instead, in each of the engine’s cylinders, the piston has to move up or down four times, an action known as a stroke. The first stroke sucks the fuel into the cylinder, the second compresses the fuel, on the third stroke, the compressed fuel is ignited, and finally, the fourth stroke expels the exhaust. This is the process that creates mechanical energy that makes your car move!
The number four is present everywhere in baseball. To start with, there are four bases in the game. If the pitcher makes four mistakes in a row while throwing the ball, known as “balls,” then the batter gets to walk to the first base without actually hitting any balls. Finally, the most number of runs that a batter can score from one hit is four, which is most commonly known as a grand slam. This is possible when all the bases are loaded up with previous batters, and they all make it back to base in one hit.
The number four is considered unlucky in many Asian cultures, including China, Japan, and Korea. This is because the number four, sì, sounds very similar to the word for death, sǐ. Because of this, many buildings in Eastern Asia skip the fourth floor entirely and go from second to fifth!
If you look at any decent map of the world, you will notice that each country will be shaded in one of a select number of colors. If you look at any country, in particular, you’ll notice that the neighboring countries are all colored differently to make it easier to differentiate between them. Back in 1852, a man called Francis Guthrie discovered that the smallest total number of colors required to implement this is just four!

Another lovely day in Tailem bend with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies.
We drove down to Victor Harbor to do some AdLabs and assorted caches (and ride the tram out to the island). Unfortunately, it was drizzling, cold and generally miserable in Victor Harbor so we changed plans.
We thought we would try a few of these just to see what they were like with the aim of coming back another day. We ended up at #17.
We only stopped then because we were both soaked from the long wet grass.
Good sized containers for this series, but I think the logs could be a bit bigger.
Thanks, Robmc.

#20159. Day 19 of our holiday in SA . Plan A was to drive to Victor Harbor to do some AdLabs and take a trip out to Granite Island. It was a sunny morning when we left Tailem Bend. We did some caching on the way and as we neared VH the wet, cold, drizzly rain moved forward to meet us. Also with the start of the school holidays the place was so, so busy. We cut our losses and turned to Plan B - that was to head back to camp and grab a few more on the return trip if we could without getting too wet. Managed to find 28 caches and do a couple of AdLabs.
Noticed this series on the way to VH so thought we might do just a few if it wasn't too wet on the way home. Well, we did do quite a few and we were utterly soaked through by the time we gave it away and headed back to Tailem Bend.
Thanks Toxicmouse5

We had been saving the Bletchley trail of caches to do now to help us attain the December ‘Reach the Peak’ souvenirs.
We were able to find them all.

found with mogni. Out for a drive and grabbing a few caches we always seem to drive by then heading to Strathalbyn to complete the Bletchley series plus a few Roads that never were that where close to that power trail and then getting a few more strays on the way home.
Out on a caching day with BearyOrganised and Tigtog08. Nice quick find. Signed log Tftc
We decided to do this run of caches today with ilook4geo after the rain had stopped. They were all easy enough to find and each log was stamped, sometimes with difficulty as several were soaking wet. These have been noted on the appropriate pages.
Thank you to MooskaMouse for placing this series of caches.

No problems in finding this series of caches along with goingplaces2. Most were on good order with only a few having problems. Each cache was retrieved, the log was signed and all was replaced. Job done! TFTC.
Day 9 of our trip away, staying at Strathalbyn for a few nights on the way home from the Millicent Mega. Today’s focus was to pick up the Oz Mega Signal geoart.
138 finds for the day and 716 for the trip.

Night raid to get the numbers up for the weekend. Some were found, some were not. TFTC.
Chasing numbers this evening with Tweety2 & Bubbles8 and this was conveniently located to help us add to our tally. Off we set with torches at the ready and made fairly good progress, alas we didn’t quite get them all before the clock ticked over for a new day. TFTC!
Out chasing numbers again and today it was the October OTD and the Bletchley series and anything else that seemed like a good idea. Managed to finish what I'd planned just on dark with over 60 finds and only 2 DNFs.
The lid here was cracked.
Thanks to MooskaMouse for putting out this cache for me to find

What an awesome day! The weather was fabulous, we ventured around areas we normally fly pass on the highway.
We came across some beautiful scenic views, travelled roads not travelled before, searching cemeteries/graveyards for long lost relatives and even having lunch outside an old church.
Geocaching along the way, we had 3 DNF's, picked up 3 TB's and had an absolute ball/

I had almost all of March away from caching to concentrate on the Garden. Time to get back to working towards my goals for the year. Today I just needed a handful of cache finds to fill in my loop calendar. So it was back to this series to get them.[^]
All were quick finds and goal satisfied it was time to leave the rest for another day I need some more. Great to have this little series on hand to do that.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks MooskaMouse for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

After spending the day with our family we headed back to the caravan and decided that we had time to find a few caches. We found a wide variety of GZ styles. All caches are in good condition and required no maintenance. The other good thing we find with country road, there is very little traffic. Thanks for placing all of these caches for us to enjoy. Came to Strath to spend the day and clear a couple of geocaches in town, and do this series (which I guess could honour the famous Bletchley Park decrypting facility in England during WW2). I had not been on this road before. Thanks MooskaMouse.
After the SPLAT event at Shepherds Hill I decided to head to Strath and collect a few caches before catching up with my SIL who has recently moved to Strath.
I found 20 or so caches and had a great day out.

This afternoon after work, I headed to Strathalbyn primarily to complete the new *Bletchley* series, but also to visit a few others around the outskirts of Strathalbyn and in the town itself. It was a free evening for me, but one of the worst weather-wise - most of the evening it just drizzled and was damp, and walking through soursops and weeds had my runners drenched by the end of the night.
As mentioned, this series was my objective, and I had probably left these to later than anticipated. It was completely dark by the time I got going at 19:45 hr, and in the end, the whole series took me 1-1/4 hr. Most of the caches were reasonably quick to spot, with a few causing some grief. I also found the caches hidden quite away from the road, and having to walk through weeds and soursops tough to keep motivation, since they were full of water, and drenched my shoes and clothes. For the majority of the series, I didn't see any other cars, so probably not a bad location to have this power trail. I started at #1, and continued in order to #25. I do admit that I tried taking the small loop around the other way, going from #18 to #25, and the track quickly disappeared to a few fields and waist-high weeds, to a fence and bushes. I'm sure glad I stopped to survey my approach, and realised there was a full running creek with steep sides - there was no way that there was an existing track through that way.
For this cache, I pulled over nearby, and after a few minutes, I located the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks MooskaMouse for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Thanks MooskaMouse for this cache, and the series.
I had the most wonderful day caching. I met up with family at the Monarto junction and we headed south. Picked up 3 of 5 in the Monarto woodland, then completed all but 2 in Ferries McDonald. A GC phone app glitch had me without a GPS for all FM, I was disabled and without my usual directional ability. Thankfully my sister had complete control and guided us through the dense woodland to achieve all we set out to.
We headed across to Bletchley and had a wonderful lunch under a tree by a creek, and were joined by two more keen mugglets. With access to a hotspot I was able to reload the app and I was back in the land of GPS. The five of us headed off and collected every one of the Bletchley series, taking turns at finding based on which side of the car the cache was on. Thank you to MooskaMouse, CP Wanderer and Niftybridge for placing and maintaining these caches, it provided us with a stunning day of caching in awesome weather.

I had come for a drive down to Strath today to complete the new Adventure Lab along with the Bletchley caches and a couple of others that have been placed since the last time I was down here. [^] It was a nice day although a bit grey and windy, but I did find all the caches I looked for and when I had finished I revived with a nice mug of coffee and scones with jam and cream.
I started the Bletchley caches from #1 and found most of the caches quickly with a couple taking a bit longer as the GPSr settled down. Just as I was getting used to the containers and hides a couple of "others" popped up. Noted that #19 is disabled so I didn't attempt to go down that track and made my way around to the other end to finish the series.
Loved the drive along here with the lovely green and yellow crops and at one of the caches I disturbed a couple of big kangaroos and watched them bound away through the field. Bumped into weredunn4 coming the opposite way and we looked for one of the caches together.
Thanks for the cache and series MooskaMouse.

Found while staying in Strathalbyn for a few days. Found all in the series during a pleasant tour of the area. Thanks for the cache and series MooskaMouse!
In and around Strathalbyn with Trigger_Fish this afternoon trying to dodge raindrops which we did for the most part...
A great little trail with mostly easy finds and containers in good shape...
