Made a long walk around Orakei basin plus some extra today, with a nice stop for coffee at a café. Found this on our way.
A quick spot of exercise on New Year's Eve in this beautiful area. The cache was protected by a large arachnid so I had to woman up and make the grab despite my anxiety! TFTC
Nice find thanks! Found with aroha iti! Log book a bit wet though and wants changing.
As soon as I spotted the tree with the clue, I knew I was there, did this tonight after work when it was dark, pity the cache I passed to get here has gone, otherwise I would have got that too, TFTC.
Had a wee search around had to extend search area then finally came up with cache tftc
On a geocache adventure with des and div. Found it after a bit of a wander thru the forest listening to the tui.
Headed out for some holiday geocaching. All 3 of us looked and yes, aptly named branch!
The first cache I've searched for on my own got slightly misled by bush tacks but then found pretty quickly. Pity I forgot to bring a pen...
We live near Kepa Bush so I wanted to check this one off my list. We easily found the cache with barely any fuss or muss. The rest of our hike didn't go so well. We headed off in search of the trail that ends at St Johns Road. It was quite the epic trip with mudslides, saw grass, gorse, and giant moa-sized mosquitoes. After having to backtrack from one dead end, we eventually made it out alive to tell the tale. TFTC!
Took a cross country route the last 50m and, sure enough, I came out on a path. A bit of a search about the cache was found. Thanks!
Found myself heading past this area today so decided to wander down and find this cache. Quite a nice peaceful area, perhaps aside from the train going past every now and then. Surprised myself by basically walking straight to the cache and finding it in the first spot I looked. TFTC!!!
Decided to get out and enjoy the sun....and get some smiley's on my map.
Took a walk in the reserve...approached the GZ and found to young people in love...who I think wanted some "alone time"...but flip....I was not going to leave yet...it took me a while to walk here :-p
So I ducked into the bushes and looked for the cache...took me at least 5 min's...but then found it.
Thanks for taking me to this lovely reserve.....have driven past it many times.
Great cache to celebrate my 500th find.

Great cache to celebrate my 500th find.
the GPS had problem pin pointing and is warping all over the place, took a while to locate the container...
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
There were more steps than we were expecting here, but a nice quick find after a pleasant walk through the bush. TFTC!

Continued along the pathway, and quickly spotted the likely hiding spot for this cache. Lovely day to be out and about today.

Number 2 for the day. We came from Frankly its a Walkway, almost made a wrong turn at the fork in the track but a quick uturn had us back on course and at GZ soon enough. 9yo tried one likely spot while Dad tried another...Dad came up with the goods. Took a geocoin.
Nice spot. Nice hide. No tb. TFTC

Was in the area for another cache in this bush for geo-license, but couldn't pass up doing the others at same time. Enjoyed the walk, was followed for a time by a fantail - without a tail. TFTC
Parked at the parking coordinates listed on Thatcher St and made my way down and then back up to GZ. Great views from the bench seat! My pen decided it didn't want to work anymore so took a photo of the cache and log as proof of finding. TFTC!
Lovely view from the bench near GZ, cache was quickly found, logged and off we went again, tftc

Carried on our wander through here, and soon came across GZ. Had a bit of hunt around for what the description suggested and soon found the likely target. Another quick poke around, and had the cache in hand. Nice spot, TFTC
Nice enjoyable walk through the trees to get to here. Helpful hint meant that we were able to make the find nice and quickly before heading off again. Swapped trackables. TFTC
Nice easy find after work on a Tuesday afternoon. Very pleasant little stroll indeed. TBI, TBO, SL, TFTC.
What a great spot- thanks for bringing us here. Relatively quick find thanks to the hint. Cache was empty as previously mentioned so I added a couple of swag items, a TB and a plastic bag for the replacement log. TFTC!
Refrained from attempting this one because the lookout was occupied by some partying (and yelling) youths. Will return.
Phone GPS going everywhere, Therefore turned to the geo trails.
TFTC also have mosquito spray!!!!

This was my first day out geocaching and my partner's keen eye spotted this one. The container only has a piece of brown paperbag to write on and a small card stating its a geocache. Lovely spot to start the day.
Went for a walk this morning and ended up in this wonderful reserve. I really enjoy caching for this reason. Got to see a wonderful sunrise over the ridge to see the sunlight through the trees. My phone's GPS was all over the place so the hint was much appreciated. I went for the cache at a spot that looked likely. Went for a wander and checked the first place I looked and sure enough it was there. Contents of cache was sparse. Geocache note and a piece of paper bag. Thanks for this cache in a great spot.

A bit of a hunt for this one ! Good chance to introduce my sister, who lives nearby , to geocaching !
Nice view from the lookout.
Found cache and signed alt. log.

Took a wee while to find. As previously mentioned, the cache was empty except for the laminated geocaching card. Not sure whether the container has been changed but the cache found was a not a 500ml screwtop container but a squarish Sistema type. Unfortunately, I didn't read the previous logs before coming out here so didn't bring a spare log sheet and plastic bag. I did, however, find a largish brown paper bag which I tore a strip off and put into the container as a temporary log until Zork is able to check on the cache when in the area. I covered well on leaving. TFTC.
Last for the day, good to get this one after an unsuccessful search for the other cache in the reserve.
Logbook missing so photo uploaded
Lovely view at the lookout - tftc

Found the container. Empty, except for cache info card. No log book, no treats for the kids. TFTC
This one has been muggled iv'e put the container back where i think it was hidden, and covered it.
Found it .... well found what was left of it, muggled i'm afraid. Only the container was left on the ground and nothing else, will notify the owner.
This is one of the best urban parks. Travel off the road just a few hundred metres and you are back to the woods. TB in.
Nice easy find also a lovely walk SLTFTC dropped Trackable

Surprised by muggles who turned out to know a thing or two and helped me look, but I found it first.
Out and about hunting again! This was a good one, good thing I spotted it or could have been here for quite some time! TFTC
Found by 6 yr old. Very happy! Easy find but bush bashed from last cache so rather tired now!! Kids traded marble coin for a key ring and badge!!
Second visit here. This time we'd worked out how geocaching works so a quick find. T4TC
Nice walk in after work today. Initially took the wrong path down the other side of the stream, but soon fixed up. Nice cache location and hide...TFTC
Lovely reserve in the city, very peaceful and quiet (apart from bees and cicadas). Found nice and quickly thanks to the name of the cache which indicated exactly where it could be found. TFTC. Dropped off Freezer Mouse TB.
This cache was an easy find and we took a little break on the seat while witnessing the trains go through the tracks on the opposite side. Ash loved the views from there so we had to stay and admire it, not complaining though

GPS died but had read the hint so still managed to sign the log for a smiley. However, it cost us later on as we completed other caches in the area, and ended up walking around this reserve several times! TFTC
I thought it was about time I did the caches in this reserve-since I have done all the ones around it. Parked in Thatcher street and made my way to GZ. GPS played up initially, taking me in circle away from GZ and back to it. Quickly spotted. Signed the log. Looks like Grandmaandgrandad took the dog tag of TB "Travelling Pebble" but left the pebble behind (chain had come loose). I was hoping to find the other caches in this reserve, but the light soon failed in the bush. I settled for a brisk walk/jog around the rest of the reserve, poping out on the far side of Eastridge for a quiet stroll back to car. A good excuse for some much needed exercise!
Finally we got a taste of new zealands nature searching for this cache. We can't wait to see the rest of it.

Nice Lookout in a nice park. Thank you for showing!

Lovely spot - but no success. Followed GPS and hint both led to a pretty likely looking spot for the cache - nothing there. Might be inexperience taking its toll! Take care looking around with kids as there are possum bait traps near to the spot.
Bit of a bummer as we ran into 3 others looking for it too. My fiancée found it so he's 3-2 for the day.
Made our way along the paths. Selected the right branch and soon found ourselves at a pleasant lookout spot. Followed the hint, and quickly located the cache. Thanks.
TB and geocoin drop.

No problem finding this one once we heading down the right path! I guess we got to look at the other lookouts as well though in our efforts to find the place. Lovely bush, the fantails were following us everywhere. TFTC.
2089 As is often the case, if there is an easy way and a hard way to a cache, we will take the hard way (I think it is Mr G's way of making me push play!) TFTC Zork
Went bush then found the look out and seat then went bush again (from where we came from) and found the cache

Nice bushy walk in the middle of suburbia. Zeroed in on the likely spot pretty quickly once I found the right track to the lookout. TFTC, Biggles.
