Tftc, Lou and Paul from the Blue Mountains NSW. Travelling with Savannah. Cache in good order.
Reperio 15:50Day 6 of our NSW south eastern caching tour, and Master Vitruvius and I today travelled from just outside of the ACT to home in Orange. With a number of caches left to do around Murrumbateman and Yass, we stopped by a few in this area before taking an extended route back home to Orange. Our final day was another fantastic day of caching, with very few caches that went unfound.Gratias tandm86As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Had to look a bit in the half dark, but, we found it! Woohoo.greetings from across the seas. Bremer Rasselbande
Tankengine, Youban and I left Bathurst and the team to do their own thing, while we headed home - some of us have to work tomorrow. So along the way we picked up a few caches. This cache: A quick find and sign then, back on the road again. Tftc!!!
Travelling with Tankengine and Dty73 back to Canberra. Stopped at this one quick find. Kutgw

Day 15 of my interstate trip. Today I left Grenfell and continued to head closer to Sydney. Tonight I stayed in the Mount York Campground unfortunately it was dark when I arrived so had to wait till morning to see how nice the views from this spot. I managed to find 19 caches today and ended up with 3 DNF's today.Spent a while looking but got it in the end.TFTC tandm86

Over in the area heading for Canberra to attend the Easter Mega with tmann421Tons of caches done while here and this was one of them.Enjoyed the touring around and all the containers foundLog signed tm/ww NZThanks for the placement and the effort put into maintaining these hides for us to find.
*In Cowra with woolwood9 today.* Weather caused some frustration with rain off and on again today. We managed to get the container found here! SL *tm/ww NZ**Thanks for the reason to stop and I appreciate the effort in setting up these caches!*
#1887Having driven up from Melbourne for the Canberra GeoBash Mega, The Welder and I decided to head up further north for a few nights staying in Umina Beach and even make it as far as Frying Pan in Dungog, one of Australias oldest caches. But its now the downward trip home with some big long drives. Last night we stayed in Cowra and today our destination is back home in Melbourne. But there is no better way to break up the trip with some caches particularly as there is still some LGAs in NSW we dont have. This was a simple park and grab, although cache was fairly exposed at arrival at gz. Thanks for the cache
First cache of the day, but not my first log of the day - having had a near miss on the roads in the wee hours when Heymissjo and I encountered a logging truck which had smashed through a fallen gum tree on the highway just a few kilometres shy of Cowra. Two other logging trucks pulled over and the 4 of us did our best to remove the splintered wreckage off the highway. It was a green of a scene - splintered logs everywhere. And as geocachers, we know theres nothing worse that a damaged log.Fortunately, that wasnt the case here. In fact the cache was in pristine condition. It was so pleased with how it looked that it had come out from its hide and was sunbaking on the grass!Heymissjo and I signed in and then replaced the cache most a little more circumspection and modesty. Thanks for bringing us here for a little local history. Now, off for some brekky before heading home to Melbourne - with a few select detours, of course!!
Freddo loves Fred. The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of Oz Mega GeoBash MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza, e_smilie, and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Adelaide to Broken HillDay two. Broken Hill to WellingtonDay three. Wellington to CowraDay four. Cowra to BathurstDay five. Bathurst to CanberraDay six. Canberra to CanberraDay seven. Canberra to QueenbeeyanDay eight. Canberra to AdelaideThe generic bit.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. The road stretched out before us, an endless ribbon of asphalt disappearing into the horizon as we embarked on a long journey from Newcastle to Melbourne. Armed with snacks, good music, and a spirit of adventure, we set off early in the morning, ready to tackle the 15-hour drive. Our next destination was Cowra, a place that carried a poignant reminder of Australia's past. Thanks for the cache tandm86.

Cowra trip Winter 2023 Day 1. I have been watching the growing number of caches in and around Cowra so I felt it was time to head out there and see how I could go trying to find them. The Canberra weather was pretty dreary, but it got nicer the further west I went. The caching was a bit up and down, I was happy to find some rally difficult caches, but then failed to find others. Late on the first day there was a huge storm downpour, so I was happy to be able to retreat into a hotel room for the night and have a great dinner downstairs in the front bar.
I was happy to see this cache had been replaced since I was here last. I still managed not to see it for way too long, but I am now in the new log.
Thanks for the cache tandm86

Day 4 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. Having spent a 2nd night in Cowra we had plenty of things to do before leaving and heading to Temora. Naturally we had to have a visit to the Japanese Gardens where we enjoyed a beautiful lunch in the sunshine after our walk and we did some more caches before leaving.
A DNF for us at this nice monument today. This one has had a string of DNF's since October last year. Time for a maintenance check I believe.

Day four on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are heading to Cowra and back. Today we were around Cowra for the morning then traveling to Temora.
Starting to head home.
A nice sculpture, but no find for us here today.
Thanks, Robmc.

Bathurst trip October 2022. Day 1. I heard there was to be a Community Celebration Event in Bathurst on Tuesday, so I planned on a two day camping caching trip to join in. Rain threatened both days but only fell a few times, except overnight when it seemed to rain all night. The trip was Canberra, Cowra, Bathurst, Millthorpe, Orange, Bathurst and home again via Cowra. I managed lots of caches and enjoyed the trip away.
I had a bit of a look here, but I was not sure which of a bout four trees to concentrate on, so with the previous DNF, I will try again on another trip.
Thanks.

Found it on the 3rd tree. Thanks for this one all good here on a chilly evening
We decided that it was time to go on a day trip to Cowra to look for some of the new caches that had popped up in the area since we were last there. Texted Rapidlywild to see if she was interested in joining us on for the journey. It was a pretty cold day with the winds but thankfully no rain which was a bonus. No DNF's for us today which was a great and all caches were found pretty quickly and we managed to get all of the caches we targeted with a couple of labs thrown in for good measure.
Quick grab here and signed and were on our way in fading light.
Thanks for the hide tandm86 and thanks for a good day out Rapidlywild.

The FFLL ladies had decided they wanted to go on a little tiki tour around Cowra and reached out with an invite, yes please It was a cold day however the rain held off and we were able to achieve our target area and managed to clean up again for a while. We completed 2 labs and a heap of trads and assorted caches which included an unexpected FTF.
A nice easy find here, signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the hides tandm86 And thanks to the FFLL ladies for a fun day out and about around Cowra [^].

Fitzy_1965 and I decided to head to Cowra for the weekend. We had a late sleep in then hit the road.
As it has been a few years since we were last here, there has been a nice number of new caches in the area. Fitzy had kept himself busy by doing all the puzzling before headed out. Always good to find a Joshwa27 cache or two along with caches by others along the way.
We had a fun couple of days and found a nice camp spot for our second night in using the van instead of our tent. Definitely warmer than Bathurst last weekend.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Many thanks to the CO’s.

28,213. Found with minniek during a fun weekend run up to Cowra.
Over many years of caching runs around and through Cowra I have come to really enjoy this town with some amazing history. We had previously - after many visits - finally 'cleaned out' Cowra, so it was fantastic to see many new caches by Joshwa27 and tandm86 (plus some others) appearing everywhere. So much so that we decided on a last minute run up this way this weekend. A post lunchtime departure from Goulburn led to a mid afternoon arrival in Cowra where we knocked off about 16 caches. This was the next one. Quick find at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed to the next one on our list.
Thanks tandm86 !! I remember finding the previous cache in this park.

After a weekend at the Bathurst 6 Hour it was time to head home grabbing some caches along the way TFTC
Quick find but one place away from where I thought it might be. But quick spot once I extended my search. Cool flying grasshoppers around the monument today. Thanks for bringing me here.

Quite surprised to find these new caches, especially since I had planned to go to Lake Cargelligo via Orange. Thanx car GPS for the other way there.
