Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Sol's day the twentieth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Yeeha! The Wild West is calling and Snips and Co and I are traversing along the Southern and Western Victorian borders.Today we will travel from Kaniva to Melbourne, hopefully finding a few geocaches in new LGAs and some scenic spots. There was lots of treasure here, and I discovered a spot the dog camping book and a cat taking a ride on a toy buggy! The geocache wasn't what I was expecting and luckily I was distracted by the cat to look in another spot.thanks for the fun start to the day

13-Oct-24
The was recommended to us as a quick but happy cache, and that is was. Thanks, Lisa.kenny13

13-Oct-24
Heading home from Kaniva after completing the This is SA series and stopped by for this one. That was fun...and yes I looked inside the area first. Log was signed, cache replaced and I was on my way. Thanks for this one Lisa.kenny13....fav point for bringing me here to have a look.

Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Two: Kaniva to BallaratWeather: still quite windy, otherwise perfect. The cat next door checked me out and then moved on. A train had gone through while I was doing the previous cache. All quiet in the street now, and a quick find here. I didnt make any deposits or withdrawals. This is the first time that Ive been to this end of Nhill. Thanks for putting a cache here Lisa.kenny13.

During recent visits to Nhill, we have only had the opportunity to look for one or two caches that have been published in recent years. Today we had sufficient time to look for six of the seven remaining ones (swimming to the island was not on our agenda today) and we were fortunate to find all six that we sought.Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find The cache and contents were in good condition. However the cache is not a T1 hide as it is impossible for anyone sitting in a wheel chair to access the cache from their sitting position. T1.5 is more appropriate. Thanks Lisa.kenny13 for the cache.

The PIES won too. We finally got to the should be very famous Nhill with all its secret treasures bordering Little Desert. Surprisingly this lass from the High Country is excited having just discovered PINBALL in town so Ill return for sure. It was the final day of my slowly caching my way home to Adelaide from Bacchus Marsh; with the plan to find a few caches along the way before making the final stretch home. Having picked up a couple of caches on the way out of Horsham, the majority of my time was spent between the Dimboola area and Kaniva. With a decent number of caches put out in, and around, Dimboola since I was last in the area, it was nice to make a dent in finding them. When it got late in the day, and I had found all the caches that I was after, I put the GPS away and made my way home. Apologies for the generic log as I have plenty to write from my trip away.Find #9837, at 03:30 pmTFTC Smile

Homeward-bound, the last stretch. Bordertown to home. A bit of a drive around the Bordertown and Mundulla area in the morning and then in the arvo,a drive around Nhill. #19205 - 11:07:22 AM; Day two of "The Great Leap Forward" road trip. A last minute change of plans due to my usual partner in crime becoming unavailable saw me heading off in the geomobile and not by air as previously arranged. After a night in Beaufort, I continued the journey west through Ararat, Great Western, Stawell, Dadswells Bridge, Horsham, Dimboola, Nhill and Kaniva, where I was joined by feathertop, before crossing the border into South Australia. It was then on to Bordertown, Keith and Murray Bridge, before returning to Tailem Bend and the accommodation followed an event to wrap up the daily mission. All caches were found in good condition and returned as found once the log was signed. Checked one option at GZ before the next choice located the cache. TFTC Lisa.kenny13 Smile

14:46We made a quick find here - a little surprised at where the treasure was hidden. Some of the swaps seem to have tried to escape - perhaps a quick call from the CO could fix this. Thanks again, to Lisa.kenny13 for hiding caches, in interesting locations. 36566

We headed to Nhill to complete the new listings since our last visit as we head up north to Rainbow.Unfortunately we didnt have a kayak to complete one cache, we had 2 DNFs and totally overlooked one cache, so in all we will have 4 caches for our next trip.We got the hang of the larger containers but failed miserably on the micros, we think we must need more experience with the COs way of hiding. An easy find after first looking in the wrong spot. Thanks Lisa.kenny13 for the placement.

We returned to have another look for this cache and found it a place that we know we looked yesterday and today we looked again and voila there was a cache container. We found a TB in the cache which is listed as unknown, time for it to resume it's journey. The cache has lots of goodies in for the little ones that will attend this cache.SL TFTC

1.30 pm, Not for us today after a drive here from Kaniva. We came back and had another good search, no idea what we are missing. From the cache page notes we felt that the item near GZ would lead us to the cache. We inspected each item, took out all the items still a no. We will watch this cache.
