As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
not sure when I will be in Canberra next, but I will try and get it replaced ASAP
Not there, was certainly at GZ, and whilst all three of us looked, no cache to be had. Previous logs suggest muggling is highly probable?
Poor litte cache had been pulled apart again. I live right near this cache and it has been very windy on the hill. Needs new log book. TFTC
As I found what remained of this cache ADAcache said that I should log it as a find - although not a happy one. TFTC
Found the spot and found the cache contents spread on the ground. I will try to contact the owner to return log and contents.
I too had found the cache contents spread around although nothing was damaged. Put it all back together again and didn't think much of it. Obviously someone thinks they are very clever. TFTH
Thanks ADAcache, lovely view. Took nothing, left Pokemon stickers & Simpsons card.
Cazbol and I wandered up here to admire the views - very nice!!

Fond this one while out to get a few for the afternoon so didn't pause too long for the views here.

This was my 72nd find, but my first find close to home - the rest of my finds were done either on the way to, or at the Oz Mega Event in Wagga. Very happy to find an ACT cache so close to home, hopefully the first of many.
Great views from up here. TFTC.

After looking at some lonely shrubbery Cat!!! & Ta-da!! & I came over using HPV's to sample the view. A side trip came up with the cache. TNLN. TFTC.
Scooted up the hill to the GZ and once SciHacker found the cache we enjoyed the view.
I dropped off my two cute erasers from One Shrub Hill and swapped for a Dora Explorer figurine.

Managed to get this one right and take the easy way up, and the fun way down on the bike today.
Found with Moneydork, Rediguana, Tofska, and Pohutukawa on our road trip to the Wagga Mega event.
Enjoyed the view.

A nice reserve and walk uphill after lunch. Cache was found fairly quickly. Cheers Gav [5088]
Could not see this one initially but was quickly found by Geoson. TNLN TFTC. Johnboy2 and Maths Genius. Log still needs replacing.
Have ridden up this hill so many times. Always a great spot to stop and take in the view. TFTC
I decided to look for this one during a 9pm walk with the geohound. With the torch in hand, and after selecting the correct mapset (the previous one had me out by more than 100 metres), I found it quite easily. Thanks to whoever left a sheet of paper in the logbook to enable recording of the find... unfortunately the logbook is now in desperate need of replacement The 'View from a Hill' certainly lived up to its name, even at night! I took the yellow and black coloured spring and left a golf ball.
This is a part of Canberra I don't visit often. Takes the lure of a cache to get me here, then the wind and the rain almost blew me back southside. The weather prevented me from staying long enough to appreciate the view. Maybe next time. TFTC
On our cache round-up in Gungahlin. The weather was threatening and we managed four seasons in a few hours. Hah! This is my kind of hill! The rain hunted us back to the car pretty quickly though. TFTC
Found with Geoson today. Left long burning candle, son took a "go" sign. Cheers and TFTC!
a nice stroll up the hill to this one. A quick find by Mrs Bunny to SL, then off again. TFTC
Logbook needs to be swaped out.... running out of space on the cardboard backing....
Boy oh boy that was 150 metres of serious puffing. Once at the top, and thank goodness for it, easy find with 1 muggle out of sight by the time I got there...
#231: Found with linFox. We parked on the other side of the mountain since the street was higher up, but it ended up being the steeper side.
Easy find after Go Go Gulp and first chance to get the lungs working on today's little jaunt. Nice views from here.
Log book is pretty much full for those of us annal enough to feel the need to sign the log in chronological order. There are a few blank / half-blank pages in the middle but technically not a lot of room left at the end!

Found while visiting relatives in Canberra. Couldn't resist doing a few caches here. TFTC
Mercury Prawnheads bad foot had me heading up the hill myself and tho I slightly misled myself, I did enjoy the view and then nabbed the cache.

Dusk.
The lights are just starting to come on and the cold is seeping through into my bones.
We found the cache and appreciated the view of all the little smiley faces down below.

Catching up on my logs =S
After running around all day, we were kind of ignoring views. But I hadn't been caching in so long that I was more eager to find heaps!
Thanks,

Up the hill and we really should look about as we get a bit carried away and just dash from cache to cache. Trillian I reckon we should look at the view sometimes.

The day was drawing to a close as I came up the hill. The GPS put me in the middle of nowhere, with nowhere to hide a cache for 6-7m in any direction. I turned slowly on the spot and headed for the most likely candidate. Fortunately it was the correct one and I was able to make a quick find.
Got to GZ via the steep part and soon arrived at GZ.Great views of the vista's and and a great spot for a cache. Thanks to ADAcache for the well placed cache.
A lovely early morning stroll. We walk this hill regularly, and are new to geocaching so good reason to drag ourselves out of bed for a morning walk.

The log book is now on the back cover. I now carry spares for such an event - but left them in the car. TFTC.
A nice 5km round walk from home with geotoddler and dog. A quick and easy find, and lovely views of the area. TFTC.
A morning walk with the geodoggies around our new home meant we were able to get this cache. Great view - especially for the fireworks on New Years. TN, L - Brass D-Clip. TFTC
Bit of a tough hike in the heat, but the view was well worth it! Kinda wished I'd brought myself a chair so I could relax in style while taking in the view.

When logging in this cache this morning I took up the last available space in the log book. Requires replacing ASAP, as it seems to be a well visited cache.
Yep not a bad view! We had a look despite slogging all around the area below in the afternnon heat.
Thanks indeed

We did all the important stuff (finding and logging) before we went to look at the view. Not a bad view it was either. We could see where we had been caching all day.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Had a ball finding my first cache with Pinksmurfette, I have a feeling this will be the first of many for the both of us. Can't wait to get out and look/find some more.
This hill has been affectionately called the Hill From Hell with friends as we like to ride up and then enjoy the view once we get there. So it was the perfect first cache for me to look for. I took another geo-newbie out on this horrid windy day figuring there wouldn't be any muggles about, and Flipper and I are now both hooked. Thanks for the cache
A quick walk up the hill with Ju, mr_roo and the Geohounds and the cache was in hand. What a view from the top, you don't feel like you are up that high if you approach the cache from the side we did.

After finishing a cache today with jusojara ja saw we were close to this one, so we thought why not go for it. A quick search and we had the cache in hand tftc
My seventh find and last of a day out caching with the geohound. We made our way up the hill and found the cache relatively easy. Signed the log and then went and sat on the nearby bench and enjoyed the view for a little while. Great views of the Gungahlin area.
I decided to call it a day when the geohound didn't want to go near the car. I thnk she was tired of getting in and out of the car at each cache.

We can see our house from the bench. The cache is in good condition.
Took heartshaped cookie shape and left Olympic memorabelia.
Our first find in Australia, it's been ages since we last did this.

We had been out caching with a friend of Jemalong Juniors who lived nearby and was about to return him when this one popped up so we dragged his dad and brothers out of the house for their first caching trip
We were in the middle of the short walk when down came the hail. We sheltered under some trees while I signed the log and the boys search the contents for "cool stuff"
It was all very exciting a box of treasure so close to home and found in the hail.

Managed to find this cache on the final day of our return leg from sunny (?) Queensland at 8 am.
Wonderful views and a chance to clear the nostrils on a cool and crisp morning in the A.C.T.
Said farewell to the TB that has been travelling with me since March and has been on a great adventure.
Took green whale and left cookie cutter.

Grabbed it in the early hours of mothers day - why were so many mother muggles out walking?!
The log book bag is in need of replacement and the cache lid is cracked. Replaced the container upside down in case it rains....AGAIN
Few muggles sampling beverages at the seat.
Signed the log left my favorite piece....A dice removed a eraser and headed further west.

Nice easy find and then I wandered up to the seat for a really worthwhile view. Thanks ADAcache for putting one here.
Can you believe how many hills there are in Canberra? CSMum and CSDad dropped the kids off at music/sport and enjoyed this walk sans kids. A nice view of an area we don't visit very much. Then off to a nearby park to do a SS-BJC multi...

Carried 3yo son up that ruddy hill on my shoulders! He was excited to find the 'treasure'. I was knackered. Probably should have parked on the other side...
