We met up at my pond and went in search of some newer caches in Mount Barker before branch out in the sticks a bit and finishing in Strathalbyn. Three Confused Puzzlers out for another Tuesday Trek. After the Rat was delivered to my cave, we trekked down to the Starfish's pool and then set out to see what could be found. The growing series of trads around Mount Barker were probably my main aim (all the newies were found, even scored a FTF on one) but quite a few others were found as well and we ended up in Strathalbyn before it was time to head home.One that the Rat had already found but wanted by the Starfish and I. Quickly spotted and soon had the inner container in hand. Then the struggle to get the log out started, only a little damage to the log was done before our stamps were added and cache left as found.Thanks to Toxicmouse5 for making this cache available to be found.Cache #14402 for me.This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Easy cute find

Came down to Strath for a breakfast event and there were a few stray caches that had popped up since my last visit and this was one of them.This was a quick find once at GZ. Took a little while to get the log out, but got there eventually.Thanks for the cache MooskaMouse.

Quick find TFTC

On a very rare and special occasion, I was out and about with my lovely on a mid-week escape. The weather was lovely, chilly air, fairly clear skies and warm in the car. We left home at a respectable hour, wandered through the hills at our leisure stopping for a morning cuppa while taking in views of the southern coast. Great conversation and experiences at a variety of caches. We stopped for lunch in Strathalbyn and had a stroll in the shops and park after. I had not been caching in this area before so there were many to choose from, including a couple armchair solves waiting patiently.

After walking back and forth for the sequenced AL in the park in Strathalbyn, I reverted to normal caching until it was home time. We managed many different cache types and picked up a golden oldie to fill a gap in my Jasmer grid. All up a wonderful day with over 30 remote hills finds added to my tally.

Thanks for the cache MooskaMouse. A slight drive out of town here. Nice work here, you have done a nice job. It doesnt take much does it, to make a cache a bit special. The cache and contents are all good. Find #8477 at 3.42pm

A nice drive on the back roads past this one today cache easily found and is all good

Today I headed down to McLaren Vale to Strathalbyn via Kuitpo Forest finding the caches in the area consisting of walks and drive bys, total of 45 finds for the days

So another CP must do event, so of course I went a long for the fun. Unfortunately I am a little under the weather and this area was not quite as flat as I was expecting and did strain my poor cold infected lungs. But with some help from my friends I made it and got back to my car (thanks James )
I will need to return for another wander to collect more caches in the area.
