There are some really beautiful buildings in this town. The precision of the stonework is amazing. Tftc

After a quick visit to the church plaque, and some calculations we headed off and soon had it in hand. Thanks for an interesting cache.
What a fascinating town this is with all sorts of interesting buildings and rich with history. This church is just one of many fascinating places to visit. A quick walk after the calculations and we had the container in hand TFTC.
TFTHSpending a few days in Burra so of course need to find some caches. First one - easy find
On the way to Perth and detour. Find it and sign the log. Thanks for the cache and hunt.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 6 - Morgan to Jamestown via Burra and Hallett. After a fun day around Morgan yesterday, it was time to move on. A very cold night last night. I did a few roadside caches along the way, but I spent most of my caching day around Burra. I have done quite a bit of caching in Burra before, but it was great to see a wonderful collection of caches to be attempted today. I even managed two sets of Labs, including a good walk around the mine site. As I headed over to Jamestown, there were a few caches that drew attention to the huge wind farms on all of these ridge lines. My last cache ended up pretty much being where I stopped to camp for the night. Into town for dinner tonight. After walking around for the Labs, I wandered over to this old building to do this multi. Nice straight forward questions and a short walk to a caching hide that was very achievable. Thanks for the cache froghoppin46459.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & May 2019 Dead Men Tell No Tales A#400**Albida**
We love this series and anytime we are in SA we try to complete one. So on this quick stop for ice creams we found this. Thanks for the fun
TFTC froghoppin your cache Used 2B a Church Micro #0180 that we found today. After spending the last 3 weeks in and around Shepparton we are now on the move , heading to Yorke Peninsula. This is day 4 of or travel time. After breakfast we set out to cache around this heritage town First we met up with honeysucker who was in town. Then we headed out to explore using caching as a bit of a guide.Find Count: 17516
Naughtybunny and I went for a walk at night after a big drive to Burra. It was good to be here and settle in for a couple of days. The former church was amazing, just like so many of the buildings around here. We gathered the clues and went back to our room. Did the calculations and in the morning we went off to grab the final, which was found quite quickly. TNLN. Cheers.
Another multi and another froghoppin cache on our little trip up North. We popped out for a walk to stretch our legs after the long drive, and collected the info last night, and then went to GZ the following morning.TFTC froghoppin
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Did the calculations and made a quick find.
Another cache in this never ending series, cache found with a nice view and is all good
Today after my own two events in the city I decided to head away for a night of camping, caching along the way mainly focusing on caches yet to be found around the Goyder LGA, by the days end I found myself camped up in Caroona Creek Comservation Park. A great day out enjoying the SA country side and found around 60 caches
Thanks for the cache

I’m hopeless with these, so looked and felt and looked and felt, and was about to give up when I spied it. TFTC

Solved and found with Coybear2000. We'd stayed in Burra overnight and the next morning we visited the listed co-ords and obtained the needed info. We did our calculations over breakfast then headed to GZ. Soon had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and we continued on our wander around Burra. TFTC.

Cache find _ on day _ of Rutherglen trip now on to work trip to Adelaide.
I usually avoid multicaches, but after completing the FTF multicaches at the Rutherglen mega I’m more open to checking them out. I’m having a nice walk around burra finding geocaches caches I’ve came here a few times a year. This was an easy find after double checking my cords fun to do.
Thanks for placing this cache froghoppin

Heading to Worlds end for a Weekend of fun, frivolity and camping where we didn't discuss JLWE and certainly no locations for 2023. We nipped into Burra to do a butchers run. This was a quick find and we where sprung by a Muggle called Gunnie.. After a chat about geocaching and we mentioned that we were camping at Worlds end, and he said that he had some friends camping there for the weekend. Scotty, Gary & Christian..LOL..Firesafe, Honeysucker and Chrispy89 who were camping with us!! Small world!. TFTC
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. Another bitterly cold, wet day today and the sky is still touching the ground, a perfect day to Geocache.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA, fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Our thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

Found the info, photographed it, did the sums and around the corner we went. Mr M found it and then sent Mrs M in to retrieve and sign as his back isn't happy today.

RoadieR isn't a fan of multies but we are enjoying some relaxed caching while staying in Burra for the weekend and we have time to do some.
This was hilarious. We'd no sooner pulled up near the church when a muggle on a motor bike parked right in front. Turns out he lives there, and took an age to get inside. I had just reached the plaque when the neighbour came out and rummaged around in his car..parked right there!
I decided it was prudent to take a photo rather than try and solve the co-ords in situ. While sitting there working them out the owner/bikie came from around the corner with his pooch and took the bike around the corner. He gave us quite a quizzical look.
Co-ords in hand, we walked to GZ, found the cache, stamped and back to the car before any more muggling incidents.
Thanks for the cache froghoppin.

Today we enjoyed caching along the Worlds End Highway through Robertstown and into the Worlds End Gorge. After completing those caches we then continued to Burra to do the Lab cache and a couple of multis that have been published since we were there last.

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about so I targeted this cache.
Multis are usually not my thing, so it wasn't surprising to me to find a lot in my found database that hadn't been logged.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!
Thanks froghoppin (F=17902 H=116) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

Always happy to add another smiley to the Used 2B series. We fueled the vehicles up and then grabbed what was needed to get to GZ. Nice quick find when we arrived. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
We are heading up to the Townsville Mega with micaparamedic, geoturtle37 and papi4056 after having a couple of days in Berri after completing the On Your Bike Series.
Our main aim today is the Lab caches in Burra but we were not going to go passed any others that are close by.
Well these things just keep popping up and we also enjoyed reading about it and learning a bit of history. After fueling the cars we collected the required information , did the calculations and headed off to gz. Here the cache was a nice quick find right where the GPSr pointed and we happily added our names to the log.
Many thanks froghoppin for another one in this never ending series.

Went for an evening walk, got the information required, lucky I’m partly local. Knew what direction to go in, soon had the cache in hand. TFTC.
I had been getting itchy feet and wanting to get out in the bush camping again, so decided to do an overnighter to the mid-north.
Unfortunately the weather forecast wasn’t great, but aside from a couple of showers in the morning as I was heading north from Adelaide, the occasional bit of patchy light rain on and off through the first day was not enough to detract. And the temperatures in the mid-20s were very pleasant!
However, today was a different matter. The light rain started at about the time I woke up and steadily got heavier as the morning progressed. It resulted in some rather muddy roads and caused me to change my plans a little.
My main targets were once again multis. Again, most were Used2Bs or similar single or simple 2 or 3 stage multis that didn’t take too long.
Despite the weather, I had an excellent day of caching, finding 23 caches in total. All but one, for which I ended up making a couple of phone calls, were found easily. All of the containers and contents were in good condition.
The only downside was the need to dry things off and get the mud off the car when I got home.
Thanks froghoppin for the cache.

The Non Wangaratta Event Tour 2021!
Covid has postponed the Mega in Victoria until January but leave had been granted for AnyMules to attend with me and Bushfire. So Anymules and I went on a tour to Eyre Peninsular and mid north South Australia instead whilst Bushfire joined us in spirit only as covid meant he couldn't come here either. Not needing anything for my yearly goals I hoped I didn't add too many to the DNFs [B)]
Day 6: Time to head home, caching as we go.
Another Used 2B church micro - our fourth for the day! A quick find in the obvious spot.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks froghoppin for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Despite the threat of rain, we spent the day traipsing around Burra, collecting info for various smileys.
Collected this one just as a local fired up a nearby lawn maintenance machine, so it was a quick sign and replace here!

After finally completing my DT grid, after just 9 years !? What to do on my last day of holidays ….. finish a challenge by finding my 95th LGA. As I plotted how to go about it, I knew I had promised to visit Mum in Kapunda. A drive developed into an overnighter at Paxton square cottages in Burra and travelling as north as Peterborough. Mum was happy just to be out of the house, and even though I did most of the Millicent driving I fueled up with enough coffee to make it through the day.
Coffee and bakery in Clare, Jamestown for a quick hello to RMW and part of an adventure, 2 caches in a Town with lots of Ms in its name and then Devonshire tea to celebrate the occasion in PB. Check into accomodation and then a quick multi and a run around the mine for some adventures stops.

Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Spending a few days in Kapunda before heading to York Peninsula. We nearly got washed away yesterday in the yukky weather but today has far more promise so we set off to explore Burra. Even with a stop at the Burra Butcher. Had some hiccup with a bad load of caches into the GPSr but thankfully had all available on the phone.
Love the history that is shared with us here through Geocaching yet again.

An amazing part of Burra's history.
If only these could talk and tell us the history.
It's great to be able to travel and see so many quaint little country towns.
As we meander down towards GeoVenture 2020 (in 2021), Millicent, we stopped to put a smiley here.
It's wonderful to explore SA through the eyes of a Geocacher,
especially when it takes us to such interesting places.
We found your cache and with signing duties done and dusted,
we replace the cache as found.

Out for an afternoon drive with geo hubby Animal62 to Burra & decided to finish off the Used 2b a church series in the area. After collecting all the info needed we headed off to the coordinates & found the cache. We signed & dated the log then returned the cache back to its hiding spot.

Was in Burra mainly for the AdLab but noticed a couple of Used2Bs and being a pagan have always been a bit partial to a Used2B church so had to put them on the list too. Ended up being after dark before starting these two, decided to visit both given co-ords and get finals before looking for either. Had quite a nice chat to the current owner here who is well aware of the geo interest in his dwelling and has no problem with it. Another quick find again thanks to the hint.
Thanks to froghoppin for putting this cache out here for me to find.

Day 1
It just wouldn't be a holiday with out grinding a few more of this church mirco's out. quick solve and find.
found with Mogni and Jacknor. We where heading up Carrieton for a couple of days and then on to the Flinders Rangers for 5 days. The plan was to find as many of the church multi's as we could going up and then bright and early the next day head off to the " Bendleby Ranges " 4 x 4 tracks. Then clear the next section of multi's between Carrieton and Rawnsley Station and of course a few stray trads that would help Jacknor's jasper grid. A straight week of over 30 degrees meant less hiking than planned but we still got to the top of Rawnsley Bluff as well as some other smaller hikes. The Rawnsley station 4 x 4 track was completed and by then it was time to decamp and start the drive home. Stopped at orroroo and cleared the town out before going back to the church multi grind. All caches that where found that were brittle or damaged were replaced and extra logs added to those caches that the scroll was full or almost full, except for nano's. Nano's are evil spawn and you can do your own maintanence on them.

Now the borders are opening up a bit, stay safe, sanitise,
and keep socially distant at least 150 Nanos apart ! ! !

Found on our way to Broken Hill, stopping for caches between Burra and Terowie, with a few short detours off the main highway along the way. Thanks for the cache froghoppin!
The three of us headed up north for a caching weekend, to attend events in Peterborough, Melrose and Clare over three days. We had a great caching trip and found 36 caches along our travels.
Thanks to the hint, this cache was located quickly.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache froghoppin.
PS: Sorry for the late log. I'm slowly catching up with my backlog of finds. If it wasn't for the excellent GSAK software, I would have lost track of many of the caches I've found.

Found It!
Jesus has left the building. The nearby lawn bowls club was busy today though. An interesting bit of history at GZ and a quick find with the hint!

Back this morning for what used 2B an attempt at an FTF. Alas it ended up being a silver. Thems the breaks. TFTC
Thanks to H423L we realised we had a typo in the text now all fixed and a correct GZ should be found.
I was coming home from Melrose, via Burra, so I could do the labs and bonus cache with the geokids... then up cropped a cpl of new multis too.
Did the calcs, doesn't look right! Played with a number and got a good GZ, but nothing matched the hint. So shot off a PAF to CO, and the problem was in hand to fix.
Re-did calcs and headed off to GZ for a quick find.
This series is never ending?
Dropped my *FTF* geocoin through too.

Thanks and sorry to snatch the FTF from H423L too.

Calculated numbers. Well that looks wrong. Reached out to CO but unfortunately no go. Will have to try again another day.
