TFTC Team Piggy. Found a little ways away from where I first started searching. Taking my new car for a zoom through the hills - some caching was in order
Found it! This might just be the oldest cache I have found. Nice roadside reserve, great shady spot to stretch the legs. Searched a few different options before spotting it a little way away from where it was telling me to look. TFTC!
Road tripped to Adelaide for theLeap Day Mega, caching all the way and trying to fulfil various challenges. This cache-which challenge/why? oldieBack in the Adelaide Hills after 4 very long intense days with 3 others finding ALL of the 1000+ On your Bike series and a few dozen others as well! I'm knackered and having a slow day today to recover and wash the sweaty clothes. Had a drive around here finding a few caches and playing tourist. I use a phone to cache with and it did bounce around a bit while looking for this one, but as it's never accurate even on a good day I'm used to narrowing down a wide search range anyway. Wandered around for a minute and picked a few likely spots and found it on the second try. All good here. I think this would be a nice spot on a hot day. TFTC
And on the seventh dayThe best cure for Post Leap Day Blues (yes ,thats a real thing) is to either: a) Get up at 5:30am to go caching including an event in a new LGA or b) Sleep in until 10am and go shopping SQUIRM managed to do both Thanks Team Piggy
Day 8 of SQUIRMs adventures around South Australia and with only 2 days left theres still some targets to get. Heading towards our next target we detoured into the forest to find this one. GPS bounced around but after checking a few trees we found the right one. Tftc Team PiggyFind #5746
Found in our group of six Queenslanders unsupervised in Radelaide mega'ing. Stacey is touring us around Adelaide picking up some stragglers. All logs signed or stamped as SQUIRM. Thanks for the cache Team Piggy
After 16 years of caching the time has come to tick off a mega. After arriving late last night into Adelaide I was up early with a mission to collect as many cache types as were available today. I headed into town before the event in the hope to pick up the web cam caches and a sprinkling of others to set me up for the rest of the day. Finding a safe place to park I was soon at ground zero and the prize was quickly obtained. Now off to enjoy more of what Adelaide has to offer and tick a few boxes along the way.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this available to be found.Cheers
Like others, my GPS put me a little out, but we found it. Much smaller than suggested.
I’m visiting South Oz from Townsville for about a week. I’ve a few targets on my list and this more than likely was one of them.
This run sees me picking up one or two of the On ya Bike Series, SFE challenges, virtuals, multies and whatever else I can grab. Probably bitten off more than I can chew but will see how I go.
Now that’s done I’m likely going after some challenges and whatever else takes my fancy
Third tree. Lol.
Thanks Team Piggy for placing this Traditional for my fun and games

A very clever hide this one!!! Always love when it is a little more challenging!! TFTC
This one took me quiet a bit of time to locate but as it was rather a warm day, it was quite pleasant in the shade of these old trees.

Ooh this was a bugger! Mum found it after poking and prodding every part of 2 more obvious suspects. Good fun, almost gave up. TFTC
GPS got me to 8m out... a sweep of the 2 nearest trees did not reward me. Thank you for your hide
This evening, I travelled to Clarendon primarily to complete *The History of Clarendon* Adventure Lab, and visited a variety of places that contained geocaches. I hadn't fully explored Clarendon before except for an engagement party at the pub, and found it a quite historical and quaint town sitting next to the river. I used the remaining day's light to find roadside geocaches along the turns and crests of the roads, driving back through Blackwood to return home.
This was my final location visit tonight, and was on my target/bucket list due to its age. However, it turned out to be the most disappointing, as I spent 30 min looking all around the vicinity, and just couldn't find any evidence of a geocache. I looked in all sorts of directions, and think I checked all 10-12 trees around GZ. If the cache is still here, it is very well hidden. Bugger. Thanks anyway Team Piggy for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I’ve stumbled onto this 2003 cache by accident. Despite the warnings, I allowed GPS to lead me in the wrong direction before expanding the search. Thanks for the hunt Team Piggy.
Nice find! Took us a bit longer than others, but Erine14 eventually spotted something hiding away. Container is now a small we were looking for bigger hiding spots.

Took us a bit to find it but got there in the end. Was a little tricky with all the tree cover TFTC
Took a while to find this as there were so many hiding spots. In the end it was looking at the right angle that allowed us to nab this one. Great area to look around and reflect on those who have fallen. TNLN. Cheers.
Pulled up to find this oldie, no one was around today and managed to walk straight up and find it. Cache and it’s contents are all good.
This morning I set out to find some caches around cherry gardens and coromandel valley, with the day predict to rain I planned to be home by lunch time. All in all 18 finds for the morning.

Found while out a bit south of the Belair National Park with a new Oregon 700.
Looks like some research is required before logging happens as desired.
Parked across the road and seeing the difficulty and age did some reading before going for a look.
Decided cache creep had probably occurred so put GPSr away when getting close to GZ and just had a wander and a look. Wasn't long before I was handing a cache up to myself for signing.
Thanks Team Piggy for the cache

On the way to Echunga for a Scout event.
Just started to search the area when we spotted it open on the ground, contents strewn. Everything looks to be there, including the original log book. Replaced where we thought it might go according to previous logs. TFTC

The heavy foliage cover certainly makes GPS units a litle erratic in this environment. W e searched a number of the dominant objects before we located the cache. Retrieval required additional skills as the cache had to be lifted to a position where it could be extracted. Thanks Team Piggy for the cache.
Heading out to run a couple of errands I decided to combine them with some caching. It was an enjoyable day besides being slightly overcast, picking up some caches that have been on my raider for a while now. All caches were found in good condition.

GPS did indeed cause some issues but found looking in likely places. Luckily not in the one that has come down.

On a driving holiday picking up windmills for a couple of mega multi caches between Canberra and Adelaide. There were quite a few spots to choose from and I was wondering why the coordinates seemed off. Then I noticed the age of this cache. Glad to find an old one. Plus the tree cover makes it hard. I was a bit worried that GZ had had a bad encounter with a chainsaw when I tried a less likely hide and came up with the goods. Even my 8 foot reach needed a boost for this one. Once I picked up my GPS it had finally settled and said 1m.

Team Piggy ... I am not sure what your cryptic hint means ... but I found your cache anyway . As that wise old AnyMules once said when I told him I couldn't find a cache... 'I should look harder', and that is what I did in this case. I never dreamed to look in the spot where I found the GC under normal circumstances. Love your work. Good to visit the memorial gardens on Anzac Day ... the local people certainly have paid their respects to the fallen at the memorial in the gardens. TFTC
I came though here years ago caching the outer hills area.
Even in the daylight, this wooded area is quite dark.
The daylight was fading, but we bought our handy torches
A bit of searching found the right tree.
Other equipment was utilised along with a stick to dislodge the cache.
I liked coming here the first time, even better when you find the hide...
Thanks for bringing us here Team Piggy good to cross this one finally off the list

Out & about late this afternoon with clare007...gotta love daylight savings...
We had driven past this one on a couple of occasions as the clue suggested height was needed & as I am not as tall as some an additional TOTT would be required...
We ensured we packed the TOTT today & headed into the dark with our torches...
We searched & located the cache then the TOTT was required for the retrieval...
Log signed & cache placed back as found...
Thanks for the placement Team Piggy

This is my 300th find! ! Out on a night adventure with squeak11 and bokbok9 tonight. Saw a couple of dnfs for this and read previous logs saying it was tricky so thought we would give it a try. Turned out to be a great cache for my 300th find. We searched quite a few trees by torchlight and then i was the one who spotted it. Great hide. Favourite point.

Off for an afternoon caching with Purrfect Di.
Well this was a tricky little box to find!!!
After much hunting around, climbed a little and located/signed the cache.

Nice to get another old one ticked off!

Found with RideTheGeoWalrus Moneydork and Alex-thesquirrel
Jumpy coords but I spotted this one and Alex-thesquirrel retrieved it. Retrieving it took for squirrel to use some natural tools. But just as he was doing that, Walrus reached it from the other end! We placed it back as found. Watch out for worms and caterpillars on this tree..

What a neat place! The big old trees have character.
We went to GZ and then expanded our search, looking for likely hiding spots. We soon narrowed it down to only a few possibilities and I made the "look in that spot" that proved successful.
I've driven past this a few times so I was grateful for the impetus to stop off and discover this neat place.

Heading down south from some pizza, laughs, ciders and GSAK learning with a fun group of cachers. So what do I do on the way there and back. [?] Grab a few caches of course.
Perhaps torchlight was a blessing in disguise here. The GPS was of very little use so I resorted to what previous finders have done and just started checking out all the trees. In the torch light i was able to see the bottom of the cache. Not a 1.5 terrain as I had to get a bit of elevation to reach it. Thanks Team Piggy.

Have had my eye on this one for a while. Today I swung past and found the cache hidden safely in its nook, complete with original logbook. TFTC Team Piggy!
Like the last finder was able to guess the correct hiding spot even though the gps had me elsewhere TFTC.
GPS lock wasnt accurate under the thick trees, so went from tree to tree to find likely hiding spots. Saw a possible spot and then stepped up to grab it and there it was! Happy to have it in hand in under 5 mins, but I think I either got lucky or my geo-senses were finely tuned today. Great hiding spot - gets a fav point. TFTC Team Piggy.
Found on a very chilly arvo out with friends. The GPS is definitely not happy here. A first find to our friends and hopefully future cachers. Thanks
found in the dark after coming back from doing night multis in murray bridge. I minute before and it would have been found on the 24th.

I spent over 20 minutes looking for this one....which on one hand I had a lovely time outside on such a beautiful day, but on the other hand I was totally frustrated with not finding the cache! grrrrr
Last time I was in Cherry Gardens I avoided trying this cache as it was getting dark and it sounded difficult.
Today in the bright morning sun we walked around and assessed GZ. A likely spot was located and with a couple of steps up JJ52 made the retrieval.
A clever hiding spot in a lovely wooded grove of trees. Very enchanted forest!

I had been here once before but without the required geotools. Today Ismartis and I stopped and made our way to the likely looking spot with the geotool and very soon the cache revealed itself.
I was glad to have made the find this time. [^]

I'll be back later to find this one out!!! Geo senses need a reboot me thinks! (Food! Lol)
Down south for a couple of days tackling some caches with Tomboy711. We arrived very late and by torchlight and with a great deal of help from Tomboy711 we soon had the cache in hand and the log was signed. TFTC
Had tried this one previously, but was sent all over the place by my GPS. A lot of cleaning and tidying in the area has helped the navigation and found this time . TFTC
Since we couldn't find this one last time we thought we'd come back and have another look. A confirmation it was still there after a council prune got us back up this way to change it to a smiley face! Mr geo found it in the end, I was barking up the wrong tree! Tftc!
A Rat, an Owl and a Locus set out for a day of adventure.
We brought the height giving geotools for this one.
Arrived at GZ to find that the trees had been trimmed.
We searched this one and that one.
Doctor Owl says lets try this one, on our way back to the car.
Doctor Owl's persistence paid off.
The cache had been located, signed and returned. tftc

Doctor Owl asked me to accompany her and SA Sewer Rats on a caching day.
An early start and an early finish made it a very different day for me
All up, it was a quality not quantity caching day as we targeted specific caches for a variety of reasons.
At the end of the day, I was very happy with my 14 finds
My last cache for the day and I'm very grateful to not have finished with a DNF!
Arriving at GZ and there was nowhere for the cache to have been hiding
Far worse was the numerous pieces of tree branches laying around the huge trees and so we feared that the cache may have been destroyed or removed by the workers.
After using the magic geotool to search several places, Doctor Owl suggested 'there' and sure enough, that was where the cache was!
It's great to get a find on an older cache like this [^]
My GPSr showed coords to be about 18m out.

Owl was out with Locuscache and SA Sewer Rats and was keen to get help with a couple of previous DNFs, including this one. It looked like the council had been searching for this cache with a chainsaw, opening up the area so much that correct satlock might now be achieved, even if the current coords might be dodgy. A process of elimination brought the trio to the only other possible spot and an almost afterthought on the way to the car. Success and a very satisfying one at that!
Didn't find this one today, it looks like the local council has taken to the park with a chainsaw very recently
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Passing by and this one popped up on the radar and decided to give it a go. Was a bit worried by the difficulty but got close to GZ and looked where the GPSR took me but there were no logical hiding spots so moved to another spot and quickly the cache was in hand. Signed log and replaced. Gratias pro cache.
On the way home from a day in the hills with the geokids.
Was about to give up as the geomiss said she was too cold when I spied a likely spot. Not long after the cache was in hand. The kids did some swaps and we were on our way. TFTC.

Great find on second look, needed the young to climb tree when thought had location
Great find and we loved the tree climbing, stayed longer to do some more climbing
Great one to have able bodies to climb trees spent a while while nephews climbed the trees a great find
If only I was 20 years younger, considerably fitter, and not suffering from a horrible cold, then that would have been a lot easier. But I go there after circling and working out the best way up. TFTC.
A lovely little park beside the soldiers memorial. After reading previous logs I knew it was going to be up. After 20 minutes I had, had enough climbing and I was about to go when I thought just one more and then there it was. I saw this one as I entered the park but walked straight past it, silly me
What a very pretty little spot, both up the top at the memorial and down amongst the trees at GZ. Our GZ had us closer to one tree that we spent a while looking around but no luck. After looking at another tree that may have been close to GZ, Mrs TiedyeSmileys came back to the first, but once again no luck. Went a bit further afield back toward the road and Mr TiedyeSmileys spotted a spot that looked promising for either a cache or small possum. After climbing up the cache was soon spotted and in hand.

Ooooh so many options, reading previous logs absolutely helped the cause.
Found this fella after about 10 minutes of not trusting the GPSr and just going for it.
We have driven past here and not even realised this park existed, we leave here a little more knowledgeable and a little saddened to think families went through the grief of losing loved ones due to war. When will we learn?
Majestic trees that they are, the evidence of cracking limbs was showing so it looks like several limbs may drop away from the main trunk on some of these soon.
Thanks Team Piggy for the cache, looks like this one will stay safe from muggles for a long time. Signed the log and replaced safe and sound as found.
