Found by The Empire + HThe warmth of the day still lingered despite the lack of sunshine, creating a peaceful, almost dreamlike atmosphere as we began our drive this morning. The countryside around us was alive with the freshness of spring, and along the roadside, patches of native orchids peeked out from the undergrowth. Their delicate pinks, whites, and purples added bursts of colour to the landscape, standing out against the green hills and eucalyptus trees. A quick find here! Thanks for the cache Ghosty7.-M

Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Murray Bridge to cache the surrounds. Last day in the area so making the most of it. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches. Thank you Ghosty7
We enjoyed a few days away from home, enjoying the scenery, the people we met and, of course, finding cachesThanks to all who made this an enjoyable week.
Quick and easy drive by. Mrs Riddells is on cache duty today. Cache and log ok. Nice camo. Thanks for the cache.
Find # 14007I'm in the Adelaide area for the Great Leap Forward event. Not just for the days event, but making it a week long trip of caching n catching up with mates.Flying solo......Day 8. Homeward-bound.Day started off with a tree climb and a big stretch off the ground. Then a bit of a look around Mt Barker. Then it was the trails. It's been a while since I've hit a long trail and being alone it was just me and the caches to fill the rest of the day in. Some power trails are tougher than others, ie parking locations and barriers can be annoying and chew up time. But happily I managed all hurdles. Even the odd orb spider that made some tracks mazes. Happily that what I'd pland out fell into place with only a couple of DNFs.End of day was a surprise with my biggest solo grab of over 300 in a day. But I have plenty more trails in SA to utilise if I want to better that score TFTC Ghosty7
We headed back out of town today to try to wipe out a few more of the many in the area. This road was an offshoot of the one we were focused on so couldn't be ignored. A quick find, TFTC

After spending time among the " Australian Mountain Peaks" - (cache series of course) we had fun with this cache, along with our caching companions Suscoe.
Thanks to Ghosty7 for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Suscoe was out and about enjoying a day of caching with our very good friends Phetlern.
It was a delightful day, blue skies and sunshine. Hard to imagine it is still Winter.
We found lots of caches today, The AMP Series, The SAR Series, The “Straya” Challenge caches and a few other nearby traditional and multis as we wandered to the North East of Murray Bridge. We had fun using a range of TOTT at a few caches as well.

A nice quick find with CherryRose as the afternoon started to close in. We’d been out trying to get enough caches to finish the latest challenge but I will have to come back before the end of the month as I am pretty sure I haven’t yet got my hundred. TFTC TNLNSL

31,206. Found with minniek and albida33 (signing either as FAM or MAF to save room and just for fun) during another great day of caching in South Australia).
Rutherglen Mega and South Australia Trip Day 14. Today we headed out to drive the Straya series of Challenges plus we also managed to complete the Australian Mountain Peaks (AMP) and South Australian Rivers (SAR) series with a few bonus caches thrown in. A great days caching with no Did Not Finds which was also a bonus. This was the next find of the day, and a quick find once at GZ. Signed, replaced, and then we headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks Ghosty7 !!

Southern Autumn adventure Day 15. Post Mega South East SA trip Day 9. Our second day spent in Tailem bend was to target the Straya Challenge series. This did not take all day so we were able to get to the Australian Peaks series and the South Australian Rivers series. It was interesting to see some of the 2014 Mega sites re-used. With the end of the day closing in we targeted a bit of the newer section of Wandering heroes, as usual a wide variety of caches in this series. Today is was Fitzy_195, MinnieK and Albida33 and we signed as F.A.M. or similar.

Day 14 of our loop through Vic and SA then home.
Today fitzy_1965, albida33 & I headed out early to get the caches in the area. We signed as MAF or FAM to save room.
Our aim was to collect the nearby Challenges, then the River & Peaks series and anything in between. Once we understood the hints on the River series, it made the finds so much easier….a clever idea. A great day with no DNF’s.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

We got 131 finds and 1 DNF for the day. We did the AMP ( Australia Mountain Peaks ) and SAR ( south Australian Rivers ) plus some of the Bindi's GeoMobiles series.

Quick stop here today, nicely found cache and is all good.
With my days numbered in SA I had a few targets that I have wanted to tick off put around Murray bridge and the surrounding areas to find. With the work finished in the early morning I set off for a nice day tackling the virtual at Monarto, ice cream series, lost wanders series and the Aussie Challenges plus a few others along the way, total of just over 100 finds for the day.

Found by Mary and David at 10:45. Cached around Murray Bridge today, finishing the AMP series and others close by. A FP for the great camo. Our thanks to Ghosty7.
A weekend away in Murray Bridge for some R & R and of course caching! Out today to tackle a couple of trails and a few new ones that have popped up since we were here last. This one nearly ended up being a long drawn out find, had I not been too observant!! TFTC
Swan Reach to Murray Bridge staying in the showground.
Weather quite overcast but we headed out to do the mountain series & a few others along the way.
Road works along the way so we missed a couple.

Another cache hunt on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
We are off to finish the AMP Series today and pick up a few others along our route. TFTC Ghostly7, log is nearly full, sorry we didn't have a replacement with us.
We are enjoying our time in SA, but it is time to slowly head back West again. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

Another good cache down this little strip of road, thanks for hiding it here for feathertop’s and my name to be added to the log.
Heading to Karoonda and surrounds for some geocaching. My first visit to this area so huge amounts of unfound caches waiting for me.
A large assortment of AMP, Wandering Heros and independent caches tackled. The caches found were selectively chosen either to fill missing cells in my 360 degrees from home grid (5 times around) or due to favourite points.
Lots of different cache owners meant lots of different cache containers many with unique themes which made the day very enjoyable.
Thanks for the cache Ghosty7.

Accurate coordinates and something interesting led to a quick find of a well designed and presented cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Ghosty7 for the cache.
We flew back in from Perth and then picked up our car from the airport and are heading up to meet up with friends to have a go at the On Ya Bike series. Of course we weren't going to drive passed any caches that we happened to be coming close to and this was one of them.
We were going through picking up the alps series and although enjoyable these few caches gave us a break from the obvious hides.
Again we pulled up near gz not knowing what to look for or how long it was going to take and we were both surprised and happy when the cache was located in the first place we looked right where the GPSr was pointing. Again we added our name to the log and returned everything as it was before heading off to the next one.
Many thanks again Ghosty7 for a well cammo'ed hide.

Today we are starting a new journey with Brisal5, our aim is to have a fun day and make loads of memories. Laughing was a main priority and there was plenty of this. We did the Happy Arm Pit series, some more Wandering heroes, SAR, ice-cream and AMP. All caches that needed any repairs were fixed. The short story is that we had a great day. SL TFTC
Muff1 had snuck across the border to hit some power trails and were staying in Tailem Bend at present. Hey, I have a few down there I would like to get - so it was off to meet them for a long day caching. [^] We did some newish ones along Wandering heroes and that led us into the Happy Armpit Series. Early visit to the Tailem Bend Bakery for an early lunch and then it was off for Ice-Cream for dessert followed by South Australian Rivers and Australian Mountain Peaks series. Skipped stopping for any tea and continued unstill after dark by torchlight to finally completes the series.
SAR AND AMP SERIES:
A short detour from the series has us looking for this cache which I found easily. Clever hide.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again I will trying to get the other two this year. [^] Should be easy as I only have to get two multi caches in July from the lockdown and couldn't get out. [:o)] The other was DNF's that came down from over 50 to the low teens before blowing out again but I really want to see only single a single digit this year.
***Thanks Ghosty7 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

so glad this cache was relatively easy to find! would have been such a tragedy to have a dnf on a spob - fortunately my trip to Mt Gambier via the Bridge yeilded a few finds and gave me much needed brain space- so tyftc and sltnln
Headed down to the Murray Bridge area today for my first full day of caching for far too long. The primary aim was the new geoart Ice-cream series with the secondary target being the recent River Views AdLab. As both were by the same CO decided to concentrate on her other caches in the time that was left. Ended up finding 6 caches by other COs and 42 by Ghosty7.
Third of ten Ghosty7 caches found after completing her Ice-cream geoart and River Views AdLab. After deciding on the right tree the cache was quickly spotted but not quite the size I was expecting.
Thanks to Ghosty7 for placing this cache for us all to find

Grabbing a few more caches in this series. Cache and contents are all good TFTC
Owl was looking for a regular, so it was WARBAV who found the cache. Nice cammo.
Borders are open (sorta) and Christmas is fast approaching so this can only mean one thing, WATBAC returns to SA to spend time with family and friends. This can also only mean one thing, that a caching day out with my geomum, Doctor Owl, was long overdue and very much needed (because apparently I am not great at finding time to go caching otherwise). So I sent a text to let Doctor Owl know that I was in town and Doctor Owl let me know that she had some maintenance to do on some of her Wandering Heroes caches. Perfect, there are a lot of them that I haven't done (in that I had previously only done about 10). So off we went...
Took a bit of time trying to work out which tree it was that was the right or wrong tree to bark up but then I noticed something odd in one of them and had a closer look. Bingo. A very small container for a regular but nice camo. TFTC.

Today I headed to Naracoorte for a friends 50th celebrations at Farmers Leap. I was supposed to be leaving home at 9am which became 11am, I blame a very busy week at work.
So ended up with just enough time to find 40 caches. It was a super day for caching and didn’t see any snakes although I am sure they saw me.
Then on to Naracoorte and copious amounts of bubbles it was in my destiny.

I was heading to Murray Bridge for an evening event and decided to get some caches during the afternoon to make the trip worthwhile. I met up with skuzzybear and SA Sewer Rats at Mt Pleasant and we just went from there and covered quite a distance before arriving at the event and along the way I found my 14,000th cache which was pretty cool.
Came out this way to grab a few caches that had appeared since I was last here. A quick find by SA Sewer Rats before I even got to GZ.

Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Spending a few days in Murray Bridge today we headed out to tackle a few more caches.

Neat cache, nice work, I like it, simple and effective. Glad to be out here again, and happy to be finding your cache.
Found after performing some maintenance on a dozen or so in the SAR series.

Found with hevwalker on our day of caching....we met up with froghoppin and Mattycat around noon to discover new cache trails and search high and low for smiley faces. Great stories shared and made today as we cached the trails in the area. Great cache hide. TFTC OZGrumpy.
Found on a full, fun day caching with scramping, froghoppin & Mattycat...
When I first saw this I freaked out and I just caught a glimpse of the cache as it was revealed...
Nice work on the camo...

Arrived with Mattycat for a days caching adventure catching up with Scramping and Hevwalker to tackle a few series down this way, this cache of three gave us a nice diversion from tackling the mountain series, another well camoflouged hide but soon spotted

A great day to find a cache (every day is a nice day for that!)
An even better day to team up with froghoppin, then Hevwalker and Scramping, for a few more caches.
Quite a few it turned out. This was one of them!
Wandered off from the mountain path to find a tree. Neatly hidden.
Grateful thanks to Ghosty7 for hiding this cache on our SA geo map game board

Most Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about especially away from the city crowds,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
