Happy to say I found this cache. My first attempt I realised I chose the wrong angle. Oops. Thanks for the mental challenge as well! TFTC cheerful ronnies.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. We made the find here. Thanks for the cache.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Thanks for the hide.
Full time Nomads since March 2014.
Having been in Perth to visit family our stay has come to an end and we are on our way to Broken Hill for the Mundi Mundi Bash.
Moving today from Jamestown to Orroroo. We pulled into the driveway at the caravan park and the wind was unleashed on us. My goodness crazy crazy windy. We unhitched the van and headed out to cache in advance of the forecast rain but wow that wind was crazy it was difficult to even open the car doors. We had to be so careful that the logsheets didnt blow away before we could put them back.

Mr Tardis was out for an adventure bike ride through some back roads and tracks around Orroroo and surrounding areas.I found the cache in the second place I searched. Some interesting history in the back roads and towns.Signed the log. Thanks for the cache cheerful ronnies.PS: Sorry for the late log. Slowly getting through logging my previous finds.
Found during a caching trip to SA's mid north staying at Orroroo for two nights and Jamestown for the last night. Did the calculations and headed down the road for the search. Thanks for the cache cheerful ronnies!
After a bit of head scratching, had the eureka moment, and the container was duly found. Very satisfying. Tftc

This weekend, jesswrigley and I headed to Melrose for mountain biking the trails with a few non-geocaching friends. We ended up hiking up to Mount Remarkable on Sunday, and on Monday, we returned to home via Booleroo Centre, Jamestown, and Clare. The weekend had some rain drizzle and crisp mornings, but otherwise good weather for fitness.
Today, we had a morning Melrose mountain biking session, before starting to drive back to Adelaide. We had some time to fill, so ended up taking the long route via Booleroo Centre, Hornsdale, and Jamestown, to then arrive at Clare for an afternoon tea/coffee event. It was then an expedited drive via Gawler.
I managed to complete this geocache's projection ahead of time, so after checking out the cute old school ruin, we walked to GZ, where the cache was found after a few minutes. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks cheerful ronnies for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

After lotsa wet stuff from on high all morning, Nottle Rd was a no-go zone so Piggott Rd was the choice of parking for the GeoMobile then i went over on foot. Puddles and mud made even that a challenge as i inched my way closer to the hide trying to keep my shoes dry as possible ha ha

This cache was found on the final day as I headed home from a solo camping trip north. My journey had taken me up the Strzelecki Track into central and western Queensland, across to Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory, then back down towards Adelaide via quite a convoluted route. In all I ended up covering 12,000 Km over almost 5 weeks and visited some very remote and spectacular areas along the way. And of course I also found some great caches!
After camping near Hawker last night I decided to find some of the more out of the way caches towards Lake Torrens before taking a rather circuitous route back to Adelaide to find a number of multis, mystery and letterbox caches that I had targeted, including this one.
The required projection was quickly completed and the cache was found in good order.
Thanks cheerful ronnies for the puzzle and the cache.

Today I started off in Peterborough and caches my way around the back roads in the northern area before finishing of the day with a bit of caching with Davidwazza near Wilmington and his event before making the drive home. A total of 89 caches for the day.

Not many students would have fitted in this school house! So good to se thes old buildings proudly standing. The log book is slighly damp. Thanks for sharing this area with us! Had a great day caching. to the area.
After a lovely night at the camp site (great facilities for tent campers) but a crap game of footy (if you are a Pies fan) it was up and ready for a day of caching in the Orroroo surrounds.
We travelled all over the countryside and had a fantastic day. We did an epic multi, visited lots of abandoned structures with heaps of history, saw lots of Orroroo masters games venues and called in at the pub in Pekina for a beer. Great day of country fun, punctuated with some super finds. Love a good day of SA country caching.
It started off very cold this morning with low lying clouds meaning we were in fog for the first couple of hours. Once this burnt off it was a superb winters day, sunny and warm. We saw lots of sheep, roos, wallabies, goats and an echidna which was cool. Rex had a brilliant day and was absolutely shattered by the time we got back to the campsite.
We wagged school and Sail and Rex went in for a visit whilst I found a cahce. TFTC cheerful ronnies

Staying two nights in Port Pirie before heading home and having a day trip around the southern Flinders Ranges. Visited a great variety of cache types and saw some amazing country side. Thank you to all the COs for your effort in placement of caches in interesting places.
Found It!
I had a quick look in the obvious structure to begin with before reading more carefully and realising I needed to be elsewhere. A quick find after that!

Quite amazing that this old building has stood (and still does) for so long .

ttrogg wanted to go for a drive and so muggle partner and I joined him for a fun day out
It was a good day to be going for a lengthy drive as almost all the way to our destination it rained: lightly and heavily and everything in between
On the way a few caches were found then after ttrogg got his FTF on a Booleroo cache, it was head for home caching until the navigator said time to stop caching and just drive 14 finds
Wagging school[?] Not these days but I was known to miss the odd hour or two when I was at school
Cache was found after a bit of a crawl and the log book is now dry It's amazing what a bit of patience and warm weather will do [^]

Out with LLL51 and Madham02 for a day of exploring and caching.
Stopped here and made the calculations, then headed to GZ. Found the cache then stopped to take photos of the old school. I love visiting these old ruins and imagining what life was like when they were in their prime. [^]

Headed out of the centre to check out a few older cache and sites worth visiting. This was one! We love these gems tucked off main roads.
Did the calculations and wandered up the road startling a BIG roo across the road. Alas he was blind and once negotiated the fence then continued to hop around in circles on the road!
Hopefully he will get back into a paddock and not under a car!
Found the cache easily and took many snaps of the ruins and mine.
Thanks for replacing Kellygang, great to see these old cache being kept going.

After our 'gourmet' tour of Booleroo Centre, visiting the butcher, local grocery store and bakery and even watching the local book week parade we decided on one more stop to find this out of the way mystery cache.
Wow what a hidden little gem of a location. We had four kids with us and today being a Friday they were indeed all wagging school!
Nearly a year since the last find and amazingly, I now read that a second person visited the cache this weekend!

Found on my tour of the area today.
Some of the roads are a little wet after recent rains.
Like this one !!
The roadworks on the main road that runs past GZ were not helping the muddiness factor either [:o]
So from the monument, I wandered off on foot with me big boots on.
I couldn't actually walk on the road, as it was just one big muddy, mess
So I took the short cut through the farmers paddock
Don't tell the farmer
At GZ I searched around a few likely spots and eventually found the well hidden cache under one of my main caching adversaries !!
An evil tree, that makes me sneeze and always tries to take an eye out whenever I venture in beneath its branches [:o]

After a night visiting friend in the area nearby the night before thought we would pick up a few caches as we had not done any in Orroroo and out of the way areas, so Easter Long week end an ideal time to do this spending time together. We found this conatiner all wet and soggy, the container was not idea a 4 litre ice cream conatiner not sealing properly. But in the Soggy log we found a note dated 26/10/12 that the land owner found this while fencing and did not know what this was about, and said I put it back. Follow the road to Booleroo, first house on the Right call in for a coffee and explain to us what this is about. We did not have time sorry. But we did replace the container now it is a Sistema conatiuner 1 litre in size and new swaps and log book with stash note enclosed so it it all ready to contiue to be found in a dry way not wet. TFTC
Cache needs attention contents dirty and or rusty logbook damp however loved the white cliffs TFTC
A quick find although container is looking worse for wear, the white cliffs nearby looked impressive in the afternoon sun TFTC
This is another old school that is now gone, it would have been a lot harder to wag school in those days than it is now as with so few students attending such a small school the teacher would have known straight away if some one was missing. We left the car at the co-ords and walked the last 80 odd metres as after last nights rain the area was quite muddy and we didn't want to churn things up.
The cache was in an obvious location and a nice easy find

Not a good idea to turn container upsidedown when lid is not attatched, everything falls out.Was impressed that this location had lasted so long just on the outskirts of a large town, tftc
Well, even though this is a mystery, instead of excluding it, we decided to have a go, such an interesting spot too. We drained the water out of the container, and on returning it put i upside down so water will not retain in there, the log was in reasonable shape, double bagged too.

Shouldn't this be listed as a multicache?
Drove past the start by the required distance, but at first the hint threw us. Decided to look in the obvious spot and simply couldn't miss the large container!
As others have noted, this cache really needs a new container. Most of the swaps could be just thrown away as they are just rusty trash. The cache had probably a cup or two of water in it, which we drained out. Thankfully, the log book is nice and dry in its plastic bags.
Thanks cheerful ronnies. Hopefully you'll log back in one day and maybe fix your caches up.

Needs replacement of container badly, it's waterlogged, swaps are swamped, log book replaced in double sealed bags for now and O.K.

What a great old building. I got some nice photos of it. The cache was found easily enough. It really needs to be re-vamped. Moisture has got in, in the past and the contents are mostly toast with all the metal objects now rusty. The log book is fine though. TNLN. Cheers.
The projection was plotted, I couldn't find a way of entering 'roughly NW' into the GPSr so I took a punt. As it turned out I got it right and a very wet cache was soon located. I dried things out as much as possible, and took out a couple of swaps that were beyond saving, during this quick visit. Most of the remaining swaps are looking a bit sad.
I'm glad that I didn't wag school the day they talked about projections using a GPSr - if only GPSrs were around when I went to school.
Thanks for the cache cheerful roonies.
