The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. This cache appears to be gone. Please replace or archive so another can be placed
Time to say goodbye to this or replace it or at the very least take it offline so it does not show up on pocket queries....
We spent a while looking for this today but to avail. Could it have disappeared?

After reading the last few logs I didn't hold much hope of finding this cache and that certainly turned out to be the case.
Thanks anyway The Sundowners.

Had a good look as well, but nothing could be found.

An interesting visit on our way to Temora. I cant imagine it would be hard to find however we were not able to locate the cache.
Was doing a car shuttle for the upcoming St Clement's Way walking trip - Friday 29 April to Sunday 01 May 2011 - from Yass to the St Clements monastery at Galong walking along quiet old stock routes. Called into Johnny Gilberts grave site to log a cache as well. Would have left a Chinese Feng Shui coin for the Year of the Rabbit but the micro was just too small - so left a sticker on the signed log - good hide TFTC - 2BluFish.
On our way to Ardlethan, stopped for a rest and a quick find of this cache.. TFTC
Last find on the way to work in Harden and a late arvo cold beer at the Royal. The carpark at GZ is certainly more 'flash' than the last time I visited Mr Gilbert's grave. I dont imagine that I shall be so fortunate to have such a well maintained approach to my final place of rest. Many thanks to the Sundowners
How do you make a long trip take even longer?
Cache along the way.
However, caching your way across the country means that at least there is no need to stop every 2 hours for a rest-revive-survive break - the caches are closer together than that!
7.25pm- #81 found on a non-cache inspired trip from Sydney to Adelaide & back (but I could not waste the opportunity to get some smileys).
this was worth the stop to read abou this intersting part of our history, so thanks for placing a cache here - otherwise I would probably keep on driving through.

Wow this is one of the nicest graves we have seen today, and it is for a criminal; this shows the larrikin nature if Australia at it's best, along with waltzing Matilda, awesome. TFTC
(1:51 PM) Expected a simply drive-by on the way home from Harden and was surprised and pleased by what I found. Thanks Sundowners and geocaching for showing me another hidden gem.
Had given up so read the hint then gave up again then took a break to look at the grave. Had another look and there it was. TFTC
This is a lovely little area. I enjoyed coming here, and reading about mad, bad bushrangers. Someone works very hard at keeping this place nice, and I appreciate it. Oh, I liked the cache, too.
After not thinking the little Mazda would get up the gutter into the parking area we made our way to GZ and after having a look at the grave turned our attention to the cache. After Ju looking unsuccessfully in the obvious spot I re-checked it and came up with the cache.
Thanks for showing us this however the nearby sign show his age differently to the grave marker[?]

Out collecting some firewood so decided to pick up a cache on the way. TFTC The Sundowners.
Found John Gilberts Grave, no problem, but as for finding the cache
we were out of luck. It was getting dark and we didnt have a torch with us.
Will definately have to come back again & try next time.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Reperio at 0640. Stopped by this one on an extended route to to Albury to pick up a few caches I never seem to go past. I almost this one in the dark, but once I spotted the stairs, I couldn't believe how well maintained this spot was for being so isolated.
Gratias.

What a well-maintained grave. Thanks for bringing us here and for the history lesson.
initially went to the wrong location but by luck actually ended up at the cashe site. 1st solo find was very exciting.
A quick find by torchlight on the run to Canberra.
OK, we were on a maintenance run for the Sundowners on this one. Too nice a spot not to have a cache in residence.

Bushrangers have always played a part in my life as my father knew all about them and the history of this country. I know a lot of songs dating back fro the convict era and I was disappointed when i read the logs after i searched to see that it hasn't been here for a while.
I was with FarmerFrentzen when he was looking for this one, it certainly wasn't where it was when I found it.
Bail UP !!!
The Pirates call to pay our respects to a lander love who also like BOOTY....

Second attempt at this one. Found quickly when the cache was actually in place. TFTC.
Took the day off work to go watch the remote control turbine jets up at Temora.
Was glad this one was replaced (well done that cacher) and found easily where I looked the first time for a muggled cache.
Great day out watching jets crash and explode, great fun.

Seen this one hasnt been found for some time and was comming past on Sunday so decided to check it out and it was gone.had a spare one in the car so i left it in the same spot as the old one was ,Hope no body minds.
Not claiming an DNF for this.....just recording that we were there and the cache certainly doesn't appear to be.
Interesting to read about the Flash's adventures all the same.
Hope the cache can come back online soon.

That'll teach me to keep GSAK up to date! A spur of the moment decision to do this one only lead to frustration in the rain (yes it rained!) Anyway it was interesting to see & read the history. Thanks.
Like previous cachers we did plenty of looking but did not find anything.
Day 309 of non-stop caching
Day 309 of non-stop caching
Completed a thorough search based upon the clue. Even found supected cache booty (rubber teeth) left on the ground. Muggles may have got this one?
We scrambled up and down, and searched here and there but no cache, suspect it's muggled.
Cheers

Just backdating this DNF. Had a look on the way to Griffith for the Easter long weekend.
Had a good look around but all we found were some rubber teeth on the ground, which we suspect may have been some "treasure" from the cache.

I've driven past the sign here many a time and always wondered. Today it was a nice spot to stop and rest for a moment. Easily found and signed, but watch out for the ants!
I've been driving past this for over twenty years! Geokiddy took the dog pendant and left JALO badge.

Found 15:10. Driven pass this spot for years and never stopped. To find a cache was a good reason too.
This one was the last on my list for the journey. I have been past this place quite a few times and even stopped a couple. The cache was found in a "flash", stopped to read the history and on again.
Found at 9.25am GAFF1. So that is where the name "Flash Gordan" originated from! Love to see these places - not good enough for a cemetry was he? Thanks The Sundowners.
Good to see Flash getting a bit more belated recognition. Wonder what he would have thought of geocaching?? TFTC

We have done a few caches relating to bushrangers these holidays. A nice spot to stop, though, mounting that sloped edge to the parking area is um, well, interesting.
Cheers

What a lovely view Flash has.
A very nice spot that I have driven by for years thinking I really should stop one day and have a look. Now that I am a geocacher, I have the reason and I am very glad I did. The early spring blossoms were peeping out, and the sheep on the hillside were looking quite content.
Thanks for prompting me to finally stop and check out this lovely spot. And to learn a little more about Flash.

Found at 0900, a bit difficult to access due to roadworks but should be much easier when the roadworks have been completed. Thanks Sundowners for bringing me here as I would have driven past without noticing the grave site otherwise.
Did this one back on the 20th with my oldman, only just logging it today the 30th, Driven past this spot so many times before getting into the caching.
Found by Mary & David at 1115. We had been here many years ago (long before caching began). Nice to have an excuse to return. The country here looks wonderful, and the cache is nice and dry. TNLN. Our thanks to The Sundowners.
Another well recommended cache stop with a great story .A new car park is in progress too. Thanks to The Sundowners .
Found 14:30, a great cache in a location that we might easily have missed if not for this cache.

Found at 2:30 pm on our way home from a vintage rally at Cootamundra. We spotted this one on our way to Coota but it was to late in the night to stop. What an interesting grave site. Our 9th find for the weekend.
