That had such a strong magnet that the geokid struggled to get it Thanks for the nice quick easy find Always appreciates when youve logged a series of DNFs
A quick find in my EV. Thanks for reminiscing about gas guzzlers. Cheers Memphis and Friends.
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Heading to this side of town today and as has become the normal state of affairs on the way back home a cache or two will be found. Headed to the area of this one and parked round the corner. Wandered pover to GZ and quickly spotted the cache. Removed the log, signed, and then replaced as found. Now onto one more before heading home. Amnother one gone in 60 seconds, or maybe a little bit more.Gratias pro cache Memphis and Friends
Perhaps not the best to do on a busy work day.... trucks seemed to be streaming by causing us to retreat to the other side of the road a few times. Eventually spotted!
A quick find in the dark. The last cache for the night. Thanks for the cache.
Another one with Sebastbat and Jack. Tanya bit the dust in less than 60 seconds. Thank you GeocachingSA for this cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance ---------------- ----------------------In a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid caches falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps us agile... sort of --------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Cache carefully and make sure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Clean as you go and cache the countryside Big thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in nice safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun for all Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! Maybe not though - as someone actually did read to the end and alerted me to just a project GC badge that requires long logs [:o)] Well at least it's not as bad as finding a mint tin! Did you get that... stop putting out rusty mint tins, just stop it, now!!! C'est fini... For now... ... until tomorrow! #14,112. Over in Australia to attend the Leap Day Mega event. Looking forward to having 10 days of geocaching around Adelaide and a road trip back to Melbourne. The day after the Mega event Infoferret and I decided to spend the day doing adlabs and mopping up some solved puzzles and multis in the general region of the Mega. We were driving past here so decided to stop for this trad. Proved to be a busy road with lots of trucks coming down it which interrupted the searching. Found it eventually. Thanks GeocachingSA for hiding it here.
1 March 2024 10:04 TFTC Memphis and Friends for placing this cache, number 13473 for me.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.
Thanks for the cache. Didn't have a chance to find it after attending the Mega event yesterday. Found with makingpie.
Wandering the area, picking up nearby caches to today's Mega. TFTC & CheersPaul & Fabienne ????29 February 2024 15:20
Catching up with logs from Mega Day, and Ive just realised that I almost skipped this one. It gave me grief the first time tried to find it, but no worries second time around. A particularly fierce magnet in play here, and this time there was no intimidation from the dog behind the fence. Thanks for the cache and the series Memphis and Friends.
After checking in at the Mega site and chatting to a few people Michells&hound, allister w and I headed out to find a few of the close caches that we hadn't found before heading back for the sausage sizzle. And another quick find. Thanks for the cache GeocachingSA.
The Great Leap Forward event day was finally here so with chooknchunk we set off caching chasing different cache types all the while visiting some very interesting locations. While attending the mega site, chook and the male Triton went around doing the near by caches and labs while chunk and I socialised back at the venue. Thanks GeocachingSA for the placement.
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. ???????????? (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. ??????[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. ???????? Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - ?? GeocachingSA ?? Something special or unusual goes here:This was a DNF recently but learnt that it had been replaced. So naturally I called past today for a quick find. The Generic Bit:Woo hoo. It is finally Leap Day. Off to the Mega I went for four hours of volunteer work. Did the Lab caches and then met up with Muff1 and S.A. Sewer Rats for an afternoon of caching and laughs. I was glad to not have any further DNFs and rectify a few past ones. Then it was side Event Dinner and some fun in the drains***Thanks GeocachingSA for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in late Tuesday night then packed the Geowagon and headed off to SA early Wednesday morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Well after crossing the border the other day and staying in Millicent, Wellington, Cape Jervis, Kingscote and Im now in Adelaide for a week.Well it is finally here for what we have travelled over here for and also what we have all been waiting for as well The Leap Year Mega in SA.A great lead up with plenty of caching along the way and a couple of lead up events as well.Im looking forward to catching up with friends from interstate as these events are the only time I get to see some of them.Another day of caching with my navigator GemmaSistema telling me which way to go.She will get her left and rights sorted one day.We have found a few of these cars now on our travels around the burbs and I would gladly replace the Geowagon with one of these.(Psst dont tell the Geowagon that). Thanks GeocachingSA TFTC.
After doing a full morning run around Gawler, Williamstown and Gumeracha with The Tritonz before arriving at the Great Leap Forward mega base, we thought we would only have enough time left to play at the site itself. Having booked for the later dinner session, we found ourselves with an extra hour and a bit to spare, so Chook and the male Triton went for a walk around the block to find a few more caches. Last one for the block and now its dinner time. TFTC GeocachingSA.
out doing a few nearby caches on the Leap Day- is that the alley where everything gets boosted ?!! Relatively quick easy find but DIFFICULT retrieve! Found with the Seagnoid, Gaye and GayeNT. TYFTC SL TNLN
Another quick cache on our way to the mega, so many caches so little time. We went to the car museum in the hills but didnt see many of the cars in this series. Thanks for another one

Found with Posums whilst exploring the area around the Mega. Thanks for the cache.
Out for a bit of a stroll during the mega event. As I turned the corner, I saw someone with the logbook and shouted out, dont put it back yet! Which he did not. And then we had a great chat. I always love bumping into Geo cashers out on the trail.
found withChubly09 and Smartich0ke on the way to the Great Leap Forward Mega (29th of February!). good car too.TFTC
Over from WA for the Leap Day Mega now Out and about grabbing what caches we can.TFTC
Decided to go for a little drive whilst waiting for the how to build a wherigo session at the Mega. TFTC Memphis and Friends
Just about needed a crowbar to get the container off our hiding spot. Thanks for the fun!
After 16 years of caching the time has come to tick off a mega. After arriving late last night into Adelaide I was up early with a mission to collect as many cache types as were available today. I headed into town before the event in the hope to pick up the web cam caches and a sprinkling of others to set me up for the rest of the day. Finding a safe place to park I was soon at ground zero and the prize was quickly obtained. Now off to enjoy more of what Adelaide has to offer and tick a few boxes along the way.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this available to be found.Cheers
Another in this series, all good here.Well the day is finally here and I leap-t out of bed good and early, same as the last few days, before 0430! Had a plan to catch up on some NZ-Time work then head into and back from the City before it got busy. Only targets were the two Webcams, though I was close enough to a Virtual to grab that find too. My aims for the day, with pretty much a full choice of all I need to add 29 Feb to my profile badges, and other stats, is to go slow and steady and get all I seek. Have been doing a few recces last few days so know where I need to go, and hope to get to the MEGA around lunch-time for an hour or so. Hoping work isn't too onerous today, but you never know.
Great HideThanks GeocachingSA for the cacheJames0116Thursday, 29 Feb 20246:55:28pm ACDT4058
Found on todays leap day Mega event caching day! Out and about clearing a bit of the map. Quick find and all good here, thanks.Find #6666 on 29 Feb 2024.TFTC GeocachingSA!
Well, that was entertaining! Mrs Y and Owl arrived to see a car being pushed out of a workshop. The chat with the car pushers revealed that the workshop owner knew all about the cache - and the last one here - he even told the duo where they needed to look and then asked why there were so many people acting weird that day. He'd counted 8 but Owl assured him there would have been many more. Lovely man, perfectly happy to be entertained by the 'weirdos'!
These cars are probably not so rare and compared to modern electrical cars not the fastest sprinters anymore. But the body is a work of art.Arriving at gz Madeye&Moody and me had a good laugh - there's a car body shop nearby. You have to know how to drive these beasts fast...#4317
I was delighted by these caches, because I like driving by car very much. I prefer Mercedes! ??Together with my beloved husband Destinator I did this one by foot! ??#4473

Yesterday we had a DNF on this cache, overnight Brisal5 received permission to replace the cache. Today we were very happy to add our names to the new log. All is good now and the cache is waiting for it's next finder. SL TFTC
Last find for the morning before heading back to the Mega venue for sausage sizzle duties. TFTC
Double parked and foundTime to attend SAs Leap Year Event. Keep looking up! My second MEGA and I have looking forward to this for a while now.GeocachingSA, I found 44 1997 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo - Tanya today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Found by Mary and David at 15:00. Had to wait for a muggle in the shed opposite to go inside. Then it was a quick find. Glad of some shade. Our thanks to GeocachingSA.
Thanks to another cacher for calling me away and when I turned back I saw it. Attending Adelaide Mega and wanted to get one of each cache type. Thanks for the location
Adelaide Day 4Now camped at the West Beach Park to attend the Leap Day Event.Once again I was caching with Wallaston.Today the was the day for the great Leap foreward Event. We did 2 events, multi ALs plus a variety of other types of caches. TFTC! 29 February 2024 10:34:24am 7473 thanks to GeocachingSA for the cache! Off to the Great Leap year Mega in Adelaide. A stop off along the way! A quick find before the mega!
Grabbed in the company of Firesafe and NurseyJulie as we gleaned some icons close to the Leap Year Mega Event site. No trouble locating the container and our names are now in the log.Cheers GeocachingSA.
Found with Poisin55 and chubly09on a trip up to Woodville for the mega event! Had a great time, meeting new cachers, checking out the gadget caches, and lots of other great stuff. TFTC
Headed down to big Leap day mega event with Mattycat, after the ceremonies and meet and greets it was time to head out and find a few caches, gotta love another cache found and logged in less than 60 secondsTFTC GeocachingSA
Another movie I have not seen. The porsche is a rather iconic car, but I was less happy with Porsche keeping the 911 iconc body shape generally, but changing the whale tail so dramatically.GZ looks like a seedy little Italian or Argentinian back alley, the sort of place where the garage might open and a porsche or testerossa might come out.Nice easy find. Difficult retrieve! Found with Skuzzy Bear and Gaye and GayeNT.
We decided to have a mid afternoon coffee at a local place that made very good coffee and also had mouth watering cake. On the way we passed by another of the auto series. We parked 27m away and followed the GPS. As we started our search there was a flurry of activity at the garage repair shop opposite the iteplace of interest. The workers began push a few cars around before expertly guiding one onto the street. As we started our search the mechanic suggested we might be looking in the wrong place. A friendly banter ensued. The workers have been well aware of the cache since it was placed and enjoyed watching the antics of the searches. We had located the cache and updated the log book before other cachers arrved. Thanks for this cache Geucaching SA. We have enjoyed seeing them published and had fun working out what we would be looking for
3 DNFs.. all good super users! Its gone .. somebody stole this popular model Porsche!!!!If we had a spare we would have replaced. Not this time, unfortunately only Subarus no Porsches at our place! (unfortunately)
You pwned us n00bs.We will return.Look look look. You are only as good as your next find. Thanks and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
Today we are out caching with Brisal5 and SewerRat, unfortunately Brisal5 and muff1 were unable to find this cache.
No luck today with this one. Despite the presence of previous finder and expanding our search it evaded us. Felt very exposed as several muggles cars came out of nowhere as we looked. You are only as good as your last find....you pwned this noob today! **Thanks GeocachingSA for the search anyway. **
Out and about with sir_spectre grabbing a few caches might distract us when we are close to the upcoming Mega. Thanks to GeocachingSA from mogni
Found it Tanya has been boostedaka the coloured mint tin by the sea peopleaka Minty ManTFTC Memphis and Friends
Quick find. Another one in this series down.Found with Mogni. Today started with a CITO event in Mawson lakes and then moving on to completing a couple of adventure labs and then on to the target area for the day. That area was the general area around the Mega site and the nearby mega CITO site. It was just slowly clearing the solved puzzles, trads and solving/finding the multi's. A early finish to caching saw only 40 + finds for the day even if we had a few DNF's. At least that area is thinned of unfound caches and lab stages, hopefully we will have some spare time to finish the area off before the mega.
Found during a foray in the north western suburbs. Second visit here, the first unsuccessful of course. This time it was quite obvious and located quickly, which left me wondering why I missed it last time! Thanks for the cache Memphis and Friends!
My second DNF in this series. Ill be so embarrassed if its still there. The dog on the other side of the fence sounds scary. I hope to claim this later. Thanks Memphis and Friends.
Decided to walk to the 3 newish caches closest to me. Oh a busy location on a Thursday at 2.30pm. Took a little while dodging traffic. Was pleased to have it in my hand. Signed then off to the next one. Tftc
Rather than watching just 15 Chev Comaros and 13 Ford Mustangs race around and around and around and around 161 times at Bathurst, I decided to take advantage of the great weather and have a look for some of the recently published Gone in 60 seconds series plus a few other caches along the way. In the process I found a group of Porsches, a GMC, a HumVee, an Infinitee, a Roller and a Shelby Cobra. Thanks to Memphis and Friends for hiding these along with the other COs who had placed other caches I found during my trip in the Western suburbs. TFTC
This was a good find in the series, like the rest a nice and easy find was had here and cache is all good.Today with an event and CITO around Port Adelaide area I decided to head out and find a whole heap of new caches published over the last few months around the area, mainly focusing on the gone in 60 seconds series. Thanks for the cache
