My apologies for this still being offline...As I had found it prior to adopting, it doesn't appear on my app when I have finds turned off, despite being the owner! As a result, I've neglected to stop by to remedy this oldie.I'll endeavour to get to get here ASAP in next few weeks, it's now marked in my GPSr!If in the meantime if someone is keen to go to GZ, feel free to contact me re the replacement, before you go.This is a very old cache, and I know the reviewers are giving a bit of leeway in relation to the maintenance issue. We can all help oldies like this to help others fill their Jasmer too.ThanksHurtle
Heading down this way in a few weeks...If anyone woukd like to help keep this and any other very old cache alive, please contact me prior, or pay it forward with a lil maintenance on oldies. Thanks
Quick find here. Very nice views. Logbook was absolutely soaked… replaced with a brand new log with a baggie. Left the old logbook inside cache as there was place. Container looks fine, may have just been left open.

This cache has just had its 19th Birthday, how awesome!!
Great to see some older caches still up and running, this one is old enough to vote, although the closest polling booth is quite some distance away.
We were lured to the vicinity by a new cache, ran out of time yesterday to track down this one and a couple of much younger caches so returned today. We signed the soggy paper as Kcrew as it was difficult to not wreck the log sheet. We were travelling light so couldnt replace the sheet, hopefully the next finder will read our log.
We had the area to ourselves and enjoyed the huge views and tranquility, guess this is not a very busy area at any time but its always great to have these spots to ourselves, gives us a feeling of "first person to be there", (well except for the fences, gates and tracks), a very relaxing expereince.
Thanks to Barry and Beryl for placing and thanks to Hurtle for adopting, found it, signed it, drained the water from it and replaced in its hidey spot. SOS - NEXT CACHER BRING A NEW LOG SHEET.

Found while in the area picking up some new caches. A nice easy find but a bit wet inside though. TFTC!
A nice short walk down the hill to this one, managed to find both containers, unfortunately the new one is very damp but short be fine.
Today I decided to head south towards the fleurieu peninsula collecting caches along the way, I just just popped from cache to cache and the aim was to clean up around yankalila but some how I found myself at Victor Harbour, still a great day out and a total of 49 finds.
Thanks for the cache

10 months unloved, so great to find this cache on a road with stunning views. Found the burnt out cache and the new container under it. TFTC
From here we headed down to the creek and then upwards to the Wild Dog Waterfall - no track, so it was slow going, but a pretty area to walk through.

Found, a Kylie bit waterlogged. I emptied the water and made sure the zippy bag was properly sealed. Great view and fab location. TFTC
Fun afternoon caching down South with Purrfect Di.
A fun drive in along a road that really wasn't marked that clearly.
A surprise park with a cache or two at the end of the rollercoaster mud slush trip in
Great views. Roos, And a good clean cache along with the burnt remains of the old one.

A quick find while caching in the area with Cows with guns. Got to meet a fair sized kangaroo by the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Not sure if I went the right way to this one but I had a great walk from Nunn Rd. Great views. Found the cache and contents in good condition with the old cache sitting on top. TFTC
Thank you so much for replacement this cache which has am now caring for, it's very appreciated.
Well reading previous logs before setting out, I took with me a replacement black small kiwi plastic box, with a few swops, I found the previous remains, seriously burnt, have placed the new cache container in, I hope, a fire proof (lite) ring of rocks, the previous container is also there showing a bit of green in the scrub. I think the hardest bit is finding the track in, but the views once you get to the 'Myponga Conservation Park' are worth it. Black boy heaven! Same Co-ordinates as before.
Out for a nice drive along the back roads around Myponga finding a few caches along the way. Had fun driving on some of these roads that I had never been on before and the views were pretty speccy.
A great drive in to GZ, up hill and down dale, felt like I was four wheel driving without a 4WD. A great view when I arrived at GZ and like others found the burnt out container, but I was able to sign my name on a piece of the log book that remained.
Thanks for the cache Barryd SA.

As we made our way down to the cache looking at all the blackness from the fire that was here, the regrowth has already started to happen, when we reached GZ a very melted cache was found under some rocks, we signed what was left of the log book, will need another cache placed here. TFTC
Was sad to see this lovely old cache in disrepair today.
Caching with 3LG .
A fire had recently been through this area and cache was melted together and only a small space on what had been original log book to sign.
Sorry did not have another container with me.
Definately needs owner maintenance.

Drove in with my all terrain Magna Lots of wildflowers and great views made this a memorable cache find. Thanks Barryd SA.
Day 10 : 31 Days of Geocaching.
Lovely drive around today. Although Terrain was lot more than 1 today after the recent rains.
Enjoyed the walk to the cache, the Wattle is out in flower and plenty of Roos around.

Find while meandering home from FFF. Fantastic views all along the ridge on the way in followed by a short walk through the quiet scrub to the prize. Thanks Barry & Beryl, we missed you at the June event.
Hasn't been found for well over a year and had two visitors today. After approaching from the North and not relishing a 2km walk up the hill (and another 2kms back) we went for a long drive to find the other way in. We saw another pair of tyre marks on the track, and low and behold discovered Alex's name in the logbook. Well done Alex getting the magna in there, and thanks B&B for bringing us here. Top location.
June Long Week end is now coming to an end and time to head home but why not do a few more caches before leaving and a couple other caches to do before we officially leave the area. Geodad and Geodaughter we met up with Laighside Legends doing a few caches. TFTC
Found It!
I got a ride into this one with TheKellyGang and we soon found the cache!

After pondering on whether we should be driving on the track or not we'd better read the logs and decided this has to be the way Was a slow trip down to GZ having a reasonably low car Great views TFTC
A good drive along the ridge and fantastic views to boot. Thanks Barryd SA.
Fantastic spot. Amazing views. And great cache. Left bottle opener, what happened last night, took Maggie.

GPSr left me with a 1.5km walk through the bush. This cant be right. From this spot I saw what looked like a tree lined track in the distance so headed for this spot. Saw the Heysen trail marker and a bit of a look discovered that it was in fact a driveable track. Nice little walk to GZ with a great view. Found cache inside a minute. Would never have discovered this track. TFTC
12 months since the last visit, hiking the Heysen trail today and made a 200m detour through the bush for a smiley, cache still in great condition with the log book only slightly damp, great views and the nearby waterfall was flowing well TNLN TFTC
Accompanied by Everlasting. I had the same problems as other cachers about how to get there. I tried twice then Everlasting suggested using Google Earth and then we found the way. We enjoyed our brief walk towards the cache.
Thanks Barry and Beryl for the cache.

Beauty - love back road with Lava12, we enjoyed drive the car along to GZ, love country - so green... Thanks for bring us to be there today. No swap. SL. Thanks Barry and Beryl for organising the cache and hunt.
Tried this one a while ago with Snowone but couldn't find how to get to it. This time with a close up look on Google Earth before heading out the path needed to travel was clear. A quick find with Geo son in tow.

The Tom Tom had no idea how to get to thiis one but Ozi showed me the way. Quick find before a group of walkers came down the Heysen trail. TFTC
Thank goodness for a mapping GPS! Don't reckon we could have found it without and we were wondering if we were ever going to get there ! Met Dezza on his tractor on the way, who was able to confirm the roads we needed to take. As we got out of the car we heard a rustling noise, and to our delight there was an echidna just next to us. Beautiful wildflowers around at the moment. T SIDs pin, L squid jig. TFTC
Found with team USBUSU and Poky. Nice drive, quick find. Took elephant, left red-back spider.
Had no idea this spot was here! Looks pretty steep if you keep walking past GZ off the track. Found with baloo&baggy and poky. TFTC!
We nearly went the long very hilly way. Tom tom was trying to trick us. We loved the area when we figured it out. Fantastic place. Thankyou.TNLT.
Enjoyed the drive to this one and the short walk. Took a while to find the cache, in fact we nearly gave up. No swaps. Saw a kangaroos on the way out.
Thanks Barry and Beryl for bringing us to some great places today.

My second find! Was easy to find and the cache is in good condition except for the plastic bag! Can see my house from the view
Rolling green hills- what a view!
Huge mud puddle and looming muddy dirt road hills- what a drive!
We attempted this one months ago- but the red Heysen trail markers were not obvious to us the first time... this time -after doing the "Yulti-Yulte" near-by cache we weren't too intimidated to drive into that seeming-to-be private drive!
The first time was summer too- and all the land was barren and harsh- awesome sight- but today's was inspiring- all those green hills- could they be alive with the sound of.... baa-ing?
The hint was a little help, but ultimately it was the familiarity of geo-hiding places that led us to the cache.
TFTC with a view.
OUT:glow pen & snowman ornament ( nearly cold enough to build a snowman lately! lol )

Found 10:30. Day 4 of our Fleurieu Caching Holiday, 2nd of 12 on the journey home. Quick find on a beautiful morning, the rain held off long enough for us to log the cache. Another lesson learnt from caching is that don't always believe that mapsource is always right! and that dry weather roads are just that! . Took: Hook + Stickers, Left: Pony + Badge, SL. TFTC and the great views.
A beautiful spot to stop, found with very little trouble, didn't know that this place existed. TNLN TFTC
Good cache but we newbies kept taking wrong roads. Eventually found it after turning to return home almost beaten and realised the road we were meant to go on....
Last one for the day and 1/2 hour light left. Saw Kangaroos abounding.
Nice twist to make julie1958 happy to complete the finds.

Last cache for the day on a trip down south and very enjoyable it was to.
We had stopped using Tom which seemed to think the road was 18 metres away and had swapped to OziCe and shock horror navigating manually using 1:50000 maps.
Zoomed past the old church and found the road entry point easily. However first few hundred metres also had us worried it was a private road.
Travelling along you can see it is quite well sign posted with Heysen markers indicating it is a road.
Even passed the couple who had the house at the top of the road out walking their dog.
Me and SA Mystery Inc ambled along to GZ and just enjoyed the beauty of it all before having to head home.

Yoda lead us astray this time (yoda on tom tom that is) but eventually found the spot, but took some finding, we searched all the wrong places. came up trumps in the end TNLNSL
Another hidden little treasure with excellant coastal views. Took a little bit of searching to find the cache. TNLNSL Thx B&B
after several circuits of the Fleurieu we eventually found the right road. We transited several farms and accessed the Heysen trail at several points.Nevertheless the drive was worth it through some of the best country in SA.The track in was not signposted and looked like a private drive. This is a little disappointing given that the area is a named conservation park! The view from GZ was fantastic and the afternoon a very pleasant one. We took a short time to locate the cache. Thanks so much for bringing me to this place it was a joy .I would never have known about this park if not for geocaching.
Took bike and badge
Left 2$nz and marble from melbourne

The day had warmed up quite a bit by the time we set off for this cache, so decided we too would drive to within 100 metres. Was able to understand my blurry Natmap Raster map well enough to pick out the Heysen Trail, so thought that would at least be a good start. Stopped off to photograph a beautiful old church that doesn't look like it will be upright for too much longer. A nice track to the cache, and not too bad a walk either for the last section. Once again, spent too long looking in the wrong spots before miss J spotted it. TNLNSL. Thanks B & B.
We headed the wrong way at first, but then found the right road.
There were some lovely wildflowers at the car park, and lots of heavy thumping in the bush - they must be BIG kangaroos around here.

Likewise another B&B today, lost track of just how many today! Having taken wrong notes from car, I was looking for a 'distance marker' a la 'View From on High'!! [:o)] Soon realised my error, and eventually found with a dodgy sat loc and wrong notes!!
Left a Patch TNSL
Thanks again B&B

Another B&B bush cache. I love them. I had originally intended to walk the 4k or so round trip to this one, but decided to see how far along the road I could get the Geo-Commode. Almost all the way, it turned out, and I was left with only about a 100m saunter to pick it up. Some magnificent views through the trees to the distant horizon can be had at GZ. TNLN. Thanks again guys
What I like about this sport is that it takes me places that I would not have normally gone to. Nearly a drive by but had to walk that little way. The rangers didn't like me disturbing them.

Started to head towards this one, in the geo-jeep with the posspet boys, but due to failing light, in-ability to get near GZ, lack of fuel, and the need for a pub, we abandoned this one, and will return another day.
Tried for this one a while back but fading light defeated me and I couldn't have a good look. Today found straight away after a nice drive down the dirt track. Took a bouncy ball and left a marsupial mole who should feel at home here in the Conservation Park. Thanks Barry & Beryl.
We wouldn't have come anywhere near here if it hadn't been for the caching game. Found after taking only one wrong turn. Took whistle and left seahorse. Thanks again Barry and Beryl.
A very nice little drive into this remote park. Took longer to find the cache than it did to walk into it though, due to poor satalite loc. Took a happy buddah and left a calculator. Cheers.
We introduced some friends to geocaching and started with this one. A beautiful drive and easy to find with 8 helpers.
Left: whistle, badge, bouncy ball, small carabine
Took: Calculator, puncture kit
Thanks

Found by ThomasS, WolfS and KS. Nice easy find, after we found the correct access road! (It certainly wasn't on my map) That took the longest! Nice location, next time I will need to walk further down that track! Took Bike tool, left snowman.
Had an interesting drive all around the Fleurieu Peninsula before finally zeroing in on the right spot. Cache very well hidden and our first timer took quite a while to spot it. Took a retractable knife and left some candles. Thanks from Team Auster
Missed the little road the first time! Once we got to the end the GPS was floating around a bit but eventually came across it. Took Koala key ring, left a Buddha.
Joined by Too Blue, ClaireBear and Kermy. Took a little to find the track in but once found our GeoCamira found the track easy going ... (scrap under car) ... ok we had to drive a little to one side of the wheel marks . Spotted several large black kangaroo's while driving down the track . Too Blue discovered cache after short search. Great area . Took TicTacs (which was soon divided amongst the group) and left play dough. Thanks Barry and Beryl
Found with Tim Tam[and 3 children], ClaireBear and Kermy. One gps in one car and one in other car. Took a couple of wrong turns but on way back found correct one[very tricky]
Thanks Barry and Beryl for your choice of locations as we have done a few of yours.

We drove down the road untill we came to the gate and then jumped out of the car. A short walk down the path and off into the bush and we found it. The cache was very exposed so we hid it as best we could after logging it.
