I do like my archived caches ... and I do like older caches - so I decided to look for this one why not?
I parked up to see a fellow putting a device in his pocket. Hmmm. I parked up and cut through to get to my GZ. Meanwhile, the fellow had followed me and asked if I was geocaching. Am I that obivous? Or maybe he saw my small travel bug on the car...
He explained he was looking for an active geocache. I explained to him I was after another archived one. He seemed surprised. I told him I'd join him after I looked for this one.
I made my way in toward GZ.. and there I saw the beast.. sans its lid. Obviously the log book wasn't happy... but in keeping with the game I signed a small FS on the logbook. Not a bad find after 5 years or so
I wasn't able to help Old Mate with his cache.. we never did find it and he was eager to keep moving.
A great little place for the cache I found though. TFTC Jamss

Time to put this on to bed, I hope all that have visited have enjoyed the find. happy caching. [:p]
Found this cache with a fellow geocacher before i became a member. Today I was going to walk up the ring track so I made another find and was delighted to see that this cache has obviously been well maintained and all was in good order. Duties done, now up that hill. SLTN..TFTC
TFTC! The coordinates were abit of but the hint helped us (COBERR1ES, my dad and me) a lot.
Backlogging some old caches found long ago,
Found a good spot to park, easy find
Thanks

Found this one late in the afternoon. The road was closed due to falling rocks but seeing as though the road closed sign said it was still open if you were going to the archery area or guides hall, we drove through anyway. We've lived in Wollongong for a while now and we had no idea this park was here! We'll definitely be back for a picnic on a sunny day. Thanks!
Found with paulyman after work today, with the road closed we weren't sure we could do it but it is still accessible. TFTC!
The garmin took a little while to warm up today, we must have exhausted the poor thing over the weekend. But once it settled we made an easy find. With the road closed it was nice and quiet. Found with snorris. Thanks.
Found with my little Girl Guide in tow. A deserted park made for an easy wander across the grass to GZ for a quick find.
TNLN and thanks Jamss for the cache.

Just guide us to our 100th cache! What a great park. We definitely want to come back for a picnic sometime. Took the geocoin, left a few trinkets. TFTC!
A beautiful day for geocaching! This is a really nice place.
I've been here on a crowded day- but it was nice and quiet this time.
Dropped Geocoin off
Took nothing

An easy find in a lovely park up the escarpment. We may have missed them but there does not appear to be any toilets here in this picnic area.
Found at 2.20pm GAFF1. A lovely and well maintained park for sure. This place must be very busy on weekends.
Thanks jamss
Feedback: The old log book should be removed as the cache is packed and difficult to get items back in there.

We found the cache and a leech found Cybermew3's leg. The log was very full so we left a new one. TFTC
A whole NP and no one here. That made grabbing the cache easy. Thanks.

Very nice cache, ideally to combine with a family picknick. We took "wired" and will bring it to Germany.
I must have cycled up/down this hill several hundred times and never even noticed this nook. Funny how oxygen deprivation works.
In: TB/Wired; guitar pick, star hair-tie.
Out: Triceratop.
BTW Jamss, the logbook still have some areas to write on, but they will not be sequential in date. Might consider renewing.
Thanks for providing an excuse to stop on the cycle hill-climb.

A quick grab before heading off on the Mt Keira Ring Track with the walking group.
Cold, windy day warmed by another cache find.

What a beautiful spot! I love Mt Kiera, it is such an amazing place! TFTC, took TB to take to Tassie with me
Nice location, got soaked in the rain and picked up a leach but always good to find the cache.
Nice easy find today as I made my way home from work, always a pleasure coming down this way. There's always a bumper load of new caches, Thanks for bringing me here TNLN
A pretty little park which would be a good spot for a picnic lunch on the way through. An easy find given the hint. Kids made a swap and left a few extra little toys for the next kids going through. TFTC
I have to agree with the Co, this is a very nice spot, although it's easy to see why people are missing it, given that road. Anyway, a nice easy find. Thanks
Found today with wot.
Easy find. Actually spotted the cache as we walked towards it.
Very pretty area
TNLN, TFTH!

Knew the park area near the entry of the "title" campground though never actually stopped in before. Fairly easy find and much nicer to spend boxing day caching instead of fighting the sales!
Took all 4 kids with me on this one, good one for the kids, not too tricky to find.
As we came back from the nippers sydney water carnival we decided to go up this way from wingdang, we made the right decission because we found manny caches around mt keira.
I found this with the arkaroo, i was the person to find it.

Je me rappelle bien: une fois, on avait célébré ici la fête de Noël de l'Association Française de Wollonong – bien sûr avec un bbq!
Today, there was similar muggle around - see photo!
Actually, I really was after the beautiful geocoin from Canberra (TB180CF) which may accomany us for our Christmas holidays upcoming soon. Suparki12 spotted immediately the container and we sat down at the table to log and take a few shots before heading further to our visitors, Christian and the "Original Stash Geocoin" (TB10F8T).

Straightforward find. Ethel the Aardvark on GPS decided that The Snooty Fox had been getting all the finds, so she left the cluesheet behind and started searching in the wrong spot. When The Snooty Fox went back to get the cluesheet, she quickly moved to the right location and conducted a search that had the cache in hand before The Snooty Fox was back with the sheet. Quickly signed the log while watching the motorbikes zoom past, and then we were back on the road.
A find whilst out on a caching run with Black Bunny and Just a Cacher.
Thanks for the cache! Sorry it's taken so long to log this.

Out for a very long caching day with Candy Cane 101 and Black Bunny. Black Bunny was feeling in need of caching run, so Candy Cane 101 and I agreed, just to make him happy, of course! We started around Bowral, and quit at dusk somewhere around Wollongong. It WAS going to be a two day adventure, but we couldn't find anywhere to stay. We then bought chicken and chips, ate it in the dark in a park, and then drove back to Canberra, arriving well after midnight. A long, long day, but Black Bunny went to bed with a smile on his face.
Quick find. Thank you.

TFTC! Loggin alot today, so sorry theres no spcific message about the cache, but I really do enjoy every cache I find
On the trip back home from a caching road trip to the gong with GeoJackCo, was raining when we got down the so gave up and went for a quick toe dip at the beach and a nice lunch at the Hideaway Cafe (I think thats what it was called).
Had looked at google earth so had a rough idea of where it was, so left the dying GPS in the car. Took about 15 mins still haha. Took shell, left something I can't remember. Endian coin still there. TFTC!

Drive past this place all the time, but I've never actually stopped there.
Great spot for a picnic (it's a shame you can't camp there).
Left Endian geocoin, took nothing.

Our eighteenth cache on a trek from Geelong to Wollongong. We have seen some lovely areas around Wollongong, and this is certainly one of them. Wet leaves overhead meant that we more circled in on it, and Jinky went to it! Left a smilie, TNSL. TFTC!
nice easy find. a nice picnic area nearby. unfortunately didnt stop for a picnic. took Geocoin AOA1WY
found in the early hours of the Anzac day holiday whilst dodging crazy keen cyclists going up THAT hill!.
really nice spot. wish I had the geokids on this one.

We were down in the Wollongong area for the weekend so did a bit of caching while we were here. We parked quite close to GZ and made our way quickly on foot. After reading the cache description we were a little hesitant as we had a bad experience with leeches recently - but we had no problem this time. Didn't see any echidnas but found the cache easily. Have driven past here a few times withoiut realising what a fab place it is, will be back next summer with a picnic
Me and Toadmiester7 did this one to start off the day. A nice hide close to the road. TFTC
Completed with trusty sidekick Ace7. A nice quick cache. left pin, took SES keyring. TFTC
A quick find governed more by "where would I put a cache near here?" rather than the GPSr GZ which was a few metres out.
Log only, thanks for the hide.

The Kalmlittleexplorers made a late afternoon run to the gong today to gather some baby supplies for the pending arrival of a new explorer in the not too distant future and thought we would gather a couple of caches whilst there. Unfortunately the caching is now restricted to ones fairly close to the car however!
Headed up the big hill in search of a couple of caches and came across this one. Parked in the carpark and had a nice walk across the picnic area, although with all the rain lately the grass could use a mow!!
Had a bit of trouble getting a good lock on the GPSr but using the hint soon had the cache in hand. Lovely area, we will be back to explore more soon.

On a caching adventure with some of the family who had not been caching before. Most stayed in the car for this one but when a cache was to be found we had to keep going.
A great spot we used to picnic here and set off from here bush walking on the ring track. Spent many hours in camp at the girl guide campsite too.

I like caches which are an easy "drive by". I didn't even have to power on the hand held for this one as the car Nuvi showed the way to within 5 metres.
There were no geocoins in the cache.
A nice area.. shame I couldn't stay longer !!!

This was the only one that my GPS would find in this area (it needs open skies). Great park nearby. Dropped off the POW-MIA geo pin. TFTC.
