Day 15 of my interstate trip. Today I left Grenfell and continued to head closer to Sydney. Tonight I stayed in the Mount York Campground unfortunately it was dark when I arrived so had to wait till morning to see how nice the views from this spot. I managed to find 19 caches today and ended up with 3 DNF's today.Graet area well worth a cache. Nice hide.TFTC tandm86
After spending an awesome weekend at Lameroo for the JLWE , we are taking the long way home, collecting counties and any other caches of interest. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
When in town for Eisteddfod you just have to find to a cache! Geokid down time playing in the park
A very draining experience......lol. Have to come back to this cache as the park was very crowded the day before.TFTC.
Quick find, took longer to access! Managed to get the log out to sign.TFTC
Didnt think Id have a high chance since the last few couldnt find it, found it pretty stuffed in so not surprised they couldnt find it. Replaced it less far/stuffed in so it wasnt covered in cobwebs and stuff.
On our way to the Mega in Canberra, and stopped in Cowra for a few nights.Looked both from the top and the bottom with no success.
The second day of our geo adventure holiday, after camping down by the river at Darby Falls, we set off to explore the Cowra region as it is somewhere we have never ventured and with lots of history to explore
Well, this holiday is all about taking the time to see some of the amazing gems that you find while geocaching
Nice easy find in a really nice park

Cowra trip Winter 2023 Day 1. I have been watching the growing number of caches in and around Cowra so I felt it was time to head out there and see how I could go trying to find them. The Canberra weather was pretty dreary, but it got nicer the further west I went. The caching was a bit up and down, I was happy to find some rally difficult caches, but then failed to find others. Late on the first day there was a huge storm downpour, so I was happy to be able to retreat into a hotel room for the night and have a great dinner downstairs in the front bar.
This is a great park and the weather was good too, but no one else was here and I soon saw this neatly hidden cache.
Thanks for the cache tandm86

#20974. Day 4 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. Having spent a 2nd night in Cowra we had plenty of things to do before leaving and heading to Temora. Naturally we had to have a visit to the Japanese Gardens where we enjoyed a beautiful lunch in the sunshine after our walk and we did some more caches before leaving.
This took us a while looking up and down and round and round. Fortunately, Rob did finally spot it so we added our names and contnued on our way.
Thanks tandm86

Day four on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are heading to Cowra and back. Today we were around Cowra for the morning then traveling to Temora.
Starting to head home.
Another quiet park this morning.
It was up from our point of view.
Thanks, Robmc.

Cowra. Staying at the showground. Day 2
Cowra is certainly an interesting town, this showed in the amazing locations that we found caches around town. Although we did comment on the many micro caches in town.
Glad we cached in the morning as by lunch time it had started to rain again
So many lovely parks in town
Thankyou to all the CO's for placing these caches.

Out Cowra for a mates Birthday and came for this cache. Quiet today and after a walk around, found the cache. SL and replaced.
Staying in the area for a few days and couldn't resist the urge to collect a few caches. My geokid was keen to join me this afternoon and off we headed.
We arrived at the location and headed in the direction of the cache. At one point I lost my geokid as he ran off for a quick play in the park. Once he had had a quick play he joined me for the search.
We arrived at GZ and I gave him the hint. He had a good look but nothing was located. He finally gave in and allowed me to do my search and quick find for me. We signed the log and returned as found.

The fourth day of geocaching with Team Canary, Brewmaker, Noodles21, ziggiau and Rainbow Spirit. After lots of walking in Wattle Flat on Wednesday, for Thursday we would take it easy and drive up to Cowra for many more solved Joswa caches, that would not require a lot of walking.
On our return back to Bathurst, we also visited some of the beautiful places in between; Carcoar, Blaney and King Plains.
Logs were signed with the team name BRINTZ. TFTC!

A couple of turns around the Bandstand, a read of some previous logs and hey presto it was in hand. Music to our ears. TFTC

Found on a day trip to Cowra. I was up and down in and out but found it in the end
Signed DSD. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.

We decided that it was time to go on a day trip to Cowra to look for some of the new caches that had popped up in the area since we were last there. Texted Rapidlywild to see if she was interested in joining us on for the journey. It was a pretty cold day with the winds but thankfully no rain which was a bonus. No DNF's for us today which was a great and all caches were found pretty quickly and we managed to get all of the caches we targeted with a couple of labs thrown in for good measure.
Quick grab here and signed and were on our way in fading light.
Thanks for the hide tandm86 and thanks for a good day out Rapidlywild.

The FFLL ladies had decided they wanted to go on a little tiki tour around Cowra and reached out with an invite, yes please It was a cold day however the rain held off and we were able to achieve our target area and managed to clean up again for a while. We completed 2 labs and a heap of trads and assorted caches which included an unexpected FTF.
A nice easy find here, signed and replaced as found. Hardest part of this one was removing the container from its hide location as it was pretty tightly wedged in.
Thanks for the hides tandm86 And thanks to the FFLL ladies for a fun day out and about around Cowra [^].

Fitzy_1965 and I decided to head to Cowra for the weekend. We had a late sleep in then hit the road.
As it has been a few years since we were last here, there has been a nice number of new caches in the area. Fitzy had kept himself busy by doing all the puzzling before headed out. Always good to find a Joshwa27 cache or two along with caches by others along the way.
We had a fun couple of days and found a nice camp spot for our second night in using the van instead of our tent. Definitely warmer than Bathurst last weekend.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Many thanks to the CO’s.

28,212. Found with minniek during a fun weekend run up to Cowra.
Over many years of caching runs around and through Cowra I have come to really enjoy this town with some amazing history. We had previously - after many visits - finally 'cleaned out' Cowra, so it was fantastic to see many new caches by Joshwa27 and tandm86 (plus some others) appearing everywhere. So much so that we decided on a last minute run up this way this weekend. A post lunchtime departure from Goulburn led to a mid afternoon arrival in Cowra where we knocked off about 16 caches. This was the next one. Quick find at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed to the next one on our list.
Thanks tandm86 !!

Walked around several times, but a DNF. I checked the T rating of only 1.5, and so didn't consider searching high up.
JB smiled the whole time finding this cache, she grew up playing here with her old family home 50m away. She made the find too. Awesome. SL TFTC
After a weekend at the Bathurst 6 Hour it was time to head home grabbing some caches along the way TFTC
In Cowra for an annual event and had the day today to do some caching before it starts.
Quite a quaint park and really liked the old bandstand, you don't see these much these days. Took me a little while to spot then just had to decide how I would grab. FP for location and neat hide.
