Thanks to the CO for geochecking my co-ords and getting us into the right position. Well, getting StreetWalkerNZ into the right position - no doubt passersby were wondering what this weird old man was getting up to!Learned some interesting facts while researching the puzzle. TFTC.Had to edit to fix date, logging on a laptop which thinks it's still in NZ.
#24259. It took me a bit and forth before (and reading a past log or three) before I realised where the cache was. It had been replaced back to front. This was good news and bad news. The good news was that the red cap was easy to see. The bad news (which I found out shortly after) was that the "tail" was at the opposite end, and was no use in the extraction process. The knees were a bit creaky as we were getting towards the end of our first full day in Adelaide, but they did the job and I was soon fumbling for the cache. After signing the log I replaced it the other way round (so hopefully the tail is of use to the next finder). TFTC.
In town with CaptainVimes for a work event (hers, not mine) and to find a few caches. Very happy to avenge a 7 year old DNF herr. Thanks for the cache Freddo
Leap Day has arrived!Today myself, loci612, Muppet95 and pantspeople teamed up for a whole day of fun! With the mega event opening up at 10am, we decided to spend the morning cleaning out the city as much as we could.8-12pm was on foot walking around the city, successfully finding two webcams, more virtuals + ECs than we could count and whatever physical caches we could grab on the way!Afterwards, we spent some time at the mega venue doing all the labs + getting goodies & refreshments to get out of the sun for a while! The afternoon was spent driving from street to street picking up as many epic caches on our list as we could, caching until we were exhausted! Thanks to all the COs-This CacheUsed Method B to work out this cache, and swung by the final coordinates whilst in the city today! I was quite amused that the container had a lick of spray paint, that matched the spray paint on the wall nearby I also enjoyed the retrieval for this cache, could almost do with another terrain point!Signed dsd or ABThanks for the cache!
Found during a somewhat spontaneous and impromptu trip to Adelaide for 'The Great Leap Forward' Mega Event. Made the most of the unique opportunity and had a very memorable experience! Teamed up with Loci612, DARKSIDEDAN and pantspeople. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to the game.A quick find in the inconspicuous spot. TFTC

Loci did the retrieve. We used method B for the solve. Signed as PP, and found with L612 and DSD and muppet95. Good fun. Got it in the right position afterwards. Cache in good nick. Southern Autumn adventure Day 25. Blackwood SA trip Day 6. Today joined up a few chores and of course caching. First to North Adelaide for supplies and a few train caches. Next back into the city to try a few of those pesky caches that were too busy yesterday and while I am at it, head to the south east corner of the city try for a few more to make the day really long and worthwhile.
I came past here yesterday, but with people walking up and down and some artists at work, I decided to give it a miss. Today it was no less ungainly to access, but at least I did not have an audience. I even managed to sign it and replace it without dropping anything, or me ...

Well that ruined my streak for this afternoon. I was going so well, right up to this one...
After a DNF here from 05/2022 it was great to head back here during my lunch break today and turn that very sad blue face into a happy yellow one.
Freddo, thanks so much for replacing this cache AND all of the caches you maintain out there. Caching SA owes you a huge debt of gratitude for the part you play in Geocaching

Out for a lunchtime walk with weredunn4 today, oh okay, and targeting a couple of caches.
This being one of them .
Weredunn4 is a previous finder of this cache, so knew my calculated coords were correct…….yet we couldn’t find the prize at all.
Looks like this one may have been muggled and sadly I have to register a DNF

Wow what a great weekend I just had; a very nice weekend trip to Adelaide with the family and I got to meet a few cachers as well. Absolutely enjoyed Adelaide, the walk around town, the people, the laid-back environment, the layout of the area, the friendly cachers and the great caches too.
Took me a few attempts at some caches just to get to know how that particular cacher thinks about his/ her hides. It was a great experience finding caches in town with some really fun and unusual hides. I am sorry I do not remember all the hides, but Adelaide is definitely a place I want to come back and visit again.
My first morning and it is walk out and around from where we are staying. Maddie decided to come with me and I love it when we cache together. This was our next cache and after a few labs and a virtual Maddie was done for the morning. We needed to get ourselves into a better position. Thanks for a fun cache and the creative hide.

Needed to get out for a walk at lunch in the CBD, so made my way to this cache. As I neared GZ I could smell fresh spraycan paint, and the gentleman doing the artwork was oblivious to my presence (possibly high on fumes?) as I made the find.
After I got myself in the right position the cache was extracted - brilliant hiding spot - this was a fun retrieve - fav point for the location of this one!

Was in town for a medical and after that was over had to find a cache or two. This was the first one, had been to GZ before but was not sure enough of my suspicions to make that final step up. Had been informed that my suspicions were correct so came back today and with an available mini levitation device that put the step up within safety limits quickly had cache in hand.
Thanks to Freddo for putting this cache here for me to find

I had a bit of time in the CBD this morning before an eye appointment so set about collecting an eclectic mix of Lab, Mystery, Whereigo, Virtual and Earth caches. Apart from when I cut through the Central Market (and took the time to purchase some empanadas while there), most areas were relatively muggle free which made for a comfortable caching experience. I had this one solved some time back but when I'm in the area I'm either in a suit (which isn't the most appropriate attire for retrieval), or someone's hanging about the area. Today I had my best shorts and thongs on. TFTC
Out with Sir Spectre, mogni and JJ52 to find some caches north of the city. A great day weather wise and good company. TFTC Freddo
I remember starting to solve this puzzle about 2 years ago. I never remember finishing it. Work started a major project and i had my hours increased to about 70 a week. I do have a complete list of the answers. So given where this final is, it was targeted as we where passing through sunday morning. Found with the help of a previous finder. It would of taken me a while to look there with out the upgraded hint.
A group of cachers banded together to go out and have some much needed laughs ( and find a few caches ) now that the covid 19 restrictions are slowly winding back. Those cachers where sir_spectre, Mogni, Allister W, and JJ52. All logs today where stamps with the new " JAMS " stamp. The target today was to get a wherigo for this calendar month for sir_spectre, a multi on this calendar day for mogni and as many " REEL " caches as could north and east of the city. Any other caches where a bonus as we passed. Some caches found today one or more of the party had found, some one or more of the party had solved but not found, even 2 puzzles were jet skied. Again thanking BFE for mentoring through some of his puzzles found today.

A caching day was organised with sir_spectre, mogni, allister w and JJ52 heading out to the badlands targeting some BFE caches with a few others that we happened to be passing where one of us had solved the puzzle or had previously found the cache. We stamped all the logs with the new stamp "JAMS". [^]
I had previously solved (and found) some of the puzzles, but there were quite a few that I must now solve when I can sit down for a period of time to devote to those puzzles. Quite a number of BFE puzzles I had already found so was able to help in some instances with the finding of the cache. It was interesting revisiting some of the caches that I found in 2014.
On a beautiful day for caching we had a fun time and found lots of caches as we zig zagged around the north eastern suburbs.
I had looked at this puzzle previously but because of the terrain and knowing I would never be able to retrieve the cache by myself I didn't get back to it. Now that it is found that's one for the to do list.
Thanks for the cache Freddo.

This one was missing when we were last in the city. Seeing it had been replaced we detoured to GZ on our way to dinner and husband made the nice find. There has been a very jazzy silver paint job since our last visit, quite spectacular. Inked our name in the virgin log book and then headed to the Playford for a lovely dinner.
TFTC Freddo this one helps with a challenge I am trying to complete. A nice golden oldie.

Back with the geohusband tonight for date night in the city. He made a thorough inspection but the location did not yield a cache or a stick. TFTH Freddo the Frog will watch with interest.
So now I have success at WP1 but not confident of retrieval at GZ will need to enlist help of a spotter or return with the ladder. So close!!
WOW, we would not like to be trying to retrieve this cache any time that could be considered muggle heaven. We used method B. This is certainly another cache that I would not have been able to retrieve without hubby, I am really feeling short today. The right position, yep, you certainly need that or you are never going to place you name in the log book. Just after hubby returned to a normal position one of our hard working boy in blue drove by, so pleased he was down at the time.

Started working on this one ages ago and decided to take a route I knew well and quickly got something in the right position. And there it sat for a long time. Yesterday I was in the area at lunchtime and decided to work on stage 2. Struggled for a while, and after a nudge, got something in the right position and found the odd one out, but something here was not in the right position. So a quick call to an amphibian to sort this out and then the stars aligned and something was in the right position again. But I had run out of time so into the TBF queue till the right moment.
This morning I was heading to a Christmas breakfast and was way early so decided to stop and make the find of a few CBD caches while it was relatively muggle free. Reached GZ and spotted something in the right position immediately. Got myself in the right position and retrieved a well hidden cache. Signed the log and replaced. This cache is back in the right position with a smiley covering the spot.

I have been sitting on the final coordinates for this cache for a while now but had no luck after a few attempts at gz. However, after a nearby event I had a hint from a fellow cacher as to where I was meant to be looking. Once at gz i had to dodge a few muggles before the cache was in hand, the log signed and cache returned.

Damn Freddo!
On my way to a near by event today and I popped in to collect this one, the obvious spot for a cache is not where I thought it was, as a fellow cacher walked past a hint was given and the cache was soon found T2 yeah right!

Headed down to the big smoke for the Begin You quest for Hidden Creatures Event. Arriving early I met up with mogni who had the same idea. So we headed off to find a few caches until event time. Then afterwards I teamed up with Blackadders and Mrs. SA Sewer Rat for some more caching.
Six months later and I again found myself balancing in the right position. This time my aim was arrow straight and I had the cache in hand. If anyone cares used method B. I really should try go to A someday.
**Thanks Freddo for this cache. **

This was my fourth visit to this 'site' after many unsuccessful searches...
Visit 1 was very close to GZ, but I had a digit wrong from the puzzle that made my search pointless. A reach out to the CO allowed me to see my error, found the right answer and corrected.
Visit 2 spent 40 min searching all around the place, but could not locate. Again, I needed some help from the CO who told me where it should be located.
Visit 3 wasn't my fault this time, and the cache was missing. The environment helped to contribute to this one. Sigh, this cache started to become my nemesis cache.
Visit 4 today was the one. When the CO had confirmed it had been replaced and a recent find, as well as having the knowledge to where it should be, I quickly located. Those added hints should definitely help future cachers also!
Had used the analytical method to locate this cache. I did grab some old maps of the old beeline bus, but still was hard to find out the exact crossover answer. Knowing GZ, I guess I could see what was a plausible response. Having a checker would have helped with this one also - I do like the geochecker to minimise wasted time!
Cool puzzle nonetheless and quite the hide. Thanks!

In Adelaide for the Ice Hockey, Melbourne Ice beat Adelaide Adrenaline again last night, and last time I was here I DNF'd this cache. Time to make it right and get the find. I was able to find in a place I did look last time, makes me feel a little better. Thanks for the cache, and the puzzle Freddo.

I think this is my fourth time here after firstly having incorrect coordinates (searched a little close to GZ), and twice searching myself unsuccessfully. Thought I would return after getting information from the CO to where it should be. As previous cacher brisal5 pointed out, found a stick, but not much else. Think it is missing unfortunately
What a great day/night adventure. Left home at 3.30 p.m and got back home at 5.00 a.m. the next day. In between visited a plethora of caches, an event and watched a total eclipse. Certainly a once in a blue moon adventure. Oh yeah, there was one of them too. [:o)]
The first part started with me picking up Anymules after work and caching our way out to pick up Mrs. SA Sewer Rats. [8)] That done we cached our way to pick up Black Adders. Now it was time to cache our way to the event. For most people that would have been a great night's caching. Luckily we weren't most people and so we set off from the event in search of more caches. [:X]
Bugger, bugger and bugger. Despite it being 2.30 a.m. there are just no close parks. So finding one I walked to GZ with three previous finders. No body about I perched myself in the right position and had a feel. Aha I grabbed it and pulled out a STICK! Despite a thorough search me thinks this has dropped either forwards or behind. I will have to come back after the owner checks. Bugger. [:o)]

I think I was in the right position. I found a fake spider. And there was something on the end of a stick but I couldn't quite reach it and don't have my usual TOTTs. Then I noticed the security camera. TFTH. Next time I'm in town, I'll revisit it
Meh, I dunno if I was at the right location or not, doesn't really matter as I couldn't find the cache! Hahaha! That's just the way it goes and thus the DNF log.

After attending the GSAK event it was decided that a small group would go caching.
This was our first one on the list.
I had worked this one out awhile back.
The Blackadders, SA Sewer Rats, Doctor Owl and Anymules met at GZ.
Mr Snake was elected to climb the ladder and make the find.
Lucky for us there were only a few muggles about. TFTC

After the GSAK event the Freddo caches just kept on coming! Owl still had an hour to kill before picking raven up at the stage door, though finding a correctly positioned car park ate up a fair percentage of the time. Fortunately Blackadders was ready and willing with the ladder and soon had his hands on the cache. A good find on a thankfully quiet night, though a couple of passing muggles must have wondered what was going on!
It was the end of a great event so what better plan to end the evening than to go and find a cache placed by the Event host. As an Owl had around an hour to waste before picking up a raven it was decided to try for a cache that would be difficult in the busy muggle daytime. Finding a nearby "legal" parking spot seemed harder than solving the puzzle but a couple were eventually found with a longer than expected walk to GZ. One must think of a muggle excuse for carrying extendable legs in the city late at night. None the less after a Rat and Owl started at each other thinking hmm who is going to do the deed, the Snake was up slithering around for a container. A likely object was found and retrieved. With a couple of muggles passing by whilst signing the log they must have thought us barmy but the Log signed a TB dropped off by the Owl and the cache returned. After all tools were put away we were challenged and questioned as to our actions..... nah its Ok , Just Anymules checking up on us. TFTC Mr. Freddo even on such a cold drizzly evening.

Not being the 'sharpest knife in the drawer', I was thankful to be in the company of others who had done the hard work...
A short stroll, a short search, found the cache, stamped the log and returned... I could at least off moral support...
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Freddo...

At long last, Found It!!!
This was one of the first puzzles I attempted when I started finding Adelaide's caches back in March 2011. I started with method A, dug up the history and found the cross over point but no physical tag was found. Then in July 2011 I did a bit some bus spotting of my own and TheUMP opened up a path for method B. Now how many leap years been 1910 and 2003? Why does the wiki not tell you about Ivan's family? And what on earth is a 'Beehive Year"? With some help from the frog the answers were found and GZ was revealed.
But GZ turned out to be one of the busiest places in Adelaide. I still remember coming here with the Kelly Gang several years ago on a Saturday afternoon to find it getting 're-decorated' in broad daylight. One has to wonder just how thick the paint is on that surface now. Then the great re-development of the nearby building begin and the cache was put behind a fence for a year or two...
Since then, I have visited GZ several times. One of those times I got up on the rail but due to a case of "Tardis cache blindness" I didn't see the cache. Today I was driving past to and it happened to be one of the biggest public holidays of the year. If you just ignore the church across the road, there was no one else around. So I climbed up on the rail, had a quick look and thought "there's no cache here". Confused, I grabbed the nearby stick to poke around with and the cache turned out to be attached to the end of it!
Coincidently, this also turned out to be my 600th puzzle cache find. When I started this cache I had only found 40 puzzles (on YP). It took just over 5 years, but this cache is finally done. And I don't think I had anything in the right position at any point of this journey...

Day 53 of "consecutive days with finds". Found four caches in city on Australian Day, and all of them were Freddo's caches. This was the first one.
"J" tried the Method A to solve the puzzle, but unfortunately, Beeline B is no longer operating. "I" still remembered the 99B and 99C lines, but couldn't recall details such as "where the route crosses itself". We found a very old version Adelaide Metro brochure at home, but we failed to find the waypoint.
Then "J" switched to Method B. Questions have been answered, and we got the final cords in hand. She went by GZ a few times by herself, but thought that it better be "I" who perform this task.
We went to GZ a couple of weeks ago, "I" did what should be done, but couldn't make the found.
During a recent geocaching event, we confirmed with the cache owner, that the final cords are correct. We were checking in the right place, but need to search harder.
Today is a good day to find this one. Morning in a public holiday made the found easier. Container was there, and covered with dust. What a nice hide! That was the hint talking about. We signed the new log book. Poor little log book was hidden there for over eight months, before we wrote something on the first page.
Thanks for the cache, Freddo. Interesting puzzle, great hide!

I got up on the rail but no cache was found. So either:
1. The cache is gone.
2. Mr Tardis' cache blindness is contagious and I've somehow caught it...

Now I'm wondering if one of those guys did climb up there after all, to see what I had been doing?
Retrieved the cache and took it home for some TLC. Back soon.
Interesting note on the last page of the log book.

Friday night and JJ52 and Ismartis said they could tolerate caching with me, so after having a nice tea at Vasuarina at Marion we headed out.
JJ52 pulled the plug about 12.30am , Ismartis got dropped home about 3am [|)] and I got home about 5.45am.
All up I found 12 caches but a few of those had been on my 'I really want to find that cache' list for quite some time, so it was a good night! [^]
I drove past and GZ was deserted at about 4.15am.
Parked, wandered back with the magic geo tool and then almost chickened out! Have I said I don't do heights[?]
Since there was no one else around, it was up to me and so up I went.
Thankfully the cache was spotted quickly but retrieval took a while as there is only so much room, up in the rarified atmosphere, for free play to make sure you are getting something in the right position!
Had to descend to sign the log, then up again to replace it.....at which point 4 young men came and sat right under me.
There was simply no way to get my geotool and I out of there without being seen
One of the young men came and asked what I was doing with the geotool and I think he thought I was graffing, since he then asked if I had any spray left, then he asked about pens and finally he asked about drugs[?]
I told him I worked in community corrections and drugs would cost me my job, so after that he didn't ask any more questions Well, he didn't ask me if I still worked there
Hopefully after its recent rebirth, this cache is not compromised after last night. I'm glad I don't have to come back here again now, as there seems to be drama each time that I do!

I just love finding "unloved" caches!
Last find was in 2013 so 13 months between finds.
Being a lazy person it was easier to find the website with the now defunct Beeline bus route on it, than work out all those numbers!
Recent logs made me think the cache may be gone and a quick call to the CO confirmed it had not been replaced as access to the area had been blocked. But today the path was clear. At GZ I elevated and my first thought was that it had gone into the "abyss" but a shape in the darkness made me squeeze my fingers in. A tip of something was felt and eventually I managed to retrieve the cache
The log had finds back to 2005 so this is clearly the original one. Back from the pit!

Unfortunately we had to DNF this one today, especially with the young teens about wanting to do their 'artwork' and were getting frustrated with us hanging around!!
Even though we saw all the dnf's we decided to have a look anyway....of course we dnfed too hahaha
What a fantastic way to end Christmas Day![^] Out caching with friends!
Even better when we got a FTF on a BFE cache even though we didn't have any coords for GZ, just a Mr 3LG hunch that the cache may be in a HUGE area. So we decided to spend an hour or so just looking......then found the cache within 2 minutes of our arrival....talk about a reel fluke!
Following this highlight we had a downlight when we got STF (but FTL ) on a GCA cache after a great walk with one of the CO's in the Pirran Pipe.
Later at another GZ, Mr 3LG had guessed at another GZ location and hide, so yet another puzzle cache was locus cache'd without having GZ coords!
The sad part of my night was my DNF due to the loss of the cache down into the gaping maw of the crevasse it was hidden in
Finally a previously muggled but now replaced multi was also found......
All of this was also a very funny experience for me because when the family and I had left in a rush this morning to head to Onkaparinga Hills for Christmas lunch, I had forgotten to put my GPS into my bag
An oversight only discovered when muggle partner dropped me at earthlight's so that she and I could head to 3LG's for the night's caching trip!
I was going to finally get this cache, after having visited GZ once before with earthlight for a DNF as we were neither fo us brave enough to do THAT!
Tonight, Mr 3LG was offering his services as a monkey and I accepted the offer....however this monkey's grasp was slippery and the cache fell through the back door and into the abyss
I believe that 3LG and I are working on a replacement of similar size so hopefully it will be replaced very soon, maybe even before the CO returns from his journey.
Our apologies for the loss of the cache but we think that the fact that the 100 mile an hour tape was exhausted and let go at a mere 3inches a minute was really to blame! [xx(]

I dragged earthlight out very early to go and see some episodes of McCleods Daughters at Channel 9 so we lost half the day to start with before we could commence to locus caches.
Once we started caching, I scored 15 smileys with 5DNFs (for a variety of reasons) then we had an early night and I was home by 8.45pm
We came, we saw fencing blocking our way, we chickened out at climbing past fencing on such a busy Sunday and so we left.
Not really a DNF but more a did not even start to look!

As the Beeline no longer exists, does the new connector service go past the same crossover point?
There is a free service that goes past the old cross over location.

Honeysucker had done the hard yards then Scoobster did the acrobatics and I signed the log after talking to the CO as we found it. TFTC.
this took quite a bit of juggling juggle this juggle that jump this then jump that pull tis pull that and a nice picture was painted and a cache was found
Well this was an adventure and a half.
After gathering 90 percent of the required numbers and after doing some bus spotting for another cache, I finally had the final number for that damned bus.
Today was the day to pick this one up because Mr Tardis was on his caching-bike after visiting the Pub Lunch event.
I rode to GZ and my heart sank because there was fencing erected around GZ making it inaccessible - well so the fencing-Nazi's thought.
Fortunately being on a bike was an advantage as there was a platform not fenced off that can easily be reached by standing on a bike (not the first time I've done this for a cache mind you).
I earned the terrain stars getting up to the required place (thanks to the hints) and retrieving the container. Signed the log and replaced without too much drama. Then the excitement came, after getting ready to jump off the platform onto the ground (i.e. the easy "safe" bit), one of my shoes got stuck under the bottom rail.
It turns out Newton was right with all that equal and opposite force mumbo-jumbo as I flew backwards and hands and shoulders landed hard on the pavement followed by one leg, and then followed by the other leg which is now an inch or two longer after being pulled by my bodies mass time acceleration.
Fortunately no-one noticed that a guy wearing business clothes just finished climbing a structure, and then falling flat on his back. Someone could have made some money if they filmed it and sent it into Funniest Home Videos.
The only injury was my pride - thankfully didn't even rip my trousers.
Signed the log. Thanks for the adventure Freddo.
PS: You might want to check GZ to see if it requires a note on the cache with the fencing erected.

In the words of Austin Powers 'Oh do beehive'
I camped on the crossroad of the buses a while ago and looked for the odd one out. The only odd one out was me and since I didn't have a clue I gave that plan away.
After some recent bus spotting I saw an opening to attempt the second method and lo and behold I found some (slightly incorrect) numbers as beehive corner existed well before the beehive was erected. Also my oldest bee line record was out by a few years. After using the 'phone a friend' lifeline I knocked off another 5 years and came up with a very likely looking GZ.
Once there with my height and perceived agility a well hidden cache container was soon in hand.

Yippie Ki-Yay!
After two attempts (one half-hearted, and one more serious) at method A, I decided to flirt with method B last night... and to my surprise I had the solution in 30 minutes! . The biggest hurdle was the "Initial Beeline bus year", I was going around in virtual circles ... pardon the pun (oh, I crack myself up!).
Speaking of hurdles, in my enthusiasm at gz I almost hurdled over the edge, something which got the heart rate going!!! Easy find and retreival once in position. Collected at 2:45pm without creating much of a disturbance.
TFTC Freddo the Frog. SL and slunk away thinking about how I would have explained the face plant over the edge had momentum carried me that little bit further.

EsromL and I started on this one some months ago using method A. After some research, we made a couple of extensive searches of the Beeline B crossover point, but weren't able to locate the waypoint tag. After conferring with the owner, confirming that we were in the right spot and getting some missing information we proceeded to the next part of the challenge. It took another three visits to get a muggle-free opportunity to finally grab the cache. Even then we had to dodge security guards with dogs, police officers and traffic. Turned out that it was exactly where I had earlier suspected after reading the various logs and hint and our initial reconnaissance, which was encouraging. Cache was removed fairly easily, but had to be replaced very hastily - I do hope I got back OK (will check again). All in all, a lot of fun. Thanks Freddo for a very challenging cache.
Finally found this one early in the morning with e.gregory1. This has taken us a while, and many visits, to solve and find. In the end e.gregory1 had to do the climbing and use his height to get it while I kept a lookout. Thanks Freddo for the cache.
Really dissappointed not to be able to look for this one, having solved it months ago in preparation for our trip to Adelaide. Really enjoyed the puzzle and tickled to solve it by researching all information and old records and files on the net, and was keen to see if could find it the other way too, as despite the one factor being obsolete, figured we had enough information to be able to go to the area, find the tag and follow the route the second way. Unfortunately an unexpectedly busy scedule kept taking us in other directions and just never close enough to GZ to search this one out. But anyway wanted to say thanks for the cache puzzle even though didn't find the cache after all as we learned lots of interesting things about the transport system and the surrounding history of the area. Maybe another visit in the future..

This is one of those caches that has been on the list for ages. It took just as long to wait for a break in the pedestrian traffic, not to mention the hundreds of vehicles that passed while I waited. At least all of these were on a mission. It was the homeless bloke that was hanging around that caused most of the problems - nowhere else to go and all the time in the world to do it. Eventually he wandered off and I grabbed the cache. Maybe 4 o'clock in the afternoon was not a good time??? Thanks Freddo.
I had this one figured out years ago when the beeline buses actually ran but never got around to finding it. Seapig encouraged me to chase this one up and I was riding by today... Bingo

Years have passed since I started this cache, and today, I have finally finished it. For so long, I have had the final waypoint information and have been looking in totally the wrong place.... A catastrophic backup failure of GSAK (I hadn't done a backup since January) saw all infomartion lost, but I knew where to look and who to ask. Today, armed with fresh info and a 'can find it' attitude, the cache was recovered.
Thanks for the patience Freddo!

The pouring rain kept most of the muggles away today and with someone watching out for the odd one or two I was able to fiddle with the blasted thing until I could get it free. First the good news. The cache can now be retrieved and returned without tearing skin off your fingers and knuckles. The container also opens and closes as designed without obstruction. Now the bad news. When the cache was found the lid was being held open by a small wooden frog which had become wedged on the side of the container. As a result of this, the cache could not be removed from its niche. My solution was to snap that stupid frog in half so the lid would close and the cache could be retrieved. This was not an easy thing to achieve with just my finger tips!
So in doing a little maintenance one of the swaps had to be sacrificed, I hope you don't mind.
Thanks for the fun puzzle and challenging location.

If finally found this one today after many years looking at the clues.
I started caching at Cached's Metrofrenzy, a venturer geocaching event, At the time i didn't even know how to turn a GPS on. At the event I only found 2 caches but searched for many more, Inculding 3 steps away from telstra, and this one, without understanding just how difficult they actually were, all I saw was the comparitivly huge number of point they were worth.
I used method A,
I got out the first few numbers almost 3 years ago, then a few weeks back I found a poster that gave me some more, and then on the way to the pub lunch the last few numbers clicked, and after a little working out at home, I was done,
The extraction was the easy part, although I did have to wait a while, I didn't really want to put a cache like that back with the police watching,
Thanks for the journey, I've finally found all the real caches I couldn't find at Metrofrenzy,

I must admit, that it was not very gentlemanly of me, but in the end anja grabbed the cache, and passed it down to me. I was nice enough to catch her as she stumbled off the railing whilst coming back down though, so not all grace was lost
Thanks for the great cache, though it scares me that people find places like this, and manage to contort a cache into there
Took nothing, left my battered pride, signed log

Last of 13 for the the evening caching with Robmc and Chewinpickles from Victoria.
Robmc and Chewinpickles had plotted spot for tag, but I'd gone the problem solving route and had a solution. Muggles may think cachers are strange, but there are some other forums I'd put forward to dispute that
Found the spot and then had to get the cache into the right position for removal from its hole.
Nice to find a cache with a log book nearly three years old and still plenty of room to write in
Spotted no trams nor buses at GZ, but numerous taxis kept going by so we had to use some stealth just prior to midnight.
