No check from the CO in almost 2 months and they haven't been seen online since a 2012 date! Time to be cleared for others?
Third look on cold low muggle day still no joy tough place to look no obvious places even for a small cache hasn't been found since sept any chance of a check
Went looking for this one with DiOnlyBob and Pirry - actually went there twice and could not find it. The first time we didnt get to have a good look because there were too many muggles around (being such a beautiful day) and then the second time we went back it was night time but there were still a couple of muggles around and just using our mobile flashlights wasn't enought to locate it. Oh well - better luck next time!
Absolutely stunning church on the hill on the way in to this one.
Found the location, very nice, but heaps of muggles today so could not do a proper search.
Will need to return close to dusk one day and try again.

Geodad has come here before to find too many muggles around to even start to search for this one...so being that we were on our way home from doing a run in Bundeena & it was after midnight we thought that we would have more of a chance to have a good look around....we were right had the place to ourselves...no wonder there are so many DNF on this one as when the GZ is so far out & in a completely different area...it is almost impossible to find....GZ is about 10 meters out so if you head to the where the fish sign is you will have a better chance to find this one...also we found lots of redback spiders so please be careful when feeling around....as previous cachers have said the chain is now broken & no longer attached to the cache itself so it needs maintenance as we can't see this one staying here for long now but glad that we got the smily...T4TC...
Our intention was not to cheat. Have changed the find to a note. Our note did say that it was in the same place we had left it in. You obviously missed the point 4DXPLOR.
Will check the co-ordinates next time I'm around.
Will check the co-ordinates next time I'm around.
The coordinates need to be up-dated as they are about 10 meters out (which is more than allowed in the geocaching rules)...also the cache itself is no longer in the same condition as when first originally placed & needs a little maintenance....also don't know how you can log your own cache as a find like you have on the 5/9/2010 considering that you placed it out there...I think that's called cheating!!!
SirJ-Oz & I swung by this one to take a look, but apparently Sydneysiders like to spend sunny weekends at the beach (go figure!) so we weren't really able to give it a decent shot without drawing attention to ourselves. Will have to come back sometime - in a thunderstorm, in the middle of winter....
Managed to get some snaps of the bay and it was a great day to be out & about, so it wasn't a total loss.

finally. Have searched for this, one of the closest caches to my home, at least 6-7 times. Looked once again everywhere and spot suddenly something different from the structure, yes it was the Cache and I could finally log it. I definetely did not want to log this one as dnf. Today found it with my nephew whilst introducing him to the first steps of Geocaching. TFTC for this tricky one.
Working nearby and having my first job cancelled wandered over to grab this on a beautiful Monday morning before 8 the co-ordinates were good It is an easy find at the right angle. Cache is loose no chain attached TFTC
Last attempt (in May) it was pouring down rain and I couldn't get near GZ due to a torrent of water running down the slope.
Returning on (slightly) dryer day, and with reinforcement (Smigglepot) to make another attempt.
Had to resort to the hint ... which pretty much pointed us straight to the cache.

[It's definitely not muggled, I hate it when people come to those conclusions. Thought this was going to be a DNF but no. It was the easiest find for the day and I've got no idea why theres been so many DNFs. CO, could you please change the coordinates to the ones Gaztek recommended, they're spot on. We used them instead of the listed ones and since we've found coastal walk this one was simple. Does need maintenance though as the keychain is so rusty it's about to break. TFTC. oh and p.s. because of all the DNFs I guess I should leave a hint with my log,] the cache is under the platform between the two stairwells where Gaztek's coordinates lead.
Had a bit of spare time so gave this a try, (using Gzteks coords as well as posted ones) but no luck finding the cache - reading more logs, I guess I did not look quite everywhere.
A great little spot though, I was not aware this beach was here, thanks.
A great little spot though, I was not aware this beach was here, thanks.
Thought it would be quick and easy, but no luck. Photos did not help at all as the sign is no longer there.
At first I couldn't find this then decided to try Gazteks co-ordinates (S33 58.794, E151 15.065) for an easy find. Thanks for taking me down here. The last time I ever came here my Dad was sick in the hospital that is now being developed like crazy. Houses, Unit blocks.. Don't we need Hospitals?
After spending a solid 4 hours with a muggle friend I finally found this annoyingly small cache... Cache container is heavily weathered obviously due to the close salt air but still intact....

My friend and i looked for it but we couldn't find it we didn't know if it was high or low so after 1 hour we gave up I found it really hard but I am only 12 and I think this is for adults.... anyway thanks for the awesome adventure it was heaps of fun
Heavy muggle traffic today, and gps reception not real good. Looked a few min., but gave up. A little reluctant to reach into spots I can't see here like I do at home in the US, too many critters here to maim and kill you! Still a great spot, very nice beach. Would love to play the golf course too!
spent almost an hour here but no luck, but i will return and hopefully suceed one day soon i love littel bay havent been here in years
I was working along the nearby coastline all day and wandered down to the beach late afternoon. Thunder, lightning and the threat of severe hail to the south gave me a muggle fee zone at GZ. The cache was found and I carried on with a bit more work bfore the storm finally hit. Its appalling that private luxury housing should take precedence over open access to a beach. Thanks Charlie Brown.
Took a while to find but we got there with heavy muggle activity on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Kinda sad to see all the 'progress' on the Prince Henry site, this was such a quiet little beach.
Oh the keyring is almost rusted all the way through, looks like it won't survive another year with out maintenance of some sort.

Yep, it's there! Previous experience and the hint gave us some ideas about where to look. Mrs G spotted it and Mr G reached in and got it. Top little hide! Our coordinates were a little different S 33 58.794 and E 151 15.065 but if you looking in the right spot it is actually clearly visible if a little challenging to reach. Love this little beach. Hope the housing doesn't lock it off from the public. SL TFTC Cheers..........Gaztek
spent some time here trying to avoide the visitors.. thought a rainy afternoon would help keep the crowds down... and they probably did.. but that didnt help us to find it
having just found another of Mrbrowns caches thought ok.. will have a look... then realised it was a micro...
its sposed to be a holiday weekend!!!!!
we left empty handed
beaten but not defeted!!!!!!

XXS is still in it's location. One should be sure when requesting it be archived!
Hmmm I dont know, Its got a really high find/dnf ratio... I think a cache check first before its put on the blocks. Owner not around for a few months, maybe the Hancocks could have a peek? I'll message them
no ,,,, no luck,, was surprised as I searched all possible locations, but!!!!
will be back later
cheers

Visiting Austraia I am learning GeoCaching. Report cannot find first hunted cache. What is 'Coastal Walk' clue?
At last! A return to visit to this old haunt and this time little Miss H spotted it within a few minutes. Not sure how we missed it before as it's exactly where we thought it should have been going by the clue!
Can't believe how much the place has changed in the last couple of years! Still a great beach though, and we had the place pretty much to ourselves today.
Cheers,
The Hancock Clan

As fieldwork brought me this way, I couldn't resist the chance to sneak off a little bit earlier to find this. Happy to report the beach was practically deserted (as you'd expect on a blustering and overcast day) which made searching straightforward. Retrieved, signed log, replaced and then plonked myself down to eat a gloriously oily curry on the beach.
This place is probably best visited on a rainy day when the golfers and beach goers aren't around.
Lots of fishermen too...
Lovely sunset view.

7.30 am, Saturday morning in La Peruse
What am I thinking should be in bed having a snooze
But my mate talked me into doing a dive
The only reason for this cross city drive
Bear Island was to be the point of entry
Sharks, weedy sea dragons, plenty to see
Thought I’d do a cache on the way back
Hunting around, much to my mates amusement
Thinking I was having some sort of spack attack
Had a pretty good search here after watching some golfers but no luck. Will have another go when we are next over from NZ.
383 - 4 for today. Found on 30/08/2009 at 2:56 PM.
A little bit of searching eventually found it. TNSLLN

Now there is just so many places you could hide a micro here.....Finally came up with the goods.
These coords may get you a little closer to the cache, S33 58.791 E151 15.068
Great LITTLE bay, lots of muggles though. Thanks for the cache and hunt, SL

A great day out for some caches started the search once we arrived at GZ with only 1 muggle about and only 5 mins of searching Frippy had the goods in hand, cache is dry and in fairly good shape good hide Thanks.....
This is the first time we attempted this cache due to all the DNF's, but we were in the area so we had to give it a go. After arriving at GZ we had it pretty quick. This place is very cool, I wish I could spend more time here.
Thanks
Thanks
I had a little time to kill before picking up a colleague from the airport so grabbed a few caches on the way.
The beach was deserted today which gave me plenty of time to find the cache - good hide. TFTC.

Last note is from September last year when I requested maintenance. Flagging to reviewers for archiving.
Nice beach but a staircase with rubbish to the left and the right. And there you shouldlook probably for a femto class cache container. The direct area was just not encouraging to search for a while with the microscope....
Needs maintenance in my eyes.

I've done some of your other caches and I know how tricky they can be. No luck for me either. Maybe it's there, maybe it's not. Maybe I'm just blind.
We were out this way to do some other thigs, so thought we would be smart and grab this cache at the same time. It seems though that this cache may have been muggled, as we knew exactly what we were looking for & we phoned a friend and got pretty good directions as to the exact location. A good 20-30 minutes of looking failed to uncover the cache, so Charlie Brown, you might like to go and confirm that this one is still there.
Great location - should of brought the swimmers to join the few that were relaxing in the bay.
Hopefuly we will have more luck next time.
Cheers, Usat31

Need to go back when it's not a sunny Sunday afternoon! Far too many muggles!
DNF. Looked for a while and gave up.
Interesting to see how much is happening down that way, first time in that area.
Thanks for taking us there.

Nabbed this one a while ago but had forgot to log it - luckily no-one around to see us do the quick grab. Cheers!
First cache in two years!!!!!
All good even with golfers belting balls around.

An easy find with no golfers using the nearby tee.
XXS (for us) must mean "eXtra eXtra Special". The small bay was really beautiful - we'll be back again on a sunny day for another look and a walk on the sand. It was a great location to celebrate our 150th find - thanks "Charlie Brown" for a memorable cache.

I must have been chasing Tufty around today and just missing out, though I did get this one when he didn't.
Very nice, very easy, very Charlie Brown.
I don't believe it deserves the rating you have given it though, Charlie, perhaps a 1.5 would be better.
Anyway TFTC.

Too many muggles at the GZ and I was getting some funny looks so I decided not to spend any more time in looking.
This was a great treat as I combined two passions of mine golf and caching. I couldn't resist a quick detour from the 18th hole. Picked up the cache and then drove the little white ball down the fairway. Great day, great shot and great cache. TFTC
Lovely beach and views! We kept an eye out for all the golfers and loose doggles along the way, but no problem at the cache site - it was deserted! Signed the loooong log! Thank you for sharing this great area and for the cache Charlie Brown!
Clever hide beach not very crowded so not to much trouble locating, thanks for bringing us here

Thanks CharlieBrown. A great little beach and the geo-hound enjoyed ignoring the signs along with all the other doggles.
As others say, nice container

finished work early and off to do some cache by the sea side .quite a tricky one, once you get the right angle , all is revealed.nice one.
was dissapointed I couldn't find this one... it was dark tho. tried to get there by dusk, but failed. the light from my phone display didn't help all that much. found gz without a problem. but too wet to get on all fours. will try again next week
Found this @ 16:27 after an unsuccessful look for "Mission Quite Possible" where I was hit by a golf ball. The micro-cache was 8 metres away from GZ on my GPS, but eventually I found it.
Thanks Charlie Brown.
Thanks Charlie Brown.
Found this one with BigMickB and imgettingannoyed, nice little hide. TNLN. Thanks for the adventure. 8th of 10 for our night caching run. 11:15pm
Eigth of 10 finds for the night by the Team Booted Night Assault Squad at 2315. A bit of a brief mixup with the GPSr, but we had the cache in hand without too much drama. Looks like it'd be a nice spot during daylight hours. Thanks Charlie Brown!
Found it yesterday, but didn't have a writing implement on me to log it so I came back, better prepared, today and logged my find. TFTC!
Spent about 30 mins looking but gave up due to the number of muggles. I shall return.
Our last stop for the day. Found it, disregarded it then went back for a second look. I really have to stop doing that. Love the holder. Mental note to self... If it looks like it may be it...it probably is.
Heard the Snorkeling was good in the little bay. Water was still pretty cold though. Not so many people around which made finding the cache easier.
Hadn't brought a pen with me so had to scribe my name with a bit of charcoal I found on the beach.
Thanks CB.
BTW the rubber seal on the container has perished.

Great spot. Unable to find cache. Turned up when it was nearly to dark to see.Renovations to the site ie stairs made it hard to get to GZ.
Having done Coastal Walk before, I knew exactly where to look - and there it was. Nice hiding spot and great "official" GC container.
Those stairs are some of the highest quality ones I've seen in a public place. Top little beach, especially on a nice day like today.
Good one CB.

Cool cache container. Nice beach. Nice lawn. Nice costal bushes. Nice stairs. Nice Orb spiders.
Left a star impression. Thanks Charlie B for bringing me here. Conveniently close to GCJE65 [^]. BTW, I’m glad Swag Agg had is old clothes on.
Clear skies, Astro.
As I approached the car park, the infamous security guard was lurking around the Chapel, however, that was the only time I encountered him. It was off to GZ in the fading light!
I looked in many 'little places', to no avail. I looked in the 'obvious place', to no avail--my GPSr was pointing 3m away from there anyway. I decrypted the hint, went to the cache page referred to therein, and read its hint. It seemed to confirm that I was looking in the correct place. Hmmmmm. I started looking in unlikely places, to no avail. I rechecked places I had looked at before, to no avail. On top of it all, the light was fading fast.
My spate of DNFs on Sydney caches was starting to rankle, as well as being an embarrassment. [B)] I cracked and rang the Charlie Brown help line. He gave me a big hint, and I finally found it at 2010, about 6m away from where my GPSr was pointing me. The satellite gods were not smiling on me tonight. Great container! Thanks to Charlie Brown for the cache, and for taking pity on a poor Southerner on the loose in the big city.

My second find for the day...
After avoiding the security guard, who had been watching me Try to find "Mission Quite Possible" I found this one in a flash.
Thanks

Early finish at work on Christmas Eve, what are you going to do? Go home, or use the time to finish off those goecaches you have been trying to find time to do for six months.
It's hard to avoid muggles on this one so I got out the clipboard disguise - today I was involved in a "lizard survey" - a couple of curious muggles were glad to hear that the skink population was on the rise in the area.
Rathard.

I did this one by Remote control... I was reaching for it.. guided by Ratboy in a better position to observe.. I rehid it MIX style. Now, I finally believe all the stories that the tangled ones tell.. I do, I really really do... we spotted a young lass sunning herself here partially clad and there were more adventures yet to come....
What a spot to watch the sun beat down on tanning skin - Oh back to the cache. Yep me and Swampy found it.
Just before noon on a warm sunny public holiday was not going to be a good time to search for this one. With a beach full of onlookers, I figured another time might be better.

Second cache on our day out with Ebenezer and Hecta. Great area, lovely views etc but it did take us quite a while to find this one. Even had to brush off friendly offers to help "find the thing I'd lost" from one persistent stranger!
A well hidden cache!
A well hidden cache!
With a little bit of time left before the Katricks had to head off back to Canberra we decided to take in XXS.
While one of us minded the Ebenezerling the rest of us searched for the elusive cache. Found eventually by "Rick".

An easy find, even for a micro. Some nice new steps have been installed here since last time we came here to go snorkelling.
Signed the log, tried to force a ocky strap into it, but it would not fit.
