Was lucky to make the find relatively quickly. Could have been tricky. Log book is full so posting pic to confirm find.TFTC!
Find# 11345This was not an easy find. It took us two attempts within four hours. Even with foliage missing, it was a difficult find.We are in town for business. However, we have a free day to create some "Smileys".TFTC tandm86 topia18 10 June 2024
Second go at it. Weather terrible, but no muggles in garden. Paul and Lou from The Blue Mountains NSW travelling with Savannah
WOW thank goodness Geohubbies eyes are focusing as after quite sometime he was on to it. Even then I took some time to see it.brilliant TFTC
In the area, to pick up a few caches.A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. Many thanks for placing this cache, tandm86, for us and others to find.
When we pulled up to GZ a muggle over the fence come up to the fence and told us where it was......lol. didn't have to look very hard for that one. TFTC

The lady in the house helped us. Warm, cold, hot.The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of Oz Mega GeoBash MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza, e_smilie, and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Canberra to AdelaideThe generic bit.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. The home owner new about this one so helped us find it.Headed over to the Capital GeoBash in Canberra, ACT with Freddo over 5 days, travelling through the central part of NSW before caching around the hinterlands. A nice few days over with great weather. Thanks for the cache
We are on our way to the Capital Geobash Canberra 2024. Rain and tents arent ideal bedmates so we hotfooted it to Cowra. Weve been here a few days caching and organising for Canberra. Today we are trying to get as many traditionals as we can as we need only 26 more for a challenge cache in Canberra.Very small but found. 4/26Thanks tandm86 for placing and maintaining this cache.
Thanks to the lovely cache neighbours for giving us some extra hints for our poor eyesight. You need to be sharp for this one! TFTC
Tftc tandm86, a day out and about in Cowra, plenty of new caches since our last time here.it was looking down on NedTrees would be magnificent in bloom
Day 126 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic which started in June, and day 125 of a streak. With QOGM done and dusted for it's final year we are heading the caravan towards home, well sort off. Goal is to tick off LGA's and missing sectors in 360 degrees from home. Wandered to GZ and muggled by the nearby dog. When I heard come around here, I thought she was talking to the dog. Then I heard it again and realised he was directing me to the cache. I still struggled to find that nasty nano, and she called her husband out to direct me to the correct branch just as I spotted it myself.TFTC TB's visited
A beautiful day to get out and cache. Cowra is looking beautiful in the spring. Thanks for placing these caches.
Spring is a lovely time to get out and find a few caches. Last time we couldn't find this one but today it was obvious. Thanks tandm86.
The second day of our geo adventure holiday, after camping down by the river at Darby Falls, we set off to explore the Cowra region as it is somewhere we have never ventured and with lots of history to explore
Well, this holiday is all about taking the time to see some of the amazing gems that you find while geocaching
Nice easy find as the tree had been pruned and had no blossoms

Day three on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are heading to Cowra and back. Today we are caching around Cowra!.
We found Ned, and soon after the hanging nano.
Thanks, Robmc.

#20963. Day 3 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. Spent the night in Cowra on the banks of the river (in the caravan park) and awoke to a frosty morning that soon turned into a glorious Autumn day. Plenty of caching around town, scenery to admire and Cowra's war history to immerse ourselves in, walks to be had and cycle paths that will encourage us to bring the bikes on our next visit.
I bet it is a beautiful drive when the blossom is in full bloom. Pity about the nano hides though.
Thanks tandm86

Bathurst to Cowra. Staying at the showground.
It started with a very rainy day but at we neard Carcoar the weather started to clear. So we didn't do any of the caches we had planned to do along the road.
The other incident that happened in front of us, was a cow falling form the top of a cattle truck. Awfull to see such an injured animal.
There were so many new caches here, since we last visited.
Cowra is certainly an interesting town, this showed in the amazing locations that we found caches around town
Such a nasty nano in a tree, at the same time the local dog continued to bark
Thankyou to all the CO's for placing these caches.

Molong to Canberra, stopping for very few finds along the way.
Believe that this is a new LGA for me.
Turned around, and it was right in front of me.

Bathurst trip October 2022. Day 1. I heard there was to be a Community Celebration Event in Bathurst on Tuesday, so I planned on a two day camping caching trip to join in. Rain threatened both days but only fell a few times, except overnight when it seemed to rain all night. The trip was Canberra, Cowra, Bathurst, Millthorpe, Orange, Bathurst and home again via Cowra. I managed lots of caches and enjoyed the trip away.
I stopped at lots of the new roadside caches and some that even needed a walk in wet areas. This was a very small cache in a very verdant tree canopy.
Thanks for the cache tandm86

Took a little bit of searching, but soon had it in hand, all watched by the friendly dog nearby. TFTC
Such a lovely place to put this cache with the trees in bloom (although we did have to be careful of the bees! ) TFTC!
We had a quick scan for this one but there was a resident in the front yard tending to her garden and a dog barking loudly, drawing attention to us so we didn't have a thorough search.
Another canine welcomed us to this one – this time sitting quietly by the gate. Could see this one would be very difficult to get when the leaves are out. TF to C
Adventure boys!
We found in peace.

Signed DSD. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.
Thought I was going to have to walk away from this one had another look and then spied on the other side, thanks for this one. It might be rather difficult once there is leaves and flowers
The elderly couple came out of their house and asked us what we were doing. We told them to expect more people looking.
We decided that it was time to go on a day trip to Cowra to look for some of the new caches that had popped up in the area since we were last there. Texted Rapidlywild to see if she was interested in joining us on for the journey. It was a pretty cold day with the winds but thankfully no rain which was a bonus. No DNF's for us today which was a great and all caches were found pretty quickly and we managed to get all of the caches we targeted with a couple of labs thrown in for good measure.
Nice to see a new mini trail of caches in Cowra. This one was a little evil but after a bit of searching soon came up with the goods. Probably a lot easier to find in winter though.
Thanks for the evil hide tandm86 and thanks for a good day out Rapidlywild.

The FFLL ladies had decided they wanted to go on a little tiki tour around Cowra and reached out with an invite, yes please It was a cold day however the rain held off and we were able to achieve our target area and managed to clean up again for a while. We completed 2 labs and a heap of trads and assorted caches which included an unexpected FTF.
Well this one was a little evil! Feel very exposed at this one especially when the neighbours are wandering around in their backyard.
Thanks for the hides tandm86 And thanks to the FFLL ladies for a fun day out and about around Cowra [^].

Fitzy_1965 and I decided to head to Cowra for the weekend. Day 2 saw us up early and on the road again after a quick stop at the Golden Arches for a coffee.
As it has been a few years since we were last here, there has been a nice number of new caches in the area. Fitzy had kept himself busy by doing all the puzzling before headed out. Always good to find a Joshwa27 cache or two along with caches by others along the way.
We had a fun couple of days and found a nice camp spot for our second night in using the van instead of our tent. Definitely warmer than Bathurst last weekend.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Many thanks to the CO’s.

28,239. Found with minniek during a fun weekend run up to Cowra.
Day 2. Over many years of caching runs around and through Cowra I have come to really enjoy this town with some amazing history. We had previously - after many visits - finally 'cleaned out' Cowra, so it was fantastic to see many new caches by Joshwa27 and tandm86 (plus some others) appearing everywhere. So much so that we decided on a last minute run up this way this weekend. After a toasty night in our van, we headed out to try for the rest of the new caches in Cowra. This was the next one. Quick find at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed to the next one on our list.
Thanks tandm86 !! This is a fun run up this road !

FTF - this cache broke our run of DnF’s. We thought Cowra might have broken us, but alas this lovely tree #241a was to be our saving grace. Thanks for bringing us on this drive.
