Second time here with a clue on where to find it but no luck in the rain
Maybe in daylight and no rain on another day .... just noticed that it is archived - can confirm that it has gone.

Trail06 was with me for a cache run and he had tried to find this one when it was first published.
He was hoping this one would have me stumped for a while but it was quickly seen.

One of those ones where you walk around and around and around again then you look up in dispair and start laughing. tftc
A nice find on a night away to Yorkes. Nice to take our time to cache these ones we usually race past.
Checked all over, then stepped back to have a think, and spotted it.

Not quite what we were expecting, but found without difficulty. Tennis courts across the road looking a bit sad. Thanks for the journey.
As stated by Stormchasers, this has been a long-term nemesis cache but after searching hard, I found it, and I couldn't believe it! Such a good feeling to nail this bloody cache!

We were here back in January 16th, 2006, when we didn't know what a bison tube was. Now with a little more experience we found it. Wasn't where we thought it would be. Great hide, hope it lasts. Found at 12pm.

Claiming a find after replacing the cache. Hopefully the little blighter stays put, will keep an eye on it.
Urgh, that would explain why I couldn't find it. Still, it's a fun concept, and I'm sure The Fonz would approve.
Hi
I've lloked for this one a few times a night and failed to find, I could replace it with a bison tube if you like, if you could pm me with its hide spot I'd be happy to do that.
Cheers Ciril

Seems this one hasn't survived the LWE. It'll be at least august before I can repair, so any volunteer help welcome - but it does have to be the right type of container to work!
Thanks heaps

We spotted shonkylogic searching in vain while passing, and decided to come back to surprise him. Having found it previously, we think it's either missing or crept well away from where it used to be.
First time it was raining so didn't want to hang around. Second time I had been told exactly where to find it... but no cache. Hmmmmmm.
Easy find but had been told roughly where it was so was expecting an easy hide. TFTC
Found on the Swampy + Adrian Mc YP tour.
Almost walked away as we were on a tight schedule but found in the end.

DNF at 4:52 PM.
Must definitely be close to having as many DNF's as finds today.
Checked in all the crevices I could, sun was setting so it was difficult to see every spot. Hopefully when we return in June we will be able to find this one with the assistance of a help line.

Found quite easily - problem - dressed for a funeral... what do I do.. Improvise. Wasnt letting this pass by... Got the cache, the log was full so replaced log with a new one and signed it and off I go.... Nice sneaky hide... Thanks Cached.
It took some searching, but eventually Mr O saw the cache and strained himself to collect it. The log's chockers, so it should probably be replaced. TFTC.
A quick find on a highly unsuccessfully crabbing trip to peninsula. Log needs replacing as it is full.

Twice attemps. Aaaahhhh very trick one. Excellent hide spot. SL. Thanks Cached for organising the cache and hunt.
Found @ 12:15 with our muggle friends, took a combined efforts of the our teams. The logbook still has room for 5 - 6 entries, came this way home to help, tried but couldn't fit more paper in there . Thanks Cached for an interesting stop
I must admit I had given up and was getting in the car to leave then FOUND IT! SL. Thanks!!
KerrNT's first SA micro. Hadn't read the writeup so wasn't sure of the cache size, fortunately have seen a couple of these in Darwin Log book is totally full - didn't have anything to replace it sorry. Thanks Cached FTC [:d]
Using local knowledge on this one - Rocky Glen Grommets drove straight to this spot - took a while to locate but having looked at a photo image certainly assisted us in knowing what we were looking for. Found by RG Mum but needed assistance of Rocky Glen Grom2 to climb to retrieve. Of course, Bob Grom was helping as well. We really enjoyed this cache - very clever and well thought out - thanks to Cached for this one!
Glad we had seen the picture of the container-great hide! But there is only room for about 2 more logs on the very small roll of paper. TFTC
Easy find by Min 2, but we had a little trouble replacing it. Great cache.

On a hot day we set out to have some time in the air conditioned car. Unfortunatly when we reached GZ hogletts were afraid to get out og the car due to a hissing noise. Fortunatly it was not a snake and the hogletts had to get out because unfortunatly the tyre was going flat ( so much for a cool time for me). Had called past previously on a gloomy day with no joy but as the gang had time on their hands sucess was ours at last. Hoglett Mike spotted and retrieved it TNLN TFTC
Thought we were going to the TV studio to watch the show.
Stumped us for a while looked in all the obvious places but no go. AHHHHHHHHH got it. Nice one Cached.

This was cache # 15 of 18 attempted today, on my tour of the Yorke Peninsula. I don't know what a Bison Tube is nor how big one is, and I still don't. There was only one spot that I thought could hold something, but there didn't appear to be anything there.
I didn't want to spend too much time on one cache, so I abandoned the search after a few minutes. Thanks for the cache, Cached. Nicely done.

Found by Barry and Beryl at 5.22 pm after a day at the Paskeville field day, this was our second visit to this site as we had no notes on the first visit we had no idea what we were looking for. We soon spotted the Bison Tube this time and it was the first time we have seen one, it is great. Coordinates are spot on.

A bit tricky in the dark. Luckily some not very vague hints had been given out months ago by a friend and they came back to me at the right moment.Still took a bit of looking to spot it though. Very creative and different. Keeps us on our toes.

Second visit to this trivky little number. Love the Bisen Tube. Cheers for a good cache.
It was on the ground in the dirt so I put it back where I thought is should be, Hope I got it right.
Found after a short look, I now know what a bison tube is, I don't think you could fit a bison in it, so what is it used for?

A good hide found with a little difficulty on the way to a dance in Maitland. At least now we know what a "bison tube" is. TFTC
After an unsuccessful attempt on New Years Eve this year, we returned to this one on another trip to Port Vincent. What a challenge! Were pleased to finally find this one, after receiving a hint from Moses on the Move. What a frustrating, but clever hide! Thanks!
Big challenge from friends saying they did not think I would get this one.
Looked hard for thirty minutes, had a coffee, thought for 5 minutes and sure enough there it was.
Thanks for a very clever cache.

Didn't take too long to spot once I read the clues and realised it was a tricky micro. Could just get to it. TNLNSL, thanks Cached.
Oops forgot to log this one from back in April. On our way to Yorkes for the week and this came up not found Can remember the cache thanks cached!
Well done!!!! thanks to the clues we were able to retrieve this easily with stinjali because they had the reach Great idea.
I searched and searched and just couldn't find it but as we turned to go back to the car my tall son saw the cache.Very clever and this short person would never have found it by herself.
We had a wonderful time on New Years Eve at "Happy Days" and after an hour or so of nothing gave up and went into Maitland to visit a horse.
We both decided that it wasn't going to beat us so we went back to "Happy Days" later in the evening and after 30 more minutes of unsuccessful hunting, it was 2007!
Any hint would be handy, but first, what is a "bison tube?

This one had us looking all over the place. Gave ourselves a time limit and found with 2min to spare. Bit of a hybrid between a micro and a nano. Thanks for the challange
Cunning little cache, had us looking around a little, if it wasn't for the torch and a bit of sparkle I think we might still be looking. Our judgement very clever hide.

We had been wanting to come past here for a while, having heard the stories. On a jaunt with TDB we spent sometime searching all nooks and crannies. Just as Mr KriKe was getting some persuasive tools from the car Mrs KriKe found the "now you know where it is, it is obvious" hiding spot.
Spotted by Gum-Nut quickly. Just as well as others would have focused on the tribute to Happy Days. Signed log and left happily, having claimed our smallest cache yet.
Not the best of days to go-a-huntin' but we did anyway.
Anne found this no problems. Must have been the expert tuition.
Log is a bit wet but not too bad. Did not see Ritchy anywhere either so continued on to the Red Cliffs.
I used to play tennis here as a kid. Brought back a few memories.

Gaz

We scratched our heads for ages trying to fathom the connection between this and “Happy Days†until we read the plaque. That’s a bit of a reach, don’t you think? . Knowing we were looking for a well-concealed micro and having no idea what a ‘Bison Tube†was, this one nearly stumped us until I did something I hardly ever do – think outside the square [^]. Loved Freddo’s $10 frog. I wonder what the bank will think of that?
Now I know what a bison tube is too. I was given no more than 5 minutes by the 'are we there yet?' team and made it with a few minutes to spare.
Sallymander was asking what a bison tube was. Thomas the tadlet was reading a book. James the newt was playing on the artefact. Freddo was poking around and looking for a little hiding spot. Alice the amphibian said what’s this? Success in under five minutes. Even managed to leave a $10 frog. Thanks guys.
