Finally got round to solving a relatively simple Z puzzle on my GSAK list and its archived... NOOOOOOO!!!! The injustice!!! Oh well at least I had fun with this one.

29-Oct-10
As the final location has truly gone this cache can be added to the 'to be redone' list.

14-Oct-10
Drove past GZ and saw the 'structure' that this one is hidden on has GONE!!.. can u believe that!!...lol.. the whole thing is gone. Couldn't see it anywhere else from the road.. but pretty sure they haven't hidden it around the corner. This one will probably need to be looked at. Smile

LOST: One complete huge grey Ferguson tractor. Quite old. Last seen in the Newton area. (Also contains one bonus Geocache)

(Srsly. There was no trace it was ever there!)

17-Aug-10
arrghhh when i finally completed this puzzle (made difficult because there is more than 1 solution to it!!!)...we headed off to get this one.. only to get there and exclaim... ohhh i cant believe it's there..how many times have we been HERE and never knew!!!

Nice puzzle.. great hide.

Was heading home from a fire out the North East at 5:00 am so a perfect time to grab this but there is still activity even then around GZ.

Had a hunt around but couldn't find anything then it hit me - elevation is the key. Great spot for a hide. TFTC. Big Grin

Most enjoyable puzzle (I like it when I can see what to do straight away), and a most unusual spot to find an object such as that!
Thanks Zytheran.

22-May-10
I'd popped around after midnight, early on a Thursday morning a few weeks ago, expecting to find no one around. I was wrong on this count, however, as a couple of people were working right at GZ obviously there for the long haul. I decided there was safety in numbers, so I visited the site again, this time at 3:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. Lots more people but no one to care what I was doing.

I adopted the "let's look at this strange object" attitude and after poking around for a while, came up with the goods. I sauntered back to the car, filled in the log, swapped dice and returned the container back to where it was found. All Good.

Thanks for the interesting puzzle and the cache, Zytheran. Do you think they drove it up there?

Really wanted to get this one as it was one of my favourites to solve. Pretty sure we had the right appliance but felt rather exposed so reluctantly left after only a short look.

One of the 108 finds during our ‘Adelaide Assault’ with Wessarah. A great day’s adventure, lots of fun– but tired the next day. TFTC

Found with o'cholio after climbing a hill in the dark.
I had had a sotuion for a while but just never came past this place at the right time of day.
2100 is a good time, no muggles.

A drive-by a couple of days ago while the area was muggle-infested was all it took to make up our minds about coming back after hours. On arrival tonight with AdrianMc, it soom became apparent that it wasn't necessary, to our surprise. Took a while (and a few 'successful' solutions) to find out what was Zeeish about this puzzle! TFTC Z.

23-Nov-09
I had made up my mind this afternoon to find a few of the easier zytheran puzzles that I have had completed for a while.
I have done a couple of these puzzles before and much prefer them to Sudoku.
Loved the final location which took me a while to spot.

This was cache # 19 of 65 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanza. I had a little help on this puzzle but no trouble on the hide, how did you find this location? My thanks to Zytheran for the cache.

02-Nov-09
As luck would have it my (almost) daily paper has recently started putting these alongside the sudoku and Ken Ken. So some practice helped with the puzzle although the variation had me for a short while. A nice hide too.

Nice puzzle and great GZ. Wondered how it got there though! Thanks for the cache Zytheran.

22-Sep-09
A friend of mine put me on to Kakuro a while back so I was practiced up before attempting this one. Got through it without too many hassles but the hide posed a few more. A couple of kids had followed me to GZ forcing me to wait them out (I caught up on a few phone calls). Once they left I was able to concentrate my search to a particular area and nabbed it.

Cheers,

Totally embarrassed by our ineptitude in finding this cache. One of those Doh!!! moments, wondering what we were thinking. Had this one solved ages ago went to 'ground' zero. Where we were was absolutely packed with muggles so we ended up doing the roast bit of the cache and wondered what time of the day we could come back to look at our possibility when no one would be around. Drove past often but always in the middle of the day. Finally, a few months later we had the opportunity and returned again. Almost immediately we realised we had to take this puzzle cache to whole nother level that we some how missed last time. The puzzle and cache were soon solved and we can finally cross this one off.

How did that get there?

Have had the puzzle solved for a while, but was finally travelling past tonight, and took the opportunity to stop. We had the place to ourselves at 10pm at night, which was handy, though the cache was found in the first place i looked

Thanks for the fun and challenge

Found at 14:00.
Solved this one many moons ago. Hard to resist buying something as I hadn't eaten since 7am. A good puzzle and a good hide.

01-May-08
1:30pm was not a good time to attempt this cache.Sad
Wasn't sure I had the correct coords or the initial coords, but knew I had the right ones by the aroma.
Hopefully will pass again with fewer muggles present.

Another one that was solved a while back and waiting for some time to go find it. Once again mr Irac was the smarty pants cottoning on to the meaning of the clue which had Mrs scratching her head in dismay. Im just trying to forget Howard as fast as I can. Left a frog (sorry no dice in my stock) and took the TB

Find number 1319, With the puzzle solved the cache was found quickly for Mr MadMyers and I before heading back to the car for Everlasting to drive us to the next one. Thanks for placing this cache which helped us find 189 today. Cheers The Nanks

15-Jan-08
Down from Sunny Queensland on holidays with TheNanks - what a perfect time to have a big run on caching through the night and day! So MrMadMyers and MrTheNanks went out on a cache adventure - so many caches to find - so many hours spent!! Thanks for the cache - no swaps today as no geokids along on the adventure.

This one has been on our list to do for a few years. Finally got around to it. Nicely done. thanks Zytheran

Our last puzzle for the christmas break, enjoyed doing this one. A quick easy find once we had the coordinates. Thanks Zytheran for so many great puzzle caches. We will look forward to doing more on our next visit home.

On election day, yes Howard was roasted was this a prophecy??? Left a plane to get to dice heaven in Las Vegas Smile TN SL TFTC I (SHMBO1)lived and worked a spits throw from here for years, actually remember when the shops were built, along with the ones over the road.... ahhhh many sleeps have gone by now.

Little strange how this find occurred. Decided to plant a container here myself late one night and forgot about registering it for some months. Miss Jane sent a message to ask about the Da Frizz cache she had just found which was 200 micro metres from Z's. Whilst taking mine back had to hunt 'Roast Kakuro' as I waited for the chips to cook downstairs. Cheers for the heads up Miss Jane, and thanks also to Z for da cache.

21-Oct-07
on my big sunday of caching. I had solved this one awhile and had come to look a few time before but aborted due to muggle activity. This time I looked properly and found that the hint was not referring to the up and coming election but something else.... nice hide nice puzzle..
Thank you

as always Z this was clever

Cheers

Mmmm, roast kakuro.... my favourite Smile. After reading the description carefully, I solved the puzzle some time ago. Finally in the area tonight on my way to collect another cache, so dropped in to put this one to bed. Eventually worked out the meaning of the hint, and located the cache. Fun puzzle and a neat hide... TNLN, Thanks Zytheran!

found after 2 previous muggled out attempts this am.I guess I looked a bit strange in my suit.Easy find after I worked out the hint was not some sort of prophecy relating to the next election.Nice hide

Worked this out yesterday afternoon, and then another Z cache last night bringing it up to 3 Z caches I have coordinates worked out for. Sat and had a coffee while I thought of all the spots it could be then ticked them off one by one. Couldnt work out the clue until I was putting the cache back but thats ok. TNLNSL. TFTC. MODU.

Not a lot of finds on this one since our first look. We now drive past here often, and today decided to stop by for a second look. Purchased a couple of drinks then just relaxed whilst rehydrating and surveying GZ. Miss J had a casual look around and produced one cache! We are sure that we must have looked there before. We were thinking this to be a really devious hide, but it was just there. Took nothing, but left the 12 sided dice that we took from Astro's Mars cache. Thanks Zytheran.

28-Dec-06
The Kettle Kids solved this puzzle some months ago as the listed co-ordinates were in the middle of their home footy oval. They even took the puzzle to school to challenge their teachers! We finally got around to finding the cache today as we were driving past. Found without difficulty.
Thanks Z. We always enjoy the challenge of your puzzles.

After re-reading the story, the 900 potential solutions became just 1 Red Face. TFTC Zytheran.

I took the wheelchair ramp. It was much nicer. Smile Thanks Zyth

23-Nov-06
ahhhhh I see Red Face

20-Nov-06
Terrain is fine, there's a wheelchair ramp at the back that gives easy access.

19-Nov-06
I also solved puzzle ages ago. Asked Z if I was right, got a cryptic answer in return (which now all makes sense!) Was in the area today on way home from work, so thought I'd have a look, since it was way less likely to have muggles crawling all over gz! Found quite quickly, without the crptic reply, but I did find some valuable assistance in a couple of logs, and the hint has one very needy word which confirmed location!
Thanks for the challenge Z, but I think the star rating on terrain needs to be 1/2 star higher?
Left 1 dice, TNSL
Cheers

Fortunately I stopped one shy of my 400th find on my recent 4x4 Adventure in Victoria. It seemed only fitting that, as I had no Zytheran caches to my name to date, that I find this cache which I solved the day it was published (Team BaggyGreen's FTF log can testify to that).
So six months after solving the beast, and with more than one or two other Zytheran caches leaving me to scratch my head, I found this one early on a long day of caching and brought up number 400.
Thanks Zytheran and the clan for at least one puzzle cache that can be solved relatively easily.

Have had a set of coords sitting around here for ages, but only today tried finding the cache. A very busy area indeed. We found the little fella mentioned in the hint, but he wasn't giving away the hidey hole. Urrgh. Another one to complete later. [B)]

Twelfth of 13 finds on a lazy night (we didn't start until 2200 Smile) in the company of Freddo, SA_Parrothead, and Skippy&Lambchops. It pays to do your homework before travelling. There are several puzzle caches that I had solved either during my last visit or at home in preparation for this visit. It is alays good to find out that your calculations were correct. I found the cache under Freddo's watchful eye at 0025. Thanks to Zytheran for the cache.

IN: 2 × dice
OUT: Frog (how did that get in there? Big Grin)

11-Feb-06
Solved the puzzle long ago and went for a quick search but was obviously in the wrong spot. Had a bit more of a play with the puzzle and finally came up with 4 different but all correct solutions to the puzzle!! They were all within 100m of each other though so today I decided to have another look using the process of elimination.
Fortunately Mr Howard came to the rescue and it was a quick search. TN, left a pair of die, SL.
Cheers Zytheran, another fun and mentally stimulating experience.

09-Jan-06
Solved puzzle a while ago and had a quick look but too many mugglers.
Went back today and I think because of heat no one in sight. Found the area and on confirming with TT soon found before I melted.
I wonder why they put this up here?

Thanks Z you do like buzzing around

A very clever puzzle which took TimTam about 4 go's to get the numbers to fit (TimTam's logic getting a bit rusty hey Razz) and it took him 3 trips to determine a suitable time to find the cache Red Face but only now does he realise that he could have found it on his first trip Sad. Great work Zytheran. Took nothing left blue 12-sided die Big Grin.

Solved the puzzle a week ago but only had a chance to give this one a go on an evening bike ride. Took us awhile, as our coordinates seemed to be about 20m out. We widened our search a bit and eventually eagle-eyed Miss Wibble spotted something that fit very well with the clue. Easily found after that!
Took a couple of dice and left a stifler advice dice.
Thanks for the puzzle Zytheran.

25-Oct-05
Should have thought like a bee before I started counting using my fingers.
I was only out by 150 meters and drove past it on the way out last time.
No problems this time. I spotted a likely location and Ni had it in hand as quick as a flash.
Left some dice and logged an entry.

Parrot found the location and I beat him to the cache.
This place needs some shrubberies.
Signed the log along with SA_Parrothead

Found by Mary & David at 1415. Another absorbing puzzle, that we finished before we left home. Didn't expect to find what we did at GZ. Great fun! TNLN. Our thanks again to Zytheran.

23-Oct-05
[Thought I had this one worked out, but on checking my answer with Freddo discovered I was wrong.] Apparently 10-sided dice don't exist! [Just as well I didn't try to go where I thought it was! Anyway, a Sunday is an ideal time to visit this location, but don't forget your dice.. as I did.]

22-Oct-05
Dont you just hate it when you dont find the last cache of the day.
Spent a day down at Strath and thouhght I would try finding this one on the way home.
I have had great fun playing with this puzzle and thought it was time stop playing and go find it.
Alas my search was in vain as I ended up in a barren location with the nearest searchable area being 12 metres away.
I did find a steering lock, half a pasty and an assortment of drink containers.
Back to the drawing board.

As a diversion from the lesser shuffle I did the puzzle last night. A couple of false goes, then I got into the swing of things. Wish the lesser shuffle was that easy.

The cache was a bit of a puzzle to. Firstly where? Then where???? Will have to come back with a die swap, but not 9 to 5.

Brilliant cache Mr Zee.

14-Oct-05
I'm with Langy on this. Enjoyed the puzzle, but the cache will have to wait until I'm going out that way. Thanks for the mental challenge.
