Quickly found as we were approaching the end of the paid section (currently $45.00 + $50.00 key deposit).
TNLNSL.
The container could use a replacement, as it's starting to deteriorate again . Unfortunately, we had nothing suitable with us .
Thanks Richary.
Then came Covid-19 and caching began to take a back seat.
But with restrictions easing and socially responsible caching again possible it is time to start filling the calendars again.
Seven cachers set off in Four 4WD vehicles using satellites to search for caches in and around Arkaroola and the Gammon Ranges. [^] The Six day Arkaroola Odyssey had begun.
Day 4: Echo Camp backtrack
Not a lot of caches to find today but a helluva lot of fun 4WD driving to get to the ones we did find.
A nice stop along the track to take in the views. And find this cache as well.
***Thanks richary for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
They were interested in geocaching.
We showded them what we were doing.
They had never heard of it and thought it was a great idea.
We left a soldier and enjoyed the view.

As you say, this is a gorgeous place. We came here three months ago - all in flowers - today a bit hotter, but now, towards the evening, things are right.
We found the totally degraded plastic container - fortunately humidity does not last here - and replaced it by a 1l yogurt box. Steel like milo chocolate would be better, however we left that at the camp. Put also a new cache note in, however, the pre-printed, laminated thing has our name on; sorry, you may want to replace that. We removed all the bits and pieces which became litter. Thought you may need to service it - now I see your plans!
This was our first find of the year! - and The Arkaroo's 100's found it log.

The walk was really good for me after driving so many hours in the past few days
Thanks Richary
cheers and thanks for the cache
We were spread out over a kilometre.
I was on top of a hill acting like a traffic cop keeping track of people going in all directions.
That is one tough section to drive on.
Thanks Nibs you certainly stormed this one in.
This would be a GREAT 4WD track to actually drive. One day…..
Thanks Richary .
Just what the doctor ordered a walk in the park after sitting in the car all day. That was my version anyway. Great scenery and awesome geology.
Cache does need a new container and no one was all that quick to volunteer to walk out and then back in with a new one from where we had parked the cars as we weren't prepared to pay $40 to find one cache.

The cache is in excellant condition.
Took: Aussie Pencil. Left Tape measure
Dropped in and out only some TB as this would have to be one of the most remote cache that they could go to.
Thanks Richary for placing the hide.
The Bushies NSW.
Suggest you have a High Clearance 4wd or be prepared to do some road works..
Cheers.
Took CD, left a stapler
Thanx
Took - "C" batteries for the torch
Left - CD of music from COSMOS
All the other tracks pale in comparrison to this one and we think that the Terrain rating can be considered a little higher.
Thank richary for this amazing adventure.
