Found with the help of the CO. Such a difficult find, but very satisfying. Thanks for the cache!

I have visited GZ and the cache is still in place. A pair of tweezers or, better still, long nosed pliers will help retrieval.I have also modifed the calculations for GZ - it is just a couple of metres away from the previous finals. There is now a geochecker as well to verify your results.

Out and about on a caching day with Posums saw us in the posher part of town! Nice to finish this one off. Posums came up trumps with the cache. Cheers

Today I planned to walkover to Herring Island for an event (not an easy task walking on water you might say) and I mentioned it to my caching buddy GemmaSistema. So a planned was hatched to catch up and do some caching before hand.I picked her up at a station and soon the day of fun and laughs started.Caches were mainly picked by if there was parking close by and also how much walking was involved. This side of town is very different to the one where I live as there is some very impressive houses around.Quiet little lanes and roads and Im guessing it wouldnt be too busy around here.Checked a few spots out until I noticed something. Thanks Muzza TFTC.

Nice stroll on a sunny Sunday to collect the clues for GZ, where I reverted to the hint to focus my search efforts. It didnt take long.

FINALLY! N has been here a few times now scouring over the area, and was sure the hide spot had been checked over more than once!!Another day ticked off our Finds By Found Date calendar...50 more to go...Thanks for the adventure and the cache Muzza.

Out to caching in this area with OHC and GT37. Muzza, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.

21-Jan-24
OHC had done what was needed and made the find whilst Pwala and I visited the awesome bakery right beside where we parked. Thanks for the cache and bringing us to this location. . . . . delicious.

21-Jan-24
A day out with Geoturtle37 and pwala, caching the burbs.Did all the pre-work required. Finished gathering all the required info in situ. Did the calcs. Made our way to gz, where I spotted the sneaky hide while the others devoured their bakery goodness. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Muzza ~~

I'm not much of a poet, I can certainly write well and easily but I used to know someone who could come up with poems instantly. Not that it would have assisted much here but this seemed to me like a combination of an unknown and a multi in one. I needed a nudge or two along the way from the CO and a confirmation of a hunch, which turned out to be wrong anyway even after I had searched an area for the cache. After correcting an error in my final coordinates, the final location looked promising but my first two searches yielded nothing and I may have even lost a house key around GZ in the process. Searching for two items now instead of the one, with the latter never found, a spot I must have overlooked or not seen altogether appeared. Had some trouble getting my fingers into it and a twig did the job and then the cache was finally in hand. Certainly well hidden! Reminds me of the final hide of another multi by a different CO.I think I may have put the 27/12 on the log as the date found, which was meant to be the 28th. Thanks again Muzza.

22-Dec-23
A tricky one indeed. After two searches at ground zero now, I'm yet to leave with a find but now have an additional nudge from the CO so I shall return soon.

07-Oct-23
Figured out the location of GZ over a period of time using all the available data that could gather on numerous trips enroute to home. With Mrs Riddells on a holiday out of the country I had a window of opportunity to go forth and get this while I was kind of "down this way"... Well it was only a few more k's down the road, but what the heck. Took a moment to realize I was looking in the wrong place and a nudge from the hint soon fixed that.Neat little hide. Now to get home before it gets too dark and the kangaroos come out to graze on the grass by the side of the road on the home stretch. TFTC and the tour of the back streets of Elwood.PS. Helps if you push send and "not save for later"

Temporarily living in the broad vicinity of this cache, I thought I would give it a try. I did my research before setting out on foot for pleasant but rather long stroll. Found all the answers I needed except Location 5... perhaps I had the wrong poet/street. Anyway, it didn't matter too much as I made a couple of guesses and came up with only one sensible location. Going there and checking it out revealed a very cleverly hidden cache.

Thanks **muzza** for this interesting Multi.

Find 22 of 26 along with 5 DNFs on a 40km bike ride from the CBD to Docklands, Port Melbourne, St Kilda and Elsternwick before mixing it with rush hour traffic back to the CBD.

Another tricky find after adding to the armchaired info with a couple of locations that needed to be scoped out locally. Co-ords looked good so we carried on down via Paul Hester walk, which as long time Crowded House fans (30+ years) was especially meaningful to us. Like most people, we spent a while deciphering the useful hint and after checking just about every possible spot, found the cache in the last one. This would be hard without the hint.

TFTC Muzza!

**Big GrinWat is het leven toch mooi Big Grin**

We have a roadtrip through Australia and we also did some geocaching. We have been to very beautiful places that we would not have seen without geocaching.

Very high on our wish list was the BGT and we successfully visited all of them. We thought Ballarat was a great and beautiful place, with a lot of history and a lot of geocaches.

We often log with our initals TGM (Team_Geo-Meijer)

Greetings from the Netherlands.

After we brought our campervan back to the company, we stayed a few days in Elwood. There we did also this old multi. At GZ we couldn't found the cache, but after a hint from the co, we managed to find it a day after.

Muzza hartelijk dank voor het leggen en onderhouden van deze cache.

Groetjes,
Team Geo Meijer (TGM)

Thanks Muzza for the poetic cache. I started this one about 2 years ago. I came across my notes yesterday.
Had a reason to go close to the last WPs so checked them out. Had to reach out to CO to one point but eventually got a good set of coordinates.
Today a short drive before work -GZ probably quieter in a Monday. a check of the area soon found the excellent hide. The time to do all the checks at WPs should increase the difficulty of this cache but it’s a great lasting cache that is 19 years old. The theme is brilliant. Fav from me

Oh Muzza! What a brilliant poetic adventure! Loved cycling through the streets of Elwood, really appreciated your help when I couldn’t see what was at my feet! It also took a couple of goes to find a quiet time at GZ. This morning the parked truck & trailer provided the cover to search with confidence. Previous logs ensured we knew it was a clever hide. Definitely didn’t disappoint, + fav ️

Whittlesea Mega trip Day 1.
Today I am heading to Whittlesea for the Mega grabbing some caches along. I pick up 6 today.
Thank you for the cache.

Day 2
Today I caching with The Green Geckos and Muggle65 we had lots of fun.
My total finds count was 28 cache with 4 waypoints. The breakdown is 10 mystery, 5 traditional, 2 letterbox, 2 virtual, earthcache, 2 multi, and 4 adventure labs waypoints.
Today I completed a traditional loop and my 11 loop. Yippee
Thank you CO for the placement and maintenance you do. Lot of these caches help me finishing other challenges.

Day 3,
Melbourne today with a few old virtual and challenge caches as target.
The Green Geckos and Muggle65 join me again today for lots of laughter and caching.
I found 23 today.

Day 4,
Mega day today. In morning with The Green Geckos and Muggle65 and I hit the challenge series. With 27 finds and a DNF. But of course 17 I don’t qualify for 17 Plus about 40 waypoints from different Adventure labs.
Over all I got 68 finds today. The breakdown was the Mega, Community Celebration, Cito, Letterbox, 2 multi, 2 virtual, 2 earthcache, 9 traditional and 10 mystery.

I had lots of fun today.

Sorry for the generic log
Thanks Brislions

I took a virtual wander of the neighborhood this morning, and a physical wander to pick up the last two numbers I couldn't get otherwise. Glad I persisted in this search, and glad for spot-on coordinates, nice hide! 1 for 2 with my searching today, still disappointed that puzzle2 stayed hidden for me. Since I started late today, maybe I'll save the other 4 "nearby" puzzles that I solved for another day, because their find rates don't make me very confident right now! TFTC from Tennessee, USA

I used to know this area really well: my first boyfriend lived in Ruskin Street, not far away.

I took the easy option for much of this: google was my friend indeed, with maps saving time. There were a couple of locational I needed to check in person, so I parked and was able to get all I needed for the final numbers.

Sneaky hide! I poked and poked, and finally noticed something out of place. Thanks for adventure

We had found most to the information a few weeks today although the last piece required proved elusive. We eventually came up with a reasonable location and today we are back to look for the cache. There were a few people sitting in the grassy area nearby but fortunately we were out of site while we searched. After checking a few locations we finally spotted something which led to the cache. We probably looked a little suspicious searching at GZ but all was good in the end. Thanks to muzza for this poetical challenge.

01-Dec-20
Dropped my wifes car off at the dealership for a service today and so I had a spare hour to do some caches in an area I don't normally go geocaching. Nice to stretch the legs a bit.

I solved this one sometime ago. Mostly through google street view and some educated guessing and I had a few potential sets of co-ordinates. Some more google street view and I narrowed it down to one set of co-ordinates, which is where I found the cache today.

The final hide had me going for a bit, but eventually I found the right hidy hole and retrieved the cache. TFTC!

TFTC! Great history lessons of the poets. Thanks for getting us out. Solved over a number of trips. This last time realised I couldn’t find anything that I previously done! Enjoyed the walk out all the same! Found all 6 clues! Waypoint 5 is defiantly there Smile

21-Sep-20
I really enjoyed riding my bike around Elwood and finding the waypoints for this multi. Each waypoint was found with a little thought and effort. The cache hide at GZ was brilliant. Really enjoyed it, thank you for the effort you went to to create it

Out for a lovely, social distanced day of caching with GeoHorse23. We found the waypoints for this cache a while back but never got a chance to grab the cache. After searching and searching I finally spotted a small glimmer of reflected light and low and behold it was the cache. Awesome hide. TFTC

06-Apr-20
I'd tried multiple times to find the coordinates for this geocache, but every time , locations 5 and 6 had eluded me. However, something I spotted on the bike path on the way to the first waypoint told me exactly what I needed at location 5, while location 6 was solved with a bit of help from Google. So today, we finally made it to GZ. kingdkingd made the find on this one. Incredibly well-hidden. At long last, I can cross this one off my list. TFTC

I did my homework for this multi a few nights back and put it back on the shelf for another time.
Today on my walk south for another wp, i noticed i was passing some poetic streets, and remembered this multi.
So off i went researching various landmarks and coordinating what i could..
Wp5 eluded me like it did most people it seems.. and with the rain starting to get heavier i gave up for home after the first real search along both lengths..
That is of course until muzza came to the rescue with his electric chariot, and so it wasn't long before we had beelined to wp5 to revel in my folly.
Some small calculations to the gz, and we were off to another random spot where the cache was quickly found, autographed and rehid.
Thanks muzza for another great super old multi cache that was thoroughly enjoyable to solve and finally uncover.
Please, take my favourite points!
This is also my 100th multi cache! Woohoo!!

After finishing work in the city for the day, I thought I would leave early and collect a number of geocaches on the way home. Way home as in completely out of the way to continue collecting puzzles and clues of Muzza geocaches, a personal challenge I am working on.

I was unable to find the clue for 5, but was still able to determine some likely looking coordinates. Got to the GZ, and the hint matched the area. It was still a tricky hide but with the help from the hint, it was eventually found.

Thanks for the cache Muzza

Out with xambo4u, we returned to this one, as it was dark last time we came to search.
Armed with more information, we gave it a thorough look and found the most beautifully hidden cache. A favourite point, thanks Muzza

This has been a very long time journey. I picked these clues YEARS ago and now finally got to put to rest. Out and about with echidna44 we made the search with additional clues in hand. Looked in the wrong ..... to start with then bingo it made sense. Excellent hide. Cache in excellent condition. It gets a favourite from me. thanks Muzza

I'm pretty certain that this cache takes the prize for My Longest-Standing Work In Progress. I started it as a complete n00b in late 2015, back when I wasn't driving, instead incorporating geocaching into very long walks around the suburbs. However a waypoint or two lay in an inconvenient direction that day so I suspended proceedings. I think I came through on another long-ago day (in a motor vehicle!) to inspect what must have been Location 5, which was quite interesting, but time was not on my side that day.

I certainly didn't plan to resolve the matter today. Geocaching has become a very occasional and opportunistic thing, but I was uncharacteristically nearby. I only realised when I arrived at my calculated GZ that the cache had been moved since I cobbled together the numbers. Logs suggested it undertook a fairly modest excursion though, so I persisted. The location showed potential, but lack of confidence in my barely remembered calculations had me searching erratically. Happily, a third pass revealed that I'd been standing right next to the sneaky cache upon arrival.

Thanks once more Muzza! Nice idea for a cache. It's admittedly even nicer that that little bit of my brain that's been forever wondering how this one ends can be reallocated to a new task! Smile

I did my homework, and then did more homework on street view. It didn’t help me that much. Eventually I had some Coords, and at first I assumed they were wrong, until I read the hint! Thanks so much for placing this multi muzza

17-Jun-18
Most of the people I cache with have done this cache a long time ago so I have been past a number of times. Today I had the chance to do the cache by myself. I did a lot of preparation with virtual street views. At Gz I looked for a while and then rechecked the clue. After a careful search I found a sign and the cache. Very well constructed cache all round. Thanks Muzza

Find number 6580 at 11:06:35 am
Arrived at the starting coordinates and read the cache page, oh shoot, this was a great start, thankfully my friend Google was on my phone Smile
Now that I know what I really needed to do I set about working out the locations I needed to visit and off I went gathering clues as I went until I finally had a solution and final location. I arrived at the secluded GZ and thankfully the clue minimized the possible places to search. I had the prize in hand reasonably quickly.
Thanks for the adventure and a favorite from me.
**Thanks for placing this cache Muzza**

I once worked for a bloke who still lives in Southey St. When they landscaped his property in C.1983 we would deliver large rocks on our tilt tray trucks. These were dropped on his nature strip. The digger operator was meant to build a waterfall feature in the far corner of his backyard **before** digging the hole for the swimming pool. Alas, not everyone is adept at following instructions. Steven came home to find the rocks still on the wrong side of the hole. An attempt to *crane* them across failed when the 120 tonne crane started to tip during the first lift. Eventually a pair of beams were layed across the hole and a forklift moved the rocks into place. It was quite a saga but perseverance paid off then, as it did now.
Thanks for returning me to an area that holds many fond memories for me muzza.
Found with +Wife.

We searched for a while in the fading daylight. Decided to take another drive and check a couple of our numbers. When we returned n0w0rries found the cache soon after.
Thanks for the cache muzza.

Was checking through our stats and noticed we had 18 multi's for the month, they were a focus for a challenge cache, but then realise with only another 10 we could also complete the multi month challenge, so the aim was 10 more for Feb, due to a variety of reasons those 10 had to be packed into the last day of the month, so off I went. This one caused me some grieve, started to look at GZ but couldn't see anything obvious, then read the CO's note that the calculations had being changed, oops panic I solved this a while ago, and didn't have any of the numbers required, so checked the hint, and it sounded like I was still in the right area, and sure enough the tricky little hide was soon spotted.. TFTC

Did this on foot in the afternoon. Did not expect it to be so long, but the streets and gardens are lovely here. I could not believe where I ended up, thought I must have got the coordinates wrong somehow, but surprise surprise, there was the cache

That took me and my friend ages but so glad to find it. A great cache Muzza!

New cache is in place with slight change of co-ordinates. Final formula has been modified.

I walked past GZ today and noticed that the area has been rearranged. The cache appears to have gone, so I will need to replace.

Out in the area getting a few multis for the multi challenge. I enjoyed this a lot, google helped me earlier today so I knew where to go for each location. I came up with some good looking numbers and headed to GZ., but was a bit nervous about finding this after reading some of the logs. When I arrived there were five loud guys leaving a house right at GZ so I just looked at my phone and waited them out. Once I had the place to myself I began looking, the coords were spot on and I found it in no time, thanks Muzza!

A nice easy find, and no pole dancing happening...thankfully
Many thanks Muzza from the Wacky one Cool

03-Jan-17
A great little multi. After the short tour we arrived at GZ to what we thought was a deserted apart from some loudish music coming out of a house. Not being deterred by music, we poked around to find the prize. It was tempting to do a pole dance to that music but we restrained ourselves. [:o)]

Thanks to Muzza and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

After walking to all the waypoints and arriving at GZ, it was super frustrating not to find. I assume, based on previous logs, that it has fallen in again.

The bananas live in a bit of a time warp. We tried to do this to help resolve a puzzle that we had been working on.
We remember this treasure asking us to do so.

While attending the World Tree Climbing Championship practice day we had slipped away and found some other relevant information. But that was a while back.
Times changes
As discovered today.
With pen in hand and opening the honour roll a look of disbelief revealed that the damp record, well, recorded no additional information.

Extensive programming had resolved the solutions down to the 33 most likely locations but short of trying every possibility we will wait until the World Champions return before we will aim to reduce our number of combinations.

So does anyone have any climbing gear?

After finding but not being able to retrieve the cache last week I returned today to find it fixed yay! this was a fun one I really loved the journey on this multi! TFTC Smile

27-Oct-16
Muzza you've bested me again.
Solved all the clues but spent an hour at GZ to no avail.
Truth been told I kinda suck at this thing :/

27-Oct-16
I was there only yesterday checking it out for someone else who found it but couldn't extract it. I managed to get it out and replace it in a way that should present no trouble extracting or replacing.

03-Jul-16
We finally got around to finding this one after the CO was nice enough to point us in the correct direction after our DNF. Several times over the last couple of weeks I have driven by to check this one out again only to find GZ full of builder muggles from the building being renovated close by. Today we tried again, and being Sunday we though we would have GZ to ourselves. But who would have thought, the builders and their cars were parked right at GZ again, on a SUNDAY. So after a drive up the Hume Hwy to find **Melbourne's 1st** ([GC7A](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC7A_melbournes-1st)), on the way back after dark we stopped by again and thankfully we had the place to ourselves. With torch in hand the geofamily and I quickly located the right spot to look and with quite a bit a persuasion, the cache popped out. Yaeeeeeeee. Log signed and replaced. Another DNF conquered.
Thanks for the cache and your help Muzza.

05-Jun-16
Worked my way through the puzzle and came up with some good coordinate several weeks ago and finally had a chance today to search GZ. Despite a 20 minute search all around GZ, ignoring the stump, and looking in every conceivable hole, we came up empty handed. Even matching up the nice photo on the gallery didn't help. Although it help to reassure us that we were in the correct spot.
We will have to try again another day. Maybe Muzza will feel sorry for us and give us a little hint.

22-Mar-16
Cache was there all the time, but had slipped from its proper location. Now added some wire to help it remain in place.

21-Mar-16
It appears that the cache has gone, or is suffering from cache creep. A quick check today looks like the hiding object may have been replaced. Need more time for a better check.

26-Dec-15
During our holidays spent in Australia we decided to look for some caches in Melbourne as we love it there Smile This cache was a tough one - at first it was rather mystery than Multicache ... and then we were searching it for ages, then we desperately used the hint and found it in a very difficult hideout. Greetings from Czech Republic. TFTC! Greetings from Czech Republic. TFTC!

Given the quality of the Around the Pond multi I thought I might try to replicate the experience with Muzza's other local (to me) multi. So, after some research online as well as a little bit of cheating by using Google Maps I headed out this afternoon to collect the clues that couldn't be found online.

Given that I'd lived in the area quite recently and walked a number of these streets I was a little nonplussed to have had to walk up and down Location 5 a couple of times searching out the tiled phrase but after my second pass, things snapped into focus.

GZ took a few minutes and I thank the immediate previous finder for the mention of holes, otherwise I would've spent a lot more time searching that very notable tree stump? chunk? at GZ.

Thanks for the cache Muzza; as always spot on with the co-ords. If only everyone else placed the same importance on their accuracy there would be no 'drunken bee' dance.

SL and visited a couple of personal TBs. BTW, the log sheets are getting a little tatty....

12-Nov-15
Found It!
I found all but one of the clues without any problems - location 5 almost had me stumped but after visiting all the 'ends' I noticed the required tiles. Then onto GZ and after quite a bit of searching I finally spotted the well hidden cache. And this is when things went wrong...
After signing the log I dropped the cache back into it's hiding spot from the top. What I didn't realise was that there was a large empty cavity inside which the cache then disappeared into. So I had lost the cache somewhere inside. After several minutes with a screwdriver and pair of pliers I managed to poke the cache to the point where it dropped out the bottom (I did have to cut the hole a bit larger to get the screwdriver in). I then replaced the cache from the bottom and moved on...

So folks, make sure you replace the cache via the bottom hole and not the top hole!!!

Collected the clues a while back. Got to the final co-ords today. After a good look around, the hint for this one could only mean one thing. With the help of Farles75 the cache was found.

02-Nov-15
This multi was a lot of fun to solve. Found all the waypoints some time ago, but ran out of time that day prior to finding the cache. Returned to ground zero today and found the cache after following the clue literally with the help of swebber99 - need a bit of strength to retrieve this cache. Thanks for the cache Muzza

11-Jul-15
Out and about today with Jamin Appleford grabbing as many puzzles as we could before the rain really kicked in. Overall a fantastic day with a fair chunk completed!

If we didn't have smartphones this would be one very tough multi. A really cool concept and exploring a different theme with a bit of suburban mazework. The hide itself was certainly a tricky one - almost thought must have had coords wrong. Thanks for another brilliant cache Muzza

11-Jul-15
With the weather forecast getting worse day by day Jacko83 decided to put off riding around Woodlands and plan something by car instead. We came up with plan for picking off Melbourne puzzles and challenge caches, with the odd teas and multi here and there. Setting out at 530am with a list and a route we made our way from Kew, to Surrey Hills, to the botanic gardens, and across to Albert Park, then down through St Kilda and Elwood before finishing further south in Sandringham. Yep it was a big day out and an enjoyable one as well.
The puzzles were great, the hides interesting, and the challenges worthy .

Thanks to all the COs for their efforts!

We took a slight detour from chasing puzzles today to score this multi. It was great to drive down my old street a couple over (spray st), I loved living in Elwood.
Cache took a bit to locate in the rain today, great placement effort here! Very clever!

This one started on Monday evening doing my research before a big walking day on Tuesday. Thoroughly enjoyed wandering around an unknown area and I even got a bit sunburnt! No issues locating any of the clues so it was a quick substitution to get the coords for GZ. I was fast losing light so I jumped in the car to head there and thought 'gee this might be a quick find' even though I really didn't get the hint. I blame my poor thinking on potential heat-stroke (surely that's a possibility even in the middle of winter???). Returned home a bit dejected after such an enjoyable adventure thus far.

Solved some more puzzles in preparation for another find day on Thursday and had a good look through the logs on this one for inspiration. The clue finally made sense while I was cleaning the bathroom!

Drove up closer to GZ this time and spotted the cache immediately as it was a little out in the open. Quickly signed the log and got the clue for PM#2 before returning cache out of sight. Amazing that this has been in place for so long without much tweaking required. A fantastic multi Muzza that gets a favourite point.

We have to say that we always enjoy a muzza cache and this multi was no exception, what a unique way to set one up using the themed street names. Of coarse we didn't do our homework first so all the research was done in the field but lucky for smartphones it wasn't an issue.
Collected all our info except location 5 which had us bamboozled so we just played with that number until a viable GZ showed itself to us and then the clever hide was found.
Thanks muzza for an awesome tour around Poets Corner, a favourite going your way for the experience.

I need my eyes tested. I could not find the clue for location 5 despite driving in circles several times. Given the recent logs it seems others found it OK. So it was down to trial and error and here I made another silly mistake. How many numbers are there between 1 and 9. That part is obvious but something else very clearly (in hindsight!) was missed. Despite the completion of an engineering degree it seems numbers aren't my thing. More like paying attention isn't my thing - see second sentence. And, no, it wasn't an online degree. So the trial and error option gave me just a couple of likely locations which was good but on the ground something was still not right. Fortunately there was only about 200m between the different coordinate options so I started punching numbers in. On the last option - lightbulb. What a doofus, drove around the corner to a very likely location and soon the cache was in hand.
I competed this cache to get the clues for Puzzlemania #2 but still had a lot of fun on the streets of Elwood learning about poems and poets. I'm often around here anyway but for other reasons, gee that sounds dodgy, so it was good to see the same stomping ground in a different light. Thanks Muzza.

Did this one at night, which made finding the GZ a bit tricky. But with a flashlight we both managed okay. Ginger made the find mostly by poking around. All in good order. TFTC! -Sam

Couldn't find it today as we could t find the the cache!! There were cars on the street (must have been a get together or something) so couldn't find the right one (if you know what I mean).

Suscoe's 6th find of 28 for today as we worked our way around some of the bayside suburbs.
Today was a delightful day with a gentle breeze and filtered Spring time sun.
We spent a bit of time checking some of this from a remote location and then today we sorted out the finer points as we visited the various waypoints needed.
With the co-ords sorted we headed to GZ and the cache was soon located.
Thanks to muzza for connecting us with some literature that we hadn't read for many years.
A nice multi which we enjoyed.
Thanks for the effort and a favourite from us.

This was another cache that was tricky to get. Not because of its hiding spot but because of Muggles constantly being around. On my first visit I approached the cache from the grassy area. As I turned the corner to where GZ was, there was a man relieving himself onto the first place I was going to search. Seeing that, I just kept moving on as I wasn’t going to tackle a wet GZ.

The next visit I approached GZ in the car. There was an elderly woman sitting on the park bench on other side with sunnies on. Even though she was directly opposite facing towards me, I thought it was far enough away to give the search a go. As I got out of the car to begin the task, another young man appeared from nowhere, and decided to sit directly next to GZ to enjoy the sunshine. With him frequently turning around to see what I was up to, I decided there was no point starting the search and moved on again. I did wonder whether he was another cacher but there have been no recent logs.

Anyway this morning after successfully finding Puzzlemania 13, I tried this one again and hooray there was nobody about. After searching one spot I tried another and there it was. Thanks Muzza for another entertaining cache.

I'd done all the research for this and loaded all the waypoints so I could get all the info without too much trouble. With the sums all done I made my way to gz and after waiting for a dog walking muggle to move on, I used the hint to make the find. I'm not sure I would have looked there without it.
Thanks muzza for the cache. And the drive around these nice quiet streets.

Find #451

After doing half day at work, I was wondering how to spend such a great arvo. So I threw the bike onto the back of the geovehicle and made my way to Elwood. Rode around collecting the clues for this one and also another multi starting in the botanical gardens in St Kilda. Back and forth a couple of times but in the end found all clues required and after needing to get another hint on the hint from a previous finder I made the surprising find. Clever! Favourite for baffling me for a great arvo outing and final hide.

Find #30

Another fun Muzza multi in our local vicinity. Hot day and GeoBaby was restless so we drove instead of using the bikes this morning. All info was easily collected in these familiar streets. On to GZ and a bit of triangulating with satellite maps to make sure we were in the right spot. Poked around a bit with a stick and there it was. Great hide and great hint. Thanks Muzza!

Should have everything needed for Puzzlemania #2 now.

Someone flagged this as requiring maintenance, simply because it had too many waypoints.

Drove around and got the clues. Little time working our the roll and found the cache! TFTC

In the area doing some freestyle caching after climbing a tree nearby. I pre worked out a lot of the information beforehand then drove quickly to each waypoint to double check the details and to gather clues I couldn't work out without being there.
Got to GZ and wondered if we had the correct location but after checking the clue and getting a little bit scared by a lizard inside one of the logs. Checked the clue and after a minute or so there it was very firmly hiding in it's hiding hole. TFTC Muzza, an excellent multi. I even remembered to take a photo of the required clues.

Found with biaina 2.

Awesome!! Found it with Biaina 1. We went there expecting it to be really difficult. Biaina 1 started to look around everywhere and I just sat down, looked around and thought about where it could be and then it sort of hit me and I found it Smile Really great hide! Thank you very much muzza for this awesome cache!!

After having attempted this previously with pantherX and having no luck, PantherX emailed the CO for some timely advice. This clue certainly helped as we knew gz like the back of our hands as we had spent sometime hunting last time. The cache was quite sneaky due the bulid up of earthy materials

Find 789 at 17:17. Today I was out with Burge at the Geo Comp event and we decided to pick up a few caches on the way back. This was find number 4 on this run. All up, we had a great day!

Having recently moved into the area I've been working on this cache for a little while. I had gathered all the clues quite some time ago but previous attempts to locate the hide have been unsuccessful - it's a very clever hiding spot! Coming back during the day, with an additional hint from the CO, and we were able to find what we were looking for. I'm impressed with this hide and only managed to spot it out of the corner of my eye amongst the mud (the cache is perfectly dry though). It's good to finally cross this one off the map, and get the much needed Puzzlemania clue.

Thanks for the cache, muzza! It's got a favourite point from me.

I was out caching with Burge tonight. This was one of only a couple of DNFs for the evening. I had solved all the clues over the past couple of days, but after a bit of searching around GZ, we couldn't find the cache. I might have to revisit this one during daylight hours.

Well I got there eventually.
A month or so ago I cruised around Elwood collecting information before heading to my favourite local cafe for breakfast and some hair of the dog. I must have made an error in my calculations because the coordinates I searched just didn't feel right as GZ.
Cut to a few weeks later and TwoDrews and I were riding through tying up some loose ends. I tried to recalculate the GZ coords on the fly as my answers were on some long discarded receipt. I got close but was sidetracked by a nearby structure. My expanded search almost made it.
A message to CO confirmed my second stuff up of the coords but encouraged me that I was indeed close.
Jump forward to today and I knew where and what I had to do. The hint became obvious finally and the cache was in hand. I had to laugh when I saw twodrews name in the log with a 'lol' that I just knew was aimed at my dyslexia.
Thanks to muzza for this great multi. A good exploration through one of my favourite suburbs.

While on a caching run a few days previously with GazaC we stopped by the GZ area to have a look around with a rough set of coords he'd worked out but had no success.

But my interest in this cache was piqued, and a couple of days later I had some time to kill after work so I drove around and collected all the clues and the sneaky hide was quickly found using the prescribed manoeuvre.

Thanks for a well set up multi muzza. I had fun finding it (and leaving a mark on the log before GazaC!). It's a shame more people don't do multi's because I find they are usually more fun and rewarding than most of the trads out there. I'm going to give this a favorite and a 4/5 score.

A bit of an explorative multi, I'd tried to get the right answers years ago but I couldn't put it all together. I approached GZ and found that the garden had been stripped back and the logs/fence had been pulled aside to make way for a big earthmover to get to the creek.

I was a bit worried that the cache had been detected or removed, there was no mentions from the previous finders (Jim+Josie) of the landscaping so it must have begun within the past 6mths. No mention from Angry Ando Jr as I doubt they visited the cache spot, they didn't sign the log. So I had to figure it out for myself!

I was happy to discover the hiding spot and the cache still inside. The area has been disturbed and may be disturbed further when the landscaping work has been finished, muzza you may like to check back every now and then to see what changes. I can send you some photos if you'd like Smile

drjim7 beavered away at this for most of this this afternoon but we had to get a couple of clues in the field. Hence I was very happy making a contribution with the quick find at GZ. Which was lucky because we had our tired grumpy children in the car and things could have turned feral had it taken too long. We had been in Elwood for our nephew's 21st. I've always loved this area and was glad to do this cache.

OOPS! Just realised that I have come home without getting the puzzlemania clue - oh well I'll go back to the area soon enough.
I really enjoyed working on this today, but JosieY did the final find. I got one waypoint on the way to my nephew's 21st but forgot to write the digits down. Hence I was a bit anxious at GZ that I may have it all wrong. Josie's find saved the night. Saw a good caching pal has signed the log but is yet to add his name here. Maybe he will send me the puzzlemania clue...
Having found the cache I want to go back and have a leisurely read of some of the poems.

Found in the company of lochb on a day completing as many long multis and finding any solved mysteries in the area.
So the night before, I did a little homework, and obtained the approximate coordinates for the corners we'd needed to be at for each of the individual waypoints. Which helped make the process of finding the numbers quicker.
However we got stuck when we were unable to find one of the clues and then proceeded to guess what the other number could be one at a time. Which made it pretty slow, but there are only 10 possible numbers right...
In the end, we found the cache with some owner assistance.

We were then forced a strategic cache planning session over ANZAC bikkies and tea when lochb's car wouldn't turn over with its flat battery and then frustration when they made us wait some 80 minutes of precious geocaching time [:(!]..

Thanks muzza for this cache, it was a nice area to break down in, it could have been a lot worse in a different area.

Found in the company of PrincessDiala on a day when we tackled as many multis and puzzles as possible. We somehow could not find the answer at one of the waypoints (but the cache owner confirmed it's still there), which meant we were missing the first decimal place for the southern coordinate. We tried the highest, then everything down to the lowest - and finally reached a location that looked suitable to hold a geocache. We still couldn't find it - but a quick call to the owner confirmed we were in the right spot and just hadn't applied the hint yet! Smile A quick find after that.

I then tried to start the engine ... and nothing, just strange clicking noises and lots of lights flashing on the dashboard. Tried again, same outcome. Called the RACV, told them it was probably the battery - and the guy appeared after 20 minutes, without a battery. He confirmed it was indeed the battery. He then called for a battery - which arrived after 40 minutes (!) with the next guy, and only after I'd called the first guy again and left a message and called the central number again. All good in the end - this break gave us the focus we needed to approach the next multis. But 80 minutes to get a new battery, in a Melbourne suburb, with the RACV base only 15 minutes away? "A communication breakdown", as guy number 2 called it. Hum.

TFTC and for your help on the phone, muzza!

I hit the road tonight with Marshy on our usual Monday night cache run. Trailrunning, who is part of The Demolition Crew was not able to come out this night so it was just myself and Marshy. We had a heap of puzzles solved and multis GZ coords to go to so our plan was to get as many of those during the night, as well as any other cache along the way. We had a great run with about 40 caches netted for the night.
This was just one of many multis we had to complete for the night. With the information required to find GZ collected over a period of time we headed straight to GZ. A quick search and some fancy leg work and soon the cache was found. Thanks for the hide.

13-Apr-12
One of about 40 finds on another installment in the legendary night caching runs of "The Demolition Crew" aka me, Quasar3671 and Trailrunning. Tonight we were minus Trailrunning, so it was just Marty and I. It was a clean up night for multi's and mystery caches. We have worked on so many over the previous months, tonight was the final chapter for them, time to collect so to speak. So we did.

Another one we had in a holding pattern until tonight. Marty did most of the work on this one, with some info coming from TR as well. The final collect required some leg strength, and the well hidden cache was retrieved. TFTC and something a bit different.

Found by Facitman at 6:10
This was another one of my works-in-progress. It has been 18 months since we logged a DNF on this cache and many years since I first had a bit of a look at the clues. Like a few other classic caches in Melbourne this has regularly appeared on my to do map but has remained unfound. Today was the day to close the chapter so after dropping s-facit at a very early training session on Albert Park lake I headed a bit south on my way home and pulled in at GZ for a short torch lit search and find. As I suspected would occur when I wrote my DNF in 2010 I tried very hard to kick myself as the find was straight forward. I'm trying to convince myself that landscaping caused me issues last time!
This cache also filled in another blank day on my Geocaching Calendar. 148 days to go.
Thanks Muzza, always satisfying to complete a well constructed multi.

Enjoyable hunt from start to finish.
Did the hard yards on the weekend and went back to find the hide on Tuesday evening.

Being a hot day and having slept in a bit I was keen to find some easy caches. I started this one at home and obtained all but two pieces of information, so I visited the other two in person. The first was easy, the second I was in the right place but blind so I had to make a circuit before I spotted what I was after. GZ was spot on, no problem finding the nice little hide - The log felt a little damp but in perfect working order. TFTC
