Cool!

My last in California for this trip. I now know why I did not see what I thought I should see on my way in - heck, I was just 100 feet away at the Super Shuttle!!!

I made the location and found what wasn't there on my way our of two a couple days later.

Many thanks, Johann Panholtz

ps after you go here, learn the artist and learn about him, google his wife, she's interesting too . . .

I had a few hours to myself this morning, so naturally I went caching! As others have noted, the statue may be missing, but the information to answer the questions remains. The parking lot attendant didn't even charge me for my short visit. Happy holidays and TFTC!

As the previous cachers have mentioned, this one has been muggled. However, the base remains with the answers to the three questions. Email sent.

Also, it looks like inflation has kicked in. The minimum parking fee is now $1.00 for 20 minutes. I had $0.50 ready but of course it's now $1.00. The only other thing I had was a twenty so it caused a bit of chaos when I paid.

We have flown out of this terminal 3 times since we started caching but never knew there was a cache here. Today we were at the airport picking up our daughter and grandkids so we made a point of finding this cache. The only problem was that they flew South Western so it was quite a walk from where we parked.
Thanks for the fun...

I hiked over from the Sheraton, saving me the glorious sum of 50 cents, met a geocacher from North Carolina in route and now need to get more information about the sculpture so I understand it better. Found at 4:20 p.m. and e-mail sent.

As a San Diego native who frequently travels by airplane, I have wanted to get this cache everytime I leave or return to the airport. Finally, on a busy Labor Day weekend around midnight the stars, shuttle, escalator and luggage aligned to make it possible. TFTC

I just flew in from Philadelphia and boy are my arms tired.Wink I just stepped outside the airport to turned on the GPS and allow it to adjust for the difference in latitude when I found that this cache was only a stone's throw away. So I made a break for the cache, and acquired the required information.

This would be my first cache attempt in California. The weather here is really awesome, especially in light of the fact that thunderstorms and hail are filling the skies back home. The cache subject is well done and it has a great message. I think that this was a great introduction to California caching and I look forward to logging some more caches while I am here. TFTC.

Came down to pick up my roommate and saw that there was a cache right at the airport and had to snag it. Now I am hanging out in the USO until he arrives.

Email on its way!
