Not to be replaced now. Space is now available for another cache higher up away from rampaging river flows.
Well it go missing this time, the power of fast flowing water.
the cache will now have to be replaced. watch this space.

The cache is probably safe and dry, but the access to it is very wet.

We worked out where this one was pretty quickly and Zita had to convince Enzo to head down and look for her. It was far too grassy for her liking... It was getting dark and he would have liked to have a torch, but he found the well hidden container pretty quickly. Even though he isn't the one who is allergic to grass, he was itchy and stingy now, so it was quickly home for showers to wash off the itches. The river looked beautiful this evening, it would have been nice to swim after such a hot day. Took nothing, left some 10c coins. TFTC!!
# 5 for day & 17th for Merimbula trip. A prickly but otherwise quick find. Back to the first aid kit for greg. Alas, I remember the introduction of decimal currency, so didn't even look for a coin swap.

Found while having a short walk around Wagga Wagga. We followed the track from the Information Centre past the Caravan Park. The beach was nice - almost warm enough for a swim. Continued on and came across this cache which was quickly found. Sadly I'm too old (just) for the coin swap - so signed the log and continued on our way to a nearby coffee shop. TFTC.
Same miserably wet day but not as freezing as Canberra as it was raining so Mr Bushies2 went down there with our dog while I waited in the car, he had to struggle through nasty thistle plants and not to slip down the muddy path, had to hold the rail and concrete wall ...found the cache easily...took a TB. Thanks Roostaman.
I was in Wagga for a work trip so decided to take advantage and do some caching.
Nice easy find. Left Gabriel TB. No 1978 coin for me.

All fixed again and safely back in it's river-proof position.
Beware the prickly bush nearby.

I went, I saw & didn't believe it.... the cache would have been under 3m's of running river water, but it was still nicely in place. However, it is soaking wet, so it's undergoing a replacement & will be back online in a while.
It looks like the water has finally subsided & can now be replaced.
I should be able to get it back in action again soon.

WanderingAus wandered by on day 162 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip. After dropping the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) at Wagga RSL for a burst of pokie playing I had a 100 minute leave pass. While I was closing in on GC22CYP Post Office by The Farmers 5 I got a call from Roostaman, who was kind enough to be bringing me some Oz-Mega geocoins. He was "just around the corner" and would meet me near Post Office soon.
After chewing the fat for a while, transacting the geocoin purchase, completing the hunt for Post Office and drying it out, I followed Roostaman around to this cache. He advised me the cache had been "temporarily disabled" due to Wagga's "once in 36 years" soaking, pointed out where in the river the cache might be, and offered to lend me his gumboots, but I declined the offer. After all, his advice of where (under the water) his cache might be would turn it into a GAFF 5 find, and I prefer GAFF 0 or at worst GAFF 1. Being disabled I won't even log a DNF for this one, but the view of the river from near GZ was very interesting.
We continued to chew the fat for a while more, then both of us ran out of time. My morning's hunting was over, and I was just in time to avoid a "tardy" notice from SWMBO.

It does look this one could have finally been washed away downstream.

Geofriend and I found this one without too much trouble though the rains have made the weeds grow up around the banks pretty high. There was a suspicious hole near the cache which kept me on the look out for snakes.
Found on a trip up from Adelaide so didn't read log b4 hand just took coords tnln tftc
Quick find once we got to to GZ. Took a 1984 coin but the only one i had was a 1976 and there was already one in residence. TFTC
#471 @ 9.07am. On our Wagga weekend caching extravaganza with team Haveanez. Haveanez had been to this location previously and graciously stopped whilst we grabbed this one on the way past. Dad did cache duty and soon had it in hand.
Took: 10c Year2000 - the year The GeoPrincess was born

[I almost left in disgust of another not-found-cache!] Cleverly disguised to look like the end of a beer bottle!
A quick find made by Roosta Ez. GPS bounced a bit, but the clue helped.
A nice little hide. Thanks for bringing us to this part of Wagga.

Ah, the name of this one had us heading toward the where we thought it was when we looked at our Garmin to find we were some way off After some rain the track had become rather slippery. The thistles were doing a great job of protecting the cache. SL TNLN T4TC
TFTC, Done at night, a bit tricky to get too, but enjoyed the find, too old to get my reward
In Wagga on way north and collected a few caches on a walk by the river. No 1948 shillings available so TNLN
Thanks for a quick cache. Found after dark after we checked into the nearby Caravan park.
They did not have 10c coins when I was born but James found his and replaced it with one exactly the same
Finally home from Oz Mega and time to log. Would have needed a shilling for my year by La Kedi found a coin from her year of birth. Signed the log and continued on our way. TFTC
Haha, my year was in there!! It was a bit harder than I thought it would be to access the bank, but managed to make the withdrawal and deposited my name in the log book. TFTC! ='.'=
Found this one after a pleasant walk from the nearby caravan park. Too old for the included coins, we TNLN. Thanks Roostaman.
Interesting location and good to see water flowing as in SA it is hard to notice. TFTCSL
Found on my post Mega-event cache hunt. Got to the levee bank with high interest, vaulted down to GZ, and gouged my way to the cache . I was born too early to collect a coin, so left the treasure for those seeking common wealth Great idea for a cache. TFTC Roostaman
Parked nearby and walked to the GZ where M was quick to locate the hide and retrieve the cache. TNLNSL. TFTC. KeMS

Bumped into Lostmonster & Co a second time, there weren't any 10c pieces with our years of birth so TNLN. Signed the special OZ Megga log. TFTC
Another Mega Event find that I hadn't gotten to logging. Was a great weekend, thanks for providing caches for us to find!

Apologies for the late log. Found during the Wagga Mega Event. Our eighth of a few whilst up here for the weekend and found whilst enjoying the sites of Wagga whilst chasing the treasure hunt. Which Bank? Every bloody bank! TFTC guys catch you next time we are up this way. Cheers.
Visiting for Oz Mega Wagga Wagga from Brisbane and hunting with my regular caching buddy Gunnie69. Thanks for sharing your great city, terrific caches and fabulous hospitality with us. Great to have the opportunity to run in to so many fellow cachers at so many GZs in and around Wagga Wagga!
Well, luckily the cache is on "this" bank....and not that bank over "there".
Thanks for the cache Roostaman. Cheers, svn07

This cache was probably the longest walk of the 33 caches I did today - and it was only 200m or so. I enjoyed seeing the caravan park and the "beach", but was a little concerned over whether I would have to be high or low for the cache. In the end, I guessed right, although it wouldn't have mattered much and the cache was a quick find.

Thanks yet again (for the last time today) Roostaman

Thanks for the hunt Roostaman

Not convinced I would put my money in this bank for safe keeping but, it does appear to hold "treasure" securely so maybe worth reconsiderring...
Svn07 spotted this once at the correct GZ...
Cheers Roostaman.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 9:20am on our trip to Wagga for the OZ Mega Event (Fantastic!!) Don't know which book we logged in at. Lovely views across the river from GZ. TFTC
We grabbed this one while attending the OZ Mega Wagga Wagga. The amount of times that this cache has been and will be found this weekend should make it qualify for a record.
Many thanks to Roostaman for setting up this cache.

Found with Little Red Shoes attending Ozmega event
Great idea for a cache, unfortunately none with my year and LRS is pre-decimal!
Another team arrived just as I was sorting through the roll of coins - being from US they weren't aware that decimal currency only came in 1966 to Australia. We all SL and replaced. TNLN TFTC

Turned up and had a quick look around the obvious structure. No luck so back to the car to look at the hint. While I was doing that Anna made the find as another team came along. I'm too old for decimal currency and Anna couldn't find the right year for her so TNLNSL. Thanks Roostaman, nice spot by the river.
Found with the SA crew while at Oz Mega ~ We took some great pics at this cache SL Thanks from postiegirl06

Cache found quite easily as we approached there was another cacher busy at work. Our dang pen wouldn't work, so El Cacholoco quickly retrieved another from our geomobile as we waited on the lookout...did I drop a Gardengorilla coin in here?
Found with Indiana08 during the Oz Mega Event.
Nice idea, but I guess with so many cachers on this busy weekend, the years got a bit mixed up. While Indiana08 returned order to the coins, I went through my coinage. Just as we were about to return the cache to its hiding place, pprass and Phetlern turned up. As initial finders, we felt some responsibility to return it to its proper place. But then cachers appeared from all directions and as the stream seemed never-ending, we handed the responsibility over to a new arrival and went on to find a few more caches.

Found this one easily after a quick stumble, there were a lot of "doubles" in the cache, and I took the time to reorder the coins. Let's see how long that lasts. Ran into pprass and Phetlern there too.
