I was nearby at an event, and someone mentioned this cache. I am sure I once had a go at collecting all the info, but never quite finished it, mainly due to living 400 km away at the time. Thanks
After a disappointing DNF the last time I was here I was keen to come and find the cache with a couple of previous finders while attending a nearby CITO. Cache was found well hidden a little way away from where we were looking last time. Thanks for the cache Team Stargazer.
Was with two former finders, one went off in the wrong direction, the other pretty much walked straight to it which made for an easy find here today. Kids are a bit older now, but have frequented so many playgrounds over the years, thanks for the awesome multi Team Stargazer
We saw this one had been resurrected and thought we'd tackle it in one day.Two days ago...Our day began at 9.30am at the wooden playground. After the first count, clearly we counted one item incorrectly as our coords were a few hundred metres from a playground. After a recount we got much closer and carried on regardless (this folly was to come back and haunt us later!)After completing the count at PG2, and using an approximate start point, we adjourned for coffee and cake PG3 was uneventful and took us to what appeared to be a playground. Unfortunately for us, it was a miscalculation on our part and none of the clues matched the equipment. After a lap of the oval in search of another playground, I had a brainwave that the clues matched another playground nearby that we were familiar with.Sure enough, the items matched, data was gathered and we headed home for lunch and to examine our numbers.PG 5 was uneventful and the numbers took us close enough to PG6.Data was again gathered and GZ coords garnered. This is where our estimation at PG1 came back to bite us, as nothing was found within 30m of GZ in any direction. So we retired for the day having travelled 90km in 5 hours (lunch and coffee breaks aside). After contacting the CO and establishing the error of our ways, he added a checksum to the calculations, and we redid all the calculations next day... arriving at a new GZ approx 40m away, and on the other side of a significant geographical feature!Today we revisited the area and found the container after a few minutes searching, in excellent condition considering it's been there for 20+ years... and happy to be the first finders in 4 years.A favourite for the adventure and work done to keep this oldie alive. Thanks Team Stargazer.TFTC
As a suggestion from **Wal & Ol**, I've added a "*Checksum*" to each playground. This is the sum of your answers, added together, for the playground you're currently at. Hope this helps
Cache is back online!! I did a full run of the cache today and updated some questions. Checked on the condition of the cache and, as you can see, it's looking pretty good for a 21 year old
###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###----------This cache is carrying one or more logs which suggest some attention by the cache owner is needed. The guidelines advise that the CO should make occasional visits to check on the cache as well as promptly address any logs that indicate that the cache requires some attention. If you can not attend to the issue promptly, then you need to Disable the cache - I have disabled it this time. Please respond to this situation (or indicated your intentions including a date) within **28 Days**, otherwise it will be necessary to withdraw the cache from the Active listing. The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable ](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.
I'll try to review the playgrounds soon and update the cache details as needed ... stay tuned
Thanks, Team Stargazer It would be a crying shame to see this awesome oldie get archived! If I can help in some way, please let me know! [@chrispy89](https://coord.info/PR2R4JF) Remember when it took us all night to complete this cache
We often pass by and decided to give this one a try but I think it is high time this one was Archived as nothing seemed right for this one.
Came here after a nearby event with a previous finder and we couldn't spot the cache. We gathered from previous logs that it was hard to spot and having not been found for over 2.5 years it has probably been covered by all sorts of natural camo around GZ.
Today, our home was getting boxed and packed up ready for our move to Brisbane. So after lunch, a new geocache was published south of the city, and hence presented an opportunity to take a break and grab a few last minute Adelaide vicinity geocaches during the afternoon. I ended up geocaching around quite a few of the southern coastal suburbs Marino and Seacliff, and then headed around Oaklands and Marion. I then had a final drive north to Grange finding a few target caches, before returning home.
After dinner and still with light about with daylight savings, jesswrigley and I then headed around North Adelaide's park lands to grab a few TOTT geocaches. It was a nice walk about this area as we enjoyed one of our last nights in Adelaide.
I have been completing this multi-cache across many years... from mid 2018 in fact!
I had been on a roll with this multi-cache, and so I visited Playground 5 in early 2019 to see that the whole area was under construction. I sighed and cycled my bike away, to now return when it had been reinstated to the public.
Visiting today, and I’m pretty sure these questions are no longer relevant to this playground. I searched around for the Megatoy Play System with no joy.
I would recommend that the CO take a visit to Playground 5 to review the current setup, and if necessary, update the questions. I'm not sure how anyone has been able to do this multi-cache properly in the last few years.

Davidwazza alerted me to this cache near the end of 2018 from memory as we tried to fi d the info at WP1, as time continued it became harder as some things have changed over the years. With some help from fellow caches I found myself at GZ today, after searching for about 20mins I spotted the cache out of the corner of my eye. There was no way it was coming out, I had to dig the ground out with a stick and kept digging to the cache finally was free, replaced almost as found. Cache is all good
Today I set out to clean up around brown hill creek and find all the caches within close range, I soon realised I had a lot of the day left so continued on with Hawthorndene and then around Watiparinga Reserve. All in all 13km walked and 31 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

First for the day and it's always good to start with a find .
Since this one had been fixed, we worked through the stages over several weeks , mainly due to understanding the different interpretations (of both language and form), let alone counting correctly .
A great challenge that we thought may have even taken us up to St Kilda for awhile [:o)]!
The cache was a tight fit and took awhile to extract from it hiding spot . Took Key to the Door. LN. SL.
Thanks Team Stargazer.

Checked remaining playgrounds and updated some questions ... all good to go now
Cache questions for Playground 1 have been edited ... should be good to go now.
Playground 2 is ok. Will visit the remaining playgrounds soon.

I checked out Playground 1 today and have edited the affected question. All good now.
I also visited Playground 2 and all is ok there too.
So, I'll enable the cache again as I'm not aware of any problems with the remaining playgrounds but I'm hoping to check on them very soon.

I've received news that Playground 1 has had some work done on it and, as a result, it has affected the questions for this cache. I wish to do a maintenance run around all 6 playgrounds to make sure everything is ok but I won't be able to do that till about 3-4 weeks time (looking at my calendar) ... but I will get it done ASAP as I know some of you are wishing to complete this cache
Out on a caching day with an Adder, Starfish and an Owl.
This was relatively quick find. TFTC
This was relatively quick find. TFTC
Another day out with a Rat, Owl and a Starfish seeking a few previous DNF's and others while around the area. With all the mathematics completed it was off to make the find. A few choice words getting to the cache but in hand all the same. TFTC and the headache.
Out on another DNF run with Brisal5, SA Sewer Rats and Blackadder, collecting a milestone for a Starfish and other caches on the way. This looks like a multi that requires a lot of effort, but Owl was fortunate to be in the company of others who had done all the hard work. She was even able to send Brisal5 into the man-eating trees to retrieve the cache, but did manage some sound advice and unnecessary directions.
I had planned a day on the water with Mr. Muff earlier but unforseen circumstances prevented it. Today I was designated driver for Mr. Muff to make it to the Geocaching Christmas Event. That also meant collecting him from his temporary digs, a visit to Mrs. Muff, a roundabout journey to the event and another roundabout journey back to visit Mrs. Muff again.
We may have called in and grabbed a couple of caches along the way! [:o)] Then I continued to grab a few more on my way home. [8)]
Visiting playgrounds is not high on my list of things to do. That may change when I have grandkids but for now I think I look a bit suspicious just being there. So this cache is one of those do a bit now, do a bit later. Add to this my inability to find some of the parts and poor maths ability I had to use some friends help to get me through to being able to actually search for the cache. But today was the day that I was finally able to find the cache and stamp the log.
Thanks Team Stargazer for this cache.

late log. Only just realized I haven't logged this cache. Found with rod81w and sir_spectre after all of us and our geo kids visited all the needed playgrounds more than once. Counting what was needed was hard with 2 geo kids usually playing on 2 different things both wanting attention at the same time.
Looks like I'll have to drop by each playground and update some of the clues. I'll get on to it as soon as I can. Thanks for the heads up
Having worked through this one months ago and was fairly confident of my gz. However on my first attempt my gps was all over the place and wouldn't settle down and I ended up givving up. So for ages this cache sat unloved on my gps and for some reason I never bothered to attepmt this again. Today however I decided to swing past and give it another crack. Again, my gps refused to settle down so I didn't bother to hang around, i put my gps in my pocket and made mty way back out. I don't know what it is with cacheing, sometimes it's when you give up that you spot the cache and today was no exception for that. As soon as the gps was away, somthing plastic was spotted and the cache was in hand. It is still in very good condition, but if what previous finders have said are true about past waypoints it could be due for maintinace. It's a beautiful spot for a cache It would be sad to see this one go.

Please note, the rubber soft fall has recently been replaced, removing the hopscotch patterns. This will prevent anyone completing the initial coordinates. The puzzle will require updating/changing before this multi can be attempted, so cachers should give this one a miss for the time being until the CO can make the changes. Unfortunately I notice that the CO has not been online since 26 November 2015 so this cache might be out of action for a while.
After countless visits to all the parks with sir_spectre and jacknor with all the kids in tow.Revisit here and revisit there finally came up with plausible numbers. Got to 16mt and GPS didnt want to go further after a bit of a search the cache was found and stamped. Finally the closest multi to home has been founf. Thanks for the journey.

found with rod81w and jacknor. you ever tried to count swings/slides or really anything at all with kids not giving you the 30 secs you need? you end up getting the wrong figures, finally my name in the log, one less local mutli on the do to list.
After many visits to many playgrounds, which isn't on the preferred list of things to do for an over 40 year old male, I finally had some coordinates for the final. Today I was in the area and had time to stop and look. I was a bit worried at first with the rains that had happened recently and the amount of bank that had been eroded, but managed to find the cache high and dry. Thanks for the adventure. TFTC. 24/03/2016, 10:45 Find #1817
Woohoo! Loved this cache. Geokids and I had a great time. Came unstuck on the location of the 3rd playground and needed wikkid76 to point us to the right park. When there also had problems counting fireman poles. Eventually after 2 days and 6 playgrounds we found the holy grail.
Started this one a while ago on a Sunday afternoon and managed to get to the 3rd playground that day, although the coordinates weren't spot on. I continued working on it and thankfully discovered my error as I knew that any small change could result in a big one later on. We visited the rest when had we had the opportunity and got to the final playground on a Friday night after dark so weren't able to search GZ. We returned again a couple of times with no luck. An email to the CO confirmed we had the right location but we still came up empty handed. PeteWillOlly decided to have a crack and I helped him out with how to calculate the coordinates and earlier today I get a pic indicating he found it. I gleaned a few hints off him and set off later on with the kids and found it pretty quickly this time around. I must admit I spent too much time looking at my phone to make sure I was in the right spot rather than looking for things out of place, though it is hidden pretty well and definitely won't stand out to any muggles having a wander through. TFTC Team Stargazer.
Mr Tardis started this cache about five years ago. Then it was forgotten about, and every now and then remembered and yet another trip to another place to play.
Surprising where this one ended up being much closer to Tardis central that the starting co-ordinates.
I searched for a few minutes, then began to wonder whether I was in the right place, then expanding my search area a little and a great sized cache was found safely tucked away.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Team Stargazer.

After being unstuck at playground 4 a while back we were pleased to see this one become active again, being down this way with Mattycat, two cachers should mean less mistakes and double the eyes, we decided to have another go, no problems until we got to GZ, looks like the right spot looked high looked low found some slippery slidey mud, checked our numbers yep adds up right provided we counted right. Recheck a few suspect spots when Mattycat spies the very well hidden cache in a spot we had previously searched, a great multi and a great excuse for a playground crawl (not a pub crawl) for the kids well deserving of a fav point. Fantastic to see this old multi finally off the nemisis list TFTC Team Stargazer
Back again for another look at GZ with the Froghoppins.
Mud, slippery grass, log rolls,
just like another playground
Took a little while, but our persistence paid off
Nice to find a cache this old too.

Awesome log locus cache! Glad you found it and had lots of fun along the way
OMG!!!!
I had planned to come play with this cache tonight, after seeing that it had been refurbished by the CO!
Then I had a call from chrispy89 during the day, so I invited him along too.
Our run started much later than expected but still, I hadn't expected to have 144km on the clock and to be arriving home at 4.45am after doing ONE cache!
Poor chrispy had been up since 5am and then after I dropped him at his second residence at 4.30am, he had to drive back to his home on no sleep, so I'm glad that he managed the trip safely!
I must admit though, that we had fun! Even if it did get a tad cold after midnight!
I will say that I had the end coordinates prior to doing the hard yards on this cache and so we stopped off and found the cache and SL on the way to the start point, then returned to GZ last thing in the morning.
I'd previously, and unsuccessfully, looked for the cache at GZ for almost 1 and 1/2 hours one night, just prior to the event which was held at the first playground a few weeks ago.
I'd tried to contact the CO prior to the event too, figuring that many people would start working on this multi while they were there.
Don't think I've been to that many playgrounds in one day before and we missed one item at the first playground so it took us well over an hour of guessing, doing calculations and re searching and then more calculations before we could move to playground 2.
However once we understood the language that explained the maths that was required, the other calculatiosn were quite easy.
I used the calculator (after chrispy told me how )and read the cache description while chrispy wrote and read out the magic numbers.
Between us, we completed this great multi and now, if my grandsons have any more birthdays at that park.... I can smile and remember this impressive effort and cache!
Interestingly, while the online logs show that this cache hasn't been found since 31/07/2010, there were two names in the log book dated February 2011[?]

driving Adelaide, i decided i wanted to scratch that itch of not finding a cache for quite some time, i rang the first person who came into mind that wouldn't say no to going out caching tonight, and that we all know is locus
after killing my geoute again, and towing it down to Adelaide again, fighting with easier weekend traffic, (1 hour to get from cnr prospect rd and fitzrory tce, to Henley beach road. remind me why i hate city driving again!!!)
finally i get to get caching with locus, a couple of hours later then we had planned. but i was glad to get out from behind the wheel after sitting there for most off the day, off we set for the multi of a lifetime, yes we had the final point already, and yes we found the cache in a nice tucked up spot, which i will have to come back to during the day to have a better look at.
after making the find we had to make sure the puzzle worked so away we went to the first wpt1, after an hour of looking, teaching locus how to do maths on a calculator, trying wipe out my shin on a low beam, we worked out the calculations are made and on we went to find the rest in no time.
where were the playgrounds like some of these we went tonight when i was a young child?
did i mention that the wind did start to feel like daggers later in the night.
after locus Finally let me escape from her grasp, at 430am, i still had to drive home on no sleep to bet the easier traffic.
thank you Team Stargazer, this has been a fantastic multi that i wont forget for many reasons.
fav point has been rewarded for such a memorial night

At GZ the cache is dry and in good condition, ready to be found now ... Good Luck!

Right, I'm planning on doing a maintenance run this Sunday to check the cache and all the playgrounds. It's been quite some time since I last did a round on this cache and it sounds like a few clues need updating due to changes at some playgrounds (PG4 especially). Hope to have this cache back up and running again very soon
I've emailed the CO in case they are still getting emails but if anyone has contact details for them, it would be nice to get this multi sorted out prior to the event which will be held here in March.
This cache looks like a great multi but we are hesitant in starting it as it has not been found since 31st July 2010, the logs suggest it was unarchived after playground 1 was fixed but subsequent logs show cacher's have come unstuck at playground 4 and the playground has since been upgraded making it impossible to continue. With so much work in this multi it would be a shame for it to disappear but it looks like this cache is in need of a maintenance check of all the changes to the playgrounds and if the cache still exists as 4 and a half years have passed since the last finder. I hope the CO keeps this older one up and running but if this is not possible then maybe archiving to save cacher's the disappointment of hitting a dead end.
We have tried this cache a couple of times in our early years of caching while in the area for summer holidays.
We thought this would be a good one to find for our 2000th as we were in the area holidaying again.
Unfortunately after two hours driving around and examining playgrounds we came unstuck again, this time at playground four. The clues didn't seem to match and all the coordinate combinations we came up with didn't work.
After we had a look at Google street view it appeared that there was once another playground here.
A disappointing result but we will be back, maybe for number 3000!. Hopefully the cache will be updated as it is good to see some of these classic old caches still available.

Found it after my second attempt. Less foliage to look through this time. Dropped off a travel bug.
Unable to decipher coordinates for playground 5, as questions at 4 did not suit equipment. Later discovered the playground was demolished / replaced some time in 2010.
Look forward to completing if / when updated.

Thanks AWAKENED_LINK for the heads up. I'll try to check out the playground when I get the chance
Playground 4 was demolished and replaced in 2010. Current questions no longer apply. Unable to correctly work out next playground's coordinates
Couldn't find it, but the place was heaving with muggles so couldn't search too much
Spent this afternoon at playground one. All is fixed and looking fantastic. Special thanks to the fire brigade for their help with repairs and the addition of the new fire station and fire truck playground section.
This place was very popular today with family groups enjoying bbq's and picnics on a lovely sunny spring day.
This cache is now ready to go online and back in the game

I was told yesterday that the situation at the playground remains the same and work is still ongoing.
I'll be in the area tomorrow afternoon so hopefully I'll get the chance to stop by the playground and check things for myself and upload a new photo of any progress

I've just been down to Playground One to check on its status. Unfortunately they have fenced off and are still repairing the section of the playground that was damaged in the arson attack. I'll keep monitoring the situation and hope to have this cache enabled again as soon as repairs are compleat ... stay tuned
It would be great to get this one up and going again. For such an old cache, that even though it doesn't get visited often it's a great example of an early cache that actually makes you work for the cache and see some different places.
Paul, this is such a classic cache. Let's hope you can get it up again. Sing out if we can help in anyway. Clear skies!
Yeh, thanks a lot Ministro ...

As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
I have no choice but to temporarily disable this cache due to an Arsonists Attack on the wooden playground at Playground 1

Got to GZ this afternoon to find Team Waldron looking around. We spent around 10 minutes looking around, called the Hurtle Hotline for some extra assistance but it was still another 5 minutes before we found it. TFTC.

Found in the company of Team Waldron and Failsafe on a lovely Friday lunchtime. Nice hide in a lovely part of the world. TFTC.
Finally work out since two years ago.... We had a good fun. No swap. SL. Thanks Team Stargazer for organising the cache and hunt.
Accompanied with Everlasting. It took us ages to work out the answers. Everlasting found it before me.
Thanks Team Stargazer for the cache.

AT last, found after a litlle help from Pikapene. Couldn't addup and subtract. Nice scramble to the cache. TNLNSL. Thanks Team Stargazer for the cache and hunt. A merry xmas to you.
Logging this out of pure frustration! Our original print out is dated 1/02/2008 - only a couple of weeks after we first moved to Adelaide - so it's been a work-in-progress for a long time. Decided 3 weeks ago to have another go at completing it after the cache was replaced and instructions revised. After a number of trips out, doing 1 playground at a time, decided that today was the day so headed out early with geoson James to playground 5. And then to pg 6, but found a slight error in our calcs that had us a a playground just up the road. After sometime at the right playground had to call it a day as a gz wasn't making sense (in the middle of a house) and time running out. Yes, we will return.
Wasn't going to let this one get away. Between chores revisited the calculations to find we'd based gz on incorrect calculations for Playground 6. Once corrected the result looked a lot more feasible. Late in the day we again set off with high hopes. After a bit of a search, success! Cache appeared to be 5 or 6 m closer to the road than the gpsr said, which was just as well as we didn't want wet feet.
Even with the frustrations, this has been a great cache, one that a boring yellow smiley doesn't do justice to! Thanks for the experience Team Stargazer, and thanks for maintaining it a few weeks ago. It's a memorable cache.

Thanks FeatherWaite for your offer but I'm planning on replacing the cache myself later today (Sunday). Got the new cache container sitting here waiting.
Ok, there a new cache container and logbook at GZ and I managed to check 5/6 playgrounds today to make sure the questions were still up to date. I'll check the final playground next Sunday but I'm sure everything is now good to go! [^]
Started this many moons ago. Ended up at the right final location plus or minus a few too many metres to nail the exact spot. Never did find it back then, even after several attempts. Had a sudden renewed interest in crossing this nemesis off my list, so recalculated the clues and set out this morning determined for a find. Found it (or rather, what was left of it) after a bit of a search. Will log it here as a find, but have retrieved the remnants (a spray-painted camo, sandwich-sized plastic container without a lid) as there didn't seem to be much point leaving it out there. My old GZ coordinates were 20 metres out on the easterlies, but that was enough given the area! Thanks for the adventure Stargazer. Please contact me if you would like me to replace it???
Sorry, been out of the game for a while due to work & family commitments. I'll look into replacing the cache ASAP. I did stopped by Spot of Weather today for a check up.
We would like to finish this one but if it's not going to be maintained/replaced how about archiving it?
Well after 5 years and 3 attempts I thought i should find this and all i found was a mudo doll at GZ, It was confirmed by the frog that it had got missing , and no wonder nobody has logged anything for this cache for the last 2 years
Do I log as a find i now have the mudo doll.

Dropping off the batkey. Come play with batman - don't think so. Batgirls [?] - well they sound dangerous!!
clear skies, Astro.
Yay, that sorts out this weekends activity! I think it took an hour because I was going insane.[B)] Don't mention the split planks at the first location or the bloody poles at the second location. I'm afraid this cache is going to be done at night becuase that's when we've had the most success so far. Sunlight and seeing things clearly simply didn't help. Three years and still going ..is the end is sight?
Hahahaha You crack me up!!!!
On fun caches one should not try to over analyse things....
And moving at a legal pace (on 6 day old reconstructed knees) we managed to knock the entire cache over in about 1h45m...
Keep at it.... Glad someone has a cache that frustrates you like yours do us

Yes Mike. But as I remember one of us did all the driving and walking, while the other one sat in the car and did the calcs on the pocket PC
Success, with one person, driving, navigating and doing the calculations by hand. None of this wusy Pocket PC stuff.
And the last 4 playgrounds were at night with one half missing from one of them. Even with this we ended up 50m away from where we eventually found the cache. All up it was 14 hours and 7 attempts, of course starting from the eastern part of city each time didn't help.
And whatever stung/bit me at night near the final location didn't help, spider/scorpion/centipede.
However the quest was complete and this cache is no longer unloved. Interestingly the trees nearby had grown and the cammo took a bit of jiggling to get loose, another year and it might have been closed in for good!

I drove around and did a full check on all the playgrounds today. Your right Zytheran, PG4 is missing half it's equipment ... so I've now adjusted the questions to suit.
I also noticed that some of the planks on the suspension bridge in PG1 have split and this may/will also cause an incorrect answer, so I've changed the question there too (answer still gives the same value).
Everything else is fine and the cache is still safe and sound ... so go get it!!!

Sorry Zytheran, but what made you think it was just "a 1 hour cache" when it shows in the attributes "takes more then 1 hour"[?]

After our 4th attempt on the weekend and 3 hours to find the 3rd playground we set off tonight to find it on our 5th attempt for our 900th find. Things turned sour when we realised that playground 4 had been modified, removing an entire playground and all the blue tyres and maybe a few other things. Unfortunately we didn't have any relevant phone a friend numbers so that was an 80km round trip for not much gain.[B)]
Oh well, maybe on the 6th attempt?
That's about 8 hours spent so far on a 1 hour cache..

Started this one early this year, with the help of Wara Cub Pack. Good thing they got the answers at the first playground right....
Finally got the final location early on a misty morning. TNLNSL.

We started this one a couple of weeks ago. Took along the Geo Nephew to help us out with the locations. By the 4th playground, the 8 year old got bored because we hadn't actually 'found' anything. Trying to explain the concept of a multi didn't make any difference. Had the final coordinates a week ago, but it was dark and...well I'm scared of the dark, so it had to wait. With some time to kill today, I shot down to the calculated position. The GPS had me within a metre of GZ, so the old playground counting skills still worked OK. Thanx Astro for the spreadsheet, it made it a WHOLE lot easier. (I've modified it slightly if anyone needs it) Will be using this cache as the 'Kid Friendly' requirement for Fleet to Federation. TNLN SL

Started from scratch.
Took me about four hours to get to the final cache GZ.
Then spent almost two hours looking. Eventually gave up utterly frustrated and called a friend. Then spent more time looking. Gee, is this plastic box well hidden!
Thanks (I think), Team Stargazer.

We've been bitten by the 'Unlock the Mystery' bug, so we called in here on the way past one day to liberate the Key to the Door TB. It was only marginally easier to find today than the first time (though it was dark and wet this time!).
So, we took Key to the Door TB, and I think we left something, but I don't recall what....

And the winner is......Ferretters! (Cue fanfare!)
Oh my gosh, I can't believe we won, it's such an honour just to be here. We'd like to thank Team CGAFC for getting us started on this one, and Team Stargazer for checking our maths after the second attempt on the cache failed. Just wanna dedicate this award to my grandma, who always told me to listen to my heart and follow my dreams. And thanks to my manager, and my producer, and (cue music).....
May we never spend ANOTHER afternoon driving around playgrounds in the southern suburbs....

Was in the area, had a key - TB "Key to the Door" - what more could I do . Placed in the cache at 2100hrs. Now to find a spot in the hills to see Skyshow
After starting this hunt almost a year ago and several searches around the area of the cache I decided there was no ather way to work out where I had gone wrong than to start again from the beginning. So I did.
Got as far as playground 2 and finally found my mistake. It wasn't a very big one but enough to put me out by about 30m at GZ and in that area that's plenty For all those hoping 50m wont affect your result to much believe me, IT WILL!
Within a half hour of realising the mistake I had cache in hand and a big grin on the face Its great to finally succeed at this even if it did take so long and several hints from Stargazer!!!
Took the mini globe (because it felt like I've travelled at least that far since I started the hunt)
Left a car air freshener & a peeler
Thanks for all the headaches and a good hunt. It gave a fantastic sense of achievement when I finally had this cache in my hands[^], but no more playgrounds please[|)]

Took 8 hrs over 3 days to find this one, had to take a street map, laptop, calculator and teamed up with Team Cache Nerds to be able to find it
So happy have found it - would be totally frustrated if it took years rather than a week

Took Scary Spice (the mathematician) and went out hunting. Glad we had the GeoCompany Car and the GeoCompany Laptop. May have been a bit obvious hanging out in playgrounds without kids but being a big kid at heart it was all ok! Team Cache Nerd Dogs also enjoyed the adventure!!
Thanks Team Stargazer for your help and for placing a great cache (even if I did tear my hair out trying to find it!!)

After having a go at this one today with friends and their 19mth old, and ending up in the middle of a paddock, we gave up.
Just read the preamble and realised the abuse of basic maths rules.
Two of us agreed that AB = A x B, not some simplified made up rule for Geocaching.
Will try again later with this in mind
Great challenge

Waterlogged,
It's a pity you didn't read the preamble first like you should have done. Maybe then you wouldn't have ended up in the middle of a paddock.
"... abuse of basic maths rules"[?]
Hey, it's my cache ... you play by my rules.
Mawhahahahaha!!!

I guess this was TeamAstro’s nemesis cache. No more. Like all of those that had come before me, spreadsheets, scraps of paper, mobile phone calculators, kids in the car who were playgrounded out (not to mention me too) meant that this hunt, which for me started on Dec 7 2003 finally ended today. Almost 2 years. So don’t give up – ever.
Thanks to Teamstargazer for this cache – but please please no more playgrounds. Perhaps observatories?? .
I left a sprirt level and took the ruler.
