On a caching safari around the Monarto/ Rocky Gully areas. Tackling some of the wonderful bush caches this place has to offer and with the first warm sunny day in ages much happiness was had by all.
Thanks for the cache!

HavWalker12 & I had a busy day of walking, bush bashing and hiking up hills.
Luckily the hill wasn't too big,
was rather surprised to find that this cache wasn't a CPWanderer cache!
A nice sized cache & an interesting spot.
Thanks for the cache Four-fun

Clare007 & I decided to tackle the very up & down Rocky Gully caches (Murray Bridge end). The day began with a flat tyre & calling the RAA. Had it fixed in 20 minutes then off to the start. It was a beautiful day, just perfect for a big day of walking & caching. Completed 16 caches after wandering 5.5hrs. There were a lot of variety in the caches and the scenery was amazing.
Nice size container. We have been going up & down hills & gully's all day & getting a bit weary by now but we kept on going. TFTC four-fun

A coolish day had us deciding to tackle the hides in the Rocky Gully Conservation Park.
We saw some beautiful wildflowers, several shinglebacks, several hares and rabbits but fortunately no slithery things
Our second find for the day....thanks for the cache four-fun[^][^][^]

Finished the Mega geoart, and now out to Monarto on our second wind. Have just walked the ToaT series, and now turn our hand to this collection. Getting dark and will need torches soon, so a nice quick find.
Thanks four-fun for the cache.

[center]8207. [green] Unfortunately this is the last one before we turn back toward the car. The weather has held off mostly while we've been out here but no use tempting it any further. And the walk back was made easier by using the track beside the train line, which we heard but not saw a train going past on during our journey to this one.

YIPPEE!!
I am still in the area after the SA MEGA and there are a few more caches to find.
I stayed in town to find all of those caches I had missed over the last couple of days.
A big thank you to all of the cachers that have been involved with the MEGA.
This cache was one of many I found during a couple of hours walking around the hills.

We are over here from Western Australia to attend the SA 2014 Mega event and to try for a few smileys. Took a very nice walk this morning along the nearby trail collecting smileys all along the way. We appreciate the effort by the CO in placing this cache hide at this location.
Thanks for the cache four-fun

Nice spot, phew it gets hot quick here, glad it's not the height of summer! Tftc.
Today I was leaving Murray Bridge and heading back home, but not before collecting a few more smileys via a walk in the park. This was a nice and quick find.
My thanks to four-fun for the cache.

Out on a Sunday drive on a beautiful day. After checking out flowering native plants at an arboretum near Wellington, I then travelled to Murray Bridge then onto this area rich in geocaches....and sleepy lizards it seems - saw 10 or so on my walk around the nature park. Left a TB. TFTC four-fun
We finally had a day break from the rain so Darknstormy and i decided to head out on our normal Sunday caching day and talk a nice stroll around Rocky Gully. We were blessed with many different cache types today and i cant say that Ive found 5 different types in one day before.
After 2 and a half hours of bush bashing, hill climbing , rock hopping and walking we returned to the car very happy with what we have accomplished for the day and very happy with the great standard of caches we have found Love the effort and Thanks for bringing us here four-fun

Had these caches on our list for a while, but was waiting for a nice weekend to do them. The sun was shining in Adelaide so we set off just before lunch.
Arriving at the car park the clouds were looming.. But it was warm enough to take the jackets off.
Great 2 1/2 hour walk through the park, only missing 3 caches that were little be further in the distance.. Legs were to tired to get them today. Even got a STF in this park today that was a surprise as we opened the log. It was a day of many cache types.. We had at least 1 of the following - Letterbox, Multi, Puzzle, Traditional, and Earthcache.
When opening this one, I was so exhausted from the walk I dropped the lid, the pencil and the log before I even got my pen out
Thanks for the cache four-fun:D

Nice to find an old cache on the way to our tunnel of love - 6 night time cyclists rode along the path while we at GZ - tried to take a pic with the camera but it was full Thanks 4 the fun Trev from PG
Out with 4 of the 5 today plus 1 newbie. 5 new caches had appeared in Rocky Gully since I was there last and I couldn't think of a better introdution to geocahing than a 10 km hike through this lovely park collecting the now 18 varied and fantastic caches. So some will be new logs for me and some notes that the cache has been checked and okay.
Newbie had no trouble here. And there endeth the intro to Geocacging 101. This cache in good condtion still.

Mr Tardis was on a 10km wander through the reserve with CPwanderer, froghoppin and spidermonkey9 on a lovely Saturday afternoon.
A great sized cache along a very lovely walk. One down - four to go!
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache four-fun.

Found on a group wander around park. Beautiful sunny winters day, lovely park and nice variety of hides and scenery. Thanks for the adventure
Out with some of the usual list of suspects, Aussie M&M, 1/2 of Muff1,and CP. Taking on Rocky Gully reserve and part of the Lavender Federation Trail. What a day. 13 caches within the reserve and 1 just outside. Saw many roos, lizards, great views and even an echidna. Dropped of 8 travellers to entice some others to do the same.
We did this one second, but you could leave it till last and break up the 2.5 km walk back from the final cache to the car park. The loop we did brings you back this way. Nice sized cache quickly found. . Thanks four-fun. Dropped off a traveller. Couldn't find the one supposedly in here.

I have wanted to this one for a while and with a few other cachs in the area is was the time to go for all four.
This was the 2ed in the park and 3ed for the day.

Great trail, enjoyed the walk, didn't think I'd have trouble with mugglers out here but young ones partying near by walking right by me while I'm hiding in the bush with Geocache in hand, don't know how I would have explained it if they'd found me
Nice walk with the family. Quick find. Good size cache. Took blue car, left spikey ball.
Had a lovely walk on a pleasant day. Great cache in a good hide. Love these PVC containers as they are so durable (noticed that Astro Boy trackable has moved on altho he still appears in the log). After signing the log, we headed back to the east and collected a bit of litter on the way. Thanks for luring us into this scenic trail 'Four-Fun', it's well worth the walk.
Re-visited this cache to get part logs for the final cache in the series (Failed to note the numbers on my first visit). Took 2 TB's to get them on the move again as no-one else had been there since I was there last. Again, thanks four-fun.
This seems to be "trackables" mini central. A pleasant walk, though drove as far as I could due to heat of the day. Took a geocoin. Thanks four-fun.
Word to the wise. Don't go bush bashing like we did. Stick to the walking track. If you are going to go on a hot day like today, remember water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Great walk, even if we went up and down, through and over.
Great walk along the federation trail on a hot day..... will remember more fly spray next time. really great spot for a cache...... great views
Note to self dont follow teenagre back to car found cache no worries walked extra 200m because we over shot the car
Nice relaxing walk of just over a km from Start of the Line #2. Saw a train. Geokids quite excited.
L: Echidna T: Japanese Finger Trap

Walked up here from Dungbeetles Den and were rather surprised at how dry the creek was , like it hasn't rained for months [?].
Saw two trains and even some trucks from the nearby quarry.
Lots of birds chirping away as we walked .
Amazed that ours is only the fourth visit here this year.
Took wristband. Left boat. SL.
Thanks Four-Fun.

Thanks to Mrs A’s homework we managed to drive to within 300 m of the cache. We picked up the trail and the cache with no problems. Countryside was looking nice and green and we saw fresh kangaroo tracks and hundreds and hundreds of little ant mounds.

Found after a nearby orienteering run. It was nice to have a reason for a walk through this area, and a chance to look araound instead of running and concentrating on the map and navigation. TFTC.
Skipped this one yesterday, but made this my first stop today. Parked in the car park not far away from nearby Start of the Line #2 and walked in, unlike some! Took emergency poncho. And left neighbourhood watch ruler and KS toy. Find #139 at 11 am.
Enjoyed walk along to the cache and plenty excellent view as well. No swap. SL. Thanks four-fun for organising the cache and hunt.
Finished this series a few years ago without this one. Quick find whilst out training for O.
The cooler weather made for a very pleasant walk along this cache rich section of the trail today. Nice big container, though quite full.

Nice wee walk in the rather warm climate this morning. Easy find. Cheers Gav [1614]
Finally getting around to doing some seriously overdue logging Found with the rest of the kiwis on our way back home after breaking the 'most caches in a day' record. This was a very pleasant walk - luckily not quite too hot yet. We saw a wierd lizard on the road - which I think was a shingle-back lizard - a new bit of aussie wildlife for us.
TNLN, Thanks.
TNLN, Thanks.
Very hot 250ish meter walk to the cache. Could hear but not see mining activity at the nearby quarry. Many thanks.
10:08 Hot walk to this one, mad dogs and cache hunters indeed. TNLN. Thanks for the cache.
An enjoyable walk alongside the railway line before ducking into the bush and finding the cache. Nice spot.
Found a reasonable approach and then enjoyed a walk into gz. Once there the cache was found reasonably quickly. Great to have proper walks in an area different to what I am used to. thanks four-fun for showing me this part of the world. TNLN
Found on our geo-caravaning long weekend. Bit suprised to find "Dylan the Diver TB" in the cache, not much need for a snorkel out here. Enjoyed the walk and countryside.

I feel rather lazy now, considering that a heavily pregnant Mrs Voogs walked this. I chose the stay in the car with baby Ermalesh option. Mr E walked in from the end of a car track for the quick find. TNLNSL. Thanks four fun, we really need to get more organised to complete the rest of the series.
With 7 days till mrs voogs is due... this was an impressive effort to walk/waddle. but she made it. Without Thirdman we may never have seen the little micro coin at the bottom of the cache! TFTC
If that walk didn't hasten the arrival of ante-natal voogoofish I'll be surprised. An awesome effort by Mrs voogoofish to walk this beautiful stretch of track.
Picked up Utah Micro GC left finger trap.

Found this cache with froghoppin and have since created my own team name and currently logging previous finds after discussions with other cachers at a recent event TFTC
Have already walked the first map of the federation trail looking forward to retracing our steps to find the other 4 caches. Left key ring and geo coin, took frog

A very pleasant walk. Was good to get some exercise, a good start to the school holidays. There were some motorbike tracks though, wouldn't like to meet them whilst walking T nothing, L tea light candles. TFTC
Second time searching for this cache, finally found the correct tree for what should have been an easy find.
Nice walk and really enjoyed the view at GZ, lots of wildlife along the way, all in all very enjoyable seek can't wait to check out the other 4. TNLN, TFTC, Shane4
2nd find and had a great day.
surprised how many times we have walked that trail and never new these things were there.

Took the easy way in, thought it was hard enough to find when relying on tomtom. Once there it was a short walk from the car. Wondered if this could be walked from Stay the Night #3?

I had spent the whole day in the Murray Bridge Court, and just wanted to get home, but then thought, what the heck, I'll do a couple on the way home, and take the TB's for a ride. Took the short cut to be within 200 metres of GZ. The peace and quiet didn't last long as a freight zoomed past me at high speed.
Some one had been having some Four Fun in the creek bed, no water here for the TB Geo-fish. Found the cache easily, left a Jewel Beetle that matched the area.
It’s now 5:10 PM the Sun is going and so should I.
Cheers from The Barramundi's
