Found with Loopy1972 while picking a couple of ftfs. Thanks Goldy & saintsno1 for the cache.
No activiity today. To cool to burn.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is friggjar-dagr the twentieth day of the septimus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit cooler today. Not so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Day 12 of my Leap Year Mega trip. Today, the plan is to find lots of counties. Found with Nibletricecakes. TFTC.
Have been enjoying this new little series as we have travelled around. Thanks for the cache! .Day 12 of our Great Leap Forward leap year Mega trip of 2024. Caching today with GLISS! Always wonderful to be travelling across the country enjoying the amazing scenery and caching along the way. Main focus for this trip has been to tidy up the last couple of counties needed in Victoria and make a serious dent in the South Australian ones. Plus a few days in Adelaide enjoying the mega fun. A hot dry trip this time around. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches so we can enjoy the game.
TFTC pineapplegoldy your cache Spalding CFS that we found today. After spending the last 3 weeks in and around Shepparton we are now on the move , heading to Yorke Peninsula. This is day 4 of or travel time. Slight change of plan and our destination is now Port Pirie. Along the way we stopped at Spaulding and Gulnare to complete a couple of simple multis.Find Count: 17523
So we had to take Bella home and if you are going to drive 3 hours north you might as well turn it into a caching adventure. We were in the 4WD so I got to choose some interesting tracks for Wayne to play on. Any caches that needed some attention got it.Thanks to pineapplegoldy from mogni .
Stopped and got some numbers. Quick find at the final. Even better since that was the way we were travelling. Another one of this series down.Found with Mogni. This was a very, very last minute trip.I found out that i had to be in the " clare region " the next day by lunch the next day on muggle business. After that business was over i headed up to jamestown to get a 2001 cache via any adventure labs or caches i haven't found before staying in a B& B in Penworthm. Now it was time to start heading home via dirt roads to Burra for the new Adventure lab and then down every dirt road/track with caches on it and the odd track that needed the hubs locked on the ute. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was replaced with a new container and if the log sheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.
I'd planned on being at a CITO and an event at Port Adelaide today[^] However the best laid plans of mice and men and all that! A phone call with ttrogg last night led to muggle partner, Rex and I all climbing into ttrogg's car this morning and heading NorthAn interesting day out with many kilometers travelled, thanks to the driver[^], and 13 caches foundThere were only 4 trads and 9 multis in my found list today: usually it's the opposite way aroundAfter a loo stop at the nearby park, we drove past the CFS building and then ttrogg kindly allowed me to find this multi that he had found previously[^]TNLN. Travelling Australia in our caravan since February 2014.
With magnificent weather forecast we were up making lunch, loading the bikes onto the geocruiser fairly early (for us).
We saw a large snake on the mid north channel trail, many kangaroos and bobtails whilst out and about.
Crops looking great in this region. We are waiting for harvest to start on York Peninsula, gonna be a while yet.

After a quick stop & a freshly made coffee, geo hubby Animal62 & I headed on over to the CFS where we collected all the information needed to solve the puzzle then a short drive to GZ & a lovely smiley face on our maps for our efforts.

We are off on a trip to the Birdsville Races and then across to Queensland - the plan is for about 6 weeks of travel - all going well.
Week 1 we have travelled from Portland to Farrell's Flat near Clare.
Day 9 we packed up our camp and ventured 50kms to the town of Spalding that is sadly lacking in tennis equipment.
After an early lunch we jumped on the bikes and started the channel caches.
Back to home base to collect the information for this one and a quick ride down to the final. Wasn't quite as high as I was looking though.
Thanks for contributing to our holiday pineapplegoldy

Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. Based in Peterborough, we are exploring some of the surrounding areas. While the boys were peddling along the Mid North Channel, we girls were picking up a few caches of our own. We really enjoy the CFS series of multis. TFTC.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. The Geo-men decided on a biking day so they were dropped off while Mrs ILT and I cached around the area. Thanks for another in this series.

Day 3 of my short Geocaching weekend. Today I left White Cliffs Reserve zigzagging along the way finding what caches I had not found and ended up stopping in Yongala for the night.
Quick find on my way out of Spalding on my way to Jamestown.

With a few days off back in Adelaide I decided to head to the mid north again after still having some caches to find up this way from my last visit 2 weeks ago, nice to be driving around on the back roads exploring new places and seeing the country side.
Thanks for the cache

The three of us were heading past for a short trip up to the Southern Flinders Ranges. We stopped here to hind this one.
Teen Tardis was the first to spot the cache, despite Mr Tardis standing right in front of it and still not seeing it.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache pineapplegoldy.

Away for a couple of days with TheWhiteDogGang.
We stayed at the free camping in Blyth and cached around Blyth, Brinkworth, Yacka, Spalding, Clare, Stanley Flat and surrounds.
Most caches found were in good order.
The numbers were crunched at home. We were looking higher than that.

Hint had me looking in the wrong direction for a while, spotted cache while giving neck a rest.
Yesterday afternoon I headed up to the Yorke Peninsula and beyond to find a few caches of interest and camp for the night. This morning I continued my journey, starting with some puzzle caches at Clements Gap before heading across to the Clare, Burra and eventually to Redbanks for the night.
After collecting the required information and calculating the final coordinates, it was off to GZ for a quick find.
Thanks pineapplegoldy for the cache.

Quick calculation then onto find the little treasure. TFTC Goldy and Saintsno1.
Pulled into town late, set up the van and what would you know, there’s a multi cache needing to be found. Found the required information all while setting off the sensor lights and getting eating alive by mozzies. Then it was off to GZ….with the spiders…. I don’t know why I do it to myself.
Out with Froghoppin and Sebastbat for a little drive to the north.
Dropped by the CFS and signed your cache log of course!
Thanks to pineapplegoldy for placing and maintaining this cache on our ever expanding SA geo-map

Exploring wherever we can - searching, spotting hidden items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guess or plain old dumb luck
Plenty of the luck stuff actually !!!
*Almost all the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course.*
---
Beware ! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, floodwaters, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for bugs !!! . [xx(]
Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Great of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
We do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!
C'est Fini.
