Yay time for another Tuesday Trekking, for 3 confused geocachers.Today's plan was for the ttrogg to pick up the Rat from the Rat's nest.We jumped into the ttrogg mobile, and headed for the starfishs pond. Then we piled into the Starfish mobile, and headed for Ngarkat CP.Like looking at ruins, have to wonder about the life back then.A quick find and stamp by SA Sewer Rats and replaced as found. Tftc
Time for some more Tuesday Trekking and this time the Starfish wanted to try out the new geo vehicle in the wild. So after picking up the Rat from her nest we headed to the Starfish's pool and piled into his wheels. The testing area was the Ngarkat Conservation Park, Sometime later we were at an entrance where the signs were examined for any relevant information. Then it was sand, sand, rocks, sand and more sand, not to mention thousands of flies. And every so often there was a cache to find, and this was one of them, most required a bit of a walk but it was a nice day for a wander. It was well after dark before I was home but all caches looked for were found and the Starfish's wheels passed all tests with flying colours. Thanks to richary (adopted by Hurtle) for adding this cache to our playing fieldSmilie #15686.I would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this Land, and their continuing connection to it. I also wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders past, present and emerging.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
What a beautiful drive in and spot to stop!Love old ruins, unimaginable that people lived way out here long ago where there were no services. If only these walls could talk!Heading across to Adelaide, after an astronomical weekend at Wyperfeld National Park. Always enjoying the adventure!Thank you Hurtle for placing this game piece here, contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
You beauty - another one off the D/T matrix but a bit of sand driving getting here - a fave. Road trip to SA with the Geobro - signing as YAWT - TFTC
Found with the help of a couple of Mexican mates, thanks Hurtle for taking on this cache.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Hurtle for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Heading into SA for a weekend away and spotted this. Being it was also a camping spot was keen to go check it out. The drive in was nice and certainly a spot would love to return to explore more and the nearby camping looks a good place to setup camp. As for the cache it was in a cool location which we spent some time exploring after locating and signing.
Thanks Hurtle for the cache.

Today’s adventure has taken us into Ngarkat Conservation Park to explore this uncharted area. After paying our $12 entrance fee online and deflating our tyre pressure to 16 PSI we headed in on the sandy tracks which sometimes were also rocky enjoying this side of the park.
This was a great old ruin to visit first. Some photos were taken before searching for the geocache.
Found the cache in good condition, signed and returned.
Thanks Hurtle for maintaining this oldie.

It was time to leave the Robe area and take a bit of a wander further north with ilook4geo. This was a nice detour from the route we were taking. Yes, you do need a 4WD along this fun sandy track. Arrived at GZ and searched the wrong place. After finding nothing we read the hint and decided to change tack. Then it was a quick and easy find and the log was soon signed with both names before all was replaced as found.
Thanks go to Hurtle for adopting and maintaining this cache.

On the road again today with goingplaces2 and picked out some random caches for the day. We found all that we looked for and enjoyed another fun day caching along the road. Logs were signed and all caches replaced as found.
Enjoyed the drive along the track and with a 4WD it was no problem. Cache was found, but not in the first place checked. All was good with the container and log. TFTC.

A quick trip to Ngarkat for a camping weekend was planned with Baking Tray Pancakes. We camped at Rabbit Island Soak camp-site and enjoyed a few caches.
Looks like quite a few stones have been unturned looking for this one. No need to move any stones inside the house.

A great spot to pitch a tent and find a cache. So if you are feeling down I would suggest you buck up and head here. TFTC
On a road trip to South Australia with Joolay and barb2e - today is Day 9 (Mt Gambier to Renmark). We signed all caches as Border Busters or BB.
We did a major diversion to drive to get this cache. Joolay wasn't happy to drive thru the last 500m so we walked it in
Condition Report:. Ok
Log Book: lots of room
Thanks for hiding this cache richary

OMG that was hectic. My X-Trail was up for the road till about 500m out and then too risky. Now to get back out.
Leaving Mt Gambier today after a great stay and heading to Renmark. The weather was pretty cold but managed to get lots of caches done.
On a road trip to South Australia now the border is open with Kittykatch, and barb2e calling ourselves at day Border Busters or BB. Nineth day of our trip and loving the beautiful green fields and cool day. Awesome day to be out.

Day 9 on we are on our way home. It has been a great trip into SA and has gone very quickly. Found with Joolay and Kittykatch on a clear day. Got in here - now to get out again. Tftc
We had camped at Rabbit Soak and then drove through here to get out of the Park. A little bit of hunting around until we saw the cache but got there in the end.
Looked around for a little while. But found in an easy spot. Thanks for the cache.
what an adventure we had on out border track trip. found a few caches and new friends. with JLWE cancelled due to covid it was time to do something for ourselves and have some fun. great adventure thankyou for adding to it.
With a rare public holiday day off, it was time for a road trip. DAB and I packed the geo wheels and took off over the border to find us some nice DT caches for the weekend. We packed the extendable ladder as well as lots of other supplies and took off.
With memories of our border track adventure, this is the first time we have been in this much sand for awhile. The tracks were fun and we really enjoyed our adventure out here for the last cache of our trip. Amazing that people at one stage were out here living.
**Our thanks to richary for placing this cache for us to find and enjoy**

What to do on a long weekend... I know, let's go geocaching !! While we are at it, why not cross the border as well !! So once again, I teamed up with Na'wal to find some hidden treasures. We loaded the GPSr's up with some juicy D/T hides, loaded up the car and hit the highway. The ladder certainly got a work out here, glad I packed it in the car.
Luckily there were DNF's, that would have stung !! We grabbed a great variety of hides, a credit to the CO's. We didn't even make a dent in all of the awesome hides here. Oh well, we'll just have to return here again !!
This was our last find on our trip and the one I had been looking forward to most !! After driving the Border Track a while ago, we realised how fun sand driving can be. We had a ball driving in, bouncing up and down the tracks. It must have been a hard life here, no convenience store to walk to when you are short on food. Thanks for showing us this hidden gem. Learner driving with Sebastbat.... he has to drive in all conditions
Jack and Purrfect Di plus Alex the muggle came along too.
The hint suggestion made purfect sense and cache was found in the first place we looked.
The drive in and on further was good fun, with plenty of roos and an emu joining us.
Good to find an older cache and one that's not a mint tin in the city Gets another fav from us!
Thanks dalekerrigan for putting this cache out to be found

An extended weekend with the main destination of the 4WD border track between South Australia and Victoria. Friday consisted of an early start from Adelaide to Ngarkat Conservation Park, and along the way, a few small detours and the Geopets series just outside of Tailem Bend. On Saturday, we tackled our primary purpose of the weekend traveling along the one-way border track, and finally, on Sunday, we left the camp to complete some nearby geocaches and finish the This is SA geoart series near Bordertown, before traveling back home to catch a flight to Brisbane.
Today, I traveled with [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) to Tailem Bend to take a few backroads for some geocaches and targets, before filling in time finishing the geopets series. We then met with [@Brad&Janet](http://coord.info/PR8T99X), and traveled to Ngarkat Conservation Park to start our 4WD adventure, and visit those geocaches. We took a "shortcut" along a track that was marked on one map, but didn't appear on others, but after some discussion, we thought we would give it a go. It was an example of short distance, but with poor maintenance and high density of sticks and branches, it was slow going and relenting. As the sun started setting, we made final preparations for the day ahead and I grabbed some fuel, to then visit the campsite to meet the various Geocachers for the day ahead.
We entered Mount Rescue Conservation Park just next to Ngarkat, and thought we were good enough to not drop our tyres down in pressure just yet. Well after a few difficult patches, we made it here, but were smart to then subsequently prepare our tyres for the route ahead of us. This was a cool area with the ruins always an interesting location to place a cache and bring people to. It could use the Abandoned Building attribute actually ha. I dropped a TB here that I hadn't logged, but Mattycat picked it up before I could formally drop it. Thanks richary for its placement, and dalekerrigan for its ongoing maintenance.

After catching up with Brad&Janet we made our way to the consternation park. This was the first one along the road. An amazing location with some interesting history, cache is all good.
A massive multi day trip to the border of south Australia and Victoria. The trip consisted of 3 days. 1st day was from Adelaide to the border. Day 2 a drive along the border track and day 3 red bluff to Adelaide via border town.
Day 1: a trip with David Wazza to complete the geo pets series as well as some other caches around Tailem Bend before meeting up with brad & Janet at Tailem Bend and heading to Ngarkat national park for some 4wd and the caches around the area. After finding the first cache an individual decided that we would go down a track that was the quick way, actually a detour if about an hour or so extra. Sometimes it’s best not to follow the GPS.
Then collected some unloved then off to the campsite to meet (the tritonz, micaparmedic, becNmonts, posums, freddo, malco, super orange, super turtle, csaba, mogni, sir_spectre, bucketeer, papi 4506, Na’wal, DAB, echocage1 and laighside legends.
Day 2 was from the event .... to red bluff along the border track collect the caches along the way. At the start of the track one caching team had to pull out due to there car not being up for the track, funny to hear the kids on the UHF at the time turn the situation into a funny one. Mica Paramedics car had some issues with not starting as well as the Jeep hitting the reel tracks showing up the Pajeros, prados and land cruisers. Should of bought a Jeep.
Day 3 David Wazza and I left the red bluff camp spot for the this is SA series, a really fast drive whilst we replaced them all for the CO as requested, although most were in tact. We later went to cache near by and got caught by a farmer for quite some time. Still managed to find the cache though.
Thanks to the Tritonz for a great weekend of organisation and the cache owners for their placements.

Found with e.gregory1 during a trip to the Riverland, on to the Border Track, and into Ngarkat Conservation Park and Big Desert. Really enjoyed the 4WD tracks, camping out in the serenity of the desert and the adventure. Thanks for the cache richary!
Found with FeatherWaite on an extended long weekend trip that saw us in the Riverland, the Big Desert and Ngarkat CP.
This was the last cache in the park before heading back to Adelaide. We had been caching south of Murrayville in the morning and then made our way down through Ngarkat to this one - all in all a long day of mostly sand driving.
The container was found not where we quite expected after looking in the 'obvious' spots, but nevertheless, was consistent with the hint.
Thanks richary for the cache.

Stayed at Rabbit Island prev night, then headed via Bucks up to Box Flat. A glorious day and plenty flowering given a few weeks before Spring
Freddo, Brad&Janet and Malco! journeyed east from wet and windy Adelaide to find sun and adventure along the Limestone Coast and the Goldfields of Ballarat and beyond.
Along the way we climbed trees, ventured underground in caverns and drains, kayaked on lakes, ate Thai food, slept in modest accommodations and generally had a good time. We all achieved personal milestone in the form of D/T loops achieved and physical challenges met. We all lost various items, only to find them again. We got wet, muddy, bruised, tired, battered, caffeine deprived and over-dosed. We used various items such as telescoping ladders, one and two man kayaks, ropes, multi-tools and 4x4 vehicles. We went off-road up forest tracks and over sand dunes. We visited caravan parks, lake-side campsites, city centres, ports, small towns, medium towns & big towns.
Brad's awesome 4WD handled the sandy conditions effortlessly and soon we were approaching GZ. The march flies lay in ambush and as we got near, they attacked trapping us in the vehicle. Out came the Aeroguard. I pushed Freddo out to sacrifice himself while we lathered ourselves in repellent. It worked as hungry insects disappeared when we got out.
We carefully inspected the ruins, making sure we didn't add to the decay. **Cache was found outside the ruin so no need to get warm.**
With this find, my 6th D/T loop was completed. Congrates to Freddo in achieving his 10th D/T (I've got a long way to go to catch him!)
Thanks for the cache, dalekerrigan

Freddo, Malco! and Brad were all travelling back from a very successful weekend in Victoria.
Malco! finished his 5th DT loop
Freddo finished his 10th DT loop
Brad&Janet snd Freddo both finished their first Mystery DT loop
Plus we kayaked, climbed trees, explored old drains and all entered our first ever lava tube!
A great weekend. And this was our last target.
The LC200 lapped up the sand including the wet spots and we quickly arrived at GZ. A beautiful drive and a great spot.
We searched for quite a while without success as the hint led us into the old structure. None of us were keen to dismantle or damage it further. Eventually we found the prize.
**It is outside the perimeter of the old walls**
There is no need to risk causing further damage to the structure
And that was Malco!'s 6th DT loop done as well

Mega time Who can resist a great Mega and all of the fun that is involved[?] Not me!
Thankfully, the lovely GoodLook and Clare007 also wanted to attend and so plans were made.
Last minute changes saw GoodLook and I head off in Harry much earlier than expected while Clare007 arrived later.
A massive 6 days of caching, competition[^], hugs [:X], jokes (don't mention windscreen wipers ), more caching , catching up with some fantastic people and missing seeing some other fantastic people while enjoying the wonderful countryside and views around the Anglesea area [^]
Today was a driving day and while I only made 3 finds, they were good caches to find
This cache has taunted me for some time now when I travel past this area and so today, with just a little time up our sleeves and having heard that fellow SA geocachers had made it in here, we decided to give it a go [^]
Harry performed admirably and made it quite a way in before I decided that prudence would be a good idea and so I locked the hubs in!
The sandy bits were fun, the ruins were awesome [^] and the lizards were plentiful
We couldn't leave until I chased a stumpy out from under Harry's rear tyre as I sure didn't want to squash it!
Love these types of caches [^]

WOO HOO!! During this 'extra long weekend', I attended my very first Australian Mega - held in a beautiful part of the world - Anglesea, Victoria.
I also:
- shared some awesome moments with friends [^]
- laughed lots and maybe even cried a lil
- got some lovely hugs and a few playful slaps
- became the resident paramedic on the trip (as I believe my favourite MICA paramedic recently retired ) - maybe it was because I seemed to be the one with the best stocked medication bag LOL
- completed a new power trail and found plenty of caches, including challenge caches I have either already qualified for, or very soon will [^]
I even achieved my 4000th cache find (in 10.5 months) and found 10 different cache types in one day with the help of my beautiful buddies (including my tree climbing 'ex' LMAO) [^] Six events in total this weekend WOO HOO!!!
Thanks to everyone who assisted me whilst caching this weekend - particularly Ms Locus Cache who joined me on yet another girls road trip, and the lovely Clare007 who stayed with us, cached and then accompanied us home.
Thanks for the cache dalekerrigan

Heading over the border for yet another caching adventure. My partner in caching for the trip over was the one and only Anymules in his new super cool 4WD geo-mobile. [^][^]
So put in a pocket query for 5 kms either side of the highway. Loaded up the GPS and turned it on.
First stop......near Horsham. Bugger!
Lucky for me I was able to persuade AnyMules to test out his new 4WD capability with a quick detour to one I couldn't find earlier in June this year.
The track which caused my AWD a few scrapes earlier was not match for the super cool Geo-beastie and we were at GZ in no-time.
Now for the search. I was sure I had looked in every nook and cranny and turned over every rock on the previous visit but I set out to do it all again. . In what seemed like no-time at all AnyMules called out 'got it'. What there [?] Damn sure I had visited that spot last time.
Oh well my name is in the log book now. Thanks for the adventure dalekerrigan.

My caching partner for this trip had previously DNFd this one so convinced me that we needed to stop and have a look for it. An interesting drive in, the first off-road drive in my 4WD. At GZ, I happened to look in the right spot and find the container. TFTC. 8/11/16, 11:00 am Find #3038.
Tried to find this one about 3 years ago without success , so thought we'd have another go since it's been replaced (and we were in the area) .
Looked around for a long time, under every rock we could, but it was Mrs DISK (again) who found the brilliantly camo'd cache . You didn't say it was UNDER A ROCK !!!
TNLNSL.
Thanks Richary (and Felix II for replacing the cache).

Returning home from Naracoorte after getting the geomobile serviced. [:0] It is not a long story, just a family matter.
It had been raining quite a bit down there but it was bright sunshine here.
The track was dry but well rutted and I could have done with a bit more clearance but I got in safely and spent about a half an hour searching the ruin and nearby without any luck. Even found a great spot that fitted the clue but it was empty. Perhaps another time!

We found this cache only by chance, as this place wasn't actually on the planned route for the big Tassie invasion of VIC and SA.
I'm glad we did stop here for lunch and the cache find was a bonus.
Much frivolity ensured when red tag went to find the cache.
An awesome area and I reckon I'll be back to stay overnight.
Thanks for the cache!

Lunch stop on the last full day of our Vic/SA 4WD adventure. We had driven 2500km by this stage, including the Border track. Not soon after this point, Red Tag and Brian turned left and headed for the surgeon's knife.
Found in the esteemed company of my wife , Teamswampy and partner, Red Tag and Brian and Chris Mc.
Much walking around, examining the ruins, strains of "no, no, nothing to see here" and eventually everyone signed the log.
We headed west after this to Adelaide.
Thanks ever so much dalekerrigan, it topped off a great trip.

First test of my new car and it got us out there and back. But we did take some time to find the cache but we did in the end and thats what counts.
Sorry for the late log I have fallen a bit behind in logging.

Found It!
When out to this cache with Dazzatrons new 4WD - it's first time on a 4WD track. I think he took a bit of sand home with him underneath the car but it got us to GZ and back!
Took us quite a while to find the cache at GZ - the hint lead us astray...
TFTC and the interesting drive into a part of the world I've never visited before!

Great drive in at sunset tonight. So glad we made the diversion from the highway. What a fabulous lost heritage site. We will be back to camp in the future. SL TFTC
We were very confused with the cache page here saying the cache had been replaced so off we set. Once at GZ we reread the page and we werent so sure that it had been replaced recently... [B)]. Loved the area and think it's well worthy of a Geocache.
We have placed a new sistema 'behind' the fireplace under a rock. Hope it survives for a while. Have been in contact with the CO and all seems good for now. Such a historic place and so worthy of a geocache. Hope it remains for time to come.
Have emailed the current CO about this cache.
After receiving a reply we are now logging and hope this enables many more finds of this cache. The cache is no longer in but behind the fireplace at GZ. "Stay away Muggles"

great spot. will definitely come back for another look and might even spend the night.
Came through here with munsoon on our way back to adelaide. Looked every where but like to 2 logs before hand could not find it. Beautiful area
Start of our trip into Ngarkat today, with this being the first cache we seriously looked for (a quick stop and DNF elsewhere earlier) .
Looked around GZ, but couldn't turn it up, so Nibs, our travelling companions and previous finders, looked without sucess either .
This one appears to be missing [xx(].
Thanks for getting us to stop here Richary [^]. A good excuse to come back another time .

Found after a short search. Interesting spot and nice camp site nearby. Thx dalekerrigan and richary for the cache.
Great old ruin and monument to the folly of trying to eke out an existence in these sort of places. It looked a nice area to camp, but as this was the start of our trip into the park we had planned to be elsewhere when night fell [^]. No swaps. Cheers Richard .
I was very excited to find this cache, it was the last combination I needed to fill in my 4x4 difficulty terrain grid... so I made the family take a detour to find it this afternoon [^] Last time I was in Ngarkat it was still recovering from fires, nice to see it looking the way it was today. Didn't see any other people around but did see a few Roos. Found the cache after a short search. TFTC
Ooh and my 420th find, yay!
Ooh and my 420th find, yay!
It seemed fairly obvious where the cache should be, but it still took some extensive searching by Mr O and AdrianMc before the right spot was located. TFTC and thanks for keeping it going.
A nice place for a cache.
The cache was well hidden, so well that it took o'cholio acouple of looks to find it.

#1307 Found on our camping adventure with DazzPete over the Easter/Anzac weekend. Decided this was a pretty nice area to set up camp with great tree cover and camping facilities (although a long drop wouldn't have gone astray ). GeoP had previously found this before our attempt. TFTC dalekerrigan - great to see these ones kept active as they are well worth it is such fantastic locations.
Took: Koala Pirate TB to keep it moving

One always wonders about life in those days. Was the maisonette cottage inhabited by two shepherds, hence the mirror image of the rooms or was it something else? Great stone work with chock stones still working for both fireplaces. Check out the work to dig the well.

Fantastic find, shared the experince with our 4 kids they found it very exciting and keen to find more. This was our first find and now we are hooked. Log book was an interesting read.
A 4 star cache with Mike from TWDG! He tried to strap him in the car but like Hannibal Lechter he chewed through his restraints and escaped the car.
We held his hand to make sure he came to no harm.
Lots of tents in the campground but no people, odd really because at the next campground there were lots of people but no tents.

A cache that I have been wanting to visit for years and years. Lovely camp. The best in the park.
Found while on a 4wd weekend around Ngarkat CP with Freddo & Team Waldron. TFTC
Enjoyed finding this classic cache today. Alas there are no trackballs in it. Not sure how long ago they were supposed to be there. Loved the spot and the park. TFTC

to do some caches, with Rokz, on a visit through the Upper South East.

Just letting you know ever thing is ok with cache. Went past today. Thought i would check it. Cheers From Bronsen.
Found this one with 5 4wd mates. Three of them camped with me for the night at Bucks camp ground. Two returned to the big smoke. This cache marked the end a three days of great camping and 4wding in the area!

Ngarkat 4WD trip with Dalekerrigan & Camping Team. 2/11. This is now my cache. Found it without too much trouble. There were some inappropriate items which we removed and the log book is full so I'll leave the maintenance sign on. I should be able to visit again soon to replace a full log book (since I brought everything else camping...). I rehid it a little better and may even change co-ords the next time I visit. I appreciate any updates on the status of this one.
Buck Up was transferred from richary to user dalekerrigan
I will be visiting this cache this long weekend (June 6th) to check up on it and move it if necessary.

Thanks for the note Mooshell.
I handed over my Adelaide caches when I moved to Sydney but didn't worry so much about the country ones as they tend to look after themselves. And if a problem with wear and tear happens then people tend to fix them up as they find them as wombats5372 did recently. The muggle problem is different though.
While in the fireplace it seemed to get found by the odd muggle but up until now they have left nice comments rather than trashing it. I figured the spot was reasonably safe from bushfires etc.
Anyone wants to take it over, let me know. Anywat, time to modify the descruption.

There were no travel bugs. Muggles have found this cache and have tampered with it and have put inappropriate things into the container.
I recommend re-hiding the cache as it was easily seen and not very well hidden.
We tried to hide it as best as possible, without moving its position.
Enjoyed the drive.

Just a quick note to let you know that I have replaced the cache container today with one I had spare. The old plastic bucket had seen the end of its life.
The new container is a metal tin that is camo'd black and grey to make it harder for the muggles to find. Cache is at the same co-ordinates though it is in a harder spot to find. Cachers should have no troubles finding it but hopefully it will be harder for the muggles.
Please return the cache to its hiding place to keep it intact.

Geohubby found this one this morning with Geobrother-in-law. Was not very well hidden and had been muggled. The TB/s that were supposed to be there had vanished. We replaced the container with a sturdy camoflaged tin, added a few keyrings and ensured it was properly hidden (muggles would not easily find with a brief glance). TFTC
Found this one with the Scouts as we left our camp at Rabbit Island Soak. Left Scout Badge TB. There are quite a few logs from non-cachers that have found the cache by accident. TFTC
Geokid#1 found this his trip to Ngarkat Conservation Park for the weekend with the Blackwood Scouts.

Too easy, found cache nearly trashed.
We put contents back together and lid back on. I dont think the container is going to last much longer, could do with a smaller one for this position anyway.

Well, that was a lot harder than it needed to be..........
This has been sitting on my Dukes/Western Hwy drive by list for too long, and with a little more time to spare today now was my opportunity.
Without checking any notes I followed the purple line, and found myself following a HiLux down a no through road. He turned round at the end of the hard pack and I continued on down a sandy track along a fence line for a few Km.
On reaching the park boundary there were 3 options. Left was a tricky looking climb up a dune, right was a well made track, better than I had been on, and straight on looked like no one had been up there in years. So I took the right road up the hill to where that track deteriorated to nothing, but I had the vista to tell me I needed to go down the overgrown centre track.
That's when I read the notes and found this is 4WD only cache. Checked the GPSr and the cache is 2Km away, so I decided to walk the rest of the way.
I headed off over the dunes for an enjoyable walk. The track would disappear and then reappear. There were trees growing in the middle of it. This is a serious 4x4 track. Land Cruiser / Defender country.
After about 45 minutes I crested a hill and before me was an open valley, with established camp ground and a real track much better than the one I had driven down before resorting to foot travel.
Cache soon had.
Checked the GPSr and found I had traveled in an arc, so decided to try some off trail navigation in the open country, but soon found myself in thick regrowth that hampered and slowed my progress.
Eventually back on the old track and soon back to the car.
A great caching experience.

Easy find while camping here for Easter took Rusty (xmas home hardware dog) and left Bubble Blowing Kit. Travel bug Egor was missing from the cache
Another cache on the road to Melbourne crossed off the list of to dos. Number 6 for the day. Thank god for AWD, it was an interesting drive to the cache.
Many muggles have found the cache recently, signed the log and returned the cache but leaving it exposed. Cache replaced out of sight.
