Very early morning find on what was to have been a quick non caching trip to Adelaide to help a mate. Realised I had just enough time to grab this and a similar one nearby as generally they are easy finds ..... it was. Thanks for the hide on this warm day!!
Cruising around looking for a cache to steal / find. Hummed my way to GZ, signed the log and disappeared into the night.TFTC GeocachingSAKeep smiling
After a couple of really hectic days today was going to be a bit less so. After the 2 events at St Clair I teamed up with Michells&hound to find some caches that we both hadn't found and then heading to North Adelaide for the last event of the day.Another of the Gone in 60 seconds and another quick find and stamp. Thanks for the cache GeocachingSA.
Great HideThanks GeocachingSA for the cacheJames0116Saturday, 2 Mar 20246:17:52pm ACDT4109
Today after the St Clair events I headed out with JJ52 to collect some more caches that neither of us had found and then on to the last Mega event. Parked right on top of this one, well almost ?? TFTC ??
After attending the St Claire CITO event, I turned my attention to some nearby physical caches in the area. I have spent little time in this area so there was an abundance of caches from which to choose. All caches found without problems and in good condition unless stated otherwise. Thanks for the cache Memphis and Friends.# # #14243 # #
Leap Year only rolls around every four years. Four years to wait for things to happen that you should have planned before the day is past and gone for another four years. So today is the day and here it is. I do like it when a planned plan achieves its target. Roll on 2028.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Found with Smartich0ke and poison55 whilst on our way to the mega event. A great day of geocaching
After 16 years of caching the time has come to tick off a mega. After arriving late last night into Adelaide I was up early with a mission to collect as many cache types as were available today. I headed into town before the event in the hope to pick up the web cam caches and a sprinkling of others to set me up for the rest of the day. Finding a safe place to park I was soon at ground zero and the prize was quickly obtained. Now off to enjoy more of what Adelaide has to offer and tick a few boxes along the way.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this available to be found.Cheers
Found on todays leap day Mega event caching day! Out and about clearing a bit of the map, a nice park and grab here. Thanks.Find #6663 on 29 Feb 2024.TFTC GeocachingSA!
Out and about with sir_spectre grabbing a few caches might distract us when we are close to the upcoming Mega. Thanks to GeocachingSA from mogni
Quick find. Another one in this series down. Found with Mogni. Today started with a CITO event in Mawson lakes and then moving on to completing a couple of adventure labs and then on to the target area for the day. That area was the general area around the Mega site and the nearby mega CITO site. It was just slowly clearing the solved puzzles, trads and solving/finding the multi's. A early finish to caching saw only 40 + finds for the day even if we had a few DNF's. At least that area is thinned of unfound caches and lab stages, hopefully we will have some spare time to finish the area off before the mega.
Thanks for this quick find cache on a Saturday evening. Out with Offwith the _fairies and driver.
Found during a caching circuit around the city and western suburbs. Thanks for the cache GeocachingSA!
A solitary find on an exceptionally cool and wet December day here in Adelaide. A find in under 6 seconds I reckon; this series is pretty predictable after youve done the first few. I used to live in this part of town as a child and its always interesting to come back. Thanks for the cache and the series Memphis and Friends.
I needed a daily cache to continue my streak. This one looked alright, so I waited till later in the day to make the find when less people were around.A nice quick find and sign here. Cache is all good.Another one of this series done. Thanks GeocachingSA for this traditional cache and series, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3869 on the 5th of December 2023.CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it! Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! With a couple of hours up my sleeve, decided to see how many of this series we could get to before dark and we managed 9 this evening, cache was found and signed in less than 60 secondsTFTC GeocachingSA
Had to make 2 visits here as a council worker was busy having a rest in his car.Once he left it was over with quickly.TFTC
Rather than watching just 15 Chev Comaros and 13 Ford Mustangs race around and around and around and around 161 times at Bathurst, I decided to take advantage of the great weather and have a look for some of the recently published Gone in 60 seconds series plus a few other caches along the way. In the process I found a group of Porsches, a GMC, a HumVee, an Infinitee, a Roller and a Shelby Cobra. Thanks to Memphis and Friends for hiding these along with the other COs who had placed other caches I found during my trip in the Western suburbs. TFTC
Gotta love a public HolidaySo October is 10000000 steps for something that I got roped into at work. What better way to get there than a walk after work. Gotta love a smiley face on the map! Thank you for contributing to the geo map and maintaining when required. TFTC SAs Leap Year Event - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. GCA1DNA. Cant wait!!
This was a good find in the series, like the rest a nice and easy find was had here and cache is all good.Today with an event and CITO around Port Adelaide area I decided to head out and find a whole heap of new caches published over the last few months around the area, mainly focusing on the gone in 60 seconds series. Thanks for the cache

I’ve been out on the bike very little over the last 6 months
The days are longer, dryer and warmer now so it’s time to change. Get the legs & body moving and encompass a bit of caching too ??
A quick find here tonight, log stamped and all returned as found…….all while clocking up a few km on the bike ?????

It was time for another Wednesday Wander so with the Rat only today we headed towards the chosen playing area which was mainly west of the city where quite a few new caches had appeared since we were last in the area. But there had been 10 caches published so it wasn't until they had all been taken care of, some by us, the rest by others, before we returned to Plan A. This cache was either one of the planned caches or one of the new ones that just happened to be in the area we were working. All caches looked for were found by one of us or sometimes by both of us simultaneously so it was a very satisfying day with quite a few added to the count. Most were from the new Gone in 60 Seconds Series which was nice for a traditionalist like me, except for Hillary which I found not as easy as I should have. The others were a variety of newish trads, puzzles and letterboxes.
Thanks to Memphis and Friends for placing this cache on our playing field.
Cache #13980 for me.

Country, Coast and City... Caches and crazy company!
On the roads again, with Jack, and Purrfect Di driving and caching along the way wherever we go
[^] [^]
In a hazardous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid objects falling from trees
- - - a cache a day keeps the boredom away
--------
Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]
----------
Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on
(Covid cancels caching! - Flu finished fun!))
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
Special thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
C'est fini... For now... ... until next time!
PS:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... be there or be backward!
29.2.24 It's gone MEGA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And don't forget to put the June Long Weekend in your diary for 2024 too... it'll be out of this world
*FTF* Tracy was kissed at 8.02am
Almost finished breakfast and the phone started dinging. I had to calm the jubilation of my GSM112 being published and have a look if any cars could be boosted nearby. Two caught my eye and the wall clock said I almost had enough time to manage it. I left and headed into peak hour, greatly thinned by the teacher strike, and the spoils were mine.
Thanks for the cache and fun on a super Friday morning.
