Thought I would stop and have a look for this one while passing. Should have checked logs and not bothered.
Found with Ma7:7hew and SA_Parrothead on our Australia day run originally planned to do all the Mitcham Quarry series but injury and exhaustion led us to abandon those plans after #4 and do a bunch of easy ones. This one was the first of the day on the way to Mitcham Quarries #1. Nice easy find TFTC
The hint is misleading now since the cache location has changed. A quick find once we stopped looking where the hint suggested.
Thanks

Started looking on the wrong side of the road, but the GPS soon settled and took us to the right place [^].

Yet another DNF with this cache. And now it looks like the location has changed. Will I find it before it's gone forever?
Took a minute to find this one, as it was a process of elimination and waiting for the muggle traffic to go by.

Looked everywhere but neither post nor bridge were of any help. Found plenty of good other hiding places but nothing ... Cache lives on to fight another day!
Well it is still there. You no longer need a stick to retrieve it. I spoke with someone who visited a while ago and our description of where it is hidden differs. Perhaps the roadworks and gardening have changed the layout. The notepad is still in a white vitamin container and the notepaper was new, although a little wet. Dried it out on the dashboard of the car while we went for a walk.

Had a decent look around - and no finds over the last 6-7 weeks. Doesn't look good - worth a check mb?
Found at 1215hrs after a short search & various cars going by. Replaced the log book as it was sopping wet & the cache had water in it, with some loose pages as the pad we had was too big . The owner has not been on in 6 years so if anybody is looking after this cache & would like the last log book back once it has dried out please let us know. Log book now in a zip lock bag. TN LN SL.

I'm not sure what happened to the original cache hide, but a stick was definitely not needed to retrieve the cache. I placed it back where I found it and put some camouflage over it.
Found with Badooleoo.

[I've relocated the cache here:] The new location is within an ARMCO support bracket, closest to the original location. [With all the maintenance in the area, it may not last there very long.]
"It's gone..." Maintenance carried out on the adjacent carpark in the last week have pretty much ruined this cache. I found it still in its hidy hole, but unfortunately the railing has been pulled from the ground and is now part of the barricade used to prevent entry to the carpark whilst renovations are being carried out. See picture. As luck would have it, I scoped out the original position a few weeks ago, so fortunately I knew what to look for. The pipe has been deformed and removal proved difficult but I have rescued the container. I've put it back in approximately the original position near the road. I've posted a maintenance log with the new position encrypted. This has been one of the more interesting caches I've had so far .
Found at about Noon. Great place for a picnic. Take a walk along the creek and keep your eyes looking up, there is a small Koala colony in the area, about 6 to 8 Koalas.
pretty easy, get to GZ, and it's right there. small little poke and it popped up. Pretty cool. Just have to watch for traffic.
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 1:00pm. Parked under a tree full of Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos and they were throwing down the pine cones so had to move the car quickly before damage was done to the hire car. A difficult extraction but success in the end. TFTC

After searching in incorrect hide location nearby, checked the GPSr again, and located. Difficulty finding a flexible object, but eventually got it out !!
Placed elastic band around the top of the container as the tape has lost its sticky.

Had to brush the spiderwebs away! They must work quickly. This cache seems to be BYO pencil.
Found with Racing Stripes, K8eus and MayGrape while walking the Yurrebilla Trail over 3 days. This is the kind of nutty stuff Rover Scouts get up to. We camped out each night, at the Mt Lofty Youth Hostel and near Morialta. Although the Yurrebilla isn't that long, getting all the caches slowed us down a lot, and it was pretty warm
Cool hide.
Cool hide.
A good cache, requires some decoding, searching and a small amount of problem solving.
We were stopped here for the night and saw there was a cache nearby. So at 9pm we went looking and found it. TFTH
Very clever hide and original too. Quick find as the co-ords were spot on and the clues very helpful.

It was a bitterly cold night when Team Ransid, new cacher J.A.C.H. and two muggles went out to find Koala Creek Chloride. We were staying at the Brown Hill Creek Caravan Park and could not dare go home without finding this one so close to the CV Park. We had a great time retrieving the cache! The two muggles who were with us might not be muggles for much longer. I suspect after having so much fun with this, they might be become geocachers themselves very soon!

Like Trail06 we found this one whilst doing yurrebilla start. The necessary equiptment was found quickly (perhaps left by trail)and cache rose to the occasion TFTC
What a wonderful day for a 17 km walk. We started in Belair and walked the Yurrabilla Trail and with the added incentive of a cache or two, the day was made perfect. The team took awhile to locate the necessary equipment but we were successful in the end. Thanks for the fun of the hunt and a reason for a walk. TNLN.
Nice hide concept but finding a retrieval tool was a bit of a problem, lots of tools with spikes around but that wasn't an option, eventually found the correct tool and the jobby was done
Found by Glenn and Sophie at 2.17pm
Getting the correct tool was the only problem we had with this cache, and the number of 3 corner jacks in Sophies thongs. (She's a teenager, aren't thongs good for bush walking?)

First cache for our day of caching.
Had to come and pick up the geocoin as it sounded interesting.
Team NkJ brought us here and wanted to see how long it took for us to find it. Only took a minute without clues.
Nice hide, i really liked it.

Staying only 500m away [^]so thought best go check this cache out. Lovely stroll "up the creek" and nifty hide once we sourced the correct tools T:Nil L:geocoin (has been with us for the last 3000+km). Thanks Methyl and Co for our first (non borderline) SA hide [:d]
Found on way home from picnic not far from here so couldn't let it go. Interesting hide! tftc
Arrived near GZ and spotted a family of Blue Wrens with the male having brilliant colour. Watched them for a while then tackled the cache. A very good hide that we found easily and retrieving the cache went well too.

24hr cache-hunt run by snapper!!! and varuna. The cache was found and signed (sticker), before heading back to where Everlasting (Driver) was waiting in her car, to drive onto the next cache. This cache was one of our 120 finds. Thanks for the cache and the spot.
As we had been meaning to check this cache out for ages we were pleased to find that it had survived the fire but we couldn't find the nectarine tree-think it must have been replaced by all the new native ones!

#53 of 62 cache finds for day two in Adelaide in the company of dak’s Emu Mob. This was a nice area next to the creek; we soon found a stick and had the cache in hand. One of the advantages of caching at night is you get to hear and see the wildlife that comes out after dark. Thanks methyl_bromide and the halogens for the cache.
Have been meaning to do this one for some time.

Passing today in non-workmen hours made for an easy find - have been here before when the council or NPWS have been busy.
Chugger wanted this cache for the Cool Kids game so unfortunately we did the cache the lazy way tonight, will have to return sometime to explore the area better though - TFTC
Found on a morning out and about when I should have been doing other things. (sometimes they are the best). Took frog and left clip. I haven't been here since I was a kid and it was just lovely. Makes me feel like coming camping for the hell of it. TFTC
Once we got creative with hint interpretation, finding the phoenix was piece of cake!
I've finally started, this being my first cache. Read through the clues and used the hints. Found the cache without any trouble. Thanks guys for a good first cache. here's to many more.
A memorable cache for all the wrong reasons
After finding another nearby cache I returned to the pushbike to find I had locked it to a very sturdy fence, but the key to the bikelock was sitting at home about 10.3kms away according to the GPS [:o]
So whilst I was waiting for the key to my bikelock to arrive (courtesy of Dad's are us couriers, Pty. Ltd) I took the opportunity to have a stroll to nab this nearby cache
Very clever little hide and much mirth and merriment was had [^]
Returning to my firmly ensconced bicycle I had a short time to have another chuckle at both my, er, stupidity and the fun of finding this salty marsupial of a cache

A quick visit today to insert a new logbook. I have the old one in my geocaching archive. Checked the action of the cache, no lubrication required. Cheers - UNKA DAVE
Finally got to this one. Read the clues and logs carefully and found it quickly. The log book is a bit 'past it'. Took nothing, left toy frog. Enjoyed the visit. Thanks.
Finally read the clues and twigged where the cache was hiding. Found a suitable extraction device and my uncle was Bob!
The original log book is pretty far gone, and the supplement supplied by JMCH is also coming apart. I didn't have anything suitable to use as a replacement, but it could really do with a new logbook...

Found at 12:50PM. No muggles around when I retrieved it, but a huge party of bushwalking kids turned up to have lunch at GZ just as I was about to replace it.
